History: Fenix originated from a world called Sukaaretto. It was a very warm tropical world. Fenix was born into the royal family as a second daughter. She always got into little tiffs with her older sister like any siblings do, for instance, she would at times tip the dinner table into her sister's lap if the right time came for it. Fenix was the only person in the Royal family with orange hair and green eyes while everyone else had gray eyes and black hair, which made her stand out. Can you say recessive gene?
Time passed by and Fenix grew up to the age for school to start. She wasn't able to go to regular public schools because she was Royal, So she was taught by a special teacher that has been in their family for a long time. Fenix never liked school, she had to sit and be still while listening to her teacher drone on and on about history and junk. She especially disliked her teacher, she was old, wrinkly, and mean. If Fenix wasn't paying attention, she would get slapped on the knuckles by a long stick. This made Fenix skip school a lot.
Fenix grew up more and rebelled more. She didn't like rules, they were too constraining. When she wasn't at school, she would walk around town with a hood on so nobody noticed that she wasn't where she was supposed to be. While roaming the streets, Fenix could hear many things that the villagers said that they wouldn't normally say when they knew a royal was there. One particular pair of ladies started to talk about how badly the royal family ran things, and how spoiled the princess' were. Fenix was shocked at what they were saying, she wasn't spoiled! Fenix started to move in closer to the ladies in hope to hear more of their gossip, only, as she got to a good listening distance, her teacher who was looking for her, spotted her and started to run at her. Noticing something moving fast in the corner of her eye, Fenix whipped around sending her hood flying off her head. After a few moments, Fenix realized who was charging at her. Being scared for her and her knuckle's safety, Fenix started to book it. She weaved in and out of alleys and side streets while trying to escape the monstrous teacher. Fenix eventually ended up in a main street which was busy with merchants and people. She tried to blend in, but she was easy to notice since not many people have orange hair, and plus, everyone was looking at her. Fenix continued to run through the crowds while looking behind her to see where the teacher was. Even though the teacher was was old, She was hot on Fenix's heels. Fenix turned her head back around to only notice that she tripped over her own feet. People parted the way as she was falling, so that she could eventually see that she was on the fast track to falling into a fire pit. Fenix twisted her torso so that her back would hit the burning coals. Her back made a soft ploof on the embers while sending up little flames and ash into the air. Her cloak bursted up into flames while she rolled on her back, sending her into the air letting her do a back flip. People, including her teacher, stood in awe of what just happened while Fenix went diving into another ally and then into a random door, she was not going to go to school. She looked out a window until everyone dispersed. "Guess that was too fast for them," chuckled a middle aged man.
Being surprised by the man, Fenix turned around and apologized for her intrusion while bowing. The man waved it off while pointing to her hand as in asking what she was holding. Fenix looked at her clenched hand and opened it with a burning coal settling into place on her palm, she must've grabbed it during her lift-off in the fire pit. A boy with silver wind swept hair and aqua blue eyes who was sitting silently on a chair, got up immediately and picked up the coal in her hands. He juggled it around for a little while when he finally threw it into the fireplace. "It's still hot..." The boy said while looking at Fenix in wonder why she wasn't in pain. The man moved over to check her hand out and eventually said that she was in sync with the element of Fire. He asked her if she wanted to learn how to use magic which she could fight with. Fenix nodded her head vigorously, this would mean that she could move around and learn cool stuff! She wouldn't have to be in that stuffy classroom anymore..... at least she thought.
The man, who she deemed her master, told her that he saw potential in her but one of his requirements for being taught how to use magic was to stay in school and get a good education. She could come to learn how to fight after school since she got out earlier than normal kids. She thought that requirement was kind of stupid but she really wanted to learn how to fight, it looked fun. So Fenix sucked it up and went to school, and when she got there, she was welcomed with a nice slap to the back of her head. After she got settled into her seat, the teacher introduced a new student into Fenix's one student class. The boy with silver hair walked into the room and introduced himself as Masato. Fenix stared at him blankly, while he explained that he was there in that house the other day because his sword was getting repaired, and he was simply waiting. He smiled at her while she narrowed her eyes. Masato sat down on the seat next to her while the teacher explained that he was a prince from a nearby country and their teacher recently died. So Fenix's parents apparently decided to make their relationship with that other royal family tighter by giving education away, which THRILLED her.
After her lessons ended, Fenix would jump out of her seat and fly out the window. She would immediately go running to her master's house to go learn stuff she actually cared about. She would burst into his house with a beaming face with an air around her that said Teach me about this thing you call magic! Her master would just smile and tell her to wait for a little while. So Fenix would wait quietly on a chair, until, the door opened and none other than the silvered hair boy walked through the door. He looked over at Fenix and told her how much of a coincidence it was seeing her here. She just gave him a look saying that your on my turf bub while he smiled at her not knowing how to respond. The tensions were getting high in the room so the master said "There is no such thing as coincidence, only hitsuzen." They both gave him a stupefied look. "It means inevitability. Hitsuzen means inevitability," He said while shaking his head. The master then went on the explain that Masato was also going to be taught by him also, but instead, how to wield a sword and repel magic attacks. Fenix really didn't care, she just wanted to learn how to fight.
Years passed and Fenix grew older. She trained hard and tried to keep up with her studies, even though she would often be "sick". Fenix and Masato became very good friends being that they were around each other most of the time. They both were becoming very strong. Their master ended up pairing them together for everything they did. Missions, training, tournaments, you name it. They were a perfect pair together since Masato was a short range attacker and Fenix was a distance attacker. Even though everything was going good for Fenix, the rest of her world was having troubles. Unknown forces were attacking and destroying villages and there was numerous accounts of eyewitness' saying that people would succumb to the forces in fear of dying which resulted in their body disintegrating into the wind and a black bunny-like creature rising up from their shadow. Fenix and Masato were assigned to go check out what was attacking the villages and exterminate it. After hearing their assignment, they got their equipment together and started to head out. While they got closer to one of the towns that was attacked, Fenix noticed that they plant life was looking more dead and non-existent than she remember from when she was little. Once they reached the town, Fenix and Masato checked everywhere they could but never found anything, they only found people in hysteria who would constantly talk about the end of the world. Being a little disappointed at not finding anything, Fenix and Masato packed up their things and took the people to the main village right next to the castle.
More years passed and Sukaaretto was being attacked more frequently. Everything was looking more sad and dead. The plant life was disappearing along with people, and if people weren't disappearing, they were most likely fleeing to different sides of the world. Tensions were constantly high and people were looking for excuses to relieve their stress. One time, Fenix walked out of the castle being half asleep from waking up at noon when she spotted her older sister. Fenix approached her while asking where she has been for the past couple of days. Her sister responded that she was protecting a village but it got over runned by Heartless. Fenix snorted, "Heartless? Like a person without a heart?" Her older sister nodded her head. Fenix raised her eyebrows and smiled, "So we're dealing with zombies? That dumb that you couldn't defeat a couple of zombies!" Fenix laughed while her sister tried to explain what Heartless really were. Getting exasperated by Fenix not listening and making fun of her, she left to go get Masato who she would actually listen too. After she left, Fenix stopped laughing and went to go get something to eat. Fenix made her way over to a crepes stand when a rock hit her head. Fenix whipped around while holding her head and looked at the perpetrator who was yelling and screaming that Fenix was the Massacre Queen. Fenix moved over to the person and grabbed him by the collar. "Who's the Massacre Queen? And who throws a rock?!!" Fenix yelled, when somebody started to explain, "The Massacre Queen is a legend. The basics of the legend was that long ago, a queen with orange hair was cursed with bad luck, and all of the villagers started to die one by one because of a disease which they all thought was the bad luck of the queen. Eventually, the queen went crazy with the torment of the villagers and killed most of the them, giving her the name of the Massacre Queen." Fenix turned around to see who was speaking. None other than Masato was standing there looking proud of himself with her older sister standing behind him. "You should really listen in class, Fenix. Plus," He said turning to the man, "She's lacks drive to do something like that." Fenix let go of the man while saying, "I will massacre you if you throw a rock at my head again." Masato went on to explain about the Heartless to Fenix while she stared at how much crepes costed. Her older sister stood in amazement at how much he knew while Fenix checked how much money she had. "How do you know all of that?" Her older sister asked. "Mao's a bookworm," Fenix replied flatly while looking back at the price of crepes, "Damn it! I don't have enough!!" Masato and her older sister both looked at her. "Have enough of what?" Her sister asked. Fenix smiled, "Enough love!" Fenix went over and hugged her sister while telling her to go back home to rest. Her older sister agreed to that and then left. After her sister was out of sight, Fenix pulled out from behind her back a wallet with a lot of money in it. She took out her own money and then pulled out what was needed to buy a crepe from the wallet. "Where did you..." Masato started and then after recognizing the name on the side of the wallet, he rolled his eyes.
A couple of days passed and Fenix came down with a very bad flu. Everyone forced her to stay in The castle and tried their hardest to get her to stay in bed. She really didn't want to listen but she was feeling weak and didn't really care after she threw up a couple of times. The villages all around the castle town were infested and destroyed by the Heartless, so in the castle town, people ended up setting a barricade around the village in hope to keep them out. Fenix was sick for two weeks when she finally mustered up the strength to go outside. The were guards all around the castle town since it was the only safe place in the country. For now at least. Fenix jumped out of her window with her cloak and hood on with a scarf wrapped around her mouth and nose and went sneaking around in back alleys and side streets when she smelled a sweet scent. Fenix followed the smell and eventually reached a small cafe. She reached in her back pocket and realized that she had no money when Masato stepped up next to her and told her that she shouldn't be outside. It was dangerous and she was sick. Fenix just snorted and asked him why he seemed like he was always around. He told her since they barricaded the town, he really was in town all of the time, and town wasn't that big. He just happen to recognize her cloak. Fenix just glared at him. Ignoring her glare, Masato walked up to the counter and bought two hot chocolates. He walked back to her and handed her one of the cups while ushering her on to walk back to the castle. On the way back to the castle, Fenix noticed a sign that said sale! in one of the windows of a shop. She quickly made her way over to the window only to see that there was a lone tome in it. Fenix looked down at the price for the book with a picture of fire on the front. Being disappointed, she turned around while whining about how everything cool is expensive. Masato laughed and told her how it is because everyone was thinking it was the end of the world so they wanted to die rich. Fenix laughed, "I highly doubt that this world will end because of Heartless."
One week later, Fenix was feeling better even though her doctor required her to still stay inside or at least, stay right next to the castle. She mostly sat on the steps of the castle while playing a sliding tile puzzle when she was bored, which was most of the time. Masato was out on patrol, her mom went missing a couple days back, her master passed away, and to boot, her dad was always fighting with her. He was always saying that they could use the heartless if they could control them. Fenix just thought he was an idiot like everyone else. One day, Fenix just sat on the steps with a bored look while resting her head on her hand when Masato walked up and sat down on the steps next to her. Fenix kept looking forward while Masato said "It's kind of unnerving that they keep moving the barricade closer to the castle each day." Fenix just shrugged. "You look bored," Masato said laughing while looking at her. Fenix turned her head slowly to face him when she said in a sarcastic tone "You think?" Masato looked forward while saying, "I learned a new ability. It's cool, but I'll have to show you later." "Aww, you can't show me now?" Fenix whined while noticing a man bringing a horse to the bottom of the steps. "Nope," Masato said while standing up and walking down to the horse, "I've got to go back to my country. Apparently they are totally infested and they need my help." Fenix got up walked down the steps, "Well, what about this country?" Masato turned around with a smile and then said, "Well, they got you here, and I'll be back as soon as I can." Fenix just frowned while he made sure everything he needed was on the horse. "So your going to leave today. You picked today of all days," Fenix said in an angry tone. "Well, today is the day I got the message so I figured it would be the right thing to do if I left now... Oh yeah!" Masato reached into one of the bags on the horse and brought out a brown book. "Here," Masato said while setting it in Fenix's hands, "Happy birthday." He then gave her a hug while ruffling her hair. He then walked over to the horse and got on. Fenix looked down at the book and saw the picture of fire on the front. It was that tome in the shop! How could he afford this? "How..?" Fenix started but was interrupted by Masato saying, "I don't buy food all of the time like you." Masato waved while kicking the sides of the horse. After being caught off guard by what he said, Fenix laughed and waved back. "Be back soon..."
After Masato left, everyday was basically the same to Fenix, people panicking, having to move the barricade closer to the castle, Fenix getting someone to smash a spider that came too close to her. Fenix was permitted to go to the edge of town which wasn't that far from the castle. Fenix spent most of her days studying spells in her new tome and tripping up the stairs from reading while walking. She found herself once rubbing her nose and picking up her book while staring at a heartless in the castle. She found this a good opportunity to test a spell. A few moments later, a plate of curry was set down right in front of the heartless. Fenix backed slowly away while watching the heartless. The heartless looked at the curry and then took a bite, which resulted in it's body expanding and buldging and eventually exploding. Fenix laughed while realizing that a heartless inside the castle was not a good thing. Fenix turned around to alert the people outside when she saw heartless running through the front door. Fenix being a little more worried turned back around bumped into her dad. He grabbed her wrist causing her to drop her tome and told her how she was destroying these cute black creatures when he allowed to let them in this world. Fenix gave him a shocked look while he laughed. Her shocked feeling quickly turned to annoyance and then anger. Fenix wrapped her leg around the back of her dad's leg and pushed him, causing him to fall and let go of her wrist. She then jumped onto his chest and pushed off resulting in him falling faster. Fenix flipped onto the floor, grabbed her tome, and slide down the railing next to the stairs while the King hit his neck on the corner of a table causing his neck bone to break and puncture his artery while his head slammed against the table.
Fenix darted outside and looked around. The barricade was broken down and there was numerous heartless running around causing terror. Fenix in slight panic, spotted someone on their knees in the distance so she started running over to them while jumping on top of heartless and flipping off of them. When she made it over to the person, she saw that half of their body was missing and was continuing to disintegrate. A heartless lunged at Fenix which surprised her so she stepped back and jumped onto a nearby roof. She frantically looked around for anybody that was alive, but all that she saw was a wasteland on fire and infested with Heartless. Fenix started to run towards the outskirts of the town when she noticed someone having trouble standing up. Fenix stopped running and stood contemplating whether the person was going to turn into a heartless or not. Heartless started to attack the figure so Fenix decided that the person was not turning into a heartless... yet. Fenix darted and dashed between collapsing buildings and heartless while having her tome float in next to her. She started to get ready to cast a spell on the heartless around the person when she noticed that there wasn't any heartless around the person. The person sheathed their sword and moved over to Fenix. Fenix frowned when she recognized the person as Masato... just, a little more beaten up looking. Masato smiled and said "I'm back." Fenix continued to frown. He asked what she was frowning at, when she slapped him. Masato stumbled back and asked "Why did you do that?!" Fenix smiled and said, "Just to make sure it's not a dream." Masato slapped her on the back of the head. "Your supposed to hurt yourself to know if it's a dream or not!" he yelled. Fenix held her head and asked why he was here. Masato just sighed and explained how his country was already in ruin by the time he reached it. He said he went inside and looked around to make sure nobody was alive but when he didn't find anybody, he immediately came back here, and while coming back, his horse got scared and threw him off while running off into the forest, so he had to walk most of the way here. He looked around and stated that things looked bad here. Fenix just gave him a 'you think?!' look. Masato sighed and said "This world probably won't last much longer. Want to see my new ability?" "Now?" Fenix said in a concerned tone. "Yup," Masato said, "Right here, right now." Wind started to stir behind Fenix while a black void opened up. Fenix turned around and looked in the void. She turned back around and pointed to the void while asking "What's that?" "It's a portal to another world, And you will use it," Masato said proudly. "Well what about you? Are you just going to stay here and get destroyed epicly with this world?" Fenix said with a concerned look. Masato smiled, "No, but I can only send one person at a time. So I'll go after you." Fenix was about to protest when Masato gave her a hug and kissed her on the forehead, and then pushed Fenix into the portal. Fenix snapped out of being dazed and watched the portal slowly close while Masato smiled at her. Her eyes started to close slowly as if they were being forced. Fenix's eyes closed and she forced them open only to see a blood flying up from Masato's chest while he and a heartless went falling down onto the ground...
Fenix woke up in an ally of Traverse town. Blinking, she sat up and rubbed her back while trying to remember what happened. She looked down at her tome and realized that Masato was dead, or at least a zombie now. She remembered that the last thing she saw was that his eyes looked frosted over on his pale face. There's no way he could survive losing that much blood from a chest wound. Fenix bit her lip and then sighed. At least he was in a better place, she thought. She then stood up, grabbed her tome, and then walked to the entrance of town where she stood staring at a sign trying to decipher it. She soon give up on that and wandered around when she smelled the sweet scent of hot chocolate. She followed the smell and made her way to a small cafe. Fenix walked up to the counter and asked for a cup of hot chocolate. The man at the counter who had dark brown hair and gray eyes and looked around Fenix's age looked at her, smiled, and then asked if she had money. She pulled out her wallet and then looked inside of it while watching a bug fly out, she didn't even have money from Sukaaretto. She shook her head no while he just laughed. He placed a cup in front of her and told her if she can make it herself, then she can have hot chocolate free of charge. She whined about how she just lost her best friend but the man just shrugged his shoulders and smiled. She got up in a huff, moved behind the counter, and started to mix cocoa powder and other ingredients which eventually lead to a tasty hot chocolate. The man asked her if she needed a place to stay. She nodded while drinking the hot chocolate. He then introduced himself as Alex Sonata and said he would float her a loan to live in the hotel here if she agreed to work at the cafe. Fenix immediately said no and told him that she hardly knew him so she wouldn't work for him. She then left the cafe in a huff and walked around the 2nd district thinking about her options. Alex just stood in the cafe and watched the clock with a smile on his face. Fenix stormed back into the cafe and stood in front of Alex. "I accept the job," Fenix said in an exasperated tone. Alex laughed, "Alright, I want to see you here at 8am." He handed Fenix money for the hotel and food while she glared at him. She began to walk out of the cafe when Alex said, "Hey, what's your name?" Fenix turned around, laughed and said,
"You should've asked that first, it's Fenix."

She works at the Traverse Town cafe currently. sorry for the crappy history and stuff DX Her hair is also naturally wavy,
annnnd she is a theif for hire.
I can't remember if I mentioned this but she is very flexible and acrobatic if that makes sense.
"For the good of all us, except the ones who are dead.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake, you just keep on trying till you run out of cake." - that would be something she would say
Her tome holds recipes.

Class: Mage
Weapons:
Weapon Name: Kaji Tome
Weapon Description: A book that is brown that has a picture of fire on the front. The book has a strap with a lock on the front which can only be opened by Fenix. Wind and Fire spells are written inside.
Unique Notes: When Fenix opens the Tome, it floats in front of her and will stay in front through all of her movements and flips until she closes it. It will also turn the pages for her, it follows her mind basically. She never has to use her hands to open or close the tome. When she is finished using it for the time being, it will close, lock, and then turn into Cherry Blossoms and leaves floating in the wind, then the flowers and leaves will burst into flames, leaving the book for Fenix to summon for another time.
Abilities:
Base Ability: Fire
Sub Abilities: These abilities are in her tome. She has to have her tome to use these.
Fiery Web - ability to create fiery strings that will cover the entire area that she is in, They string around like Lasers protecting something. It's not impossible to escape, but to escape, you would have to be flexible to get through some of the spaces the fire creates. Or you could just tough it out and run through the strings which will just burn you a good amount, they won't cut off a limb or anything. It takes 1 post to complete the web, lasts for 5 turns. The strings will burn about a 2nd degree burn. The strings are 1/2 in in diameter and the entire web is made up from at most, 105 strings. Depending on how big the area is, the web might use all or very little of the strings, She will give you enough room to be able to stand in your spot without having a string go through you, But they will be close to you. Fenix can either move through the strings like they are not solid, or she can grab onto the strings and climb on them like they were solid, if she desires.
Black fire - ability to create... black fire. This type of fire is very hard to see in dark places, not impossible to see, but difficult. It will most likely be placed in shadows of everything including the shadow of her opponent. It's kind of like motion sensor bombs. The fire will just lay in wait for the person to move near it, and then it will explode causing burns and damage to the objects it was hiding near. It will follow the shadows also, it can be easy to evade depending on your reflexes. The explosions vary due to the size of shadows.
Enko Kasai - After Fenix's tome opens up to the specific page, Fenix will make a fist leaving only her index finger and middle finger pointing out. Those two fingers will have a flame hovering in front of the finger tips, and this tiny flame will emanate light in such a way that it gives the illusion that it is an orb of light. She will stretch out her arm in front of her while she moves her entire arm (think of this part like a compass, where north is the sky, and south is the ground) north, south, northwest, southeast, northeast, and then southwest; an orb forming at each point after her fingers reach that specific point. There will be 6 orbs total, all floating in front of Fenix, creating a circle that is no wider than both of her arms stretched out to her side, and no taller than her. The Orbs will glow brightly while a faint line connects all of the 6 orbs of fire creating a visible circle. Immediately after finishing the points, Fenix will rotate her arm once around the entire circle while the orbs start to rotate to her right. While still having the large circle connecting them, the orbs will each get an individual smaller circle forming around them. These smaller circles have elaborate designs in them. After rotating her arm once, Fenix will point her arm towards the sky while a little flame comes shooting out of her two fingers. She then drops her arm to the center of the circle, and when she reaches the middle, another flame shoots out of her fingers. Right after she does that, a big fireball will form above her opponent, and the fireball will split into 6 different parts while zooming down like streams to hit the person. When the attack hits, the circle of orbs will shine very brightly while having what looks like a shock wave forming from the outside of the circle and expanding quickly in every direction. This shock wave can deal a little bit of damage. After the shock wave is gone(which won't take long) The circle will disappear. This attack is rather quick, Fenix can use it in the first post and it lasts only for one post. She can use it many times. You can dodge it, you have to have good reflexes and speed though. It's about medium strength too.
