As many can tell just by looking at her, Yuffie is the youngest of her allies within the Restoration Committee. [ Not counting Sora and co., of course, but they’re just honorary members, so nyeh. ] And sadly, though she hates to admit it, it's true. As mature as she may want people to think she is at times, and as much as she would like for people to acknowledge her as a freakin' adult for once, it's just not going to happen. Everything about her just screams 'I'm immature, so look at me as though I'm a child.' For one, she's short. Really, really short, actually, even for someone of her somewhat young age. She also has what many people would call a 'baby face', complete with a small nose, massive dimples, and wide eyes that make it seem as though she's only taking the world in for the first time. Even her hair, which is black in color and which hangs down to cover her right eye, seems as though it was done by a capable adult, not someone like her. Cheerful brown eyes sit beneath her bangs, and can, surprisingly enough, turn cold and terrible at a moment's notice. As one would expect, the rest of her body is similar to the way many other teenagers bodies are shaped: long and gangly. She's very thin, a fact that she seems to be unable to do anything about, no matter how much ice cream she scarfs down. A pity, really. She's getting quite tired of Ruth telling her to go eat a sandwich.
Yuffie’s choice of clothing is rather unique in that she has chosen to combine the traditional ninja clothing – which mainly consists of dark colors that allow the wearer of them to blend in with the darkness – with comfortable, everyday clothes that many residents of Radiant Garden wear. The ninja usually can be found wearing a navy-blue tanktop with a Hawaiian-themed flower design on it, underneath a sleeveless dark-grey vest. Both of these stop just below her rib-cage, causing her midriff to be revealed, something that she’s generally known for doing. Her shorts, khaki in color, fold back over a belted hip-pack, in which she holds her stash of shurikens for easy access. Across her forehead, she wears a blue-and-white bandanna, which mainly serves as a means to keep her hair out of her eyes. She couldn’t exactly fight with hair flying every which way, now could she? On her right wrist she wears a white wristband, as well as a blue cloth over her left hand. Khaki-colored, laced knee-high boots with blue socks cover her feet and most of her legs, as well as providing fairly good grip on even the most uneven of surfaces.

Behavior
Even when it comes to her personality, Yuffie is elusive. Despite what people may think, she really isn’t easy to describe, due to a variety of circumstances. But in the event that one wished to try, surely the first few words that would come to mind would be ‘immature’, ‘loud’, and ‘hyperactive’. And while those three words do describe her to an extent, she is actually quite a bit more complex than one may think. Yes, she acts like this carefree, playful girl, who hasn’t got a care in the world, but that’s exactly what it is: an act. She doesn’t want people to see the other aspects of her personality, as she believes that, if she was to let them see, she would lose that aspect of surprise that she holds in her arsenal. But perhaps the best way to begin describing her is to explain the side that everyone knows; the one that she actually lets people see.
Yuffie is actually a rather fun-loving individual, despite the rather tragic events that she’s gone through in her life. She loves nothing more than to kick back, relax, and play the occasional prank or two on her fellow Committee members. Along with this comes her carefree nature, as she seems to be able to keep her cool in the most dire of circumstances. Sure, she realizes the danger of whatever the situation may be, but she really doesn’t see the point of freaking out about it. Doing so just makes matters worse, anyway. She can also be quite friendly, and she has no problem approaching people that she hardly knows and engaging them in conversation. But contrary to popular belief, she isn’t gullible. Quite the opposite, actually. Her constant desire to speak to people she hardly knows is actually a rather devious plan of hers: make friends with people she doesn’t recognize, and if they pose a threat, let the Committee know. And while doing this puts her in danger, she's come to realize that the protection of Hollow Bastian is far more important than her own safety.
Even with that said, she isn't all smiles and laughs. She is a ninja, after all. And being a Kisaragi makes it that much worse. After all, the family motto is 'steal first, ask questions later'. Granted, her years fighting alongside her fellow heroes have stopped her... less-than-heroic actions, to an extent, but she still occasionally finds herself doing so. She hates this fact, as being a thief is anything but heroic, but she really can't help herself. And while it's make her feel as though she isn't quite as connected with her make-shift family as she used to be, she realizes that she can't just stop cold turkey. Heck, she might not be able to stop. Ever. As the last surviving member of the Kisaragi clan, she feels as though it's her duty to carry on the legacy, even if it means doing some... less-than-heroic activities.
As complex as she may be, Yuffie knows that she needs to keep her priorities straight. As long as Hollow Bastian and her fellow Committee members are safe, she'll be happy.

Primary Weapon(s)
ID
Conformer.
Quality
Fine.
Despite the rather awesome name -- because, let's face it, the name 'Conformer' is, in fact, amazing -- Yuffie's weapon isn't really all that impressive. The Conformer is your typical fuma shuriken, which is also known as the 'windmill shuriken', or the 'windmill of death'. Appropriate names, considering how deadly the weapon can be in capable hands. The Conformer is made up of four steel points, each of which is just as sharp and as flawless as they were the day that she was given it. These four points are connected by two interlocking wooden handles. Yuffie holds the weapon where the two handles intersect, allowing her to utilize all four points at once.
[Boomerang]
While Yuffie has a tendency to use her Conformer as a melee weapon -- a rather strange choice on her part, but what the heck -- she is also quite capable at using the thing as a ranged weapon as well. And while this is mainly due to her training, it is also, in part, due to a small targeting Gummi -- a 'gift' from Cid -- that she has implanted in the handle of the weapon. Now, as long as the Conformer is within a twenty foot range of Yuffie's location, she can call it back to her with a snap of her fingers. It will fly directly towards her, although it is unable to move through obstacles such as walls, barriers, or other things that might get in it's way. If such as thing should happen, Yuffie would have to go and retrieve the thing herself. A pain, but whatever.

[Shurikens]
Yuffie has a healthy stock of shurikens on her at all times, as any good ninja should. They're nothing special to look at, really: silver, with four little points, perfect for whipping at her opponents or for distracting them while she moves in for the kill. Each of these shurikens has the Kisaragi family's crest engraved on them, ensuring that each and every one of her targets knows who it was that just kicked them in the face. These are generally kept in the pouch on her left hip, although she has others hidden in various spots on her body in case she is forced to fight without said pouch on her person.

AP left: 4.
[Greased Lightning]
Throughout various generations, this technique is one that has been passed down through the Kisaragi family, and was taught to Yuffie just before her parents passed. Leaping backwards into the air and drawing one of her shurikens from the pouch on her leg, she sends a bit of her energy into the weapon, granting it a green aura. After doing so, she whips it at her foe, where it proceeds to act as a homing missile of sorts, following her target at a speed of ten miles per hour. The weapon is surprisingly mobile, and can even turn fast enough to rise over ledges, or move around corners, without colliding with said obstacle. However, after following it's prey for twenty-five feet, the ability wears off, and the shuriken just drops to the ground, any danger it might have posed fading immediately. The chances that her opponent will realize that Yuffie is about to perform this technique are quite slim, as there is only really one sign. As she leaps and tosses the weapon in one motion, there is a very short period of time for them to dodge to either side, although doing so really wouldn't do much, as the weapon would just chase after them anyway. No, if her foe can notice the green aura around the shuriken, they have the opportunity to raise their weapon and parry the attack. Therein lies the major flaw in this technique: on any contact with metal, no matter what kind of metal it is, the shuriken will drop to the ground. Exactly why this happens, nobody is sure, but it just does.
Strength
Weak.
Uses
One post cooldown.
[Landscaper]
It is a well-known fact that most ninja clans associate themselves with an element. This element can be anything from fire to ice, thunder to water, etc. etc. The Kisaragi clan, however, associate themselves with the power of earth. Yuffie herself reflects this, as she maintains a certain degree of control over the earth itself, otherwise known as Geokinesis. While most members of the clan use their geokinesis to levitate rocks and dirt and other boring things, Yuffie has decided to use it way that's a bit more... flashy. Simply by pointing in any given direction, Yuffie can cause the earth to ripple up in waves that are about ten feet high and twenty across. These 'waves' don't do very much damage at all, but can work as an effective shield, as well as a fairly good way to scatter the enemy forces. This wave moves at about fifteen miles an hour, and comes to a stop once it either reaches a distance of twenty feet, or is struck with a Strong-level ability.
Strength
Moderate.
Uses
One post cooldown.
[Steal]
One thing that sets Yuffie apart from many of her ninja brethren is simply the fact that she is not just a ninja. She's a very capable thief as well. And that is where this ability stems from. While it's always fun for her to use her own skills to beat an enemy up, she also finds it rather convenient to get a bit of use out of theirs as well. Namely, their equips and items. In the heat of a battle, Yuffie is able to literally steal an equip or item off of one of her opponents. For the duration of the battle, this equip/item stays in her inventory, and is unavailable to the target she has chosen to steal it from. When the battle is over, however, the original owner of said item/equip has it returned to them. While items don't really have different limitations to them, (as they can only be labeled as unused and used, really) any equips that Yuffie steals retain their normal values. For instance, if a foe has used one of their magic equips, Yuffie will have one less to work with. Not a big deal, but important to note nonetheless. To 'steal' and item/equip, Yuffie must simply touch an opponent. even the slightest brush of her fingers is enough.
Strength
Moderate.
Uses
Yuffie can only copy two equips and one item per battle.
[Copycat]
This ability is rather similar to 'Steal' in that it allows Yuffie to use the skills of her foes against them. However, rather than stealing her opponent's items/equips, 'Copycat' enables her to literally steal the abilities of her opponents. She can only steal up to the equivalent of six AP's worth of abilities, but even still, this can be an invaluable skill in battle. Whatever abilities she steals maintain their same limitations, such as cooldown times and range limitations. This, of course, makes weapon abilities immune to theft, as she would need the weapon itself to perform said abilities. [This limitation can be overruled, should she be mimicking someone via the equip 'Morph C', as it gives her the character's weapon.] One important thing to note is that Yuffie needs to actually see the skill in use to make it available to her. For instance, if a foe was to have enhanced strength as a result of an ability, she would need to see an example of this strength before she would be able to take it. All stolen abilities are returned to their original owners after battle.
Strength
Strong.
Uses
Yuffie can steal up to 6 AP worth of abilities per battle.
[Bloodfest]
Some have been known to refer to Yuffie as 'Radiant Garden's resident bloodhound', mainly due to the fact that she can never seem to let a foe get away. Bloodfest is basically an ability that encompasses all of Yuffie's athletic prowess, from her ability to run at up to two times the speed of a normal person, jump twice as high, perform unmatched parkour skills such as the ability to climb up a wall with few to no handholds, etc. etc. To many, it may seem like she is some kind of animal, leaping from rooftop to rooftop without the slightest bit of hesitation. And quite frankly, she is an animal, who isn't afraid to hunt down her opponents and decimate them. So watch out for her, eh?

2. Kisaragi Hidden Technique -- Transformation!Also known as 'Morph C'. This technique allows Yuffie to take on the appearance of anyone she has met before, or is currently in the presence of. She does this by striking a pose, at which time she is surrounded by a cloud of smoke and leaves. When the smoke fades, she is revealed in the form of whoever she is mimicking. The same effect applies when she is returning to her own form.

~ History ~
"I guess that's why we're still breathing."
[/b][/i]"I guess that's why we're still breathing."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As the name may imply, many people considered Radiant Garden to be a place of beauty. A utopia that basically put all others worlds to shame, and as such, many people chose to make the world their dwelling. And sadly, not all of these people were good. In fact, some of them were… well, downright nasty. For this reason, a man named Godo Kisaragi, a young warrior that had been born and raised in the Land of Dragons, decided to form his own group of quote-unquote ‘protectors’, moving them all into the dense forests just outside of the Garden. In this forest they worked day after day, week after week to create a home for themselves, where they could train to become the true protectors of Radiant Garden. The ones who, unlike the actual soldiers that patrolled the city, would do whatever it took to keep the people safe. For many years the clan, as they would come to call themselves, trained and grew, eventually becoming more of a family than a ragtag band of fighters.
The clan was known for moving in the shadows, almost becoming a whisper on the wind, that many people never actually got to see with their own eyes. Because of this, they became known as ‘ninjas’, due to the stories many parents told their children at night to scare them into submission. Stories of horrible demons who would come in the night and steal little boys and girls. And while the clan would have loved to set the records straight, that was not their purpose. They were to be protecting the people of Radiant Garden, not scare them half to death. Many years passed rather uneventfully for the clan. They lived. They trained. And they protected the residents. However, as the years passed, many people came to realize that the days of the Kisaragi Clan might be coming to an end.
As Godo was moving closer to his deathbed with each and every passing day, the sad truth was that, unless he sired a son (or daughter, though many people weren’t very fond of this idea) the clan would die out. They would have no leader. So, he wed a young woman by the name of Kasumi, known for being the most beautiful and deadly member of the clan. Together, they made the perfect pair. Equal parts beauty and destruction. And not long afterwards, they had a daughter, whom they named Yuffie, after Kasumi’s recently-deceased mother. The people could only hope that Yuffie would grow up to be as great of a leader as her parents were.
But, unfortunately, people can’t always get what they want. As she grew up, people began to realize that Yuffie just wasn’t really leadership material. Sure, she was an incredibly talented ninja. No doubt about that. But she was just so… immature, and unreliable, sneaking off to the Garden every other night to terrorize the citizens, picking the pockets of random strangers, and just generally being a total and complete pain in the ass. As a result, Godo made the decision to refuse the daughter the position as leader, and hope that he would be able to have another child, one who would hopefully be just a little bit more reliable.
Needless to say, Yuffie was not pleased.
In fact, she was so unhappy that at the age of six, she abandoned the clan, disgusted with her father’s decision. She instead began living in the Garden itself, stealing what she needed to and living a comfortable, fun life. Things would only get better when she was taken in by a man named Squall, and a friend of his, named Aerith. The pair seemed determined to keep young Yuffie in line, and acted as the parents that she had left behind. Only, they seemed to actually have faith in her, unlike the man she had once called her father. For an entire year, Yuffie’s life continued peacefully, with the occasional lecture from Squall, informing her that shaving a man’s sideburns, or stealing an old lady’s underpants from the line was just not okay.
But, sadly, all good things must come to an end. On what would have seemed to be a normal day, what with the sun shining brightly and the residents having a grand old time, all hell broke loose. The Heartless invaded. They seemingly had no provocation, and nobody could do a thing to stop them. Leon, Aerith and young Yuffie took refuge within a nearby building, hoping against hope that the creatures would just overlook their presence, and leave them be. Luckily for them, however, they didn’t need to depend on such unrealistic circumstances. Instead, their savior came in the form of grumpy old Cid Highwind, a man Yuffie rather enjoyed stealing from. Especially his tea. He seemed to take that personally, for some reason.
After spending quite a while flying aimlessly through space, they finally came to land in a place known as Traverse Town. It wasn't anything like their home, but it was peaceful, and free of Heartless. At first, anyway. It was safe.
They took up residence in an old motel, not really doing much other than trying to find out what had happened to their home. But, of course, things could not remain peaceful forever. The Heartless found them even here, and they were forced to defend both themselves and these total strangers that they did not know. And while the four of them were much stronger than they once were, perhaps strengthened by the knowledge that they had lost their world, and were determined to let it happen again, they really had no way of defending an entire world by themselves. Years went on, and the four of them matured, each developing new personality traits that they might have never gained if their world had been left alone. Leon, for instance, became much more sullen, and even went as far as to stop calling himself by his real name, something that Yuffie didn't understand. The young ninja herself became much more head-strong and confident, but began to hide it behind a mask of hyperactivity and joy. After all, someone needed to keep everyone from becoming too down in the dumps.
The four formed a makeshift resistance group, doing all they could to stop the Heartless, even putting themselves in quite a bit of danger to do so. But really, they didn't care. As long as no other world had to face the horrors that they had, they would be happy. Many years later, assistance came in the form of a Keyblade-wielder named Sora. And while his appearance was both a blessing and a curse, as he drew the Heartless to Traverse Town just by being there, Yuffie found that it was nice to have a new ally that they could trust. After all, the four of them could only do so much alone. Over the course of Sora's journey, the group did whatever they could to assist him, as he would eventually rid the worlds of Heartless, enabling them to return home and see what had happened to their world. They finally got their chance, and returned to find that there was next to nothing left. Heartless still lingered here and there, but their numbers were greatly diminished.
Determined to restore their home to it’s former glory, the ‘Restoration Committee’ went right to work rebuilding the Garden, and making room for the returning residents, who were slowly but surely learning that their former homeland was once again safe. During this time, they all just up and forgot about Sora and co. They would later learn that it was due to the powers of the mysterious Castle Oblivion, but at the time, they had no idea who the Keyblade-wielder was. But, a year later, they all just... remembered him again. Out of the blue. It was an odd thing to happen, yes, but it meant that they would be seeing him again soon, according to Leon.
And that they did. An older, better-dressed, and more mature Sora appeared in Hollow Bastion not long after they had regained their memories of him, telling them that he was, once again, on a journey. Over the course of the kid's new journey, the Committee fought to restore their home, from finding Ansem's study to fighting the endless ranks of Heartless that had actually remained behind. But finally, when the Organization, a group of Nobodies seeking to do... whatever it was they were trying to do, was destroyed, their home was able to run much more smoothly. They renamed it Radiant Garden, used Ansem's technology to allow the healing process to begin in earnest, and sat back, waiting to see what would happen to them next. Whatever it was, they would be prepared for it.
