I dunno man. Poor Yami's been getting a lot of challenges lately...one after another.
I want to ask Yami if he's up for another one or if this one can be put off for awhile until he like...rejuvenates or something.

I accept the challenge on the condition that, should my opponent lose, no challenge be submitted until Dec 15th 09. If he's cool with it, let's get the party started (again).

Two challenges and one being an unofficial one doesn't seem like alot especially since he does only one post. But I'll agree to Secret Agent Mans request. All I ask is for Kempff, Nascent, and either Rocket or Akito to be the judges.

Thanks for that (I was more concerned with me missing a memo when I posted, figured I did). I'll be waiting the challenger's return of course. If anyone has me on MSN just poke me in case I don't see it myself.

When all the dark smoke cleared only one figure stood alone in the arena. Swinging his Keyblade around in victory he turned around and took his victory pose.
Sora: Thats the power of the Keyblade!
An old saying that he hadn't used in a while but it still sounded cool to him. Too bad there wasn't anyone else in the coliseum to hear his cries of victory, except for Donald and Goofy. But they had heard these before. They just rolled their eyes shook their heads at Sora. He just smiled and walked down the arena with his head held high.
This victory took him to the Semi-Finals of the Hero Cup Tournament in Olympus Coliseum. Sora had arrived earlier that day and decided to join in to show the others (mainly Phil) just how much of a hero he had become. Besides, he hadn't had any action in a while and this was something exciting for him to take part of. Plus Phil had started having his doubts about whether or not Sora was still "hero material". If Sora won then that would show him.
As he went to the waiting room to meet up with Donald and Goofy a familiar face popped out of the room. At first Sora rubbed his eyes just to make sure if what he was seeing was for reals. He couldn't believe his eyes, of all people to show up HE was now here. Running over to the other spiky haired Destiny Islander he called out,
Sora: Tidus?!? What are you doing here?
Sora hadn't seen Tidus in a long time, even after he returned to Destiny Islands it was as if Tidus dropped off the face of the earth. So Sora was surprised as well as excited to see his old friend/rival. Apparently Tidus was on a search for his father and decided to join this tournament in hopes that he might have joined as well. Another shocking development was, HE was Soras next opponent in the Semi-Finals!
This gave Sora goosebumps, the thought of going one on one with Tidus again made this tournament much more exciting. He couldn't wait for their match to start. But he had to play it cool and pump Tidus up as well.
Sora: Hope you don't hold back on me Tidus, cause I'm going all out on you.
Tensions flared as the two rivals stared each other down. Then the two broke out in laughter. Tidus was the only one of his rivals that was more friendly than competitive. Unlike Riku who Sora saw as someone he needed to try and surpass at everything to prove his worth.
Sora ran inside the waiting room as Tidus headed for the arena. When he was inside he looked over at the door that led to the Coliseum gates. It was pitch black and had a cold feeling surrounding it. Feeling as though it was calling out to him, Sora walked to the door and stepped outside. Once outside the sky had changed color. The sky was now a crimson red with thick black clouds. Sora instantly knew something was wrong the minute he looked up at the sky. When he looked down he saw a man wearing an all black tuxedo. His face was hidden behind an all white porcelain mask.
Sora: Who is this guy? Soras face turned confused. He wondered if he was the one responsible for making the sky turn red. Whoever he was he was giving out a bad vibe. Soras body started to tense up a little just by staring at him. Finally the enigmatic man spoke in a very soft tone.
:Is this what the wielder of the Keyblade does with his time now?
Sora: Huh? Now he was even more confused. How did this guy know he had the Keyblade? And just what did he mean by that?
: Have you forgotten what your duty is to the worlds? Why are you misusing the Keyblade?
Sora: What do you mean? I'm not misusing the Keyblade!
:...
Sora: Just who the heck is this guy? How does he know so much about the Keyblade? It seemed that Sora wouldn't be getting answers anytime soon. The enigmatic man in the mask was now two feet in front of him. Sora jumped back and quickly summoned his Keyblade. This caused the other man to focus on his weapon now. Sora could only stand there and tightly grip his Keyblades handle. Letting out deep breaths Sora noticed the air seemed to be getting thinner. His legs started to feel weaker by the second. Was it this guys doing? He shook it off and gave a sharp stare at the masked man. Sora couldn't drop his guard for one second. The masked man shook his head.
: Tsk.. tsk.. tsk... such a waste. You aren't like the others.
Sora was now getting heated up. This guy wasn't making any sense at all, and now he was making fun of him.
Sora: What do you mean others? Just who are you anyways?
He pointed his Keyblade at the enigmatic man showing a very demanding face. The other man shrugged and hopped back to his former spot. He waved goodbye to Sora and disappeared. The sky turned back to its original color and the clouds vanished. Soras built up frustration and anger quickly calmed down once the masked man left. Sora took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
Sora: Where do these guys come from? He gave it some thought and realized that he seemed to attract all sorts of strange people who were usually out to get him and his Keyblade. He stood there staring at his Keyblade and thought about that mans words.
Sora: Is he right though? Am I misusing the Keyblade?
Since he defeated Organization XIII and the Heartless threat seemed to decrease, Sora hadn't done much after that. He visited a few worlds to say hi to his friends, but it was never to go and save the day like it had been in the past. The mans words really confused him. He was starting to get the feeling as though he didn'-
Donald: HEY SORA COME ON!!!
Soras mind popped back into reality and he saw Donald and Goofy standing in front of him. He looked around and noticed that he was still inside the waiting room.
Donald: Whats the matter with you? Your match is about to start.
He looked at Donald at first not knowing what he was talking about (and not because of his voice). Then he remembered, his fight with Tidus!
Sora: Oh, you're right! I better hurry before I get disqualified!
He hurried for the arena acting as if his encounter with the masked man had ever occurred. Once he saw Tidus standing there on the other side of the arena stage, all of Soras worries and doubts went away. He just wanted to have some fun now. Tidus pulled out his sword and got himself ready.
Tidus: Ready Sora?
Sora summoned his Keyblade and bravely nodded.
Sora: You bet I am!

OOC: Your audition is duly noted, good post. Allow me to return it with a good post as well. "Sometimes you want to go, where everybody knows your name." This is neither a story about daring wits, heroic acts, or confrontations with the dark side. If you came to read such, then you're encouraged to steer right. Now if you wanted a lighthearted story, with a little laugh...you came to the right place. Cheers, to good friends, cheers to good tidings. Atop the dark blue yonder, twinkles began to emerge. Stars, shinning their light from afar was part of tonight's entertainment. You only had to bring yourself. Enter Sora, laying back on a lush green hill, eyes averted to the sky above him. To his right was a lovable bear, his left arm pointing to the starry sky.
"Oh Sora, don't those stars over there remind you of honey?"
Sora turned his head to the left, looking at Winnie the Pooh with a curious expression. Akin to the 'Oh Pooh, you can't be serios.'
"Oh don't do that, just take a closer look. Doesn't it look like a wonderful pot of honey?"
Sora couldn't help but look up again. His eyes narrowed at first but to his surprise, the bear's logic; albeit tilted in a specific direction, was correct. The constellation they were looking at resembled a jar of hunny. Of course, the real reason Pooh brought that up was because he was thinking of his favourite past time. Yes, suckling on hunny; to which he had a spare jar at his side. Exhaling happily, the jolly bear reached for his stash---
...but it was gone. Now this prompted Pooh to do a quick double take. Just to be sure he didn't misplace it.
"Oh no...it seems I've misplaced my hunny."
Sora closed his eyes and shook his head. He was sure the pot was most likely within arms reach. Turning to his right, then a quick peak behind him and Pooh; even he ended up doing a double take.
"Wait a minute...Pooh, did you remember the hunny?"
Comically, the two glanced at each other.
"Oh but Sora, I thought you were carrying it?"
At which point Sora gasped. His right index finger pointing to himself. The honey bear simply nodded to him. Oh no, did Sora screw up? One more look around the hill was made.
"It's gone, what should we do?"
Despite asking the question, Sora eased himself to his feet. It wasn't a night of stargazing without the favoured dish.
"Yes well, I'm sure there's plenty more at home. Except that it's dark... Sora would you lead the way?"
"Leave it to me." The teen replied, nodding his head as he offered his right hand to his friend. Everything would be alright, more than likely the duo had been absent minded. The pot would be right on Pooh's counter top waiting for them. So they journeyed down the path, heading to Pooh's residence. The walk itself seemed to go on forever, at least in Pooh's mind. Sora was just happy to be here, it had been quite awhile since he saw the gang of 100 Acre Woods.
Perhaps Pooh's house was just around the corner, perhaps it was just up ahead, regardless of the approximate distance, there was a problem. Winnie had a rumbly in his tummy and with his audible growl came a wonderful sight. Just ahead was a lone tree, with a beehive. It didn't seem like there were any bees, but there was definitely hunny! Oh it was practically dripping to the ground! Pooh having caught sight of it, having caught wind of it's succulent smell even, was carried away by an all too familiar breeze. The breeze of temptation, which didn't bother Winnie one bit.
"Oh no..."
Oh yes Sora, the teen's friend was heading towards that beehive and Sora needed to think fast! A trait which didn't grace itself upon the hero except in combat.
"Pooh wait! We're almost at your--"
That curled arm had already attempted to reach for the beehive. A comical yet sad scene was about to commence. Even if Sora wanted to utilize his quick run, something didn't click in his mind or he naively believed Pooh would listen to him. More than likely the latter but regardless! Pooh began to fiddle with the hive. He hit it left and right and already a familiar buzzing sound was present. Once the first few bee's trickled out, even Pooh snapped out of his trance.
"Run!"
Sora yelled and this time remembered his skills. Scooping up his friend by the waist, he took off in a quick burst of speed. Unfortunately Sora wasn't thinking practical and ran off route. It was an honest accident, heat of the moment and all. Yet the bee's were still coming full force.
"Oh dear..."
Pooh uttered, "...Oh no..." Sora stated flatly. Thus the duo was running for dear life. They ran, and ran, and ran some more. They even passed Eeyore on their run whom soon got caught up with them.
"Guys why are we running?" the honest donkey asked. Which his replies were only met with initial huffs. Sora would point over his shoulder with his free hand. Once Eeyore took a quick look back, his question was answered. Of course they weren't running at road runner speed by any stretch. No sooner did Sora scoop Eeyore up also in order pick up the pace a bit. When he saw the pond up ahead, he made a daring dive.
"Splash!"
The Bee's mindlessly swarmed overhead.
Emerging later the trio looked around. They needed to make sure the coast was clear for one thing. On Sora's signal they'd finally get out. Now three of them were drenched and no food in sight.
"I'm terribly sorry about this everyone. If only there was something I could do."
Pooh seemed lost in thought but Sora rested a hand on his shoulder.
"It's okay, come on let's get to Pooh's house."
They could worry about drying off when they got there.
---------------
Thus the trio ended up at Pooh's house. Sure enough the jar was left on the counter. Sora could only sigh in defeat, yet the sight of Pooh hastily grabbing the jar brought a smile to his face. That bear just really loved his hunny.

This one is really rather tough.
I personally think that you two are almost even when it comes to portraying Sora. Almost. You both have a very good grasp on Sora’s personality, but I have to give Yami the win on this one. Mainly because he managed to keep the focus on only two characters, while it seemed as though you, N.S., were throwing characters in there merely out of convenience.
Regardless. Very good posts, both of you. But as I said, I’m giving the win to Yami. I’m not going to lock this, however, as I want to give both of you, as well as the other staffers, should they so desire, the chance to give their opinions.

I just wanted to let you two know that I'm reading this and will get back to this pronto. As Sora's the main character I want a bit of room to reason out how I judged these things.
Also, as FSA is part of the canon crew and me and Ryu are also part of the canon crew, I want to let NS have the opportunity to pick a moderator he thinks would be more appropriate - or at least appear less biased. We're trying to read and judge these things as fairly as we can but if you think that there's a conflict of interest somewhere NS, I think we can work out an alternative arrangement.

Wait a sec. You two weren't picked to be judges for this challenge, I didn't even get the heads up for that, nor did I even know you guys were even able to. I already picked the staff that were supposed to be judging this challenge. Akito Nascent and Kempff were in charge of the judging.

After an argument with someone as to my post here, I am editing it.
My points, CR's are able to moderate auditions. They are qualified to do so, and have the power. Kempff can't moderate because he is no longer a story coordinator (and I'm not sure they have the power to mod auditions anyway), and even if he still was, he isn't here to do so. Nascent has limited activity right now, so you may want to reconsider that choice, though feel free to wait until he gets to this.
And I've been informed you had already asked if these people would moderate it. That like in my earlier version of this post was something I wasn't aware of, and I said that part of my argument was invalid if they had been.
My other points were that a staff's opinion changes the more you grasp a canon. Changing moderators, while it may work, could just as easily result in FSA winning again. You shouldn't try to pick moderators based on who is more lenient, you should pick them (if picking them is an option, which in my opinion shouldn't be) based on their knowledge of the character, and how much of a grasp that they have on him or her.

It's alright Dei I didn't even know you guys could mod these. Let me talk to my "adviser" and see whats up. We may just have you two mod this so it can be taken care of.
Angelus uhh well... not to sound mean and I wasn't trying to in my last post I just just caught off guard and I thought that the agreement me and the staff and judges was somehow messed with. Anywhoo, I'm just following the agreement to make sure this is done fairly.
