Username: Prythian (HOLY SHIT PRYTHIAN'S GOING FOR A CANON)
Current canons: None
Canon you're auditioning for: Lexaeus
Media canon is from: CoM, Re:CoM, 358/2 Days
Is the current canon taken?: No.
Audition post (400 words):
He had, he decided, been very foolish.
A very large figure stood on invisible ground, surrounded by nothing but darkness. His cloak matched the darkness, fitting loosely on his large frame. He stepped forward, jaw set firm. He crossed his arms over his chest, thinking deeply.
Why am I still here? Lexaeus thought to himself. I was defeated. I faded. And yet I remain. Zexion might have been able to tell him. However, he was not here. He had failed to secure Riku, and this was the price. No more Zexion. No more Organization.
Nothing but him and the darkness.
“…” The Silent Hero looked out into the endless abyss. There was nothing for him here. But then, there was Nothing for him anywhere, as a Nobody. There was only one option for him left to do. How he had reappeared was of no importance to him. The Organization, however, was.
He was no coward, to surrender himself so easily. He lowered his arms, and held one out to the side. Several rocks flew from nowhere, colliding around his hand and below it. They broke apart, revealing his Axe Sword, the Skysplitter. He pulled it up with one hand easily, resting it on one shoulder, and began to walk forward.
There was no earth here, and his powers were muted. However, he had to make sure his strength was not weakened from when he came up against the Hero of Darkness. And soon enough, the Heartless began to show around him, attracted to something else besides themselves in this dark void.
Lexaeus reached up with his other hand, gripping the handle of Skysplitter. He lifted it up and slammed it down on the closest Heartless, instantly shattering it into shards of darkness. He followed this up with a secondary strike, ignoring the pitiful attacks that he was struck with. They were not powerful enough to faze him.
Soon thereafter, the Heartless had been dispelled. Lexaeus, briefly, allowed a smirk to cross his face before it faded back into the ordinary stoic expression. “Forgive me, Zexion. I have taken too long to return.” His words were brief and concise.
He held up his left hand, right hand leaning Skysplitter against his shoulder. A corridor of darkness appeared, barely distinguishable from the darkness surrounding him. He stepped into it, mind set on a single goal. Nothing else mattered to him. Nothing else could.
He had to complete his mission.
