A dangerous Journey

"A walk is fine as well. Let's go." she smiled, waving at the two absently as she turned to lead him away. She knew she and Sadao wouldn't be missed, so she didn't have to worry about hurt feelings. "..Darkness? I wonder why you were in the darkness, cold and alone. That doesn't seem like a place someone as nice as you would be...but then again, memories hide many things, I believe. Who knows what mine hold...though mine are only missing the first few years of my life. That's not as drastic as your case..."

Really, she couldn't attempt to understand total amnesia up to the present moment of life would be like. It wasn't like she really cared about her lost memories, not was she looking for them, but the fact was they weren't there.

"A white castle? I think there is one being rebuilt here. Well, it looked white in places to me." she smiled gently. "As for the guy, I don't know much about anyone. I'm only a traveler."

Sadao felt great inside as he walked with Lydia. This was strange to Sadao seeing as he had lost all of his memories. Finding someone that made him happy would help him out later on. Sadao continued to walk with Lydia, looking up at the sky. "Yea. It feels really sad not knowing who I am, why I'm here, or what I'm supposed to be doing, but as long as I'm alive, then everything will be okay. As for the castle you are talking about, i believe that is it." He pointed to a castle that was showing above the rooftops. "I can tell that it is not the right castle. If it was, something would be happening right now. Whenever i try to remember anything, intense pain overwhelms me. If it was the right castle, I'd be on the ground in pain right now." Sadao then got an idea. He was going to go and begin a search to find out about who he was, and about what happened at the mysterious white castle soon. He also knew that his knew friend, which he has taken a liking to, also had memory problems, though not as bad. He wondered if Lydia would like to accompany him on a journey to different planets. Hey, Lydia. I have a question for you. I'm going to set off soon in order to find out about my mising past. I'm probably going to head to different worlds to gather information, which will probably become dangerous. I don't want to see you get hurt, but I was wondering if you would like to join me. Maybe we could find out about your missing memories as well. What do you say?

Pain when he tried to remember? That didn't sound good. Lydia found herself frowning slightly at that part, not liking the sound of that at all. Sadao seemed far too nice to be in such pain.

His next point sounded like a wonderful idea! Her face lit up after the moment of thoughtful scowling, her eyes sparking as she looked over to him. Traveling with a buddy would be fun! And he actually had a purpose for his wanderings, opposed to her. It would be like an adventure! She would like to help him. And the danger element just spiced it up.

"Join you? Well, I'll probably be heading the same ways as you anyway, traveling with you would be killing two birds with one stone." she giggled brightly, only to have Curdling squawk in protest to her anaolgy, giving her head a non-injuring peck on the side of the head. "Ow..Er, I mean, killing two rhinoceroses..." she corrected herself for the bird's sake. He settled.

"In any case, I would love to!"

Sadao was filled with excitement when Lydia agreed to accompany him on his journey. he was so excited, that he had almost forgotten the most important thing of all. How to get around. You're really sweet. There is but one problem. I have no idea how to get around from world to world. I was able to get here through a tunnel in the darkness, but i don't know if i can open it again. Just then, sadao looked down, and saw his white glove on his hand. The Nobody Symbol on it went through his mind, and images started to flash through his head.


A person in a black cloak; a white room with different people in black outfits; hite creatures moving about; a rainy city; a close up of the hood of a cloaked figure. This image zooms into the covered face under the hood, creating a completely black scene. The word "Nobody appears, then the image disappears, and the mysterious man from Sadao's other memory appears, appearing to be talking to him. "Nobodies do not exist, but they are still there. They have no feelings, though act as they do. They are no different than you and me, except they have no hearts or emotions. They also have strange elemental abilities that can be dangerous to others. Their symbol is similar to a deformed upside-down heartless symbol. Be careful when dealing with Nobodies." The scene blurs away, leaving Sadao to his thoughts.

Sadao, who is clutching his head in pain and kneeling on the ground, gets up, and shows the gloved hand to Lydia. Do you know anything about this symbol?

When he looked up, he met the worried blue eyes of Lydia, followed by an equally worried face. She hadn't had time to comment on their mode of transportation. She could most likely teleport them. That's how she'd been getting around...

She was biting her bottom lip gently in her fretfulness. Good thing he'd warned her of the pain that came with memories, else she'd surely have started to freak out a little. In any case, she'd let Curdling fly around in the sky for now while she tended to what had seemed to be a comatose person in pain that she couldn't rouse from his memories.

"Are you okay?"

After helping him up, she looked down to his gloves, blinking a few times. "Uh..Well, I've seen it before. Not too many times, but I believe it's the symbol for..Oh..what were they called?" she asked herself, her expression turning effortly thoughtful. "Oh!" she exclaimed, remembering with a start. "Something called Nobodies."

Sadao's eyes got wide after she said that it was the Nobody symbol. He got up quickly, shaking it a little. "I-i-i'm fine. I thought i remembered something for a moment. Anyway, i think i can get us out of here." Sadao put his hand with the glove on it in front of him. He concentrated on the symbol, thinking of the thoughts that went through his head. He then thought of the portal he came through before, and concentrated hard on that. Just then, a black portal opened up, though it drained Sadao of alot of energy. "heh. I opened up a portal to somewhere new. I will warn you though that I do not know which world we will end up in, and once we step through, the real danger starts. Will you still come?" Sadao put out his hand as a sign of trust. He was hoping that she wiould still agree to go.

"Danger? Of course I'll still come. Bring it on." she said softly, trustingly taking his hand. "We can handle it, I'm sure." she added, if not only to reassure him. He seemed shook up and now a little tired. She was actually excited. The mystery of not knowing where they'd end up was right up her alley. Not able to remember anything before Halloween Town, when she teleported it was also a surprise like this.

She looked over the black portal. It was different than her method, but she didn't mind. Tugging his hand of trust with her, she lead him forward, beginning to step into the portal.

Curdling, miffed that Lydia seemed to forget about him, swooped low with a screech and landed on her shoulder, red eyes staring down Sadao then the portal itself. He liked dark places, so he was rather pleased.

Sadao smiled as Lydia pulled him into the portal. As he stepped through, the portal closed. The streets of Radiant Garden fell silent once more, now that Sadao and Lydia were gone. A new adventure was now starting, and events that could change the lives of many people has now begun.
