On a blue cliff far and above the limits of a small isolated town sat a young silver-haired boy on a dark green motorcycle. With green eyes full of unknown thoughts he smiled darkly at the place called Radiant Garden and its hollow castle.
'This is the world we've been looking for, Mother,' the teenager thought to himself, yearning for a clear answer yet getting only the usual. It would not be fair to call it silence. Of all his family Kadja was the one who could listen for Mother's desires and understand her will... yet even he could not hear her voice. Not until they had done as she needed of them.
At the sound of a motor behind him Kadaj's silver bangs flicked to the right as his head turned. His smiled turned slightly warmer at the sight of the older man riding up next to him.
"You're late, Loz," he said with sibling mockery. "Did you get caught up 'playing' on other worlds again?"

”Humph,” the large man answered as his own rusty green motorcycle pulled up next to Kadaj’s. The last world he visited wasn’t much ‘fun’, though it wasn’t much delight for the citizens of that world either. This world looked far better compared to the last one. The game would be far better here, where Mother had directed them. “I wasn’t playing.” Closing his eyes, Loz let out a defeated sigh. He couldn't play if those people didn't want to play with him. “Yazoo’s not here either. He’s later than me.”
Opening his eyes again, the man glanced down at the crumbled castle and the small, noticeably busy town at its edge. The look of defeat was instantly swiped from his boorish features.
“Mother said it’d be there, right, Kadaj?” Glancing at Kadaj, Loz, the eldest brother, smirked. He was huge compared to his little brother, who was slim and athletic. Loz himself looked like a body builder, with thick shoulders and knots of muscles on his arms and legs. The only thing that might imply their shared genes was the silver hair and the cat-like green eyes.
“They’ll play with me?” Grinning, Loz clutched the throttle of his motorcycle, letting his wheel roar while it spun wildly in place, showing his excitement. “Let’s go, Kadaj.”

"Don't get too excited Loz," Kadaj scolded his sibling before looking back at the castle again. "Or else you might ruin the chance we've been waiting for."
Kadaj swept his left leg over and off the bike, allowing him to sit facing directly towards the other visitor. Unlike his brother not only in build, while one revved up to go he was quite settled into place.
"It is certainly here," he said, opening his green eyes with excitement again. "However, so is Yazoo I'm afraid." Kadaj chuckled at Loz's expense for that one. "He is walking around in town now, nothing but another traveler to them. We will need him to report on the state of things down there before we make our move."

Loz released the throttle, his large bike jumping slightly from the sudden pause in the rev. The man gave another defeated sigh, his good mood trampled by his brother’s words. The purple dust settled around the bike, and the man brushed specks of it off of his leather suit, disgruntled by the prospect of waiting. Waiting is such a bore. Crossing his arms, Loz lowered his head, his eyebrows scrunching up to contain tears of frustration. He’s been waiting for so long! And now Yazoo gets to have all the fun first [even though Kadaj clearly stated that Yazoo was merely performing a scouting mission] and he would have to sit here and wait until the other brother finishes strolling around the town.
“What are we waiting for, Kadaj?” Loz’s deep voice wavered, and traces of whining could be detected in his tone. He bit his lips before ducking his head further. Kadaj was just going to make fun of him if he started crying. But he wanted to go now…
“What is this chance we're waiting for?” Closing his eyes, Loz leaned his head back and repeated his question.

"This world isn't like the others, brother. It has... strength. Enough to resist a direct intrusion. Not enough to stop us, of course," he added with a confident grin and a glance at his brother's powerful body. "But what we seek is easily lost if we play around here too much."
Kadaj pushed off of he parked cycle and walked over to stand at the edge of the cliff. Both of his arms opened up and spread wide at the sight of the town and the unknown treasure contained within.
"On this world, Loz, is what Mother needs to wake up again! She will finally be with us if we can only grasp it..."
Kadaj's left hand had ascended above him as his right lowered to his side. As he spoke his words his hand clutched at the air, finding it as resistant to stay in his grip as had the chance to bring his Mother back been until now. After this he turned and, smiling like he were the older of the two, spoke simply but seriously to Loz.
"And manage not to break it."

Loz stared at his brother, looking like a fascinated child—or as fascinated as a big muscular man can look. His impatience casted aside, the immature elder brother nodded at Kadaj, excitement stirring in the pit of his stomach. No more of this waiting, plotting, and calculating. Their moment had come! All they had worked for had finally built up to this world, which would grant the three brothers their greatest goal.
“Mother will finally be with us again,” Loz gripped his hand, imitating Kadaj’s action with an oafish grin. Now he was more impatient than ever. But he would endure it, for Mother’s sake. Loz winced as Kadaj spoke to him, cautioning him to restrain his bull-like behavior on this mission. If somehow, his usual self managed to hurt Mother’s recovery today…the eldest brother could feel the pressure of tears building up behind his green eyes just at the thought. Shaking his head, he brushed the thought away.
“If only Yazoo would hurry up,” Loz glanced at the town. The prospect of reviving Mother, and the fact that these people might actually be some fun to play with gnawed at Loz’s thin patience.

Kadaj led his two elder brothers for various reasons. His superior ability... his genius mind... being able to hear Mother's will was chief among them. But just below the obvious was another reason: Kadaj was no fool. He knew well how his siblings thought and not to feed Loz any more important tidbits. A little bit and Mother's name was enough for the brute to restrain himself. Too much and he'd fly off half-cocked to wipe out the resistance before they could even try to get in the way.
"It won't be much longer now, brother," Kadaj assured the man. "No need to cry."
With the familliar taunt to get Loz's mind off of raiding the town Kadaj walked gently back to his ride and sat on it side-ways once again, arms crossed.
'There is something else here,' the boy thought privately, his face remaining static to hide it. 'Something... familliar.'

"Ugh..." Loz growled irritably after several long and agonizing minutes of waiting. How long has it been? Thirty minutes? An hour? A day? A day might have been exaggerating, but an hour or more might have been accurate. Anyway, Yazoo's taken up enough of Loz's precious play time.
"Yazoo's taking way too long just to scout out this tiny place," the eldest brother muttered in a gruff voice. Loz could have taken down the town in this time. Grumbling, Loz leaned his forehead against the dashboard of his rusty green motorcycle, running his fingers through his short cropped silver hair, groaning and gripping all in the meanwhile. "Do we really have to wait, Kadaj?"

A long lithe figure made it's way along the road. Long silver hair danced in the mild breeze, and the casual elegance of his movement gave the figure away instantly to his brothers. It was Yazoo, returning from his little foray into the town. The jade motorcycle slowed down, rumbling loudly, and his eyes focused on the two as if just realizing they were there, and his arms gingerly folded outward to either side. With palms facing upward it was a gesture of sarcastic innocence, as if to say 'No officer, i had no idea that was a school zone. I swear the elderly man walked out in front of me.'
"Hello brothers." He said with a voice that was empty of even emptiness. Yet somehow he managed to make it sound as surprise. "Have you been waiting long?" He asked with a voice that oozed the utmost politeness, but had an arrogant undertone that relished being waited upon. It was scary how close he could sound to Elder Brother. But despite this, the most obvious emotion emanating from him was excitement. All other feelings could be forgiven, simply because they were lesser in comparison to how he looked forward to the culmination of their plans.

Kadaj would have smiled like a real sibling at Yazoo for no other reason than his oldest brother was being almost directly baited for his characteristic impatience, but now was not that time. Instead he smiled like a tactician about to gather the very last intelligence he needed to perfect a master strategy.
"Not at all," he said first, ignoring the still-recent pines from Loz as evidence to the contrary. "Was there anything to find, Yazoo?"
The middle child had gone in to scout the town as a normal world traveler with two simple directions. The first to look for any place within the borders of the town that was under any special guard or protection besides the castle. The second to gauge how many people currently in town he could notice that actually seemed capable of resisting them if they needed to use force today.

At the sound of roaring motor, Loz lifted his head and grinned.
Scoffing, Loz sat up straight once again, impatient to get on the way. Judging by the way the two are smiling and talking wittily, it seems his two brothers was content on waltzing their time away and wearing down Loz’s thinning patience. While the two grinned and exchanged words, Loz’s grin turned upside down. He pouted and ground his teeth, all the while clenching and unclenching the throttle of the motorcycle.
“About time you came back,” Loz muttered, rebutting Kadaj’s words.
Like a mad dog, all he needed was one command, and off he’ll go. Loz needed only to wait just a bit longer though. Besides, Yazoo had valuable information to offer, despite how long he took to gather report for the other two. Even the elder brother, who’s a bit slow, had enough sense to sit and wait for report on their surrounding before speeding off.

Yazoo took his sweet time as always. First he had to flip out his hair, then fold his arms across his chest just so, and lean back. His eyes flitted from one brother to the other, and he smirked softly. Finally he decided to just get it over and done with. "There was a lab..." Was how he began as he recounted his ventures through Radiant Garden, and ended on the note. "... But there wasn't anyone we couldn't defeat." Coming from Yazoo there was a certain amount of bias. He believed that all subjects were inferior, with no chance of winning.
"Awww..." He cooed as Loz whined. "Loz. You look as if you're about to run off when I've only just returned. Why don't we stay here and chat a while?" His voice mocked Loz's impatience deeply, but the bluff was all his own. He was just as excited to go as his impatient older brother.

Kadaj took in every detail of the town according to Yazoo's report. They could see the basic structure from here(One brother better than the others) but figuring out what exactly Mother needed from this world was top priority. The laboratory Yazoo described as hearing some rumours of seemed to trigger a sense of familiarity within the youngest sibling's mind. Mother's voice seemed to recognize it. But there was more still hidden in this Radiant Garden, of that he was sure.
"Another time, brother. Let's take a closer look at this castle of theirs," Kadaj said simply, slipping into a seated position on his cycle and backing it away from the edge of the cliff. His brothers would doubtlessly comply and be quick to follow him so that the three were riding along the canyons outside the town limits, circling around towards the castle.
As they traveled a beam of light suddenly shot down into the town, clearly visible and its origin unknown.

All Loz could do as Yazoo teased him was to give him a strange combination of disgust, unhappiness, and childish glower. Other than that, Loz couldn’t quite return with a snappy response. Not that he was allowed to anyway if he did have anything to say back to his younger brother. Kadaj had signaled for them to move out. Though the prospect that there was no one in the town to really play with Loz was disappointing, the mere fact that they were actually finally going to start their invasion was exciting enough.
“Heh.” Jamming on his throttle, Loz moved out with his two brothers, following behind Kadaj at a close pace.
Towards the castle they went, when suddenly a large glow shot down from out of nowhere at the castle, startling Loz out of his little paradise fantasy of reunion. Slamming to a stop, Loz stared at the light in awe. It seemed like something dangerous, not very high on Loz’s fun list, unfortunately.
“What do you think that is, brother?”

Yazoo smiled, a glazed over look in his eyes as he delighted in Loz's frustration. Yet despite the delight there were more pressing matters at hand. He gave the barest of nods, consenting to leave family time for another day. Soon enough they would be with mother, and with things finally building as they were there was no reason to slow down now.
The sudden stop by Loz was a bit of a disappointment, he thought while they continued onward. After a few moments he stopped too, looking back to his older brother. "I think it means someone strong wants to play, Loz." He coaxed with the sincerest of offers. The reunion would come, and he didn't want to have to wait around for his brother. His eyes turned up to the light streaking across the sky. Even so, it wasn't something he wanted to be too concerned with if he could avoid it.
