Physical Appearance ~ :
Illyas stands at a fairly average (for his world) 5’7”, but his extremely straight posture may make him seem taller. His hair is a light green that falls to just above his shoulders in a semi-spiky and generally messy style. In contrast to his hair, the rest of Illyas’ appearance is very well maintained, including his body. While not overly buff, years of archery practice and war in general have given Illyas some well-defined biceps. He also takes great care of his face, and only a single battle scar remains as a small cut on his chin to remind him of his first true battle. His eyes are a light brown while his skin is only slightly tanned. Illyas also tends to keep his nails short.
Clothing/Accessories ~ :
As a soldier, Illyas usually enters battle in full armor. Archers are not given as heavy armor due to their need for stealth however, so this usually consists of blue-gray chainmail underneath a blue-grey breast plate with Flynn’s symbol - the Wild Rose - placed over the heart. The leg armor is also of a similar blue-grey light material to the breast plate and is fairly quiet for armor. His arms are protected only by the chainmail, but he does have shoulder pads. He also wears fingerless white gloves with the Wild Rose stamped on it as a personal touch. The footwear is surprisingly light sneaker-like shoes that don’t provide much protection but are easy to move in. Finally, there’s a standard issue soldier helm in - you guessed it - blue-grey. It has no visor or generally anything to cover the face. It’s simply a helmet to cover his skull and hide his hair. Overall this is very bland outfit, but it keeps Illyas well-protected which is more important in battle.
During times of peace, Illyas has no set outfit. He tends to wear his chainmail underneath whatever shirt he put on. His pants are usually fairly tight-fitted and in dark colours. Illyas still wears the white gloves, and usually still covers his hair with a maroon beret. He also keeps the shoes from his soldier uniform.
No matter what he’s wearing, a light brown arrow quiver is always strapped to Illyas’ back, capable of holding up to 60 arrows.

[/size][/blockquote]Alignment ~ : Lawful Good
Behaviour ~ :Unlike many people, one can actually get a clear picture of Illyas’ personality from a single word:
Honourable.
With both his parents as soldiers of the Flynn Army and being raised as a soldier himself, Illyas does almost everything to protect and promote honour. That honour may be of his kingdom, his family, or even his own personal pride. He is extremely respectful of authority, including enemy governments, and hesitates to fight unless he is ordered by his kingdom to do so. Or if he truly believes that fighting will help Flynn. However, he will never strike down an unarmed opponent. At worst he will knock them unconscious and take them prisoner if given a direct order to do so, but it generally goes against his ethics to even do that. Illyas also has great respect for his fellow soldiers, but is known to be rude to those who don’t work for goals. The archer is especially rude to those who insult Flynn, and won’t hesitate to strike them down if they are not a fellow citizen. And while he does respect all the hardworking soldiers in Flynn’s army, he especially admires fellow archers. Some would call him a bit of a tool for basing his life almost solely around protecting his kingdom, but he honestly couldn’t care less. Illyas is very straightforward in speaking and often misses more subtle parts of the conversation.
However, he does have his more individual characteristics. His curiosity is one of them; Illyas constantly searches for ways to improve his fighting form and increase Flynn’s respect in the world. He loves exploring in hopes of finding some materials Flynn could use or some land they could claim to expand their power. After all, Flynn deserves to own everything in his eyes.
He also has an interest in studying magic, though he’s not particularly great at it. Only through hardcore studying his entire life was he able to master wind-based magic, but there are many others his age who have as great an understanding of various magic elements.

Primary Weapon(s)
ID: Quintessence
Quality: Average
A 5’5” recurve bow fashioned from a indigo-coloured magic stone. The properties of the stone allow Quintessence to easily handle and fire arrows of wind and give it a (relatively) scratch-proof limb. In emergencies, it can be swung fairly hard at opponents without taking any damage. Despite how it appears to citizens of other worlds, it’s actually a fairly standard-issue bow among knights of Flynn. In comparison to weapons of other worlds, an arrow from this bow has almost as great an impact as a gunshot. Quintessence itself actually belonged to Illyas’ father, and therefore holds great battle experience in addition to sentimental value.
Just as a note, his quiver contains 60 arrows made of a similar magical stone compound as the bow. They aren’t much stronger than typical arrows, but they rarely break and are easier for Illyas to infuse with magic.
Secondary Weapon
ID: Twin Espadas
These are your basic hidden elbow blades. To be more precise, there is one blade hidden on each of Illyas’ elbows (he has two, in case that wasn’t obvious). They’re curved away from Illyas, and go from his elbow down to the end of his palm. They pop out with a simple spring mechanism, and what little space binds the blade to Illyas’ elbow is made of a dark green cloth-like material. As they must rip through his clothing in order to strike, Illyas prefers to use them only in emergencies as a surprise attack. He is also not very skilled in close-combat, forcing the Hidden Blades to truly stay hidden for months at a time. At the very least, the fitting of his normal armor completely hides the presence of the blades.
ID: White Wind
A basic longsword with a blade that is pure white in colour, complimented by a hilt that is...also white. Generally locked away in its sheath, since Illyas isn't much of a sword-fighter.

[Crosswind]
Though an archer at heart, Illyas has learned that a little magic can turn the tides of battle if used well. Rather than training in the various elements and styles, Illyas opted to master a single element: Wind Magic. Originally studied in order to simply made Wind Arrows in an emergency, he has since learned to mold wind into a number of shapes and sizes. It should be noted that arrows made of Wind are noticeably stronger (about 2 times) than a regular arrow.
In an attempt to make a more lasting object (like a sword of wind), one post is required to charge.
In making an Incredibly Strong Arrow (which is about 5 times as strong as a regular arrow, so 2.5 Wind Arrows), one post is also needed to charge. But note! There will be 2 post cooldown rather than one, and only 3 of these Incredibly Strong Arrows may be used per thread.
Strength: Strong
Uses: One arrow per post
Charge Time: Anything other than a Regular Wind Arrow takes 1 post to charge
Cooldown: Anything other than a Regular Wind Arrow has 1 post cooldown
[Gemini Shot]
Making the most of his wind magic, Illyas charges wind onto an arrow before loading it into his bow. Upon release, the wind can separate from the arrow mid-flight at Illyas' command into a Wind Arrow, which may go on to curve into the same target as the regular arrow or fire off in another direction completely.
Strength: Weak
Uses: Once per post
Cooldown: One post between uses (cannot be used repeatedly)
[Overwork Elegy]
Through years of training, Illyas has gained a mastery of all four archery stances (Even, Open, Closed, Oblique) and is capable of quickly getting into them in almost any situation. Most notable is his ability to go from a full out run and stop in his stance of choice perfectly, letting him fire off an arrow before he even stops and having another arrow ready to fire before the first has even reached its target. In fact, he can even has the rather impressive ability to load and fire two arrows at a time, though his aim is only at about 75% when doing so.
Strength: Weak
Passive
Guardian: Shell Aura
A bowl-shaped, semi-transparent energy shield appears in front of the character using it. This shield only protects the side that it was cast upon. So, if you cast it on your back, it will protect your back only, and so-on. The shield can protect from weak to moderate level attacks. You can move while this shield is cast so feel free to use the shield to ram an opponent.
Uses: 3 time use per battle. The shield lasts for a single post, unless it is broken by an attack stronger than it is.

To understand Illyas’ history is to understand the history of the Kingdom of Flynn itself.
Ever since Illyas was born, Flynn had been engaged in a war with the Kingdom of Palamecia. However, during most of Illyas’ life this consisted of only small battles for land here and there. Both kingdoms were too concerned with the growing population of monsters in the world to put much effort into defeating each other.
Both Illyas’ father and mother were soldiers in Flynn’s army. In fact, it was due to their battles together in Flynn’s Archery Squad that they met in the first place. Illyas was their first born child, and a second son - Mikael - was born three years later. Both sons grew up with a great sense of honour and respect, as their parents also had a great love for Flynn. They were also both taught archery at a young age along with a bit of swordsmanship and sorcery. Mikael was more talented with blades than magic while Illyas was the exact opposite, but both preferred the bow as their main weapon. It was a simple, peaceful life. The family would go on monster hunts together in the forests outside the castle, and Illyas and Mikael also tagged along with the Archery Squad on less dangerous recon missions, allowing them to see far beyond Flynn. Discovering new lands was quite a rush to Illyas especially.
It was four years ago now that the Kingdom of Palamecia launched a full-scale attack. It was such a sudden move that they actually managed to take Flynn Castle within days. A good amount of soldiers gave their life to buy time for Flynn’s royalty to escape to a southern town named Altair. Flynn was prepared to some extent for war however, and began mobilizing its troops.
It was not long after the initial attack that an event that would change the entire war occurred. While trying to get news out of Palamecia’s upcoming attacks out to other towns, soldiers of Flynn came across a particular town where only three youths still survived. These three were bent on aiding Flynn in destroying Palamecia in order to avenge their family and friends and proved themselves surprisingly capable.
With a lot of luck and dedication, Flynn began to win the battle against Palamecia. Both of Illyas’ parents were part of the army’s core group in attacking Palamecia, but Illyas and Mikael were put on relatively low risk defense duties due to their inexperience. Eventually with the unlikely help of these youths, Flynn managed to persuade the Dark Knight to join their army and reach the Palamecian emperor, though he managed to raise Castle Pandemonium from the depths of Hell. Within it, he gained the power to control monsters and even called forth a form of monsters never before seen in their world. These creatures became known as the Heartless.
But despite the emperor’s final efforts, he was defeated and Castle Pandemonium was sealed. Many of Flynn’s top magic scholars had died trying to obtain the Ultima Tome in Mysidia Tower, and none remained that knew how to send Castle Pandemonium back to Hell. So it remained in their world, sealed with magic with the corpses of the emperor and the Heartless trapped inside.
Palamecia was allowed to stay an independent kingdom, but their new emperor was forced to sign a treaty with Flynn and give up nearly half their land. Considering Palamecia’s natural size, the treaty left Flynn with only slightly more land than the war starters.
Both of Illyas’ parents survived the two year war, though his father’s left arm was badly damaged. It was again the lack of high mages that prevented him from being healed, though the remaining mages believed that given time, they could restore it. Moreso, Illyas’ parents were proud of how their sons had helped the rebellion and handed down their coveted bows; the father’s Quintessence to Illyas and the mother’s Mistes to Mikael. Of course, the parents had new bows crafted for themselves to use in their new promoted positions.
Illyas gained even more pride in his kingdom after winning the war, but what affected him most was how three seemingly normal youths had turned everything around. It gave him hope: maybe he could do the same for his kingdom some day.
The archer continued training hard, and he had no shortage of targets. The monsters had begun multiplying at a shocking rate within the last two years. They were not evolving or particularly dangerous on their own, but their sheer numbers were starting to be frustrating. It was unknown whether this was a result of Palamecia having lost much of its army that aided in keeping the population down, or if it was an effect of Castle Pandemonium’s presence.
While the mages studied Castle Pandemonium to learn how to send it away, they discovered a form of magic that would aid in warping objects. It was unable to send the castle away, yet it had another purpose: it could send people to other worlds.
After some initial tests to ensure the magic was safe, Flynn began to send small groups of top soldiers out in order to find a way to reduce the monster multiplying rate. Illyas was chosen alongside three of his comrades (including his brother Mikael) as one of the top soldiers in the junior divison. Rhea was a fellow archer while Kieran was a traditional sword-and-shield fighter. Along with a few commander level soldiers, Illyas and his comrades prepared to venture to new worlds, none more excited than the wind archer himself. This was exactly the chance he was looking for.
He would find the answer to Flynn’s problems in these new worlds. And then help his kingdom conquer them.
