Allen, in the guise of the High Tea Hero, was having an interesting time. You see, being a hero, Allen fights against injustices. In this particular case, a small village in the country had contacted him about a local menace. What they had left out, however, was that the 'menace' they were talking about was, in fact, a 40 foot tall Darkside.
"I will boil you in the Tea of Justice!" he shouted, rolling out of the way of an oncoming fist, and shooting it with his Tea-Soaker. The Darkside roared in disapproval, and was now even angrier at Allen. "The High Tea Hero never backs down! I shall fight you until my last breath, miscreant!" On the inside, however, Allen was thinking to himself about how this was probably a mistake. A Darkside was a bit ridiculous to fight alone... But he couldn't let these people down.

Arc was walking along a road when he finally spotted a town. Happy to be somewhere safe at last, he began to run in his lumbering gait toward the village. Suddenly, he stopped. There was a massive Heartless towering above the village. He sprinted towards it and summoned his Dragoons. "Lance, Ranseur, let us fight this Heartless monstrosity." The Dragoons nodded and charged with him.
He arrived along side the strange man and summoned to him his katanas. "My name is Arc. I am here to help." He watched the creature carefully, waiting for it to make its move.

"I am the High Tea Hero! More introductions later?" he replied back to the new arrival as he rolled out of the way of yet another fist. Hopefully this young person wouldn't try to double cross him. When he stood up again, Allen threw out a pose, and looked oddly like a human Tea Cup for a moment. "Taste the Tea of Justice!" he shouted, finishing his pose and blasting the creature with his Soaker.

Arc cocked an eyebrow at him. This strange man...why does he obsess about tea? Some humans, he would never understand. Tossing one katana into the air, Arc muttered, "Draconic Flames." He sent a ray of flame shooting from his open, outfacing palm into the kneecap of the Darkside. Catching the katana on its descent, Arc grinned....as much as he could with his dragonmanness.

The Darkside was all but finished now... He'd have to get out of this disguise, but Allen couldn't let a civilian see him change. As the Darkside fell to it's knees, Allen turned his masked face to the... What was this guy, anyway? He seemed scaly, but yet almost like a man... Interesting. Allen would have to find out later. " You seem to have this monstrosity finished! Thank you for your help!" As he finished his small speech, Allen turned and ran off into the village. [OOC: Just in case you didn't understand, I'll be back in my next post, just not in costume. Can't give my secret identity away, can I? ]

Arc watched the odd man go out of the corner of his eye as he continued to fight the Darkside. Lance swooped in from the left, Ranseur from the right, and Arc double-slashed forward when the creature started to fall. It dissipated as the dracon fell into a seated position, the katanas disappearing.
"Well, Lance, Ranseur, I do believe that was one of the most fun battles yet." Arc put his hands up to his left and right sides and had the Dragoons help him up. He dismissed them, promising he would call them back when he needed them. "Now, where did that Hero guy go...?"

Hmm. The man handled it well. What was his name... Arc! That was it. Yes, I'll have to greet him well. " Hello there, good sir. That was an excellent deed you just accomplished. It's too bad that other man ran away... I was watching the battle from the alleyway." Hopefully my lie would be suitable enough. There I was, standing there in my civilian clothing, my trusty guitar strapped to my back. The closer I looked got to the man, the larger he was. " Wow. You're quite tall, sir." Bah! I had forgotten to introduce myself! " Ah, my apologies. The name's Allen. Allen Zale." I extended my hand as I introduced myself. Hopefully the man's manners weren't restricted to combat only... [OOC: I should add- I am meaning to talk in first person This was the way I intended to RP HTH from the start, I just didn't do that at first for some reason >.<]

Arc, a bit confused, shook the man's hand. "Yes, a shame..." The other man introduced himself, and Arc followed suit. "Allen? I am Arc Draco. You saw the fight?" He wanted to ask if he had seen where the other man went, but he did not want to appear rude. So, he left it at that for conversation. He wasn't in a very vocal mood anyhow.

And so, I nodded. The man seemed pleasant, and also quite strong. Best to get along with him. Hopefully he wouldn't turn out to be an enemy. "Yes, I did witness it. That thing's been plaguing this village for weeks. It's a good thing you two showed up. I tried to fight it once, but I couldn't even put a scratch on it." I was telling the truth, of course. This village HAD asked for the High Tea Hero's help because of the reason stated. I HAD tried to fight it in my civilian clothes. "This village is Neota. Are you gonna be staying a while? You can crash at my place if you don't mind me playing this thing." I motioned at my back as I said it.

Arc thought for a few moments. I was not planning on staying here for long, but with his offer... He nodded after the thought. "I accept your offer, Allen. Thank you for offering me the use of your home." HE thought it strange, the sudden switches from polite, proper speech to slang, but it was not that odd. Perhaps that is how they speak here.
With nothing much else to do here, Arc pointed toward the town. "Lead the way, my good man."

I led him to the house I had been renting out for a while. It wasn't exactly the cleanest place around, but it served its purpose. I guess I had a habit of renting out places like this, but I didn't really care. It held enough room for other people to stay comfortably if they needed shelter, so I was fine with it. This one did just that; it wasn't the largest house in town, but it definitely wasn't the smallest. There were 3 bedrooms besides mine, and a fairly large kitchen. "Sorry for the mess. I haven't really had anyone else stay here in a while. You can take any room you want, just follow the hallway on the right." I hoped he wouldn't be repulsed by the condition of the house. The rooms were clean, but the common room wasn't exactly spotless.

Arc nodded. And, being the nice guy that he was, decided to offer his help to the man. "I will help you clean your house if you should wish." He didn't yet choose a bedroom because he had yet to have any possessions that he needed to place in the room.
"I should help you, because you are, after all, allowing me to stay here." It was just common courtesy that he did something nice for his newfound friend. Allen was, in fact, letting him stay at his house. That was a grand show of faith. He only hoped he could live up to expectations.
((OOC: I have no idea where to lead this thread. If you have something you want to do, then okay, but otherwise...I have no real plans besides the two becoming friends))

" Well, if you don't want to, you don't have to. I'm just not used to having guests, so I leave it like this." I said, motioning with my hand. I turned, set my guitar on its stand, and turned back to Arc. " I know I already asked you this, but I figured I'd double check. You don't mind me jamming on my guitar, do you?" I could see he'd be an interesting roommate. Hopefully he stayed true to what he showed on the battlefield; a calm, kind-hearted person. From what I'd seen so far though, this wouldn't be a problem. " I'm gonna head in the kitchen and grab some food. You're welcome to whatever you like, though I don't have too much. We can head to the shop tomorrow and pick some stuff up, if you like." [OOC: Nope, I don't have any plans for this character ]

Arc nodded. "I enjoy music, so it should be interesting, listening to it in this form." He had never seen a guitar in his life, having only heard stories about them. He once saw a sitar...but that was a story for another day. He looked around. "Do you happen to have any vegetables in here?" Odd, but true, the dragon-man was a vegetarian. He disliked eating something which once lived, because it was dishonorable unless he himself killed it in a fair fight, which consisted of the both of them having the same weaponry.
Anyhow, he told Allen, "I am a vegetarian," and walked into his room to look around. After a few moments, satisfied that it would serve, Arc walked back into the room. He of course had to duck his head entering and exiting, because he was too tall for the house. Way too tall...

Ah, a vegetarian, eh? This should be interesting... Closing the fridge, I replied to his question."At the moment, I don't have very many vegetables worth eating by themselves; most I use for cooking. We can go to the shops in a little, though. I just have to put this stuff down." What kinda vegetables do vegetarians eat? Any and everything vegetable? Needless to say, I was a bit mystified about the topic, and the look on my face (should anyone see it) would be that of confusion. I walked into the other room after Arc and put all the rest of my un-needed objects down. "When you're ready, let me know. We can take a look around the town if you want, too. I don't have anything planned."
