History
Before his birth, Mikami's father was a scientist in the executive technological department for the government. He seemed like any other man, with brown eyes, long brown, straight hair combed to the side, and stood at 6'1”. He did seem like any other man, but he was one of the greatest workers in his department. He would risk his life constantly to find new discoveries, almost always bringing back something he could be proud of. He was the one that suggested to examine the remains of the meteors falling from the sky, and he was the one who lead the team of thirteen individuals to do it. Upon arrival at a crash site, they discovered the whereabouts of Plasma, the key to life for the planet. They thought.. no, they knew they had discovered possibly the greatest natural discovery there could ever be in the history of the planet. But, the individuals who had been part of the team received side effects. They were able to produce and control a green substance, particles flowing everywhere which disappointed into the air almost instantly.
Their department needed to study this sudden reaction right away. They brought the individuals into quarantine upon their agreement, and there they stayed for weeks while being studied and put through various tests. During the weeks of study, the scientists were able to discover that the substance was actually the individuals' energy taking a distinctive form. The potential for this “magic”, as they called it, was limitless. It could be used to strengthen things, repair things, create things, and can even be used as a destructive force. Once the few weeks of study, and the necessary information was gathered for such an incident not to occur once more, the individuals were released from quarantine.
Because of this discovery, the higher ups of the department were concerned, and went directly to council of Botenzi. The council was a group of seven incredibly wise people, elected into governing the entirety of Botenzi. They all agreed upon the decision of keeping this new and very strange discovery a secret, and making sure it will never become public. Therefore, the top special operation officers were gathered and formed a temporary unit to take out the thirteen individuals of the team. The explanation of their deaths would be taken care of by the higher ups in the government of Nagashi, and the bodies were burried at their funerals, using the excuse that the bodies may only be examined by the temporary team of high ranking military officers, which include soldiers and scientists alike.
One by one the individuals were getting killed, the other members of the past team not having a clue what happened to them, but they suspected they were being targeted for the side effects. Mikami's father was the head of the team, and seemed to be effected by the magic the most. He noticed his former team being killed off due to the lies in the newspaper, after three deaths, so he gathered the remaining, and a consensus was formed with all the individuals stating that they are being purposely killed off because of their powers. Since there was still an even number of them left, they agreed to always go out in public in pairs, depending on how close each of them live by each other.
From then on, it was a fight for their lives. The individuals also agreed to not use the magic out in public, as to not cause an international phenomenon, unless they knew no one was around, and was in danger. The first condition was always applicable to their situations since the government wanted to eradicate them in private, allowing them to bend the details of their deaths. The individuals tried long and hard to evade the force of the government, but after three long year, they just could not stop the brute force of the government, and were killed off one by one. At long last, there was only one of them left.. and it just happened to be Mikami's father. All these three years, he had been practicing the ways of magic, and was preparing for a showdown between him and many government officials.
One night, he sat down and had a talk with his wife, Mikami's mother. He told her all what had happened to him and his crew ever since the discovery of Plasma these long three years. To say the least, Mikami's mother was appalled by what her husband was saying, finding it hard to grasp the mere concept of “magic”. He then showed her his magic, and all her doubts were erased. Mikami's father then explained what she should do to cover the whole magic concept up, not telling a soul about what happened, and pretending to believe what the newspaper says about the death of her husband, also telling her some other facts about this whole conspiracy. He handed her a book which contained all the notes he wrote down these past three years of the way of the magic, telling her to get rid of it tomorrow morning. He then said that he was going to confront the governments force. She was immensely sad for the situation, and hugged her husband as tightly as she could, tears raging down her face, and screaming different variations of “please don't go.” Then, there was only silence, for Mikami's father gently kissed his mother, and they romantically shared their last night together.
The next morning, Mikami's father laid there, completely awake, apparently not getting one minute of sleep. It was five in the morning, still dark outside. He got up from his bed quietly, trying not to wake his wife who seemed completely at peace with her beautiful smile. He walked to the guest room, starting his daily routine like any other day by doing some push ups and sit ups. After half an hour, he walked to the shower, brushed his teeth, and took a shower. After fifteen minutes, he grabbed one of his suits, and put it on within two minutes. He went into the kitchen and prepared a small yet delightful breakfast for him and his wife consisting of eggs and pancakes. He ate his meal quickly, and laid brought his wife's meal on a tray, into their room, and placed in the nightstand. He picked up his briefcase, and stared at his wife for a few minutes, reminiscing of all the good times they shared. As a single tear dropped from his eye, he closed his eyes, wiped it off, got himself together, and gave his wife a slight kiss on the cheek. He took off, knowing, he was never going to come back.
Mikami's mother woke up violently, like she'd had a nightmare, right after the door was shut. She turned around to see that her husband wasn't on his side of the bed, but there was a nice breakfast prepared for her. She then instantly remembered every second of their conversation the previous night, and caught a glimpse of the book she was told to be rid of. She stared at the book, remembering that it was filled with the notes of magic, but also, it was also one of the only things that she could remember her husband by, so she decided to disregard the request, and keep the book.
The same day, as Mikami's was watching the news, there was a report about her husband, and how he died from a violent mugging on his way to work which ended in his death. That was when Mikami's mother broke down. She was on the floor, crying to the point where she seemed like an infant longer for their parent. She was feeling so many mixed emotions. Anger at the government, anger at her husband, anger at magic, and anger at the ways of the human race. She was completely filled with sorrow, and didn't know what to do. She took out pictures of her and her husband, just reminiscing of the memories they shared together, while river of anguish feel from her eyes. Her family, their family, and various friends of the family came over to give her support, as well as each other, and it helped a lot. She was thankfully able to sleep that night because of that support.
The first few weeks after the accident were incredibly rough for her. She had to go through with funeral cost, figure out all their financial issues now that she was alone, and take care of all their possessions and financial issues. For the first few days, she contemplated suicide, but could never go through with it, because she knew she would never be able to face her husband up above. Then, something happened that she never even thought of. She found out she was pregnant, thanks to her and her husband's last night together. When she found out, she was incredibly contempt, and immensely praised her late husband for being such a good that he gave her such a joy, someone to aid her through life while he was gone. Thanks to this incredible discovery, although she was still sorrowful for the death of her husband, she was able to be strong, and do all the necessary requirements to take care of her new child. She found a very nice job that would keep her and her child in the same elegant apartment she had lived in for the past few years with her late husband.
About nine months later, her magical ray of hope for a better life was born, and he was beautiful. She named the boy Mikami, for no particular reason, but she felt it was a good name for the child. She noticed right away, that his eyes, were the same color as the magic from her husband, a very light green color. She didn't think this meant anything, but she didn't believe in coincidences either. She figured she'd just have to watch the baby carefully from now on.
The first few years of his life, Mikami seemed like a completely normal child, apart from his light green eyes. As a baby, he didn't cry much, but on the off occasion he did, it was because of something important. He didn't cause much worry to his mother, and she was glad for it. He grew up normally, eating everything his mother gave him, and.. releasing it as well. In his toddler years, he wasn't running around everywhere, screaming at the top of his lungs. He rather stayed quiet, but liked to talk to his mom about his day and such things. His mother nurtured him, but did not baby him. She taught him the difference between right and wrong, over the following years, the importance of doing good and school, and the meaning of hard work, and earning what you deserve.
Mikami, along with his green eyes, had long straight green hair which was combed from back to front and then to the side, also having small clumps of hair stick out more than usual. He had not too dark but not too light brown skin Mikami and preferred to have a combination of either tight t-shirt or a long sleeved shirt with an unbuttoned short sleeved shirt along with regular blue or black jeans and a pair of white sneakers.
When Mikami was eight years old, he found something he had never seen before while in his mother's room just talking with her while watching her television, and eating the wonderfully prepared dinner. He saw a picture of a man, a man he'd never seen before, and he was quite curious as to know who that man was. He asked his mother about the picture, and although he was still a small child, he was mature enough to be told the truth. His mother refrained from telling him about his magical powers, and told him what the papers said. Mikami was sad at hearing the news, but he wasn't going to cry for a man he didn't even know. He hugged his mom and asked if she was alright. She simply smiled at him and nodded, and they returned to watching their programs.
Over the next years, Mikami's mother came home to find various things broken, at least once every few weeks. She asked why he was doing this and if it had anything to do the man she told him about. He simple said no, and that it was a secret. This frustrated his mother a bit, and in a keen, stern voice, she told him not to do this anymore. He nodded and agreement, but the broken items around the house were still being found. But his mother still wasn't satisfied. She knew something was wrong, and so she took him to child therapy, seeing a therapist once a week. After about fifteen weeks of returning visits, the therapist simply could not find anything wrong with the boy, and said she was quite astonished that would happen since he is such a sweet and gentle boy, very mature for his age.
Mikami's mother was even more confused then ever. Here was a boy that never did anything wrong in his life, and she suddenly comes home to find broken items everywhere. She had to know what was going on. When Mikami was about eleven years old, Mikami's mother went directly to her son and asked what was going on, and that she couldn't accept the answer “it's a secret” any longer. Mikami then looked a little afraid, and apologized to his mother. He then showed his mother what was breaking all those items, and she was absolutely astonished.
It was magic. Probably inherited from his father, but it still didn't reduce her astonishment. She didn't really know what to do. Should she tell him the truth, or she should just tell him not to do it anymore? She decided with the former, and told him exactly what happened to his dad, ever since the discovery of Plasma. She explained how him and his team created what powers the new world today;, she explained how him and his team received side effects labeled as “magic” from direct contact with the meteors, she explained how the government ruthlessly sought out to murder every one of the members of the team, including his father, she explained their brave and quiet retaliation over the span of a few years, and she explained his father was the last one to be captured and killed by the government, including all they did to cover up the incidents.
To say the least, it was a little hard for Mikami. He simply stared at the ground for one of the longest minute of his mother's life, but then turned to her and confirmed he has accepted what happened. His mother was really satisfied at the fine boy that sat down before her, and was somewhat surprised he was almost as big as her at such a young age. Mikami's mother didn't mention anything about the book his father left, for she didn't think it was the right time to give it to him.
On Mikami's fourteenth birthday, he had a party with all his friends from middle school. He really enjoyed himself, as did his friends. Once they were all gone, his mother gave him a final gift, one that would top them all, and consume his life for the next few years. She gave him his father's book, and explained that it was his notes on the workings of magic in the three year span of time when he was training while evading the government.
Mikami took a glance at the book, and was astonished at the level of detail that was put into the book. He explains every action he did to create every type of “spell” he did. He explains the basic necessities of actually being able to use magic efficiently, but the hardest part of using such a force was training your mind and body to be able to control it. He instantly made a resolve, to train himself using the ways of this book.
About ten minutes after the conversation of the book ended, Mikami told his mom he was going out, and that he'd be back soon. He left in such a rush that he wasn't able to hear his mom ask him where. He was attempting to look for an open space, one where not many people were around, where he could test his magical capabilities to their fullest. He strapped on his helmet, latched onto his jet board, leaped in the air, and positioned the board into such a way where he could instantly begin to move as he descended upon the board.
He was constantly turning his head left and right to look for open spaces around the city, yet there was none. Everything was near something else, and the spaces didn't even seem big enough. He raced down the city streets, and he sound found himself on the outskirts of the town, nearing the border. He was surprised he hadn't thought of this before, but he could just ride his board a little ways past the border of the city, just until no one could see him, because it was quite the lengthy trip from Nagashi to the next village.
He returned home about two hours later, which somewhat worried his mother, but she was just glad to see him back home safe and sound. He told her that he'd found the perfect place to train, since it's an open space and there aren't people around the area. She was proud of him for taking such initiative so fast, and the two shared a delivered pizza while watching old made before Mikami's birth.
Although he prioritized his homework before working on his magic, Mikami found himself having little leisure time anymore, balancing his school work with the training he must do. Even if he had a lot of work from school, he said to himself that everyday at around seven pm, he would take the hour long travel, train using the book for about two hours, and travel back home. This would make him come home at about elven o'clock, just the time whenever his mom starts watching television or completes some work. He followed this routine for three years, just as long as his father trained with magic, and never missing a day to go to the training fields, as he referred to them, and so far, he has never been caught by a single human eye.
In the beginning of his training, he practiced simply conjuring and controlling the magic, practicing to remember the feeling and necessary steps in order to produce the magic quickly. After two years of repeating the same process, after two years of repeating the same techniques over and over again, he is finally able to conjure and control his magic in an instant. He spent the last year creating abilities using the magic which could be used against the government in case they ever found out about him. He would never willingly go right up against the government, because that would just get him killed, no matter how strong he is, and most importantly, his mother forbid it.
He was now in his last year of school. All his friends were saddened whenever they were around him, since they never got to hang out after school hours due to Mikami's homework and secret training. He assured them that this year he'd be able to hang out whenever they'd like, because he didn't like neglecting their friendship anymore. His friends were instantly joyous since they could see Mikami after school as well.
One of his friends was especially glad that they would be able to hang out outside school. Mikami's best friend, Akari, a dark skinned woman of purity, radiance, and beauty, and a few inches shorter than Mikami. She had very feminine features and Mikami was beginning to notice this more and more, since whenever she is around, a simple smile from her radiant face could make Mikami completely turn red.
Akari and Mikami had a lot in common, one of the most obvious things in common being that they both have the same naturally colored hair and eyes, which was something that always puzzled Mikami, since his hair and eyes were due to his magical capabilities, how would Akari get something only he would be able to? He never confronted her with the question, because he didn't want to accidentally let her in on the secret of his magic.
One special Friday night, Akari called Mikami and in a somewhat embarrassed voice, asked if the wanted to take a walk around the city. Mikami, although a little surprised, was happy to hear the offer, and like it was the most natural thing in the world, accepted. Nagashi had a famous lake on it's northern side, near the border of the town. It was there the two decided to take a little stroll. They had a very nice time, talking about past memories, and about what the future holds in store for them.
It was now now about 6:45 pm, and the sun was starting to set. Mikami and Akari stopped walking, stopped talking, and just enjoyed the view of the sunset, their hair swaying with the wind, with smiles on their faces. Akari closed her eyes, took Mikami's arm, and placed her head on it. Mikami was very surprised, but he did not object, and stood there, continuously staring at the sun, when all of a sudden, Akari whispered words he would have never imagined:
“I can use magic too...”
To say the absolute least, Mikami was appalled. A few seconds after she said those words, Mikami grabbed Akari by her arms and looked straight into her eyes, noticing her smile never left her beautiful face. He asked her a few questions; how did she know he could use magic? How did it come to be for her to use magic? Does anyone else know of her discovery? Why did she decide to tell him this now of all times? Akari's smile went away..
“I thought you'd be a little happier..” she said.
“Are you kidding? I'm ecstatic! This is unbelievable! I finally have someone to share my powers with! But I just need to know how this happened..” he replied. Akari's light yet radiant smile returned, and she was more than willing to explain it all. As Mikami listened intently, she said:
“My father was one of the last remaining members of the team which founded Plasma. Our fathers were the leaders of said team, and also very good friends from before the expedition. During the three year span of retaliation of the government's forces, they were working together on expanding their magical powers, but each with different types of abilities. Your father was developing offensive and defensive magic to defend their team with, while my father was developing detection and teleportation magic to help the team stay away from trouble. During that period, they each wrote in a notebook of their experiences and what they did to use the abilities they created. After years of research and tests with magic, they were ruthlessly killed by the government forces at different times.” she said, creating a silence in the air for about one minute, one of the longest minutes of Mikami's life. He thought she was going to shed a few tears after reminiscing about her father's death, but he knew she was stronger than that, and more likely than not got over it after all these years.
“I know about the notes, since my mom gave me my father's notebook. I've been practicing it's ways everyday for the last three years, which is actually why I wasn't able to hang out with you and the other guys after school.” he said.
“I'd expect nothing less from you Mikami,” she said as a gentle smile grew on her face, “for I've actually been doing the same thing these past three years, studying and practicing the notes of my late father.”
And with that, they gave their goodbyes, and departed to their own places. The minute Mikami got home, he told his mom what he found out. She was surprised, but not as much as one would think, which somewhat troubled Mikami. He bluntly asked her why she wasn't more surprised, and she explained how she already knew about Mikami's father's friend, but she did not know that he had a daughter. Mikami was surprised at this discovery, but wasn't the least bit shocked that his mother knew more about this whole ordeal then he did.
The next day, Mikami called Akari and told her to meet him by the northern gate. Upon reaching there himself, he saw her, who seemed to be just arriving as well, since her motor bike was still on. He told her to keep going past the gate, and to follow him. He led her to the place he use to come everyday to train his magical abilities. She was delighted to be here, but she asked why they were there. He quickly replied saying he wanted to see the extent of her powers, and visa versa.
For the next few minutes, they should each other exactly what the could do, Mikami being amazed at what Akari had learned to do. It was no wonder she knew that he could use magic, since she's been working on detection magic for quite a while. And her teleportation skills were amazing, but the bigger the teleportation distance, the more tired it made her. She could even teleport somewhere with other people, or teleport the individual somewhere by him/herself just by touching them.
As they were showing each other the extent of their powers, a huge wall of purple energy began to form in front of them, with circular black and purple waves expanding repeatedly. Out of it came a huge creature that seemed to a huge muscular black creature, who appeared to have the same body structure as a human, with two yellows eyes, and antennas. Unknown to Mikami and Akari, it was a huge heartless. Both Mikami and Akari were completely surprised. They had never seen such a thing before in their lives. It swung one of it's huge arms down at the two. Akari grabbed Mikami and teleported out of the way. They knew they had to defeat the creature quickly and quietly before anyone comes near them.
Mikami started gathering energy in front of his stretched out hands, while Akari was grabbing onto Mikami and teleporting them out of the way of the monster's attacks. As soon as Mikami thought he had enough energy to blow the beast away, he shot his magic energy out in the form of three diagonal crescents, which sliced the monsters body parts right off. It bellowed in pain, and although not completely eradicated, retreated back into it's portal, and the portal disappeared.
Mikami and Akari were both on the floor from the force of Mikami's attack. Although he did train for a while, he had never done anything so drastic before, so he wasn't use to the impact. The two were quite tired from the battle, so they just laid back and stared at the sky while heavily breathing. They tried to figure out what that thing was, but they couldn't. They'd never seen anything like it.
Then after a few minutes, the portal reopened, and an incredible amount of the same beings, but considerably smaller, appeared in many different shapes and sizes, all coming straight for Mikami and Akari. Since they'd done so much training and just had a battle, Akari didn't have enough power to teleport them far enough to be safe from the monsters' wrath, so she teleported in order to avoid their attacks, while Mikami created more crescents of energy, slicing a few of them in half with each crescent he created.
It seemed like they were going to get through it. but the battle was too much for them. Hordes of heartless continuously kept pouring out of the portal, and wouldn't stop for anything to get to their target. Eventually, they reached the Mikami and Akari. They separated the two and the heartless began devouring the two poor children. Akari wasn't able to teleport away because of the amount pain being inflicted upon her, and Mikami kept trying to break free to help her. He simply stared as he watched his best friend being agonized and tortured, and then her eyes lay directly upon his.
He couldn't take it seeing her pain anymore. He went into a temporary berserk mode, destroying all the heartless that were pinning him down, and ran straight for Akari, trying to help her before it gets any worse. As he came closer, Akari's eyes and hair began to shine lighter than the sun, which sent all the heartless attacking her flying, and left the rest of the pack stationary. Mikami caught her in his arms just as she was beginning to fall from where the heartless were holding her. Her eyes were open, looking directly at Mikami. She barely had any strength left, but she managed to say a few words to him:
“Mikami.. I'm.. sorry.” she said.
“No no no you don't have to apologize, everything's going to be fine Akari, I'll get you to a hospital, you'll be all better, and everything will go back to the way it was.. just please be strong..” he said.. but there was no verbal response.. Akari simply put smiled at him and closed her eyes.
In this instant, Mikami's eyes flew wide open in horror, tears beginning to form as he stared upon the body of his beloved one. In this instant, Mikami realized he truly loved his best friend Akari, a woman he had met in the first year of high school, and his been friends with ever since, a woman who shared the same fate as his with the death of their fathers and the powers that they received. In this instant, Mikami lost all of his senses. He completely shut down. Tears shedding down his face, and then, a roar completely filled with murderous rage and hatred was shouted from the top of his lungs. To Mikami, it felt like a thousand swords were piercing his heart repeatedly with each passing second. Then all of a sudden, a purple light began to extract itself from the heart of Mikami, and as well as a green light from Akari. Each of their bodies began to be completely taken over by a white light, and a few seconds later, the bodies began to merge.
Once the blinding light was fading, only one figure could be seen in the place where Mikami and Akari stood. The figure is what Mikami currently looks like, with the purple clothes, hair, and weapon, but the green eyes. Unknown to Mikami, he and Akari just fused, along with all the darkness the heartless had given them while attacking them. Since Akari was killed, the body was Mikami's, and Mikami's alone, and he was completely taken over by the darkness from the heartless. But, Akari's spirit was still alive and strong, and it enabled him to keep his own true spirit, and his light green eyes, although this did not give him the powers Akari possessed.
Combining his newly found weapon with his magical capabilities, along with his insane rage, he demolished the armada of heartless quickly, but not quietly. He made sure each one of them were killed by attacking each with multiple fatal blows. After a while, the portal's power began to increase. Unknown forces were beginning to push Mikami towards the portal, and although he was strong, after a while, he could not hold his position anymore, and was sucked in by the vast darkness, being knocked unconscious.
When Mikami woke up, of all places, he was on top of a bed, in a strange house he had never seen before. He got up, walked out of the room, and to the nearest person. This person explained to him that her and her husband found him lying in the middle of an alleyway they were passing by, and that he was extremely injured, so they picked him up and took him to their house to treat him back to health. Mikami was very grateful they'd go through such lengths for him.
Over the span of one month, Mikami found out that he was in a place called Traverse Town. He also found out about the heartless, and was informed about nobodies as well. Over the one month period of time, he acquired a job at a local pub, attempting to get some money so he could repay the couple for their kindness. He also found out that there is a portal from this world to various other worlds where he may venture.
Mikami undoubtedly wanted to find out why the hell he looks like this, where the hell he is, what happened to his own planet, and if his mother and Akari were alright. Doubting he'd find the answers in such a peaceful place, he thanked the couple one last time for their hospitality, gave them half of all the money he earned from working at the pub, and was on his way. Unfortunately for Mikami, he had no clue that his world was already overrun and devoured by the heartless, and that his mother was already dead.

Origin
Botensho :: The planet consists of three main continents, with various small islands here and there along a map. Botenzi, the name of the largest continent, resembling the planet's name, takes about the 1/3 of the planet's land. Only 40% of the planet is actually land, Botenzi taking up about 25 of said 40%. The planet is filled with natural beauty, yet is also one of the most insidious planets known to man. Massively drastic climate changes may happen at any time, so one must be weary of his/her surroundings 24/7. Extreme cyclones sucking all in it's path in an instant; minor yet incredibly destructive tsunamis smashing it's incredible force unto all in it's path, devouring whatever it hits; great bursts of fire which may turn the most elegant forests into ash filled wastelands within the hour.-----------------------
With incredible mountain ranges which could take the breath of any traveler far away, yet if they so choose to venture such mountains to the top, the once spectacular illusion will become nothing but either a blazing inferno, or an arctic glacier, with their rapid and powerful mixture of huge stones and lava or icicles hailing down upon you with the means of demolishing anything in their path; forests that would captivate anyone who laid their gaze upon such a radiant sight, but if they do so for too long, the crippling yet attractive auramic force of the forest will control you, and you will become one with the last thing you saw; beautiful raging rivers with both the sight and sound to create a scene of eternal bliss, yet if one gets trapped in such crushing waters, without protection, they will be decomposed by the money different currents within the river, or eventually make it to the end and fall to their doom. The hardest thing that befell on the planet were huge, azure meteors which feel from the pink-tinted sky, but what the humans would soon find out is these huge meteors would be the key to their existance.
Because of such extreme weather conditions, the people of the world had to find places which were deemed as “safe zones”, where no climatically apocalyptic events would occur. Over the years, the people of the world found more and more safe zones, and built cities and villages in their midst. Over the years of technological research, the humans had found ways to protect their cities and villages from the extreme weather conditions. Plasma was discovered, a type of energy force extracted from the remains of the huge meteors. Plasma was the greatest discovery in the history of the world. It was incredibly efficient, environmentally friendly, especially since it was created by the environment, and somehow, once it was used on something, never depleted for that particular object. All the “gatherers”, as they were known, had to do, was stock up the Plasma, and they could power the whole world forever. Thanks to Plasma, life on the planet was getting safer and safer with the passing years.
One of the cities of the world was Nagashi, the capital city of Botenzi, and although it wasn't the biggest, it was definitely the most technologically advanced city there was. AI helping in everyday situations, soundless and automatic hover cars, and almost every building is what we would call skyscrapers. There are different levels in the city, each for it's own type of transportation. The lowest level is where everyday folk simply walk to get to their destination, the outer sector being purely a residential district, while the inner sectors contain all different varieties of shops and company buildings, also containing areas known as the slums. The second level contains the many automated trains for public transportation, which lay on top of a thin yet incredibly durable and stable metal known as Phi. They are usually used by people in a rush, people without cars, or people who seem to enjoy the train rather than the hover cars. The third level is the highway, containing exits to all around the city, the residential districts, industrial districts, public parking lots, everywhere. The third level is a private transportation level only known accessible to those of high status in society, the rich, the business executives, the celebrities, etc. The fifth and final level is private transportation which is heavily guarded and only accessible by high members of the government. Some people have been shot on site trying to trespass such a place.
The rest of Botenzi has small villages and other cities scattered throughout the continent, the largest city being the port city, Keiichi, which harbors all coming and going gravitional and anti-gravitational ships. The other two continents aren't as technologically advanced as Botenzi, but they definitely have many more resources. The governments and villagers of each continent like to stay independent since they're not quite use to travelling, but whenever they meet, they're very friendly with one another, which has created a long standing peace between the two smaller continents. The villagers of the smaller continents forsake the technology created in Botenzi, saying it has only brought greed to the hearts of men all over Botenzi, which has created an everlasting stalement between Botenzi and the two smaller continents. Although the villagers might not be and perfect terms with one another, trading through the port town of Keiichi has never been stopped, which allows all three continents to grow and prosper, and possibly unite one of these days.

Appearance
Physical Features: Mikami has brown skin. It's not so light to be unrecognizable, but it's not so dark to completely stand out either. He has been through a lot of adventures, especially since the world he lives in creates life or death situations at random. Although he might not be as big as other people, he is incredibly toned, with a very sturdy and powerful body, especially for his size, and since there is no way of knowing, he hopes he is strong and maneuverable enough to undergo any situation that comes at him. Being 5'11" and weighing in at 185 lbs, he is small and light enough to be able to maneuver easily through almost anything, but also is built enough to hold his own in a fight.Personality
Facial Features: His face has very smooth and soft skin, no laugh lines, since it rarely happens anymore, no facial hair whatsoever, and his head seems like the perfect size for his body. His eyes are a deep light green, and they are the only thing about him, other than his skin, that isn't purple, or has an evil aura. He has eyes resembling that of a warrior who has accepted his fate, both his past and his destiny, and cannot do anything to change what has already happened, or what will happen. His hair on the top of his head naturally spikes up in clumps in all sorts of directions. As the hair reaches closer to it's edges, it naturally spikes down with a curve, covering his right eye all the time.
Clothing: Currently, the clothes Mikami wears are, to the best of his knowledge, one of a kind. They give off the appearance of a warrior's costume, with mild armored protection, and multiple layers of purple cotton covering most of his body. His coat covers his shoulders, ending at the edges near his neck, but flowing down, creating a somewhat "v" like shape revealing a small bit of his chest, and the material is tucked into his regular cotton, skin tight pants. He wears something wrapped around his waist that resembles the tail of a long coat, which flutters whenever there is wind, and it is kept in place by a sash, which is held tightly together by a skull-like contraption which acts as a buckle. There are white edges all around the coat, the tail, and around the middle of his bisceps. He wears purple gloves attached to his coat, and purple shoes, seemingly attached to his pants, but really aren't.
Miscellaneous Items/Articles: He constantly wears a purple scarf around his neck which covers his lips, and each side is about 3 meters in length. The scarf is usually tied around his entire body as to not get caught in something, but sometimes, he will release it, and allow it to sway with the wind along with his hair and his coat's tail. Also, there are metallic parts on top of his coat, resembling the look of bones, but are incredibly dense and durable like titanium. They cover his shoulders, forearms, the back of his hands, and somewhat cover his ribs.{ Mikami Uruianzu }
Resolve: His resolve ever since that one frightful night was to vanquish the detestable vermin within him, which he believes has almost nearly consumed him to the point where it may persuade his consciousness into doing acts against his own true will. He is a warrior who believes in fate and destiny. He believes once something is lost, it cannot be attained once more. He believes that every person from all the lands has a path crafted for him or her at birth, and although it seems unattainable at points in their life, they will eventually venture down that path. He believes this curse was given to him by the vastitude of fate, but he also believes that somewhere along his path, there will be a chance for him to be rid of it, and never repeat past tragedies, endlessly tormenting him day after day, slowly yet surely crafting a sense of insanity within.-----------------------
Pursuit: He is in pursuit of many things; he is in pursuit of increasing strength to end his everlasting anguish; he is in pursuit of answers to know how he came to be all he is in his current state, and how he was taken away from his home planet into places he'd never even heard of; and he is in pursuit for a chance to rid himself of his burdens, plaguing him ever since that frightful day, so he may be able to live the rest of his life with some sense of peace.
Fears: Mikami is not one of those narcisstic men who believe they aren't afraid of anything. It's a fact that Mikami has definitely not experienced everything in these newly found worlds, or even in his world for that matter, so he definitely cannot say that. One thing that plagues his mind constantly is the fact he cannot, at the very least, control this strange darkness within himself, let alone be rid of it. Although he may be afraid of some things in this world, that does not completely erase his courage, and his true will to battle anything that comes his way.
Hopes: What he hopes for is almost exactly what he's striving for. He wishes to be rid of the darkness within, and for his past to stop recurring in his mind day after day, which eventually, mentally, effects his future and his personality, possibly turning him into the monster he was always meant to be, or into the crazed and constantly stationary figure unable to talk, walk, or do anything.
Hobbies: He doesn't have too many hobbies, since he does't do many leisurely things. Thing he loves to do most, but tries his hardest not to, is reminisce about the time of his former life, in his own world, with his family and friends. Although he loves to do this, he must not, for with good memories, comes the bad ones as well, as well as the strengthening of the darkness within. What he usually does, which he doesn't find so bad, is train daily, for he enjoys the fact that his fighting skills improve, and he will be more prepared for what is unknown with each passing day.
Public Personality: Mikami usually comes off as a person full of mystery. He usually sticks to being independent and silent. He doesn't really force this upon himself, putting himself in quarantine from the rest of the world that is, he just finds himself to be alone most of the time. Because of his unnatural clothing and somewhat chaotic aura, people tend to stay away from Mikami, thinking he isn't normal. Well frankly, he isn't, but doesn't mean he's strange. In the off chance people do come into contact with him, or visa versa, he might seem somewhat cold and unthoughtful, but all he doing is being truthful in a straight-forward manner, so you could say he likes to get straight to the point.
No matter who Mikami is around or what situation he is in, he will always stick to what he believes in, no matter what. He believes whatever he does, whoever he does it with, and whatever he chooses are all part of the path that has been created for him since his birth. He will base his choices on whatever he thinks will be good for him and himself only, but whenever with a group, he will attempt with all his might to keep them alive. If there are people attempting to belittle Mikami in very petty ways such as calling him various names, or various actions like throwing away his food or drink in a pub, Mikami will not respond. But if they attempt to hurt him in any ways, or degrade his family or friends, he will not allow them escape from his wrath until they've been taught a lesson.
Mikami will always strive to better himself for the sake of ending his battle within. He trains day after day to become a stronger, more agile warrior, takes it upon himself to enforce his ways upon the various thugs and barbarians in the lands. In the off chance of fighting someone with a battling aptitude of his caliber, he will always give it everything he has, and definitely will try to massively improve his skills in the small time span of fighting someone with such a description.
Private Personality: Mikami's private personality are much like his public one, since he doesn't like to be dishonest with the outside world. Although there are things, like his history, he keeps secret from the people around him. For those that he deems "close" to him, he will express care and contempt when around them, for it actually is what he truly feels, reminding him there are still parts of him that are human. He might even let those he deems "close" know about his secret, but only if they find out there is something bothering him, for he tries his hardest to hide it. He isn't heartless enough to not help anyone in need though, because as soon as he sees someone like that in sight, he will attempt to the best of his ability to help them. No one would ever expect this, but he is extremely shy when it comes to women who he has a slight attraction for, and although it might not be very visible, when talking to them, he blushes.

- Since he has lived in Traverse Town for a month, the villagers there have informed him about some of the terminology used in Kingdom Hearts (Heartless, Nobody, Organization XIII). He's also found out that there are other worlds a bit like Traverse Town that he may take off to at any point and time he wants using the portal in Traverse Town. He has not ventured into those worlds as of yet, and is clueless about anything else happening in the Kingdom Hearts universe.
