Physical appearance ~ : Michael stands at exactly 6 feet, and weighs approximately 178 pounds. He has the well toned physique of an athlete, but his muscle has no bulk to it, and his build is rather unimposing. His skin is fairly pale, but not quite paper white, and he is devoid of any scars or blemishes. His face is symmetric and in perfect balance, and most would say that he was fairly attractive. His hair is carefully groomed, and gold in color, while his eyes take on a strange, light-purple hue.
Clothing/Accessories ~ : Michael chooses to dress himself immaculately at all times. He wears a white dress-shirt underneath the black jacket of his suit, and black dress pants to compliment it. His shoes are also black in color, and his other accessories include a black hat and white gloves. The one piece of clothing that doesn't meet with his monochromatic theme is his tie, which is a crimson red.

Alignment ~ : Villain
Behavior ~ : Michael is not a bust 'em up brute type of villain, nor a serial killer, or even insane in any way. First and foremost, he is a manipulator. His greatest gift is his mind, and his greatest weapons are his words. He is an intensely charismatic person, and can twist the most dubious proposals into the best possible light. He knows how to push people's buttons, and with many years of practice, he's an expert at bending and molding people's perception to match his designs. He doesn't threaten or coerce people into performing his will; but rather convinces them that it is what they truly want to do.
He dislikes fighting, and views it as thoroughly uncivilized; therefore he avoids confrontation whenever possible-unless he has a loyal minion willing to fight in his place of course. Though he dislikes fighting, he has no morals or values that would prevent him from killing someone, or-as is more likely-having them killed. He does whatever he feels will benefit him personally, and doesn't ever give much thought as to whether he is good or evil. Selfishness is his primary motivator for everything.
He keeps a calm, civil, and friendly demeanor in almost any situation, and it is rare for him to show any true emotion at all; though he is as convincing an actor as anyone, and portrays them almost without flaw. He is a keen observer, and few details escape him; paired with his astonishing intellect, he can create devious plans in seconds, and execute them to perfection. As is required with his trade, he is also an impeccable reader of people; and can guess their thoughts and feelings more often than not.

Bloody Herald- This is the weapon that is summoned when Michael is forced to battle. It is a rapier of magnificent splendor, pure sliver with a perfectly balanced blade-and a magical enchantment that makes it difficult to break, and allows it to harm the heartless and their ilk. This is the pure reflection of Michael¡¦s soul¡Kor it would be if the taint of the bloodstone hadn¡¦t corrupted it. At this point in time, the astonishing weapon is not the purest silver. The hilt is blood-red, and the blade is touched with a line of crimson through the center. Though it retains its power; that power is currently tainted and corrupt.

AP: 10- None Left
Soul Gaze: This is a passive ability that allows Michael to "see" the mood and basic personality, as well as intent, of the people around him. For example, it would give him a signal that shows emotions, and what they are directed towards or attached to. This is done through abstract visions and colors, and keeps him aware of the true feelings of those around him. This would also allow him to be immediately aware if someone around him intended to attck, but it would only make him aware of the fact that they would attack him; not anything about the attack itself. However, if someone had set traps of some sort-he could see their intent and the general location of these traps. This makes him a formidable opponent, both mentally and physically-inside and outside of battle.
Strength: Moderate
Uses: This ability is turned on and off, and is generally used in conversation. Once turned on, it will last for 7 posts before it needs to be turned off, and it needs a cooldown of 4 before it can be used again.
Burn Blade: This is an offensive ability that draws from the power of the bloodstone. When activated, his sword bursts into crimson flames, which-though they burn and cut the opponent-do not act like actual fire. They are a manifestation of heat energy and magic, and take the shape of a medieval broadsword-though they don¡¦t add to the weight of the blade. This energy surrounds the blade, and drastically increases the force of Michael¡¦s rapid blows, turning it into a deadly magical weapon. This blade can be expanded from the end of the sword as well, up to 1 meter in additional length; though it is limited to the shape of a sword. The sword can also slice through objects that a normal sword could not-such as stone or steel-due to it¡¦s increased force.
Strength: Moderate
Uses: This ability can be turned on and off at will, but can only be used for a maximum of Five posts in a row. After the blade disappears, it can not be brought out again for the same number of posts as it was used. If used outside of combat, however, the cooldown is void; concentration and excessive energy use not being necessary in a low stress situation.
Finesse: With the power of the bloodstone flowing through his veins, Michael is quicker than any normal person. He reacts with precision and grace, and moves with the same qualities. This speed is superhuman, but doesn¡¦t go so far as to dodge bullets or anything of that caliber; he is simply a bit faster than the fastest normal runner, and reacts slightly more quickly than the quickest draw in that same group. Though it might not seem like much, a split second can make all the difference-and this ability gives the initiative to the young Avatar more often than not.
Strength: Weak
Uses: This ability is passive, and always active

When Michael was born, the entire town was there to watch. Granted, in a town the size of his, there were only a few people-but this was one of the few times the people gathered for anything. His father was the village elder, so his birth was something of a holiday to the people of that small Hamlet. Their only chance for fame in these times of turmoil was to produce a great knight to send to the King of their Province. Of course-as is usual for small towns-they would do anything for that chance; and so they did with Michael.
He was sent off to be a squire as soon as he met the age requirements, and began his training. The years were tough, but not unpleasant, and Michael quickly made friends among this new society. He was charismatic and charming; and more than one young lady coveted his attention. People were drawn to him because of this, and because of his genuinely kind personality. Only a few people disliked him, and their hatred was always born of jealousy; whether it be jealousy over a particular lady¡¦s attentions, or of his easy success at all matters involving knighthood.
It quickly became clear that Michael had the skill and talent to be the great knight that his village had dreamed of. He excelled at swordplay, able to best most of the knights in the court in a duel; though he preferred the rapier to the typical longsword, outmaneuvering his opponent instead of overpowering them. He also quickly adopted the manners that one expected of a knight, and learned the ways of war more quickly than squires many years his senior. As soon as he finished his training, the was little doubt that he would be inducted into the knighthood; and from his point of view, things could not have been going better.
When he turned 17, however, he fell from his horse while riding alongside his knight, and began coughing up blood. When taken to a healer, it was discovered that he had a genetic illness. It was the same one that had taken his granduncle¡¦s life at a young, and had simply skipped his grandfather and father. There was nothing that they could do to save him from the deadly disease that besieged his body; he would be dead in less than 3 years. The prospect of death horrified him, and this fear ruled his life for the next two years.
He continued life where he had left off before the incident, but he no longer had the spark he once did. It was clear that he wouldn¡¦t become a knight now, and the disappointment of his village was yet another burden that the young man had to bear. He lived in constant fear that the disease would claim his life at any moment; and this fear lead to a dramatic shift in his personality. Where once, he was kind to those he talked to, he now snapped at them with only the slightest of provocation. He no longer followed the Code of Chivalry, feeling that it was pointless now that he was marked for death. Everything that used to matter to him became unimportant; his only desire was to find a way to survive.
It was then that he was visited by a cloaked stranger. This man told Michael that he had heard about the young squire¡¦s plight, and had a solution. Faust, as he called himself, told Michael of a power that could cure any disease, and make its wielder live forever. He then added that this power came with only a minor cost-a pledge of loyalty to the Avatars. At this Michael balked; he knew of the Avatars, and what they were said to have done. The ¡§Avatars of Discord¡¨ were the puppeteers behind the shadows that created wars and destroyed kingdoms; they were to be killed on sight by anyone loyal to the king.
Honor fought with self-preservation; but in the end, the more selfish desire won out, and Michael accepted this offer. Upon his agreement, Faust knocked him unconscious with a ferocious blow. When he next awakened, he could feel power coursing through his veins, the feeling was exhilarating and frightening at the same time. With the power, however, he also felt pain. When he looked down at his body, it was apparent what had happened; someone had cut him open, and put whatever was generating this power directly inside his body.
Faust explained that this power source was known as a bloodstone, and that it was manufactured through a dark ritual that involved the sacrifice of a large number of people. Namely, the members of the village where Michael had once lived. This revelation racked him with guilt, but the feeling wasn¡¦t as powerful as it should have been. A horror of this magnitude should have left him unable to stand¡Kbut he felt more like he had stolen a trinket more than he felt like he had been responsible for the deaths of an entire village due to his selfishness. This, Faust explained, was also part of the bloodstones power. His emotions were greatly depleted in their power due to the hold the bloodstone had on his soul. This was the true price of the power he had been given.
Working with the Avatars for many years, spreading discord across the kingdom, Michael began to have a strange feeling. The young Avatar began to grow bored of the antics of the organization, and feel a need for a greater power. When he asked Faust about this, the leader seemed troubled. He explained that the creation of a bloodstone involved binding a spirit into the foul magic for use as a catalyst. Usually, this enslaved the soul that was bound inside it; but for whatever reason, the soul in Michael¡¦s bloodstone wasn¡¦t exerting as much control. The fact of the matter was that Faust was using the bloodstones to control the other Avatars to do his bidding, and robbing them of individuality in the process.
With his secret revealed, the leader of the Avatars attempted to kill Michael before he could rebel, but with no success. Although Faust was more powerful, the control the soul had exerted over him was now completely passive, only depleting his emotions, and no longer managing his thoughts. This allowed the former prodigy to use all of his intelligence and cunning to escape. He immediately went into hiding, passing himself off as the apprentice of a blacksmith.
When the heartless invaded, Michael wasn¡¦t destroyed with the rest of his world; but like many others, transported to Traverse Town. It was in this moment that ¡§Michael the Sinner¡¨ was born. He gave himself the title, and along with it a new persona. He would no longer be manipulated, but the manipulator. His will would shape many worlds, where as Faust¡¦s had only touched one. As his soul became intertwined with that of the bloodstone, a new being was created. ¡§The Sinner¡¨ would be an enigma that all knew and feared, but wouldn¡¦t recognize on sight. He would be a rumor, a nightmare.
With his new resolve, Michael began to develop a new plan. He would find a source of power greater than that of his bloodstone; and in doing so, free himself of Faust¡¦s legacy. He would do whatever it took to bring his power to new heights; even if it meant destroying other¡¦s hopes and dreams on the way-he would achieve his own.
