Appearance:
One of Two.

Kayin is 6'4'' with black hair, blue eyes, and flushed pale skin. He wears either his black caped tunic (long sleeves in this case) with matching black pants, or his old royal yellow uniform. The black outfit is used in battle occasions while his royal yellow uniform is reserved for formal events or gatherings. The royal uniform looks much like the black tunic, except it lacks a cape.
Underneath both of these garments he wears a light mesh suit of mythril; this mesh protects Kayin from little and is rather old.
The only pair of footware Kayin has are black leather boots with reinforcing steel mixed with adamantium and mythril. These are also quite old, but Kayin's strength and ability are not affected by their age or weight.

Personality:
The personality of the ruler of the Light Kingdom of Orbis Terrarum was said to be mystery beyond his normally quiet public appearance. However, his bull-headed rule was shown from time to time in public forum where he would humiliate insubordination or spies. Ruthless to a point, Kayin was his people's ruler and so well thought of, that when he was married by force, riots broke out. It is said that when he spoke he moved the people to a mania from his passionate voice.

All else about this King's personality is unknown, as he keeps to himself. Myth however, says that in battle he was even more brutal and powerful than Priscilla, Queen of the Dark Kingdom.

Weapon Description:
The Miao Dao called Manus de Lumen is a holy relic given to Kayin by the patron god of his kingdom. It is misleading to call this sword a holy relic as it was given to him by a Dark aligned god, then the Miao Dao was the God's personal weapon. This being the case, the Miao Dao reflects the alignment of the wielder and once entrusted to a wielder, it is claimed forever.
It was in battle that the Miao Dao was given the nickname Manus de Lumen, as Kayin was about to make a certain kill it was said the Miao Dao would flash brightly and light up the field like the sun. When this occurred all watched in amazement until the battle resumed (most likely highly fabricated by myth makers).
Like The Claymore, the Miao Dao appears in Kayin's hand on command. It is a weapon that bonds with the user's soul and energy, so when not in use it is stored inside of their body. (Kayin has no requirement of energy to call upon his weapon.)

The Miao Dao itself is a long one sided blade, supposedly made from diamond, steel, and adamantium. It it otherwise indestructible. (Refer to picture for more detail.)

The Sheathed Sword is an otherwise non-impressive short sword that Kayin carries on his back everywhere he goes. He refuses to talk about it, use it, or acknowledge it exists except when he makes sure it is still there when he sleeps and wakes. It is never unsheathed at any time.

Unique Notes:
The Miao Dao is linked to Kayin's soul, even if somehow it were broken or destroyed, so long as Kayin lives he merely needs to dig out enough of his power to re-create the sword (25% of her full power is the minimum needed).
As Kayin is pretty old and lived quite a life, he can't remember the name of the god who gave him the Miao Dao.
The Maio Dao is a cruel weapon, as in order to wield it the user must have a great deal of resilience to withstand the trial of pain it gives. If one can do this, they are the sole wielder of the weapon (their is no indication if anyone can wield this weapon but Kayin).

Abilities:

Base Ability: Blood of the Prophet

Explosive Order:
On his command, Kayin's blood seeps from one of his hands where he then wipes it along the blade of Manus. This blood is a bright red color while on Manus throughout the duration of the ability.

While this ability is in use anything Manus's blade touches will have blood left on it. This blood in turn seeps into whatever object/surface it hits (by whatever means possible, microscopically if it has to) and latches onto it. Once latched to something, the blood will explode within a turn's time. Damage taken from the explosion is moderate (medium level).

Depending on what the blood hits, depends on who describes the explosion and when.
If an opponent or another character are hit, after Kayin's turn where the blood was placed, it will explode at the end of the opponent's following turn.
If part of an opponent's attack is hit, it will explode at the end of their next turn as it would if it hit them.
If anything else not controlled by another member is hit, in Kayin's following turn the explosion will occur.

The actual sword attack will still deal normal physical damage, the blood is simply the add-on that is concluded in the following turn depending on the target.
Air or any kind of spell or magic based attack are not grounds for a surface or object for the blood to attach to.
The blood once placed cannot be taken off, it removes itself in explosion.
This ability once activated lasts for two turns. During this time blood deposited in either turn explodes in the following turn based on what is hit.

As this ability calls upon Kayin's blood, it cannot be used more than three times per page and requires one turn to recharge between use. Additionally, the explosion does not harm Kayin.

Crimson Iron Shield:
Another command ability of Kayin's is that when he is aware of an attack directed at him, blood within him seeps from his body and turns into a gaseous substance surrounding that part of his body. Right before the attack occurs energy from within him fuses with the iron in his blood and creates a translucent barrier/shield.

This shield can withstand any attack except a large attack (in terms of power), however a physical attack paired with a magical attack can break the shield (two different people must attack the shield in this case however). Any other combination will not work.

The shield disappears at the end of the turn. If the shield is broken it will not be usable until the end of the next turn.
Since this ability uses Kayin's blood, it cannot be used more than four times per page.

Scarlet Rush:
On command once per post, Kayin can use this ability to "triple his strength". This simply means that any physical attack of Kayin's occurring in the rest of the turn the ability is used, is tripled in power. In other words, Kayin's usual physical amount of damage being small, becomes large, henceforth for the duration of the ability his physical attacks are considered to have a large amount of power since his strength is equivalent to "large" at this time. All parts of his body are affected by this (thus Manus is used as well, and it effectively is "tripled").

This ability is made possible by the energy displacement his heart creates when it pumps blood, Kayin's Immortal heart is able to endure such a strain without forcing his body to accommodate extra resources. In his heart, the blood is enriched with actual energy. Then blood once pumped from his heart travels throughout Kayin's body and leaves displaced energy wherever it goes, until it returns to Kayin's heart. This displaced energy builds up quietly, only use-able all at once when Kayin activates this ability.

This ability cannot be used more than twice in a row.

History:
Left alone outside the abbey of a patron god of the Ling Kingdom of Orbis Terrarum as a baby, Kayin had never known much of his past. He was raised with other orphans, however he did not particularly enjoying the company of others his age. Noting this, the priest stationed there decided to send the young male to Arx, the capital city of the Light Kingdom, Arx. At the age of ten Kayin was enrolled into the top military academy with backing of his patron god and the faith.

During this time, the rapid rise of the Dark Kingdom under Priscilla's rule was under way and on the minds of everyone in the Light Kingdom. Lands and races belonging to the Light vanished over night to the Dark, only the mortals were spared from this conflict. The King and Queen of the Light Kingdom then found themselves weak and unable to organize a response, and then finally instituted mandatory military service for all males. The Light Kingdom which had never known such a ruling went into an uproar and was made even weaker by a civil war. Finally on the day of his graduating ceremony, Kayin was ready to be sent to the front lines of the conflict. However, to this young lad he saw his kingdom and people in greater need, in the city of Arx he would change the history of the Light forever.

Kayin being the top recruit from his academy and a well known individual due to his backing, requested a hearing form the royalty. When refused he called upon his patron god to challenge this decision. No other challenge was made. And then on that spot his patron god announced he was a prophet for the Light Kingdom and that he was to claim the throne as his own. To make his claim irrefutable, the god gave Kayin the one of kind Maio Dao, the god's very own weapon. And from there Kayin learned of the trial of the Maio Dao, constant pain for forty eight hours, and all of the Light Kingdom flocked to hear and see of this event. He emerged victorious, exiled the old king and queen, and was crowned King of the Faction.

He would become married, lose his wife, and eventually end the war between the two factions. Later he would find he had a half sister. For a time his life was calm, however one day Orbis Terrarum fell apart. In the process of this, Kayin lost most of powers and is barely a fraction his former strength. Since then he has been wondering the worlds looking for his sister and a way back to his world (if it still exists).

When the recent Heartless epidemic broke out and the Keyblade wielder emerged, Kayin decided to watch from the side. He learned of Kingdom Hearts a short while after and decided to abandon following the Keyblade wielders and instead learn of Ansem the Wise and the group called Organization XIII, as they had actual research into this entity he hoped to find. Shortly before Sora and Xemnas's fight, Kayin attempted to intercept Ansem the Wise in hopes of learning more about Kingdom Hearts, however at the last moment he opted out. Kayin now searches for his sister as well as the mysterious Yen Sid, although Kayin is not privy on finding Yen Sid for reasons of his own.

Two things.

Your first ability...I have no problem with, but I'm concerned about what happens if it's a normal sword fight. If there's blood on the sword, and the swords clash, then it's basically an unavoidable hit. Any way to put me at ease about this?

Your third ability, if it is a constant ability, then it needs to be changed.

For your first comment, I believe the following should suffice.

Explosive Order is a shock and awe technique the first time around, it's meant to scare the opponent while dealing some amount of damage. The indication that the opponent should be wary of the sword is the glowing red color that appears on it, they can take that as they want to of course (they can't meta-game into the post what it is of course). However, after the first time the attack is used, there goes 50% of its potency. It certainly can't kill instantly all the time, and even if Kayin tried, he'd fail most of the time.

However to talk about sword battles, the concern is how it would be unavoidable and what makes this attack less so? What makes an area of effect or spell ability avoidable the first time? Nothing. So how do you solve not getting hit? Seeing it happen.

Back to swords, once this attacks occurs the opponent will be wary henceforth in attacking Kayin head on, They'll keep their distance and resort to long ranged attacks or learn more of how the ability works to not risk further injury. If their keen though, they'll be careful of the glowing red blade in the first place. They key here is that sword battles don't always happen, when they do it won't kill instantly and after the time of use it will be an old trick. Battles cause complications and difficulty and part of Battles in RP is dealing with these two categories with your character. If someone kinds they cannot...perhaps their character is not as well rounded as they need be or they're not on the same level of battle RP. (Honestly if I'm the character and I see the opponent has a glowing red blade suddenly I'm not going to match blades with them immediately, I'll going to see what it does or wait for the opponent to show or tell me.)

If you'd like more of an explanation I'll oblige, but when in that perspective I think Explosive Order is not much to worry about. (Remember the limit of use and cool down it experiences as well.)

As for the third ability comment, I'm confused exactly what is wrong with the ability being constant. It makes Kayin stronger than he appears to be, more than the assumed amount of characters on here. This ability serves to explain how the entire ability base works, but the only thing it actually does is make him stronger through displaced energy. Otherwise I'd not have made a sole ability for this. Is there something else I'm missing perhaps?

I believe its the power of a giant and strong enough to tear ANY metal to shreds part that DW is referring to. Heightened strength is a passive ability to a point, but when it goes far enough we like to limit it to shorter uses as temporary enhancement abilities.

PS: Do you really think he looks normally like he's one third the strength of a giant? XD I dunno... how big are these giants? Only three times the size of a human? o.o
