Prythian frowned. "Gave himself up into nothingness... He has become a Nobody. 'Those without hearts.' They are the result of a strong-hearted and strong-willed person becoming a Heartless, usually, though I suppose willingly losing yourself would do the same time. They typically cannot feel emotions, though they pretend to. Is he the great danger that you alluded to earlier?" He looked at Frog quizzically.

"A Nobody?" Frog questioned. This Heartless business about hearts given in to the darkness was one thing, now there was more? What a strange place the universe was. "I do not know if this power has truly become what you say. All I know is that it is my duty to find it and eliminate it for good. For the sake of a fallen comrade."
Frog's yellow eyes closed again as the water returned to his maw for another gulp. The sense of responsibility he felt was practically tangible.

"If he truly has become a Nobody, he may be more powerful than you previously knew him as." Prythian warned Frog. "Nobodies possess strange powers, and one with great power before becoming one may have even greater strength now. However, let us set this subject aside for now. Please, tell me more about your world." He ate some of his food, waiting.

Frog smiled at the request. He seemed to find it amusing, like an inside joke. 'Of which one to tell?' he thought. Right now he was in the "Present Time" of 1000 AD. That was Crono's home time. Frog's was 400 years in the past.
"I serve a longstanding Kingdom," he said finally, deciding to go with what seemed true enough for both. "A long conflict with a dangerous race has finally ended and we are at peace again now all across the world."
He looked Prythian square in the eyes as the man ate and continued. "I can not allow that peace to be so easily broken, even if can not last forever." Frog could not say 'quickly' broken though. Four centuries of peace was an impressive stretch.

"I see. I suppose before I can explain the social structure of my world, I must ask you. Who is the dominant race on your world? On most worlds I've traveled, it has almost always been the humans. It is crucial to my explanation for you to know that this is not the case on my world." Prythian said. "As for peace... ah, so hard won, so easily broken. Worth it in most cases, though, and perhaps the true value of it is in the winning."

"Our victories over the others have won the honour of survival for mankind throughout my world's history," Glenn said, having actually taken part in most of the struggles of the past future and present himself. Be it Reptites, Fiends or even man-made robots, he and his allies had fought for what they believed to be the just cause, even when one of them had to go against their own kind. "But it would not be prudent to say humans rule any other race. Our kingdoms have never been so headstrong as to trespass on that principle, only to defend our own survival. Even those we defeated in the war I spoke of still go on in their own methods. At the present time relations between them and the humans are often hospitable, except in some cases."

"That is interesting." Prythian murmured. "The humans on your world are wiser than most. On my world... there are those that all races defer to. I suppose in a way that these two races are only dominant in the sense that we defer to them. How could we not? They are connected to the world in a way we can only imagine." He sat for a moment, trying to phrase things properly.
"The most powerful of all the races, and the leaders of Druthisrael, are the dragons." He said finally. "There are not many of them, but each of them is a Sage: powerful magic users that takes it upon themselves to guide the world. Each one oversees an area, I suppose you'd say, of natural forces. The most powerful of these is the oldest of dragons, and leader of the Council of Sages. His name, similar to the world's name, is Tuthisrael. He is also known as the Sage of Balance. He seeks to keep the world from unbalancing itself into destruction."
"The important thing to remember about the dragons is that every dragon has a deep connection to the land. As the world sickens, so do they. As they sicken, so does the world. In a way, I suppose you could say they are the world incarnate."

"That is a fascinating phenomenon," Frog said after another drink. It was fairly easy for him to imagine this being true, but for only sad reasons. The parasite Lavos had formed a connection to his world as well, feeding on it and killing it. Thankfully that threat had been eliminated by his own hands and the hands of his closest comrades. "I too have experienced a great Entity's will guiding our planet in my life, though their presence is not so obvious as these dragons you describe."

"Perhaps our worlds are more similar than I thought." Prythian said in mild surprise. "Second only to the dragons, there is a more immediate race we defer to, however. The dragons stay on an island in the middle of the ocean, nearly unreachable, unless they must do something outside of it. However... the ones we respect daily are the Dryads."
"They are tree spirits, I suppose you could call them. They are bound to their trees; if a Dryad's tree dies, it dies, and vice versa. They take a hand in guiding and preserving nature... most specifically from us humans. I learned at a very young age to take firewood only if it was a dead branch on the ground, and to never bring fire nor axe into any of the great Forests which cover most of our world. All who are foolish enough to do so face the wrath of the Dryads, which turn the very plants and animals against them."

"Your world must thrive in natural splendor," Glenn said a she imagined the sight of the rich jungles back in Prehistory times. Even back then though humans used wood for their homes, their tools and for fire. Never was it left totally untouched. "All sentient races of my land use the world's resources to sustain themselves at no such threat. But we also work very hard to restore what we use, when done right."
Frog seemed happy at that statement, making it ring of truth. He was thinking of the barren lands south of Guardia in his time that were now in the present the grand place known as Fiona's Forest thanks to its namesake's and his ageless robot friend's hard work.
"If I am to search the worlds for what I seek I must not allow any possibilities to surprise me, it would seem."

"There are very few things which do not exist in some form or another in this universe." Prythian agreed. "That is a conclusion I came to many years ago, only a few years after I began traveling." He fell silent for a moment. "I have actually been traveling the worlds for longer than I lived on my home world. I must admit I wonder what it would've been like if I'd been able to live out my life at my home, but the opportunity was not one I had."

"Then forgive me for saying that I do not wish for my future tales to be too much more similar to your own, Prythian, for I have much waiting for me once my task is complete."
The amphibian knight brought his glass to his mouth and ended the last drops. He felt much more refreshed now.
"In your travels have you found many places where people often gather from abroad? If I am to locate my quarry then I will need to look from as many places as possible, as quickly as I might."

"Ah, yes. There are several places. I can tell you three that are not a far distance to travel. There is a town known as Traverse Town. Oftentimes those whose worlds are lost find themselves there, and because of this occurrence, a town was built to house them." Prythian said. "Then there is another town known as Twilight Town; I do not know its history. However, the most likely place to look would be Radiant Garden, previously known as Hollow Bastion."
He gave Frog directions on how to reach Radiant Garden. "It is an actual kingdom, though no king rules it currently. There you should find either your quarry or those that have met your quarry, for many people pass through Radiant Garden."

"It certainly sounds like a place worth seeing," Frog answered. The name of Radiant Garden seemed to have placed a certain impression upon the knight. "Though for a Kingdom to have no ruler... I do hope I will not have to contend with a gallery of rogues to find the information I seek."

"While I haven't met them myself, I have heard it said that the current leaders of Radiant Garden are good people, merely seeking to protect the town. In a way, there isn't any real ruling, but instead a protection. Much like knights, only without a king." Prythian explained. "I am sure that you will not find any trouble."
