It would be hard, Marluxia knew that from the beginning. It may have been beyond Marluxia to thought he could capture this man, or even face him without the intent to kill. If Marluxia had the intent to kill, he would've dispersed into a flutter of petals and while the man was paralyzed, gouged out his eyes and enter his other orifices.
However, Marluxia did not need a dead man. For this reason, and for the success of his assault, was why the Graceful Assassin did not keep his distance and attack from afar. Instead, he chose to be up close...close enough to reach Leon easily after being paralyzed. His speed boost was a boost in reflexes and small movements, not over vast distances, after all.
When fighting a giant blade of fire, one either kept their distance...or kept no distance at all. There was no intermediate distance viable. So, supported by the x3 temporal speed boost, and after intiating Wither and Bloom - Marluxia dodged the initial blow with spin of his body (using the fact that a body held vertically has less width than a horizontal one and the fact that his blaster buds had dulled the man's initial momentum, making it a relatively easy feat).
A simple fact though. Marluxia would not be able to dodge the second. He had realized that was possible. Though his Wither and Bloom was already fast approach Leon...It would not make it in time. Which was why the Assassin needed to keep still Leon's blade, even for a fraction of a moment. But that was impossible with the flames!...Which is exactly why Marluxia had remained close as well. If not the magical fire blade...then the hands that wield it!
Fast as he could, Marluxia whipped out his vines from under his sleeves and his outstretched hand and in a desperate dive, the vines would go to entangle and restrain the Gunblader's hands. Even if he was too late for a complete save, he could at least stop a full swing and dull the damage done...
Whatever the conclusion from their highspeed clash of reflexes and paramount risks...Marluxia had business to attend to with the Gunblader. He needed him alive, and was willing to risk quite a lot to see to that.

Leon had trained his body beyond the point of human limitations. You could say it was a gift from the light of his unwavering heart to help battle the darkness. Whatever force controlled the swordsman now was definitely not light, but it still made use of those traits. Still, while faster than a human being should technically be, Squall Leonhart was still not able to move faster than Marluxia's triple speed, temporary as it may have been. His supercharged reflexes could sense the approach of the vines that would dull the swing of his arms and ruin his chance to deal a strong blow to the enemy before whatever their own attack was hit home, but the man's body could not change what it was already doing at superhuman speed to adjust to this close-range counter.
BOOM!
Leon exploded. Or rather, his hands exploded. The already fiery air around the Bloodfest gained new flames that blasted outward in a two-meter blanket. These sudden embers ate away at the vines that came in to claim Leon's arms, simultaneously pushing them with explosive force while acting on their vulnerability to magical forces. Due to the closeness of the two fighters these new flames would probably also obscured the Neo Superior's view of the Bloodfest, despite it reaching out much farther. Regardless, its clean path was interrupted. Without a body able to react in time whatever force controlled Squall's mind instead used that mind to react, causing one hand to fire explosive No mercy fireball while it was both holding the revolver gunblade. If not for the Guardian Force around the weapon it could have been severely damaged, and certainly without Leon's great strength(Farther beyond human than even his speed) the bomb would have surely thrown it out of his grip.
Instead he let go as he fired to continue holding with one arm fiercely, the course of the swing changing as Leon's trigger finger hand moved up from the shock, turning a horizontal slash into a rotating rising crescent slash through Marluxia's general area(With an attack ranger this wide, general area was often accurate enough). The speed of the twist was enhanced from his existing momentum and the No Mercy explosion, so that combined with it sudden change of direction and the blanket of flames that both obscured normal vision and also destroyed Marluxia's cherry blossom leaves before they could track the Bloodfest within them anyway left it as an attack with very little to give it away in time. Of course, one often paid a price for pulling off such things. There was no way for the swordsman to control the slash any more than that after his insane maneuver, meaning whatever the result of the counterattack he would have nothing more to add. The swordsman's shoulder and wrist would also scream in pain once his arm had flung as far as it could off to the side, whether he hit or missed. His right arm would suffer from any further use in this fight and the battle had only just begun.
Just as his right arm flew up high and his blade pointed up and off to the side after the slash Leon's feet were met by the Withering Bloom. Instantly the man's body jerk in convulsion, then froze up. Teeth grit and eyes locked down, free hand balled into a tight fist and all muscled tensed, Leon was paralyzed on the spot by the Graceful Assassin's technique. The only question now was what state was Marluxia left in to take advantage of it.

[edit: Lord of the Castle]
From the chaos, one would find Marluxia with his back against the wall, battered and worn out, leaning against the wall...yet with a triumphant grin.
What had transpired since that devastating and nigh suicidal explosion? Simple. Marluxia always had a natural affinity with petals and often they floated about his person or could be called to his person with ease. Though it was not complete, a small blanket of petals had buffered, whatever little it could, the explosion Leon's No Mercy occurred...using that buffer and the force of the explosion, Marluxia had allowed himself to be flung off to the side and towards the wall. Perhaps impact with the wall would've hurt him a great deal, had a congregation of petals not gathered there and cushioned his collision to some degree.
Leon's blade would come, however though the blade had length; it was still a blade. Thin. The area it covered with that rising slash was far reaching but not expansive (practically a line as it drew upwards in a crescent). Not a widely covered area to reach Marluxia. As obscured as Bloodfest was, Marluxia would still be able to see its approach and, perhaps from his own natural reflexes, some straggling petals or maybe simply Lady Luck fancied him. Marluxia jerked his body out of the way and thus only lost an arm to the massive flames that rose upwards. Bloodfest burnt his right arm, rendering it useless. No matter. It was disposable.
However. It was already too late for Leon. Perhaps before he had been paralyzed...he should've been more careful where he leapt, especially if that was somewhere approaching the Graceful Assassin. If he wanted to avoid the vines, he should've learnt how to fly. Indeed, Leon would find the remaining two Dark Pools at his feet as he was finally paralyzed by Wither and Bloom. Like serpents, swift and erratic, the several dozen vines from both the Dark Pools rose up like bolts. Paralyzed, Leon could only watch and wonder.
Now, -if- things went well, it was Marluxia's turn. These vines were well covered in thorns. Several would shoot up the sleeves of Leon's pants, tear at his tendons and perhaps even unmentionable facets of his manhood. They would once again bind his movement, this time with an overwhelming number of vines that could easily mummify Leon...which they were practically attempting. Perhaps the most important feature was that many vines shot up at his hands, digging deep into them with thorns and wriggling through his the palm of his firm grip in order to finally deprive him of his prized weapon (If so, then certainly at least one vine would be delegated the duty of picking up the gunblade by the handle and tossing it into the abyss).
Let us not forget how powerful these vines can be, given the right grip which the paralysis would've alloted time for...they could break bones. Leon's legs and arms would be the intended targets. Had he not been paralyzed, Leon may have made another superhuman leap, this time out of danger. As things stood, however, these binding vines would cover Leon once again, many more times than before and even should he use No Mercy to blast at them...there were simply too many and they regenerated at a rapid rate. Could he really free himself without his gunblade?
That was not all. What possibly possessed Leon to think that he could leave the Blaster Buds alone? Were they not significant enough a threat? He would pay for that carelessness, he would find himself with several bouts of corrosive acid shot directly into his eyes, nostrils and ears.
*If all came to pass as the Neo Superior intended, then Leon would be dragged down into the abyss of the dark pool as if it were quicksand...And, just like that, Marluxia too would disappear. While not his intended target...this may be an even greater prize.
*If not, however...

"Combat Mode Activated..." OOC: Gonna relate everything between the sudden time pause of Xaldin and myself, to get us back into the frame and all.
Perhaps the loss of attention from Xaldin was a ray of shinning light. He was enthralled with the darkness that was festering with RGRC's Leader. So much so, that the pain which shot through him was ignored. Thus he was fired at again, this time aimed for the legs. Such shots would render his legs out of commission, as they went straight through the backside of the knee. Utilizing her Modification ability, the size of the emission was doubled. Thus they went from 4' approx to eight. At such a size, the very bone could easily be disconnected. Alas, that was just the area damage. The actual strength of the shot (as it lacked any weight change to match); was the same.
Thus if all went well, there would be no High Jump. Xaldin was very much grounded and susceptible to the onslaught of Leon. Meanwhile the Neo Superior had avoided the attack aimed at himself. No matter, De-Resolution would occur for both of them. Oriana had continued her march towards the unidentified strangers. Closing the gap between them and the user whom beckoned for Tron. In this way, should Xaldin still be able to jump or chose to attack with his lances still. The angle of attack would be different. Though of course, being that close now, meant that she was within friendly fire distance.
It also meant that Xaldin would either be in range, or have made it to the skies pending his own actions. Regardless, Marluxia was not the only one whom had to deal with the reckless abandon of the swordsman. Considering the two were heavily locked in combat, Oriana did not chose to attack. At that range it would be too easy to attack her "Ally", especially after the stunt that Marluxia pulled previously. Instead she was quite alert, temporarily focusing her attention on the actions of all present. Making sure to keep some distance from the initial conflict (the first strike), she'd have to be weary of the high speed follow-up just like Marluxia.
Unfortunately for the Nobody, he had lost an arm in the exchange; whilst Oriana protected herself. This protection also allowed for additional time, time the gunblader did not have. Wither and Bloom was indeed heading towards Leon. Considering her position during the explosive slash, it would allow her to move towards her ally. Thus Marluxia would end up slammed against the wall and Oriana would meet Leon just as he was paralyzed. The dark pools which gathered at his feet needed Leon to be hit with Whiter and Bloom before their own assault. Thus there was a small time before they would launch up his body. A time which was easily exploited by the program. For the moment she got close to Leon, her Shield would include him in the distance. Thus the duo were now protected, the vines would find themselves hitting up against a wall. One which would keep them down unless the dark pools could shift in position. Even that was of no use, unfortunately. The energy of the shield itself would act as an efficient ward and within the protection, Oriana could get to work.
Substituting the multipurpose knife, she'd fire a new one at the legs of her ally. Considering she couldn't harm the outside world, it did not protect anyone from within from being harmed. Likewise, considering the state of her ally, it was best that he was temporarily immobilized. At least until she could gain the time to do something better for him. Perhaps the shock would bring some sense back into the RGRC leader, if not then Oriana would deal with him and the threats.
----------------------
Nothing like Action Recaps:
1) Took advantage of Xaldin's distraction to get another useful hit in. 2) Stuck close to the Nobodies whilst allowing the skirmish to temporarily continue, least until some distance was made between the two. 3) Rushed in during the explosion to grasp Squall whilst separated, thus protecting him from the vines.
For this last part, I've got an alternative in case the speed of this is an issue and willing to edit if it's too much of a problem, else let the games continue.

[ooc: Hmmm, hmmm. Alrighty.]Moments before impact, Xaldin's world expanded. It was difficult to describe the feeling - one moment he had been blind, figuratively as well as literally. And then his world ballooned outwards. He could feel the wind again. Read it. But there was so much more... his brain had rooms and vestibules and corridors that had never existed. He could read the flows of data and-
Hmmm. Another attack. Annoyance.
Aero ballooned around him. Two pinpricks of light bounced off of the wind and were no more. Already rather weak, the attacks' only saving grace had been where it'd been aimed. Now that Aero had taken care of that minor detail, even the force of the attack had barely budged Xaldin more than an inch.
Tap.
There had never been such an acuity of sound and motion before. And his thoughts were... startlingly clear. Xaldin hopped upwards, spun and floated at five feet facing Oriana. He had meant to jump but that had been before the attack and his sudden expansion in awareness. With his back no longer unprotected by ignorance, he could allow himself to remain in the line of fire. Then he ran - four lances arrayed beneath and in front of him to cut off any thought of getting beneath the floating warrior - and one lance in each hand as was proper. The chosen battlefield was more a narrow cliff than a field proper - there would be no going around him either. Oriana would have to defeat the lancer before proceeding to aid her comrade. Action recap: -Engaged Aero - half damage taken (stamina and health), weak wind damage when within 3 feet, etc. lasts 4 posts. 2/3 uses left. -Re-engaged all passive abilities. Notus (5 feet floating) and Eurus (spherical view of the world) are now both in effect. -Running towards Oriana - they will meet at an indeterminate distance away

... these vines were well covered in thorns. Several would shoot up the sleeves of Leon's pants, tear at his tendons and perhaps even unmentionable facets of his manhood...
If Leon regained his senses and remembered this later he might subconsciously be thankful about not technically having conventional pants(And probably not any unmentionables either) for the vines to snake into since his body had become the glowing blue digitized version of Space Paranoid's inhabitants. That wouldn't change his position of helplessness though; he was still paralyzed. Long enough only for one assault, but near-mummification by thorny vines was surely an efficient one. His arms and legs wouldn't break easily. He had his own great strength in those limbs, aforementioned tensing by the paralysis helping to exploit that, combined with a supernatural layer of protection that wouldn't easily budge. Still, the vines were many and the vines were powerful. It would only be a matter of time before they could achieve such a goal and they were certainly straining his body in the meantime. They raked at his right hand to try and relieve him of his weapon, who's flames had died away now and left nothing but ordinary steel in his grip. This too would not be an easy thing to pry free from the superman, but his fingers were quickly loosening They were no match for the power of the snakes. His would-be ally in the struggle would have tried to help him avoid the great mess he was in, but Marluxia's own wasn't about to let it happen. No help would be coming in time for the lionhearted warrior.
Getting out of his mess also happened to be the farthest thing from Squall's possessed mind.
Boom came the muffled but tell-tale sound of Leon's left hand firing his signature spell. As expected, the outer layers of the entanglement simply compressed inward toward the hand as their internal layers disintegrated from the magic they were weak to. Its expansion of flames was blanketed by more vines rising to cover where their moving borhter shad been though. Marluxia would have already anticipated this: The desperate struggle of a captured victim who had lost all true sense of a warrior. Squall seemed little more than an animal now, after all. He lashed out predictably, but one fireball would not be enough to help him at all now.
So then... how about ten?
Fifteen?
Twenty-nine?
boomboomAAARR BoomBoomBoomRRRRGGGGGGG BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMGGGGGGHHHHHHH BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Unlike Marluxia's Cresent Wave or even most conventional recharging magic used by warriors today, Leon's No Mercy differed. Instead of recharging after use Leon simply allotted himself its power spread across his entire personal magical limit. Whether he fired one at a time or 30(Or 29) in a second was up to him. One of them had already been fired earlier during the failed attack against Xaldin that Marluxia had ruined with his arrival. Now every last one of them was used to return the favour. Roaring like a beast Leon emptied his entire clip from his left hand like a machine gun going off. The first was muffled and expected, but a split second later two more fire din much more rapid succession, barely indistinguishable. They hammered off two more layers of vines and added to the bubble of flames they contained. Said bubbled erupted outward as three more fired simultaneously immediately after ripped it apart from three points, spreading searing red fire around the thin walkway. But that wasn't enough. Literally without so much as a pause in the magical firing, so much so that only Leon's own superhuman reflexes would have been able to distinguish the different phases of the firing bombs, ten casts of No Mercy were loosed at once, three across the floor between him and Marluxia, four marking the space on either side, and three more marking the air above, In a cone-like spread they moves, exploding against the floor and walls and creating an even more intense storm of fire. Along with this storm, however, came blasts of force. With the reflexes stolen by the force using Leon's body he would tell where Marluxia was at the instant of firing and center this volley as best he could. With those same reflexes he could also abort the final volley quickly if it became obvious Marluxia had somehow avoided his attempt, saving what charges he could for a more successful pursuit.
But coudl the Graceful Assassin truly escape? On the tin walkway, with Leon in the middle and Marluxia hismelf against the way not far away(He had intentionally kept close the whole time, after all) the point-blank distance was against him. Marluxia's superior speed was still unavailable to him and even turning into petals to flee wouldn't outrace their small space before the cores fired at point-blank range(The walkway itself was barely more than 2 meters across as it was) enough to completely avoid their spreading fire and explosive force. It was a net, in a sense, designed to fill the space around and between the two combatants with splash force that pushed anything trying to get out back towards the center or toward the caster of the spell, depending on their chosen route of of escape.
The last thirteen No Mercy shots went back to being nigh-simultaneous rather than truly, and followed the spreading blast at the same rate that they were firing after each other than that the spreading blast had fired from the ones which had burst Leon's living tomb. Like the already-stated machine gun these shots filled the space within the force net with more shots, each one a powerful bomb in its own right that would add even more heat to the centralized inferno Squall had created. These would aim into Marluxia himself as best they could be, but not in a straight line; slightly wavering from the course of the one preceding it so that a more heavily battering and accurate series of shots could be created while still staying within a human-sized target area. Would Marluxia summon petals to buffer them? Leon had created an environment in which the petals couldn't truly come into existence without instantly losing all their mass in burning up. Would more vines attempt to get in the way? The environment had become hostile to these magic-weak obstacles as well, and Marluxia's own personal Dark Pool may still be out of commission anyway if the blade within the core of Bloodfest had touched his body when his right arm was burned up. A counter of his own projectile? One vs many would easily be overpowered. His special spinning attack? The force waves from the blasts that had been shot to his sides would knock it off-balance immediately even if he tried, since they were closing inward from all angles. An escape up and over Leon, attempting to ride the force blast and flames past him safely, though he may be burned up a little still in the process? Were Marluxia's reflexes and speed enough to get him that far before the aimed shots started ripping toward his form? Were they enough to get past Leon's own reaction speed?
As stated, freeing himself was the farthest thing from the thoughts of the thing Leon had become. Only completely destroying his target remained alive in this consciousness. Whatever danger it was in would be passed if Maluxia were defeated and whatever injuries taken were worth it if the opponent fell. Of course, having filled the space around him with fire that harmed everything but himself, even the vines that encased him were not much of a threat any longer. A mere coincidence, but a useful one. Leon's limbs carried new aches from the breaking-point stress they were put under, but even with their regeneration rate the vines wouldn't be able to stay on him as multiple waves of flames that destroyed them easily washed over his form repeatedly because of the small and nearby area the bombs were being fired into. The waves would even scorch across the surface of the Dark Pools themselves. Could they take that much punishment from being near so many individual moderate blasts and stay active before they dispersed and the vines all vanished as a result anyway? The floating gun turret flowers, ignored earlier because they were not Marluxia himself and that made them inconsequential to destroy regardless of their threat level, could still fire their acid at the now-berserker swordsman's face, of course, but if they got into position anywhere in front of him to do so(As one imagines they would have had to) then they weren't likely to face very well themselves, if only in having their aim thrown out of focus from all the explosions going off around them(Leon would use his super-sense to aim around them at first, of course, or else they might throw off the blast points of his shots). The monster Squall had become could handle enduring the shots and the burns if they still came though since his Guardian Force resisted the burning as much as it could for him. His eyes would burn, but he could still stare out of them for a second. Long enough to make sure Marluxia was on the receiving end of his fury before giving in to the pain.
The mind wanders back to the mentions of Leon's current Space Paranoids body. It would seem that it no longer glowed with blue lines as it had before. No, that was distinctly a red pattern that he sported now as a dark smoky aura billowed from his screaming form...

[Thanks a lot for your patience guys, I'm sorry, but I'll have to ask you to hold up for a bit more <sigh> Feel free to simply take RGRC, actually and work out some conclusion if that's what you prefer. It's already been more than 3 days after all.
Exams this week, chances are I won't be able to post, but I will get to it on Friday. If you can hold out that long...
Also, if that's alright, someone tell me as to the nature of our ceiling? If indeed we have one?]

[We are essentially in the Space paranoids' equivalent of "outside" right now, so we have no ceiling.
And the new rules about 3 days aren't up yet so waiting is fine. Dei and FSA, since we went ahead of you two for a few rounds feel free to take a couple of rounds for yourselves while Akito frees up his time to wrap this thread up]

Marluxia really wished the man would stay put. He would not become so hurt if he simply stayed still. When Leon saw fit to barrage the Graceful Assassin, it was clear that escape would prove...difficult.
When the first shot came, Marluxia decided he would face the flames. In his own way, naturally.
The Graceful Assassin leapt backwards, away from the wall and towards Xaldin.
Now, normally the fireballs would follow his escape and crush him where he leapt. However, Marluxia had sent clog after clog of petals towards the defender of Radiant Garden. These fireballs seemed to explode upon contact, so let contact be forced upon them. Let them explode prematurely. A gush of petals would fly towards the source of the fireballs, Leon's hand, disregarding losses. Indeed, they were no buffer or shield, but rather sacrificial lambs.
With every contact, every prematurely forced explosion, certainly it would blow away many petals, but there were so many. The scattered petals would touch and ignite other fire balls, or their remnant ashes would (perhaps even the force exerted from one fire ball would affect the others near it?). Leon had 29 fireballs left. Marluxia had many, many times that number of petals. And for every one petal that contacted, a fireball was prematurely nullified. Not to mention the simple fact that, however rapid, the fireballs were released from Leon's hands one at a time. Whilst Marluxia's petals came all at once, a swarm. Each one intent on nullifying a much larger fireball and causing early explosions that were closer to Leon than anything.
That was not all, of course. As he leapt back, Marluxia let loose Crescent Waves after Crescent Wave. True, it could not compare to the rate at which Leon fired fireballs. However, each Crescent Wave burst into scattering explosions of petals. And if even one of those struck another fireball, it would explode.
This was the wall Marluxia built between himself and Leon's onslaught of fireballs. Certainly many forceful explosions would be incurred, but Marluxia's attempts would try and localize it near Leon. Certainly, even with this method, some outer rim force would still reach Marluxia from the onslaught and this would drive the Graceful Assassin further back. He would stop himself at a safe distance, next to Xaldin, stopped from being pushed any further by a conveniently placed Lance at his back like an erected pole.
This was how the Graceful Assassin fought, deftly turning aside the vicious rain of blows. Marluxia's Crescent Waves were nowhere near the level of speed and power the Fireballs had, but they had their advantages and once Leon ran out of fireballs (whereas Marluxia could keep an ample supply of petals and waves); well, Leon's hands and feet would become prime targets. He had intended for this battle to be over by now. Had he miscalculated the ferocity of this darker Leon?

If you can't stand the heat...
Leon had thirteen fireballs left in his arsenal after the "net" shots that Marluxia had buffered with petals to squeeze through the blast radius toward Xaldin. Three more from the rapid-fire after followed after him, all met by more petals. Marluxia intended to keep the explosions close to Leon though. This left the side effect of very quickly flash-frying any remaining vines and overwhelming the dark pools below him, destroying them in the multiple Moderate explosions. Leon's body itself was engulfed quickly, though the fire harmed not a hair on his head.... not that this digital body actually had hair anymore. For now he was free of the petals as well, though any of those floating flower that hadn't gotten burned up might still be firing blindly into the blaze at him. Well, the man was a Tireless Protector. he could keep his stamina going under damage for much longer than a normal man or Nobody could.
Two more fireballs followed the Graceful Assassin toward Xaldin. Though Marluxia could create more and more petals as he wished, one thing he couldn't do was create petals that would detonate the swordsman's spells inside the still-existing blast radius of the last one to go off. Since the fire burned in the air for a few ample moments before fading away that created a growing path of safety for the No Mercy shots to move through, especially if they burned longer by using the petals themselves as fuel. The weight of them all stacked together might have created a better buffer, but the strong point of No Mercy wasn't in its elemental force, it was in its raw impact and blast strength to punch through.
The Neo Superior seemed to be completely in control however and quickly fired off his Crescent Waves, large projectiles capable of traveling into the flaming areas to intercept the next No Mercy before it got clear. As a downside, each one would also sequentially release a new batch of petals and add more fuel to the surrounding fires, causing them to burn farther and longer for a few moments. As expected, the first Crescent Wave impacted perfectly against the next shot inside the existing danger zone, sparing Marluxia a plasma bath. The second did the same, only a little bit farther back than the first.
The third hit nothing but burning air.
An explosion went off a meter from Marluxia's feet, a handful of precious centimeters off to the Flower-manipulator's left, creating a two-meter cloud of punching force and fire capable of reaching both he and Xaldin. Utilizing Leon's super reflexes this dark persona recognized the premature blast of the first shot to hit the Crescent Wave based on how many milliseconds sooner it had detonated than it should have. Though he could not see Marluxia through the flames and his next shot had already been fired before the one before it was intercepted, it was still possible for the berserk Squall to make an instant adjustment and alter the course of the third round to hopefully move by the side of the interference and at least catch the pink-haired target in its wake if not its impact. The flames had drawn close enough to Marluxia for him to feel some of their strength even with the Crescent Waves, so even if a petal floating in the air was there to meet this last one immediately outside of the burning area to set it off it would still be well within range, and even then Marluxia's radar wouldn't alert him to the petal's destruction or his senses detect that his last Crescent Wave hadn't hit its mark until it was too late to react normally.
Five charges of No Mercy remained... but at least only Leon himself knew that.

"Why would he approach me...?" Xaldin had returned to his non-digital glory, perhaps even surpassed it. His senses were alert, the winds guiding him to victory. With his lances materialized, he'd proceed to charge forward towards the program. Likewise, Oriana noticing his maneuver, prepared her weapon and dashed straight towards him. What happened next was dependent on the actions of her opponent. Regardless, the program could not aid the user just yet. There was a great battle being waged behind Xaldin. The Neo Superior was in combat against the user, fortunately the user was holding up. It would result in the Neo-Superior being pushed back, yet he would not be able to come close to Xaldin without Oriana being right there.
Likewise, Oriana would engage her opponent. De-Resolution would be imminent unfortunately, the program followed it's code religiously. Her Multipurpose Weapon in sword mode, she would attempt to strike at Xaldin's mid-section. Alas this was just a ploy, it meant to increase her range and close the gap between them.

ooc: Leon's multi-attack happens in your next post? Or...?
ic:
Xaldin was not the tallest Organization member. That honor went to Lexaeus who could have probably passed as a small giant on some of the more fantastic worlds that existed inside the multiverse.
The lancer was, however, hovering five feet in the air. Four of his lances, nearly as tall as he, were arrayed beneath him ready to skewer the impromptu guest. His reach, if nothing else, far outclassed that of his opponent who was, apparently, trying to chop into his liver. The angle was poor, the weapon held mechanistically - if not for the fact that he had a (lingering) attraction towards one-on-one fights he would have simply skewered her as she lay open and vulnerable to attack and headed back to defeat Leon.
Time would tell if he would regret listening to the echoes of his absent heart.
"You should aim for my feet," he said, unkindly as he slapped the sometimes-sword away with one lance (away from her - it would be difficult to block with the sword) and shoved forward with the other lance. Beneath him, his remaining lances were ready to poke holes into the slightest show of weakness. The moment she took to the air or dodged... Action recap: -block with one lance, counter with another. If Oriana moves to dodge in any direction, two of the hovering lances will go in to attack. If she tries to break through, all four will.

"He enjoyed confrontation, yet he still had purpose." It was clear that Xaldin's reason for engaging the program was simply to prevent it from carrying out it's function. That function was to assist the user and protect the system. Thus he ran, five feet in the air no less. Oriana was...a short being, no matter how one sliced it.
The gap was fairly large at that, the action of attacking the mid-section would never reach considering Xaldin's height and float, compared to her own. Technically she'd be lucky to attack the feet considering. Thus the reason for her own extended range was to enhance the area for her shield. The lance to block the strike would simply be met with the shield itself in it's compressed form. Rather than focusing the shield outwards to 5M, she focused so that the shield had more vertical focus. Considering the nature of the shield, particularly in this digital landscape it was not easy to detect at all. Thus when her hand moved downwards, the shield itself moved too, serving to smack the floating organization member away; like a hammer or a bat.
At which point he'd be tossed towards Squall and the Neo-Superior, their own fight involving a lot of projectiles, particularly; fireballs from Squall. Still the damage itself would not be nearly as bad since Aero was activated, it was more so the force of it that counted. Especially since Oriana never ceased her run. Now with said shield in place, Oriana became a tank. Charging full speed ahead towards the Neo Superior and Squall. It didn't matter if stray fireballs came her way, they'd simply bounce off the shield itself.
What should be a concern was that she'd be plowing the Neo-Superior next considering the narrow passageway.
