The begining. (Open to all)

Roth sat on a high Building that over looked some of the towns streets. He sighed as he looked up into the night sky. "Where do i start." he said as he looked off into the night. "How am i going to find Sora." he spoke as he sat up looking down, "I can't even get off of my own home planet." he said as he stood up and started to walk on the roof of the building. He walked to the end and saw how ever one was having fun, for a minute he forgot about the heartless. All he thought about was how he wanted to have peace and not think about fighting the heartless. He sat down on the edge of the house and began to stare up into the sky once again.

[Darren]

Darren had been staying at Radiant Garden for a good couple of weeks now. He’d occupied himself by doing a wide assortment of activities and job’s ever increasing his repertoire of skills. Most of the activities included doing job’s, getting to know the locals, sightseeing important or interesting places of note. However even though doing all these different tasks and jobs, he was still intent than ever to find his lover again.

It was late evening now, he wasn’t fully sure what the exact time was but he didn’t care either; it wasn’t as if he needed to see anyone, right? Walking out of the black smiths where he’d just been assisting the Smith for the last couple of days, holding his helmet between his hand and hips he sighed, taking a breath of fresh air and looking up at the sky. As he slowly began to look back down his eyes caught sight of a boy possibly no older than himself standing on a roof by himself.

He seems interesting, he thought to himself as he began to walk over to the wall and climbed up a part of a lead black drain pipe, after a little bit of effort he was now standing on top of the roof no more than seven feet away from the boy. “You alright..?” He said softly, his voice as gentle as a mid summer breeze.

Roth stood there and when he heard the voice of the other person he simply smiled and said softly, "Yea..just in a world of thinking." he said as he looked over to him. He noticed the boy was in armor and smiled. He simply said in his own soft voice. "The names Roth."he said as he looked at him.

Roth turned to the town center and saw as people were having fun and being happy. "There having fun and there at peace. I dont know what more could someone ask for." he said as he stared up to the sky. Roth was still thinking on how to get off of his world. "Do you know anyway of geting off this world?" he asked the boy behind him.

[Darren]

He stood behind the boy, his body positioned so his left side was pointing in the direction of Roth’s back. He was looking over another section of the town centre. He smiled when he heard the boy’s reply. "Yea... Just in a world of thinking." The boy said in a content tone of voice.

He nodded and grunted quietly but loud enough to show he agreed with the boy’s statement about the towns people living fun and carefree life’s, “I’d rather them have a life of happiness and security than a life of misery and chaos..” he said boldly, flexing his left arm as he spoke.

The boy went silent as if something most important dwelled on his mind. He raised an eyebrow in interest as to what the boy mentioned next, "Do you know anyway of getting off this world?" the boy’s tone changed sounding more questioning but had a pinch of hope hidden away in it. “The Names Darren... and I hear there’s numerous ways of getting off worlds and going to others...” he said quietly still watching over the town and its people.

Roth smiled when he heard the comment of Darren, He look at him and smiled. "The names Roth." he said as he walked up to Darren, "I need to look for a kid by the name of Sora..." he said as he looked at him.

The towns music was calm and relaxing. Roth looked at Darren for a berif moment. "Heartless are starting to appear more and more." he said as he looked at the town. "Its hard to defend this town."He said as he looked over again

[Darren]

"The names Roth."

He heard the boy, now known as Roth, say. “Nice to meet you Roth...” Darren said politely, still watching over the town, his eye watching over every little detail like a Hawk scanning the surface below for prey. “Sora huh..? Never heard of him” He said bluntly but turned around and looked Roth dead in the eyes “But if I ever meet someone along the name’s I’ll tell him to search for a boy called Roth...” He said smiling giving the lad a small thumbs up.

"Heartless are starting to appear more and more." The boy stated, as Darren continued to watch over the town but in silence.

“It’s hard to defend this town." He heard the boy speak once again; Darren nodded before he opened his mouth to speak.

“Aye, I’ve noticed.” Darren said his sword was still stained with their essence from his last conflict a couple of days ago; no amount of cleaning actually got rid of the blackened edge around the blade.

Roth smiled as he heard Darren tell him that. He sat on the edge of the house they were on and sighed, "What brings you to Raidiant garden?" he asked as he looked down.

Roth sat there listing to the music woundering still how to get off the planet. "If i could id fly through space in a ship.."He said as he looked at the people dance around the fire. A few moments past when he heard a loud boom come from a few streets over. He knew what it was.

Roth stud up and looked at Darren. "Wanna go check it out."He said as he pointed in the derection of the noise. "Who knows..maybe we can get a work out." he said smileing.

[Darren]

"What brings you to Radiant Garden?” The boy said as Darren watched Roth sit down on the edge of the building they were standing on, both of them now looking down upon the cheerful populace of Radiant Garden.

“I’m also looking for someone” Darren said quietly, answering Roth’s question within a few seconds of him asking it. His voice had a down tone to it, as if he was burdened or under a lot of pressure.”She means a lot to me, I dunno what I’d do without her” He paused and looked over at Roth to make sure he was paying attention.

He became lost in thought for a couple of second’s as Roth began to speak, not out of boredom but the thought of him longing to hold her again, to go to sleep and wake up next to her just one more time... All those wants and none of them could be fulfilled until they were reunited once again.

His thinking spree was cut short when a loud explosion resonated through the air, making Roth suddenly stand up and Darren snap back to reality, looking at Roth who was began speaking but this time Darren was listening, "Wanna go check it out." Roth asked him, Darren followed his finger in which the boy was pointing, he nodded and jumped off the building to the ground below.

“Sure thing could do with the combat experience..!” He shouted, already dashing off to the direction in which the explosion was heard from.

Roth looked over with a face. "CHEATER!!!" he yelled as he bolted toward him, he caught up fast and ran beside him. "Hey...how about we team up...look for what we're looking for together.." he offered as he ran beside him

When they got there he saw a dark side distroing the town. "Another one in two days." he questioned. but not for long. Roth jumped up and slashed its arm clean of with one swipe of his blade. He looked up and it looked down at him
Roth smiled as it looked down. "What..cant fight with one arm..." he said as he charged up his dragon breath. "Fine ill go easy on ya." he said as he threw one into its face. It blew up on impact.

Roth stud there for a moment thinking on what it might do next. And waiting on Darren to attack.

[Darren]

He grinned as he heard Roth shout something out. “Ha-ha, come on slow poke you can run faster than that, you’re not wearing any armour unlike me!” He shouted back at the boy, his words came out in a taunting yet “prove your worth” style. He smiled as the boy was already running beside him. My, he was a quick one, Darren grinned as he ran faster, towards the source of explosion only to stop to a halt, allowing Roth to charge ahead; he obviously knew what this thing was.

“T-that’s... huge...” He said, his eyes widened slightly as he looked upwards, a giant heartless attacking the town. He watched as Roth charged forwards and sliced its arm off and used some strange magic to blast the creature to its feet. “Maybe there not so tough...” Darren mused as he charged forward, Roth’s actions coming to a halt.

Taking advantage of the moment Darren, jumping upwards as the creature lumbered its massive frame back up right. He looked at his right hand, as he flew through the air, grinning as a blackened gauntlet formed from mist appeared upon it. A couple of feet away from the abomination he punched his fist into the creature’s chest, the sharpened talons on his gauntlet puncturing the surface and digging inside, placing his feet firmly on the chest, he reached for his sword stabbing it into the chest as well.

Dangling from the monsters body, he shifted his weight to his right hand, and swung himself upwards, running upwards the dark skin, dragging his sword along with him, the sharpened blade slicing the creature up as he ran. Upon reaching the creature’s shoulder he jumped off wards, performing a backwards flip before landing on his feet, in a crouched position, he looked up at the monster to see what affect his attack had.

The minute Darren landed, Roth jumped up and with one stright cut he slashed the monsters head clear off. He landed on his feet an looked over to him."I think thats it.", he said as he placed his sword in its holster. The heartless dissaperd and the heart flew upward.

Roth looked at Darren."Nice attack style there.", he said as he walked up to him. "Hey i was thinking...let look for our light together."He said as he placed his hand up."We would make a great team.", he said as he smiled."Come on what ya say?", Roth asked as he looked at him with a smile acrossed his face.

[Darren]

(OOC: SOrry about the late reply, been busy the last week or so. )

Darren grinned as he watched Roth jump upwards and decapitate the Dark Sides head clean off. He started to clap as Roth landed safely on the ground. He nodded in response to Roth’s claim, and sheathed his blade as well.

His Gauntlet disappeared in par with the heartless as it began to disappear as well. The heart upon being released flew upwards into the air and faded. “Well... that’s another person freed from the darkness...” His voice was quite as if he was in thought.

"Nice attack style there." The boy said as he began to walk towards him, Darren looked upwards at the boy and nodded yet again.

“Thanks...”

"Hey I was thinking...let look for our light together, we would make a great team.” The boy smiled as he spoke, laying down the offer to the SOLDIER, Darren noticed this boy had a lot of optimism stashed away in his personality.

."Come on what ya say?".

Darren smiled and nodded “Sure, why not?” He said, his voice seemed a bit lighter now.
