Already having caused quite a panic to the populace of Twilight Town for a few terrifying minutes, a huge three-story grey beast in the shape of a demonic dragon now flapped its way to the edge of town, leaving a mysterious grey dust to fall slowly to the street and infect anyone it contacted with mysterious symptoms of illness. As it flew the dragon's mouth glowed with increasing intensity as darkness within was refined into more and more concentrated light blue energy. Enough now to level several city blocks at once if released into the open world.
And apparently that was about to happen.
The creature named Bahamut SIN only in the mind of its creator reached the edge of Twilight Town's large market, an area filled with stores, a tram car and a hole in the wall leading to some supposedly haunted woods. The dragon hovered low with flapping dust-shedding wings and reared back its head. The energy in the beast's maw flared violently. At any moment this peaceful burg may be reduced to a hollow shell of its former self.
And only at this exact moment did anyone even remotely capable of doing so get close enough to try to prevent it.

Riku had only been in this world for a few seconds and now there was this huge monster flying over the town and was on the verge of destroying it. There was no time to warn the townsfolk or figure out a way to get everyone to safety. Riku could do only one thing and that was stop this monster at all costs.
A nearby tram car was making its way past Riku going in the same circular path it had always gone. Riku jumped as high as he could then performed a mid air front flip, landing on the roof of the small orange car. It took him in the direction of where the monster was before it suddenly stopped right as it was about to go under the small tunnel.
Riku jumped off landing on the rooftop of the tunnel. He stared at Bahamut who was beginning to charge for an attack. Rikus hand also began to gather energy but a much more darker colored form. He quickly fired a fury of black and blue flames in the direction of Bahamuts face, hopefully preventing it from firing the energy blast.

((Take 3))
Joshua was pacing throughout the Twilight Town marketplace. He watched quietly as the inhabitants of the peaceful city walked from stand to stand blissfully. They had no idea of any other problems throughout the rest of the world. Joshua picked up an apple and juggled it around in his hand. He saw the shopkeeper giving him an angry look and Joshua dropped it back into the barrel. It suddenly got a lot darker in the marketplace. Darker and a little more chaotic.
A large creature was gliding slowly over the city. A strange dust fell from its wings. Joshua silently thanked his mask. It blocked any of the dust from entering his lungs. Joshua watched as the citizens screamed and ran. Some fell to the ground with some kind of strange symptoms that the dust gave off. Joshua groaned as he realized he should do something. He watched another white haired man also take action. He liked that idea, but unfortunately could not pull it off with his lack of abilities.
Joshua saw one of the taller buildings in the marketplace. He ran towards it and slammed through the door, sending the splinters of wood flying in at its inhabitants. The resident of the building was screaming at Joshua, but Joshua didn't listen to what the man was yelling. He just looked for the stairs and ran up them. He ran all the way up to the upper third floor. He could just see the creature's wings out the window. Joshua stood back and then ran at the window, continuously building momentum.
Joshua clenched his fists, releasing his Tri-Claws in each hand. Joshua was able to grab onto the strangely shaped wing of the creature and pull himself up. He ran along the wing and eventually got to the very oddly shaped body. While carefully watching his step, he made his way toward the neck of the creature. He found a soft spot that was not protected by the exoskeleton so that the creature could move. Joshua brought his arms up and slammed his claws into the creature's neck, ready for any kind of retaliation.
((I'm assuming that the odd shape of the Bahamut is actually an exoskeleton. That's what it looks like at least. If I'm wrong, just lemme know.))

On the other side of the towns wall where a abandoned mansion lay, Tidus was standing atop the mansions roof staring up at the great beast that had arrived. Whatever this thing was, it wasn't here for everyone's enjoyment. He could already hear the screams of terror coming from the citizens of Twilight Town as they tried to flee the area, but they were soon silenced by the mysterious dust that came from the monsters wings.
Tidus knew it was up to him to stop this thing from destroying this quiet little town. He threw his Blitz ball into the air, where it was then surrounded by a bright blue and green aura. He himself was surrounded by a blue and white aura which increased his speed and attack by 3X. He knew what his target was, the monsters jaw. He jumped up and put his entire force into one swift kick sending the Blitz Ball flying towards the Bahamut. The speed and bright glow made it appear as though a comet was shot straight at the monster.

Riku's barrage of Dark Auras seemed to do very little at a glance to the dragon. It did flinch slightly from the small bursts so they were probably hurting it, but so intense was the energy it had built up in its maw that none of the shots had individual power enough to disrupt it.
Another person had jumped on to its wing and attempted to crawl to its neck for a damaging attack(Its not an exoskeleton, really. It is a tough hide though). Feeling this possible interference Bahamut SIN simply started flapping harder and gained a bit of height. It only lasted for a few flaps, but Joshua would have to simply hold on tight and not move if he wanted to avoid getting thrown hard into the ground. He wouldn't be reaching the neck in time to stop it.
Tidus' Blitzball, on the other hand, was another story to these examples. It had both the power it needed and the speed to reach its goal. The correct goal at that, for slamming hard into the creature's jaw caused the dragon's aim to be thrown off right at the point of firing. A massive Petaflare of burning blue energy that was easily the size of Bahamut SIN's entire body once it got out blasted off at a slightly inclined angle, just skimming over Twilight Town before crashing into a mountain in the distance some seconds later. It left a scar on the landscape there easily the size of several city blocks.
The dragon's wings slowed in their flapping and its feet touched earth. The summon fell forward on to its arms as if four-legged and roared at nothing in particular. Apparently, it wasn't pleased.

((I'll post since no one else will))
Joshua had it all played out in his head. However, it didn't go as planned. Once Joshua had gotten to the main torso of the Bahamut, he saw the wings begin flapping. He silently cursed as he looked around at the creature's deformities shooting out of its back. Joshua gripped on tightly as he felt his stomach leave when it shouldn't have. Joshua knew that whatever the Bahamut was preparing to attack with was ready, but just when he thought it was all over, he felt something hit the creature. The attack was blown off course.
Joshua felt the Bahamut suddenly drop out of the sky and land on the ground. Joshua fell with it to absorbe the impact and not have his legs broken. He stood up and shook his head, and ran at his original target, the back of the neck where there should have been many nerve endings that wouldn't make the Bahamut very happy if they were stabbed. Joshua clenched his fists and stabbed down into the flesh.

Whatever that comet looking attack was, it did the trick. Bahamut missed its target and Twilight Town was safe for the moment. Once it landed on the floor Riku knew that they had to take it down even sooner since it was now within an arms grasp of the buildings. But at least now it was close enough for Riku to attack it with his Keyblade. Riku jumped off the rooftop and ran straight for Bahamut.
It roared in anger which gave Riku a chance to fire another blast of darkness at it. He held out both hands this time moving them forward and backwards rapidly firing another continuous blast of dark flames, aiming directly at Bahamuts open mouth.

[Sorry for the HUGE delay, computer problems and not knowing it was my turn caused me to reply so late.]
His attack worked flawlessly, the Blitz ball hit its target and caused the blast to misfire. Thankfully the blast only hit a hill where there were no casualties. "Yeah!!" Tidus cheered, as he fell back down he grabbed a tree branch and flung himself over and landed on another branch. He looked back and saw the beast had now landed on the ground.
Looks like this thing wasn't going down without a fight. It didn't matter, Destiny Islands best and strongest warrior was here to prevent Bahamut from destroying this place. Tidus jumped off the branch like a diving board and landed on another one, jumping from branch to branch until he reached the wall that separated the town from the forest. He looked around for the big hole in the wall where he had come from. Once he spotted it Tidus jumped down and ran to the hole.
When he got to the other side he saw a rain of darkness going straight for the monsters face. That was when he saw someone very familiar. "Riku? Is that him?" And sure enough it was. Tidus hadn't seen that guy in forever, what was he doing here? Tidus held out his hand and caught his Blitz ball. Tidus smiled and flicked his nose, "He ain't getting all the glory for this one." He raced to where Riku was at full speed pulling his sword out to join the battle once more.

There was a brightly coloured display of fireworks in the middle of the market as Riku's blue-coloured Dark Auras firing at rapid speed were met with a similarly-coloured energy coming from exactly what he'd aimed at: The dragon's mouth. It seemed Bahamut SIN didn't need to keep charging up its deadly breath if it didn't want to and instead let spew many smaller flares to jab into the incoming barrage. There was little aim involved, just numbers, so many of the small streaks flew past and just put small dents into the walls or streets that they hit. None seemed especially powerful but there were plenty of them. If the pace kept Riku's would just get pushed back completely to him by the volume.
But then something stabbed the monster in the back of the neck. It didn't really penetrate the flesh but the summon still didn't seem to like that in the least. Bahamut SIN's smaller Petaflares ceased immediately and it reared back suddenly. Riku's still-firing Dark Aura's landed blows on its chest until the dragon's right wing swept over in front to shield that area. At the same time it was getting more up on its hind legs as its left arm reached towards the back of its neck to grab at the trespasser.
