"One, no, I was with this one guy but he seems frozen in time as he was carrying me away...I had a time getting free. Two, I don't think they would understand if we asked. They try to kill any intruder and they are really strong and dangerous and there are tons of them! there is no chance we could get anything if they did!" she spoke quickly, fearing they would still try to follow her.
"Maybe the mechanism to open that door is in another area entirely..?"
She seemed to think a moment. "But..if you really MUST head into the thick of a bunch of angry one-eyed monsters...I'll go with you. Maybe I can hold them off if I really let loose.."

Angeal walked along, the snow crunching underneath his feet. He saw a mountain in the distance, and decided to go for it. After an hour of walking, he reached what was once a giant, Prometheus. Well he didn't know the name of this titan, nor why he was imprisoned, but he had seen people running around trying to do something. Either they were an evil cult bent on releasing a monster upon the world, or they were heroes seeking to help an old giant win his freedom.
He walked up to the chains. They were different than most. They seemed to him to have magical properties of some kind.
"What is your name, and why have you been imprisoned? If it helps, my name is Angeal, and my fight is with all who create suffering. Which would mean my fight would be with those who imprisoned you if they did so without just cause. For what honor is there in holding a captive?" Angeal unsheathed his sword, and swung it with all his might, slamming the blade down on the chains. The chain took damage, he saw that, but what he saw next was something he hadn't expected. The chains fixed themselves, as if as good as the day they were forged, except for the rust. The rust threw off that idea.
"Impressive chains. They were are otherworldly, as am I. I would gladly trade places with you for a chance at my redemption. For a monster deserves to be chained or killed, and not to roam free. But if that can't be the case, then let me know how I can help." Angeal wanted to show proof of what he said, so he revealed the two wings on his right side, one being rather large, and the other smaller.
"This is my curse, my burden. It is because of these wings I have no honor left, and it is more of a burden to earn honor than it is to have it."

"If you have any kindness in your heart, monster, then spare me your inflated speeches on mortal honour. They are lost upon an immortal such as I. But then to be forever, so long without company, it is only the beginnings of madness that would urge me to drive you away with hostility. Forgive an old man, if you are able."
Unlike the child before this man was no ordinary mortal. A great darkness slept within him. And otherworldly darkness whose true strength lay beyond even the Titan's current ability to discern.
"I am trapped here forever for giving the gift of fire to the humans, long before even the world was split into the many they exist as now, thus allowing them to advance into true culture. For stealing fire from Olympus to do so I am chained here and the method to free me hidden away. I do not know if a monster bearing the shape of a man can appreciate that gift, but if honour is what you seek then please help me. A child of the mortal blood now walks upon these hills, off toward your right he ran, trying to help me. I do not know how long I can expect my young saviour to live here upon my dangerous prison. Yet other mortals walk here as well. I do not know what good or ill has yet befallen them."

Angeal listened to the old man's words. "Very well, I forgive you, and I won't bring up mortal honor again." Angeal looked to the right path, the one that the titan pointed out, and took it.

[ Angeal, until Rukio or Faye post again you can assume they aren't visible ]
As Angeal walked out onto the Snowside path the temperature dropped steadily as he would progress and snow built up at his feet. A large impassable door stood in the side of the mountain some way down the road, a missing crack or level or handle of some sort preventing any use of it.
Up farther ahead was a growing rumbling noise. If he got to abotu half-way around the mountain then Angeal would see large rolling masses of snow falling down the side of the mountain from the summit up above, which would make going farther very dangerous... for anyone who was forced to walk on the ground at least.

"Ah! Sounds like a good plan." she answered, looking around, then at the sword. "Oooo..That looks really handy! Where'd you get it? And do you have any idea where a safe place is...?" she asked, though trailed off as she heard rumbling. THE rumbling. Her heart froze, then lept into action. She knew that rumble. SNOWBALLS.
"NOT SAFE HERE!" she cried, not sure which way to run now. Toward the monsters away from the snowballs or away from both. Extremely white-hot light appeared in her hand, should she have to melt it. "Boy! We gotta decide now!"

A lone figure trudged up the snowy mountain path he had just previously walked down from. He was not a stranger to this place, having shown up on the first page of this quest with his traveling companion and then mysteriously disappeared for the rest of the six pages. In reality, Luther Shiang had simply left, highly disgruntled and peeved, of course. Unlike his all benevolent partner, Faye, Luther see no point in wasting his time to save a near naked man chained to the walls. Especially when he had been put there by the gods. It was a fate even the Black Mantis was unwilling to mess with, and even with the mention of rewards, the stoic vampire was uninterested. Unless the titan was able to conjure up a way to restore Luther to full power and status, there was nothing Prometheus could offer Luther that will satisfy him.
Thus, he left, quite begrudgingly too since Faye refused to leave with him. Something about that just upsets the normally apathetic male. She had been so willingly to follow him everywhere, clinging so close that it was suffocating. Now, all of sudden, the night elf decides to run off on her own? It was as if she saw no more value in the Black Mantis, who she had fawn over just the day before.
Luther scoffed at that thought. He didn’t need the girl’s adoration to feel of value…her sudden change in behavior was just slightly disturbing. And Luther would have gladly walked off and out of this place without her acting as his shadow. His long black hair whipped in the brisk breeze and he reached up to pull it into a pony tail to avoid further whipping.
Why did he turn back then if he didn’t need the girl? Well, it might have been that gnawing feeling at the bottom of his stomach. Which he had assume was hunger at first, having not eaten for a few days. Unfortunately, his stomach continued to gnaw even after he downed the nasty stale blood he had stashed in a container for back up. And it gnawed as he walked down the mountain, gnawed as he reached the foot of the hill, and continued to gnaw even as he turned and reluctantly retraced his steps. Really, it was quite silly. Moronic, even. For someone who had every inch of control over his body—quite proudly, Luther can perfectly calculate the exact day, time, right to the second of when he would first feel the pang of hunger after his last meal—he was starting to lose the strings that hold him together. It annoyed him to no ends.
Arriving at the platform where Prometheus was bound, Luther looked up at him with disdain. He dislikes looking up at someone, having always looked down upon the people around him. Looking around, Luther acknowledged the many exists. “I have no interest in helping you,” Luther stated as he walked towards the man. “I am only here to fetch a lost pet.”
“Which path did the girl with the blue hair take?”

[I'm back! Sorry for being M.I.A after so long <<j]
Tidus had to face a similar peril as the Mimic(4) emerged from its ruined disguise and attempted to get right up into the young athlete's personal space and bind up his arms and legs by looping its growing limbs out like tight ropes and wrapping him up.
Tidus had little time to react and chose only one motive: swing his sword around wildly. With all of the mimics limbs flying around trying to grab him Tidus just began swinging his sword around wildly cutting anything that was getting near him. It may have done the job in preventing him from being bound again and the rapid swings from his sword might have reduced the mimic to a pile of cut pieces.
Even if he destroyed that mimic, there were still three others to take care of. Hopefully the other guys that were there were still able to fight on. Tidus made a promise to that Titan, he had to free him from his prison.

Tidus made a good effort in slicing up the Mimic(4)'s thin black arms, each one turning into vapour and disappearing after being severed, but the creature seemed to have an unlimited supply and the onslaught came long enough for it to catch a bit of timing. Just as the athlete hero cut off one more limb the fat round body of the Mimic(4) closed all of its red eyes and bounded forward, slipping past the Caladbolg and slamming into Tidus' head, knocking him back. The monster rebounded off of the kid's face and bounced upward. During its hang-time in the air the black beast opened its many eyes again and shot a single thin limb from the center of its body down at the boy's chest like a spear, the end sharpened to a cutting point.

So this man was not easy to threaten. He had lifted his head to sniff for Faye’s scent. However, even with his superior senses, the fierce winter wind had blown away all presence of the girl. The snow had curbed the sharpness of sounds, as if stuffing his ears with cotton. He could see, but the snow blinded him, reflecting the weak glare of the sun and amplifying it right in his eyes. Luther felt as if he had been stuffed in a bottle, restrained and restricted. He could not continue without help. He did not scoff, stomp his feet, or growl in response, though it did miffed him slightly that he could not get his way. Instead, the male lifted his head, giving the chained titan his full attention now.
It has become harder and harder for the Black Mantis to appear menacing. No one cowers in fright at his appearance. No one runs for their life protecting their necks. Not even the timid Faye fears him, though she respects him [or so he would like to think]. And though he still refuses to acknowledge his decline in status, Luther will give respect where respect is due, or in cases like these, when he has no choice but to bend and look up.
“It would be foolish to rest your hopes on someone like her,” Luther muttered half to himself and half to Prometheus. He has seen what the girl was capable of, and to say she was incapable would be stupid. Yet, Luther would never admit it…
“Allow me to aid her,” he spoke, sighing inwardly. He just wanted to see Faye. At least make sure the silly little elf was still in one piece for him to cart away. “She cannot do this without me.”
Looking straight at Prometheus, he spoke again, full of authority, "Which route did she take?"

"NOT SAFE HERE!" Angeal heard a young woman's voice cry. He took flight, and shot off toward it. He came upon two travelers, and then he saw the rolling snow. The avalanche.
"Hold on!" He landed, and grabbed the left arm of the male, and the right arm of the girl. He then flew up into the air. He struggled a little bit to stay airborne, but he managed to fly them to a safe spot, away from the falling snow. Unfortunately, he may have just flew them into more trouble, but only time would tell. He let go of their arms.
"Name's Angeal. What are two kids like you doing here?" He looked from one to the other.

Tidus was knocked back by the Mimic who used his head as a trampoline in order to get airborne. It used this distance to try an impale Tidus with a sharpened tentacle to the chest. Luckily Tidus wasn't too hurt from the head smash and as he was falling backwards, he added extra momentum and performed a back flip.
Upon landing he immediately jumped as high as he could to avoid being hit by the tentacle should it try to change its trajectory, all the while gathering energy into his Caladbolg. He stared straight into the many eyes of the mimic and swung his sword unleashing a rain of individual beams of energy straight at the mimic.
If they hit each one would ignite and explode causing a large amount of damage. And whichever ones didn't hit the mimic he was aiming for, they would rain down on the floor and deal damage to any of the other mimics that were around.

Its deathblow evaded, Mimic(4) was subjected to a face-full of Energy Rain, the rapid concussive blasts from which turned the creature into a light rain of dark-coloured goo.
Most of the shots were used up to that effort but the few remaining swerved and came down upon Mimic(5), which it didn't seem to like one bit. These things obviously didn't have such great endurance without their shells. Turning away from Enaad entirely it lashed out at Tidus, who was still in the air, with a flurry of needles fired from its body like black rain. Except they weren't needles at all, each one was just a very thinned-out arm extending the boy's way in a spread almost as large as he was.
The two still in their trunks were far enough from the action to avoid Energy rain targeting them and remained motionless.
