im looking to buy final fantasy 7 but if i dont manage to get that by the end of the weekend what other final fantasy game would be good to get? 8,9, 10,10-2,or dirge of cerberus? i didnt say 12 because i already have 12

They're all pretty good. I'm a bit of a IX sucker myself, if only because it reminds me a little of FFVI. Speaking of which, I might as well just mention FFV or FFVI if you've got a DS. :3
Hm, back on topic, I'd go for either VIII through X, and save X-2 and Dirge for last.
Course, I'm going to be a rebel and say that the Tales of series is far superior to FF. XD

You must play these, aye?
But going off of your list, I'd say 8. Needs patience, but it's heaps good. 9 is a decent choice too.

XIII and IX are the only ones worth playing. The rest are not worth the money. Good luck finding those though.
I really think X is a huge waste of time btw, and X-2 is only for people angry at X's ending. DoC....LOL, don't waste money on that. What a let down.

Really? X is my favorite. But then again, I only have X-2, Dirge of Cerberus, and Crisis Core to compare. And well...the last three weren't as epic as the originals.
XII was a bit of a let down...I've never even finished it. >_>

Well, at least he has become a fan of one of the better characters in the series? How could someone so rugged and smexy spawn... Tidus?
Then again, I've yet to actually play FFX myself. I never made it past FFIX, but I'm very tempted to pick up FFXIII when it comes out.
