A Reminder of Home(Open to all)

A door of darkness opened within the dark depths, and soon revealed the form of a young boy. The young man known only to himself as Niklas, prince of Andromeda. But again, no one would know of that, as this would probably be the first time he'd ever come to this world. He was not familiar with one that had a seemingly late sunset type of sky, as his sapphire eyes fell upon the mix of pink and orange hues in the air. Naturally, the first thing that came to the boy's mind was where he could possibly be, as he had been wandering the darkness for quite some time.

After having thought this over for a few moments, he finally shrugged it off and proceeded forward in the baron area. To find himself in nothing but a mountainous land was a bit discouraging. What if there were no inhabitants in this world? Maybe he came here only to be alone? Maybe this world's people were already swept away into darkness? Well, even with all of this in mind, there would be no way for him to find out except to venture onward and explore this place.

After passing what appeared to be ruins of an old cathedral, as well as climbing up a solid brick wall, he found himself at the foot of a stairway that seemed to lead into a small village of sorts. The village was rather...rundown, but that never stopped Niklas from exploring before. What really bothered him though, was the fact that it was nearly deserted. He couldn't find anyone except for a couple of shopkeepers here and there. So gathering up a bit of courage he finally called out. "Hello? Is anybody here?"

Somebody was there besides him and the shopkeepers, but it wasn't someone whom Nicklas would know or would like to know. Strolling his way down the streets of Radiant Garden was none other than that dastardly cat known only as Pete. He looked around at some of the shops merchandise trying to find something that would be useful for him. Once he did he played the ol "look behind you" trick getting the shop owner to look away as he snatched the item he wanted behind their backs.

Once he was at a safe distance, Pete pulled out the gold ring that he stole from the accessory shop and gave a cartoon villainous smile of a self satisfying successful steal. "He he heh, like takin' candy from a baby."

Pete placed the ring back in his pocket and continued to look around the other shops to see if there was something else he could steal. Nothing but a few staffs and shields which weren't of any value to ol' Pete. He did come across a Moogle shop that had a few synthesis items that he wanted for himself but the Moogle was a bright one and prevented him from another successful steal.

Pete grumbled to himself annoyed by the fact that he was outsmarted by a thing. He looked over at where Niklas was at.

"What are you yellin' on about, can't ya see there's people 'round here?"

Startled by the sudden grumpy shout, Niklas wheeled around with a jump, his eyes meeting what appeared to be a rather large, sinister looking...cat? This made the young prince quirk an eyebrow, as he found this sort of thing rather awkward. He'd never encountered someone...or something quite like it. At first he thought it was somebody's idea of a very awkward costume. But then he thought better of it and realized that this cat was just as real as he was.

But what caught him off guard the most was the fact that it talked! He'd never thought he'd meet such things as a talking cat before. But again the fact that this cat looked rather menacing, so he felt that he had to be on his gaurd. "S-sorry. I didn't really realize anybody else was here..." Then he remembered that this guy didn't seem to be the greatest of news, so he kept a hand behind him, ready to pull out his Senma in case he pulled something. "So...who...what exactly are you?"

He snarled at the young boy. "Whatta ya mean "what am I"? Ain't cha ever heard of tha Mighty Pete before?" Insulted by this, Pete gave a cold stare at the young boy who had no idea who Pete was.

He should have been cowering in fear, Pete was in his eyes a force to be reckoned with. Being Maleficents lackey made Pete's ego rise to a level no one had ever achieved in their entire life. A feat that most would never attempt at. But his ego aside, the fact that this kid wasn't running away or trying to offer him something of value really made Pete angry. His face became puffed up and he extended his chest by raising his stomach upwards only to have it drop back down and bounce around.

"Don't cha know your supposed ta be payin yer respects ta me. I'm the big chief of this here town and not doin' so will getcha in a whole mess of trouble."

'The Mighty Pete'? Did people really go around calling themselves 'mighty' these days? Just hearing those words echo in his mind made Niklas roll his eyes slightly in disgust. "Nope. Sorry. Can't say I have.", the young prince retorted.

Then 'Mighty' Pete began going on about how Niklas should be showing respect, and how if he didn't, he'd get into some sort of trouble. It couldn't possibly be any more troublesome than what he'd already gone through before. At least, that's what Niklas thought. The prince was about say something rather snappy, but stopped as he noticed something he hadn't before. This scent that was ing about Pete. It was a very familiar scent. One that he knew of all too well.

"You...you're with them aren't you?" At this point, Niklas knew he had to take caution with this one. "You're with the Heartless, aren't you?!", he yelled as he unsheathed his Senma.

"Why you!!" Pete snapped back after hearing those insulting words. He shook a mean fist at Niklas. Now this kid was starting to tick Pete off. It looked like Pete was gonna have to teach this kid a lesson. It was right then that Niklas called Pete out on his affiliation with the Heartless.

Pete started to laugh after seeing Niklas summon his weapon. His large belly flopped around as he did this. "Heh heh heh. Thats right kid, and if ya wanna live ta see the next day I suggest ya put away that weapon of yours."

With a snap of his fingers Pete summoned his Volcanic Lord Heartless into the field. He gave a sinister smile and began to laugh in a villainous manner.
