Dante gave a smirk as the man struck his hand out. The warrior shook it and chuckled. "Maybe. Hey, whenever you need someone to keep your back, go to a place called Destiny Islands. You'll probably find me there." The teen removed his hand from Joshua's and turned away. He began to whistle a merry tune as he walked forward and into the nothingness of the unknown.

Today was weird, he had to say, for he met a queer young man. There was barely conflict, nothing to arouse it, and now he was on his way. To where he was going, not even he knew, for nothingness was odd. He only thought about keeping his mind on the path before him and maybe he might just be somewhere.

Joshua watched Dante exit the clearing. He smiled underneath the mask. He had actually made an alliance out here in the great unknown.

"YOU'LL NEVER BE NOTHING JOSHUA IF YOU CAN'T WAKE UP TO REALITY! YOU DUMB PIECE OF FILTH! WHY DON'T YOU JUST LEAVE AND DIE A LONELY MAN!?"

"Hm," Joshua said, "I showed you, didn't I?" Just as Joshua said this, Darkness shot up around him. Joshua knew what was happening. "No! I'm not done here yet!" Joshua yelled.

"It does not matter. You are needed elsewhere."

Joshua's scream echoed away as the darkness crashed down on him like a wave and he disappeared to another world.
