As you are heading out the door of your house, a small glimmer of light catches your eye. You turn around and see a mirror, putting you face to face with your reflection.

Physical appearance ~ : Ryu
Ryu is a slim yet strong man. He has sky-blue hair, and eyes that match. He has a very expressive face which, when paired up with his 5'11" height, can be intimidating depending on how he is feeling.

Clothing/Accessories ~ : Ryu wears a tangerine-colored scarf, and a long, sleeveless white coat. His forearms are wrapped in bandages, and on top of those are wristguards, with fingerless gloves. Under his jacket Ryu wears a deep red shirt, with shoulder plates of a matching color. His pants are olive-green, and are tucked into his brown leather boots.

~Personality~

As you're walking through the door, you see many sights that influence your mood. The different feelings that suddenly wash over you are many, leaving you with a strange mix of emotions.

Alignment ~ : Good

Behavior ~ : Ryu is a quiet person, very rarely speaking, instead expressing his emotions through body language. Ryu tends to defend the innocent, though he doesn't actively follow said path. When he finds somebody that he finds worth his friendship, his loyalty to them is undying. Ryu is known to enjoy fishing, and as such, when he is near a fishing spot and has his equipment with him during a dull moment, he will fish. He tends to not like staying in one place, and so wanders around a lot.

[Ryu spends a turn charging his strength, after which he turns into one of his dragon forms, and doubling his strength and defense, and doubling his health proportionately. While charging, Ryu cannot attack, and cannot move. Additionally, as he is charging, a large amount of energy gathers around him, halving the damage of all incoming attacks. When the charging is complete, Ryu releases all energy, causing moderate damage and a 20 foot knockback.]

Name: Tiamat

Appearance: Tiamat

In this form, Ryu is a large, coiled snakelike dragon. He is about 60 feet tall coiled, and though rarely has it ever happened, he is 200 feet long uncoiled. He has glowing red eyes, and teal scales, though on the underside of him it is almost golden yellow. His horns and claws are a deep purple, and his horns emanate with a warm orange flame.

[Doom Breath is a non-elemental beam attack. The beam is mostly red, though has streaks of black in it. This breath is cone-shaped, and at the widest point is 35 feet. It extends out 50 feet.]

[Ryu whips out with his tail, extending it out 20 feet, in a cone.]

[Draconic Sight allows Ryu to keep all his sight, though he is considerably larger. Whatever Ryu could see as a dragon is still as detailed as his human form.]

History: Ryu picked this gene up in his travels. It emanates the calls of his ancestors, though only descendants of the Brood like Ryu can hear it.

As you slay the last of the beasts, you put your weapon aside, and walk away, knowing your tale of bravery will be told for thousands of years to come.

Ryu was awakened as a child in the mines of Dauna, though nobody knew he was a boy. The young dragon whelp caused quite a stir, but was eventually captured. He was put in a cage on a train, and was to be sent to the royal capital city, but managed to roll the cage off of the end of the train. He was knocked out upon impact, but later was found by Rei, his soon-to-be companion. However, what Rei didn't know was that Ryu was a dragon, as he had transformed into human form.

When he awoke, the blue-haired boy left to go find out where he was. He eventually ran into Rei, and his thieving partner, Teepo in a nearby town. The three are eventually caught, and sent to kill a monster atop a nearby mountain. They return successful, and afterwards try to use their abilities to help the local citizens. However, on one such occasion, the three of them anger a mob, and return to their now-burning home. They look around, only to get attacked by two hitmen, and separated.

Ryu eventually woke up alone in the care of a local woodsman who found no trace of his friends. He decided to travel to the capital city, believing them to be alive. There, he met Nina, a princess of the kingdom, and continued on. Throughout the next few years, the pair traveled along, meeting many other friends, and defeating many enemies. When they reached their ultimate goal of the journey, meeting the goddess Myria, the group banded together to defeat her. The group of friends returned to the Kingdom, and were determined to live out the rest of their lives normally. Ryu, however, had a sense that something was still amiss, confirmed one night when a group of shadow dragons attacked a nearby village.

When Ryu arrived at the scene, he defeated them, but noticed a strange Heart-shaped symbol on their wings. He returned to the library and did research, learning that these things were called 'Heartless', and threatened the existence of the world itself. As such, the Dragon Knight of Wyndia received permission from the now Queen Nina to journey out and defeat this menace.
