How did I get here...how do I get out!? [Bilby]

"You bet I did!" came the muffled reply from under a pile of rubble. One second later said rubble burst in all directions as Chaosin erupted forth, both arms held upwards in classic triumph.

"It was a scarf! A red one! Pretty long and wide too!"

"I meant what HAD it!" the ninja clarified, false hope deflating out of her chest as a sigh. No straight answers from this one..

At least he was resilient. Did he ever get hurt by ANYTHING?

"Well, at least you know what the scarf looks like. Isn't it wonderful? I need it back..C'mon!" Shyne urged him again, swift feet carrying her off and around the corner, only to see it slip out of view at the end.

Sparky didn't follow her, but he did fall out of a second story window of the building he'd blasted into once she turned the corner, falling down right in front of her.

"Darn, almost had him that time!" he declared from his position as a street pancake.

He hadn't really, though.

"..Sparky...he was all the way at the end and around the corner..." she wheezed. This would be a sweatdrop moment...but she didn't have time to dwell on that! Hauling the pancake up, she started to drag him behind her as she ran, intent on keeping him...under something like control. At least to the point that he wasn't tossing himself out of random windows for no reason.

Swinging him around the corner, she saw the scarf and a shadowy figure nearby. "Get it!" she hollered, tossing the nobody at the fiend as she reached for her kunai to throw.

"I said almost," the Nobody had argued back initially, as if that actually held up. but either way he was quickly peeled off the road and dragged forward in pursuit again.

And then he was flung at the thief.

"Whee!" he called as he sailed through the air at the mysterious being, arms opened wide to catch it.

"That works well..." Shyne muttered, watching as both scarf and being were tackled by her Sparky-attack. Whatever was in the plain black linen cloak was smallish..and it fell under the weight of the nobody. The fluttering scarf tangled Sparky up, but the cloaked thing still had a death grip on the free end as it wriggled out from his arms and took off again at lightning speed, possibly dragging the tangled Chaosin with it.

"Noooo..No getting away!!" she groaned, throwing kunai in vain attempts to snag the robe to the ground. The fabric was too thin to be caught. The blade ripped right through. "Don't let go of it!!" she cried, under the impression that the former pavement pancake had a hold of the perpetrator.

An arm wrapped around the red scarf that was tangled about Chaosin's body and grabbed tightly. Suddenly his feet rose and then planted down hard on the street, as if bracing. The right hand that was wrapped and gripping the scarf held fats as Sparky was dragged forward but not easily, his body pose resistant.

"Have no fear, love!" the Nobody voice called back to Shyne's plea, sounding far more... "full" than usual. "This villainous cur shall not escape the swift hand of justice for their act of thievery!"

"Darn right, Eldin! Get him! But wait for me this time, will yo--"

A pang to the heart...

Shyne placed a hand over her heart as she ran, grimacing a little. That voice, those words! Her automatic response..it was the pesky, yet somehow needed GHOSTY. This weird thing kept happening with Sparky, and maybe she WAS going mad. Oh well, she'd at least go mad happy. Then she'd REALLY get along with her new friend.

"No fear!" she called with a smile, pouring on the speed now that the person or whatever was slowed down. Powerful legs launched her into the air, allowing the ninja to tackle the cloaked robber to the ground, the scarf falling free into Sparky's hands.

Sparky fell backward and rolled, ending up landing right on his feet with the scarf draped in both his froward-held arms.

"Excellent teamwork, partner!" he declared with inspirational enthusiasm. "The cornerstone of all great triumphs!"

Shyne struggled to hold what she was now certain was a humanoid body to the ground, though it struggled under her. For a moment it was like she was trying to ride a bucking...alligator. "I know right? Teamwork is what we do best!" she replied, responses still habit. It was just so eerie. "We will always Triumph over the dark hand of evil, even when it is thievery.

She yanking the being up, seeing a scowling mouth and some long strands of light purple hair beneath the big hood. Whoever it was, they seemed to be young, since they were still a bit short. Seemed strong though. "Let go...I'll get that scarf." it growled through a smirk, and suddenly a dark portal like the one Shyne had fell into to get here appeared and the cloak ripped from her hands and disappeared inside. "Noo! what about Justification? Punishment?" she asked. Yes, she had the scarf...but...

Sighing, she turned to Sparky. "Thanks...isn't it soft? You remind me od someone when you have it."

"Justification and punishment shall be served!" yelled a heroic voice before Shyne could actually turn back towards Sparky. She was suddenly caught by an arm around her back and pulled forward. Apparently Chaosin was a lot better at doing that energy thrust thing now too because he was flying forward quite well with beams shooting out of his back for momentum.

Together they flew into the portal before it closed, to destinations unknown.

"Eh--WAAAH~" Not another portal! Clinging to the scarf as if it was her lifeline, she also clinged to him and closed her eyes. Yes, she closed her eyes. Shyne was not fancying portals. They were...wavy and dark and all warped.

It actually took her until they were a good way into the portal to get what he'd actually said. They were going after the thief. They didn't know where he went but now they were haphazardly soaring into a dark portal of...bleh to try and serve justification and punishment. "Sparky, do you know where we are heading?" she asked with a shaky voice, eyes shut tight.

The Princess Ninja was afraid of traveling this way. Gummmiii shiiiips....

"It doesn't matter love," he said, voice as steady as a rock and brimming with self-confidence. He was still Sparky, but... now it was like he was more than that too. "There's nothing we can't overcome together so long as we are following the sure hand of righteousness!"

And as if on cue with that note they burst into light. Their new destination...

The same world. Only now they were on a rooftop. Chaosin skidded to a halt, holding Shyne close to him as she held him, but eyes wide open and looking left and right for their thief.

Feeling solid ground, she peeked open an eye. Rain splashed into her eye through her eyelashes. This same miserable world! The dark dampness was like a curse! Well, except it was better than that portal.

"Not to state the obvious, but we're still...here."

Opening both eyes and looking to and fro, she saw nothing. Nothing but neon and rain. "Were we supposed to end up here?" she asked, only to see a dark object leaping across the rooftop across from them.

"Has the prey of truth and honesty fled into the shadows of lies for safety?" Sparky mused, as if to himself. "Very well. But it shall not protect them forever. Only until the spear of goodness pierces all darkness with light. Now then..."

The Nobody took a few steps back and then turned towards the princess. He removed the scarf from around himself and knelt down before her, holding it toward the girl.

"I believe I promised to return this to you love," he said with a happy smile.
