Kadaj looked off to the side to see the light fading away. He did not know what it was... Mother's voice offered him no sense of understanding it.
"If we are lucky, perhaps it is something that will distract the local heroes," Kadaj said, emphasizing the last word mockingly. "There shouldn't be anything too valuable down there. You can go play if you really want to, Loz."
The youngest brother chuckled under his breath as he joined in goading the eldest, but it wasn't too long before something else stole away his attention. The beam of light flared up again and then came down somewhere new. This time... at the castle. The swordsman's eyes widened in shock. He didn't know what the light was. He didn't know if it was good or bad. He didn't know if it was the locals or an outsider like himself... but Mother's voice led him to believe that these lights were not natural around here and if they weren't natural and they were taking place where they wanted to go then what Mother needed might be at risk!
"Mother!" the boy hissed before hitting the accelerator even harder than before, The motorcycle sped forward across the rocks even more recklessly than before, with or without Loz and Yazoo following.

“Hmph…” Loz once again slammed the throttle, catching up to his brothers, who had not bothered to stop and look at the light as he had done. A strange prickling struck his spine, but he paid it no heed, wanting no further teasing from his younger brothers. The ominous light posed only as a minor distraction as he returned his mind to the reunion. And perhaps, Yazoo was right, there will be someone to play with Loz this time, someone who won’t buckle under his demanding roughhousing.
Before Loz could catch up to the two, another light struck, this time at the towering castle in the distance. Their destination. Loz didn’t bother to stop this time, seeing his youngest brother suddenly entered an urgent speed, already way ahead of them in a matter of seconds. Something was wrong, and Loz wasn’t quite sure what, but their mission was in danger. Kadaj was never one to really rush things unless something was awry. Loz sped up with a grim look on his face, his motorcycle roaring and rumbling as they sped towards the castle.

Yazoo smirked as Loz began to return to the group, coaxed from his childish fear of the lights. He turned his head back to focus on what was before them; his rumbling motorcycle began to growl as it pushed forward, gaining speed. His eyes caught the light aimed for the castle, and he was just within earshot of Kadaj to hear his younger brother hiss that single word that made everything that much more important. Yazoo's regularly calm and cold facade was blown away by the snarl that now bit into his lips. Someone is threatening mother... They will have to die.
But as soon as it had come, the look melted back into stormy silence. His hair whipped back as he began to gain speed. His gaze flitted over to his brother's face. He wasn't checking to see if Loz was okay. He knew that Loz was a little nervous, maybe a little excited, probably somewhat unsure of himself. He was looking over to let Loz know that he himself was every bit as unnerved by his younger brother's behavior. A threat to mother was the gravest of all things, and Yazoo himself would willingly sacrifice his life for her reunion.
The glance was over in seconds, whether or not Loz had caught it, and Yazoo focused, staring at the castle, and the light flying towards it as he guided the motorcycle along the crags.
