I was told to make a Hello thread lest my soul be eaten, and I am a fan of my soul (Always been there for me, you know, in spirit.), so this is my Hello thread.

I be Nicklez, captain of the internet and magistrate of words. My name is sometimes misspelled as Nickels but this is just due to literate people being literate. I'm the flyest thing since hair gel and I wrestle walruses in my spare time. I once fought off the entirety of Napoleon's army using only ice cubes and a half-empty glass of Kool-Aid, though the ice cubes made the glass look full.

Facts

I've been role playing for about five years now, though in the past two years I have focused less on forum-based roleplays and more on poetry and short stories. I've role played mainly science fiction settings, though I have been involved in a Lord of the Rings RP and a Vampire/Werewolf/Hunter RP.

I sporadically IMed Brezzen a few hours ago to see if he knew any decent roleplaying boards, since I have been out of the game for a little while, and he gave me the link to FM. I like it here, seems fun. And purple.

Name's Angelus, and I'm rather villainous. Bilby is my arch nemesis, and he is rather heroic. I'm a quest master. If you're familiar with Dungeons & Dragons (I'm assuming you are, but if not then let me know), then think of us quest masters as FM's version of the Dungeon Master. We control the enemies, the weather, and things like that in quests (We are basically gods of the rp, and we are the only group of people who can godmod and not get in trouble, so long as it is in our quests and we are doing it to punish someone who might be, or if you want to go for the other reason, the one I like more, is to kill them for being stupid, in a sense anyway).

So yeah.

If you have any questions then feel free to pm myself and ask. I've been here since FM opened up a few years back, and I've been around for all the major changes in both staff, rules, and the like. I'm pretty familiar with the character creation process (as I've created around a dozen characters within the last year alone, which was roughly when the newer version of the character template came out, I believe it was updated slightly since then, but not much). If you have questions about the special classes in particular let me know, I have at one point or another had a tech (which many of my characters are now for some reason), a summoner, a tamer, and well, the normal character type. I've also had enough profiles moderated to know what tends to fly and what doesn't ability wise, so feel free to ask me on that as well.
