Choosing to upgrade Seira a little bit. She's a pansy right now.
- Changed her into a normal character. - Used 6 of the 10 AP she starts with to get ‘Gluttony’. - Bought two ability transfers [ 200 Munny ] to be taken from Axel. The abilities to be removed are 'Flurry of Dancing Flames', and 'Volcanic Battleground' both of which don't have much use in the RP World. Battle Speed, as Bilby said, is hard to display well, and everyone's just gonna be cheap and avoid Battleground. So I'm bringing them over here! - Said abilities are now in the form of 'Despair’ and ‘Wrath’.
Costs me 200 altogether. New Weapon Description:
New abilities:
Aaaaand the code.

Physical Appearance [blockquote]“I am eternally grateful that I seem not to have inherited the 'short' genes that plague the rest of my immediate family –- biologically speaking, anyway. Though most people wouldn't consider 5'7” very tall for a young woman, I'm just lucky I continued growing past five feet. You should know better than to ask a lady how much she weighs, and I won't tell you in any case, but I've always been slender; while other girls counted calories and starved themselves to stay in shape, I was always the one who could eat whatever I wanted and hardly gain an ounce, though it has only been through a half-lifetime of running, swimming, and latent beast-powers that I came by the athleticism of my physique.”
“If nature and the so-called high society of my former life had their way, I would be a charcoal-brunette. Needless to say, my hair was one of the first things I changed when I left that life behind; these days I'm a blonde, and entirely unashamed of it. As for my eyes, they're an unremarkable shade of brown, not bright, not deep, just a flat, faded chocolate brown.”[/blockquote] Clothing/Accessories [blockquote] “Anything that isn't utterly hideous, really. I can't afford to be too picky when I'm traveling, as much as I would like to be.”[/blockquote]

~ Personality ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alignment [blockquote]“I would like like to say Good, but that would be a lie. The truth is, I have done -- and plan to continue doing, if it will help me regain my throne -- some less than heroic things in my life. So, for simplicities sake, Neutral."[/blockquote] Behavior [blockquote]“Though I try my very hardest to be cordial, or at least distantly polite, to everyone who approaches me, it seems as if I give off the impression of being very cold –- unapproachable, even. In the time since I left my former family behind –- that is to say, in the time since I was thrown from my kingdom and forced to see the world, my world, for what it really is –- I have been called everything from Frigid B**ch to Ice Queen to names I could scarcely bring myself to repeat, all on the mistaken belief that I hold myself upon a pedestal above everyone around me, aloof and untouchable. What many fail to understand about me –- by my own fault as much as their own –- is that I am not holding myself above them, I am quite literally hiding myself from them. Those parts of me which are perceived by others to be coldness are little more than fear; those who would call me unapproachable would only be observing the way in which I have put forth every attempt to make myself all but impenetrable to the outside world. Unfortunately, try as I might, there are some individuals who I will never be able to escape: my retainers. I am extraordinarily uncomfortable with the fact that each and every one of my guardians has delved deeply into what was once the most private and treasured of my sanctuaries; the very nature of our beings removes all but the barest hints of privacy. It is hideous and unavoidable, how I could learn to think in any language ever known and still the emotion would spill forth, unhindered by a barrier made of words. This keeps me all the more determined to clutch what shreds of secrecy I have left with unrelenting force. How could I bear the intrusion of any others upon my most personal torments when I can hardly bear the way in which I must inadvertently share almost every feeling I have, even when it is with those dearest to me?”
“I suppose it hardly helps my case to admit that I have a very difficult time trusting other people –- though I can't imagine that anyone would blame me very much if they had been there to see the look of utter disgust and aberration on my former fiancee's face when he realized that I am little more than a monster. When one has been so completely abandoned, turned on at a moment's notice by the one person who was supposed to accept even the greatest of flaws, it becomes all but impossible to trust again. And, quite frankly, why should I? May I remind you that I grew up amidst royalty, and they above all others are known for their lies; it is yet another of the invisible scars left upon me by my upbringing, this inability to believe there is a single person -- with the exception of my servants, who are unable to betray me. So yes, I am mistrustful; admittedly, I could quite probably afford to be less defensive about the way that I am, but I feel entirely too vulnerable to be anything less than adamant about my disposition and the fact that it will not be changing any time soon. I am at times consumed by my inability to refrain from questioning others' motives, from wondering what they want to take from me or just precisely which one of my many afflictions will send them screaming into the night. So you see, better to chase them away with a refusal to give my trust to anyone who has not very thoroughly earned it. I simply cannot bring myself to have complete confidence in anyone, even in myself. There are simply too many opportunities for that faith to be broken.”
“All signs point to the notion that I am completely and utterly jaded in every aspect of my life; I won't bother attempting to deny it. After all, there is so very little to believe in these days –- people lie, people hurt, people change, people leave. Spells of bad luck are cast undeservedly upon decent, innocent individuals. Now, don't jump to conclusions; I assure you, I know very well that I am little more than a spoiled, sheltered little girl, embittered by the dissolution of my pampered life. My diluted version of losing everything I once thought I had is nothing at all in comparison to the hardships of others, but does that make me any less a product of the terrible world in which we live? It is safest and most practical to make oneself aware of the many falsities of this world and learn only to attach oneself to those precious few things which are worth keeping. Though you may find it difficult to fathom, I do believe in some things, such as family –- true family, not that which is forced on you by blood –- and loyalty. I believe in honesty and in doing the best we can with what we've been given, in surviving day to day and co-existing if not willingly, then civilly. While I find that I have very little faith, I also find that what faith I can muster is resolute in its allegiance to those few things I hold dear, and that it is positively unmoving in the face of those who would attempt to sway me from the code by which I have chosen to conduct myself and my personal business.”[/blockquote]
~ Weapons ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ID: [blockquote]Magic.[/blockquote] Quality: [blockquote]Average.[/blockquote] Type: [blockquote]Primary --- Magic. It’s an incredibly complex, intricate art that many aspire to use. A great number of people have tried to use it, and have gained an adequate skill when utilizing it. However, there are very few – next to none, to be more precise – people that have mastered it. Many of these masters of the arcane have devoted their entire lives to doing so, causing them to be on the verge of death by the time they have become masters. The reason that it is only mastered by the most willing and powerful sorcerers in simply how dangerous it can be. Yes, while summoning a lightning bolt to smite your foes, or encasing them within a deluge can be fun, it’s just as likely that said bolt or deluge will turn on the caster and promptly slay them without mercy. For this reason, many magic users choose to channel their magic through different mediums, whether they are wands, staves, ancient tomes, runes, etc. etc. Seira, however, is one of the few exceptions to this rule. Not only is she quite young, especially considering that she has more magical skill than most, but she refuses to use any medium to channel her magic. Part of the reason for this is that, on her world, any magician who chose to use such mediums were considered pathetic, incompetent individuals, and were often banished, or treated like dirt because they were taking the ‘easy way out’. No, Seira uses her own body as medium, utilizing the vast amounts of arcane energy within her body to cast her spells. There are both positives and negatives to using her own body, of course, but in her opinion, it’s worth the risk. One of these positives is that she can cast spells faster than blinking, while those using staves, wands, etc. etc. require more time, as they must send their magic through their chosen medium before it is released out into the world. Because of this, Seira’s brand of magic – called ‘Sin Magic’, as it draws on her own personal hardships to cast spells based on the ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ – is perfect for combat. Rather than having to sit there and chant words in a long-forgotten language, she can just battle her foes with the same speed and efficiency they have with a sword, spear, or other more conventional weapons. Her normal attack, as she has no weapon to fight with, is in the form of a crimson arrow, which is flat, and about six inches long. She can throw three of these per post, and they travel up to ten feet in any direction.[/blockquote]

~ Abilities ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AP left: [blockquote]0.[/blockquote] [blockquote]» Gluttony. Described as the over-indulgence or over-consumption of something to the point of waste. This spell does almost exactly what the definition says. Minus the waste part, anyway. It gives Seira the ability to literally steal the abilities of her foes, and use them to her own advantage, often using said abilities to either harm her enemies, support her allies, or strengthen herself. Simply by seeing an ability in use, the Baroness is able to add that ability to her arsenal. These mimicked abilities retain all of their normal properties, such as cooldown time, strength, number of uses, certain conditions it requires, etc. etc. One could say that through the use of Gluttony, Seira often over-consumes the abilities of her foes, as she can switch up the skills in her arsenal at any point in battle, with a single limitation. She is unable to mimic more than three abilities per post, after which time she must wait until her next post to mimic any more. An important thing to note is that any abilities used by her foes – be they weapon abilities, passive abilities, etc. etc. – are able to be mimicked. However, passive abilities are quite a bit more difficult to copy, as Seira must actually see them in effect. For example, if a foe happened to have an ability granting them incredible strength, Seira would have to actually witness the use of this strength herself before she is able to use it.
Strength: Strong. Uses: Seira is able to mimic any number of abilities at a time, as long as said abilities never add up to more than 6 AP. While she is able to switch around her abilities at will, [ as long as she doesn’t learn more than three abilities in one post, as described above ] Seira must make room for said ability if no such room exists. For example, if she had one Strong abilities learned, and wanted to learn even one Weak ability, she would have to discard one of the Strong abilities to make room.
» Despair. Described as a feeling of dissatisfaction or discontent, which causes unhappiness with one's current situation, especially involving thoughts of hopelessness. And as Seira’s felt an abundance of despair throughout her life – from the destruction of her kingdom to being teamed up with such pathetic losers – she has more than enough experiences to draw from when casting this spell. As memories of her sorrow flood through her body, magic begins to form around her fingers – of a deep blue color, not unlike the color of the sea at night. With a sweep of her hand, Seira can send this magic away in beams of light – ten at a time, as she has, believe it or not, ten fingers. These beams are shaped like arrows, are about a meter in length, and are approximately three inches across. As they are rather small, these bolts of magic are able to move quite quickly – at about fifty miles an hour, to be a bit more precise – allowing quick enough foes the ability to dodge them. Not easily, mind you, but it’s still possible. These bolts can travel a distance of about forty meters in any given direction before disappearing.
[»] Searing Sorrow is the strongest form of ‘Despair’. Rather than forming the magic around her fingertips, Seira can form them into small round disks – about three inches thick and a meter across – that hover an inch from the palm of her hand. These disks can be tossed, just like the beams, and have exactly the same speed and distance limit described above. However, the true power of this ability is revealed when Seira brings these disks together. When the two disks make contact, a massive beam of energy – about twenty meters across and ten high – will burst forth from the direction Seira is indicating. This beam does Strong-level damage to anything it comes in contact with, and will actually break through most inanimate objects – weapons and other player-held objects are the exception to this rule.
Strength: Strong. Uses: Infinite uses of the beam, though she can only send off volleys of ten twice per post. Searing Sorrow can only be used every five posts.
» Wrath. Described as inordinate and uncontrolled feelings of hatred and anger. Raising one hand towards the sky, and thrusting the other in the direction of the ground, the Baroness sweeps her hands around in a full circle, twelve basketball-sized orbs of magic appearing around her person. These balls can be sent in any direction – all in one direction, in different directions, etc. etc. – reaching distances of up to sixty feet – and will deal moderate-level damage to anyone or anything they touch. But that is not all. At any time, Seira can snap her fingers, causing twelve beams of magic – identical to those described in the above ability, just tinted black, rather than white – to break off from the orb in question. These beams do very little damage, but have incredible homing capabilities, making it nearly impossible to shake them off, unless their target can somehow cause them to crash into something or someone else. However, considering that these beams only move at approximately twenty miles an hour, it can be rather easy to outrun them. As long as said target is sure to keep moving.
[»] Annihilation is the strongest form of ‘Wrath’. Magic forming around one of her fingertips – her pointer finger, usually – Seira can choose up to five targets. Said targets do not have to be people, but could also be general locations, structures, etc. etc. These targets appear to be many circles weaving around and through each other, with ancient runes in a long-forgotten language filling in the spaces. When this target has been placed on five objects/people/whatever, Seira can choose to release this attack’s true potential. An important thing to note is that these targets will remain for two posts, and can be activated at any point during that time. When Seira releases the attack’s true potential, twelve beams of light – exactly like the ones described in ‘Annihilation’ -- will rain down from the sky at thirty miles an hour. Twelve beams for each target, which do a fair bit of damage if all of them hit their target.
Strength: Strong. Uses: The orbs will last indefinitely unless destroyed – which is quite possible, considering that the orbs have the health of a C-Class minion – or by having their energy released by Seira. After each and every orb has been destroyed, Seira must wait six turns before she is able to summon more. Seira is also only able to pick out targets every four posts.[/blockquote]
Name: Theodore and Leonidas Vega-North. However, they are simply known as 'The Twins'.
Appearances: The Twins are really rather unremarkable. They look exactly like any other teenagers, with the exception of their eyes. While one has light blue, almost white eyes, the other has crimson ones. Also, one has red and green highlights in his hair, while the other has blue and gold. They are both garbed in black cloaks that are clasped at their necks by golden brooches with the crest of the Illyrian crest within it's depths.
Abilities:
Bright/Dark Nova ~ Due to the sheer amounts of magic under their control, the Twins have the ability to take on an alternate form. One can transform into a being made of light, the other one made of darkness. These forms bear a slight resemblance to squids. Squids that can fly and fire beams of energy from their eyes, anyway. These beams do weak damage, and can fire at an opponent from up to thirty feet away. The Twins, when in Nova Form, are also able to fly at up to fifty miles per hour, allowing them to act as wonderful scouts.
Strength: Moderate.
Uses: This form lasts for five posts, and there is a cooldown of two turns before it can be used again.
Magic Torrent ~ Each of the Twins is able to fire off a blast of magical energy from their hands that not only deals weak-level damage, but also knocks whoever it strikes ten feet backwards, making it the perfect ability to use when being attacked by multiple foes.
Strength: Weak.
Uses: Infinite, with a one post cooldown.
Elemental Weakness: Physical Attacks.
History: Not much is known about the lives of the mysterious Twins. However, they are the most powerful of Seira's retainers, and would gladly give their lives to protect her from harm.[/blockquote]
[blockquote]Grade: B.
Name: While each of them has their own individual name, they are known simply as the 'White Knights'.
Appearances: It is impossible to tell the White Knights apart. Each one of them wears a set of white robes, complete with a hood that hides their faces from view. They also each carry a golden rapier which they wield with deadly skill. Despite their relatively young age, they are formidable opponents in their own right.
Abilities:
Incandescence ~ The White Knights are able to cover themselves in a layer of light which repels any abilities of Weak strength. This layer can repel three abilities before it fades, and will last until the Knight that is using it is defeated if it is not struck by any Weak abilities. Abilities of any other strength can penetrate the layer, but will not cause it to fade, due to the nature of it.
Strength: Moderate.
Cooldown: There is a cooldown of three posts – after the layer is broken – before it can be used again.
Elemental Weakness: Darkness.
History: The White Knights make up the remainder of Seira's retainers. As they are of lower rank than Seira and the Twins, they often act as pawns in battle, starting off the fight before the others move in. [/blockquote]
~ History ~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[blockquote] "Well as you must know by now, I am Seira Sanada. And if you are to understand my history, you must first understand what it means to be an Sanada.”
“My family prides itself on its long and elaborate history, the entirety of which has been passed down from generation to generation for centuries. I do literally mean centuries. Our earliest known ancestors are Hironobu Sanada and his wife Keiko, an established merchant whose work led him to settle in Illyria many years ago. As his wares were from a far-off land, they were in high demand, and everyone that could afford it bought what he offered. His fortune grew at an incredible rate, and soon he was able to live better than the king at that time did. Having a manor built atop the highest hill in the kingdom, Benici mysteriously chose to go into seclusion one day, breaking off all contact with the other members of the kingdom.”
“As it turned out, his life wasn‘t as amazing as everyone had thought. His wife was dying. She had contracted a terrible illness through an unknown source, and if he did not do something about it, he would lose the only woman he truly cared about. Striking a deal with a hooded traveller, Keiko was healed. But at a terrible price. The deal was, for healing her, the first female born into Hironobu’s family would be cursed. What this curse would entail was not revealed at the time, but he knew that it could not possibly be good.”
“Strangely enough, my family lived on for generations without a single daughter being born. Until my birth. Thousands of years went by, and yet, a continuous stream of sons were born. Thus, I was the one destined to take on this terrible curse. The curse caused the souls of the dead, both those that had been dead for years and years and those that died in my presence to flood into my body, filling my soul with darkness. Eventually, this darkness amassed into a creature of terrible power, who threatened every day to transform me into a being of similar evil. Mind you, this all occurred within this first few weeks of my life. It‘s just gotten worse as time has gone on.”
“My father, Daisuke, did a variety of things to ensure that I would be able to control this beast. First, he taught me how to control magic, a skill that he was incredibly talented in himself. By doing so, he helped me concentrate, which in turn prevented the creature from breaking free. He also enlisted the aid of a number of my relatives who were as proficient with magic as I, who made a vow to become my retainers, to protect me from harm. By making the vow, they were able to link their minds with mine, also enabling them to know when the beast threatened to arise once more.”
“Fifteen years passed by uneventfully, up until the day I was supposed to marry my then-fiancée Wataru. Due to the fact that my retainers were not allowed to enter the ceremony, they weren‘t able to keep the beast in check when it broke free. I transformed for the first time into… that monster that threatens to destroy me on a daily basis. Seeing what I was, Wataru fled, calling me what I now realize I am. A monster. And nothing more. That day I killed almost everyone in Illyria. I snuffed out so many lives that day… it… well… it changed me, in an irreversible way. I fled that day as well, refusing to see the carnage that I had caused.”
“Those days are mainly a blur, but I remember arriving in… Halloween Town, if I recall correctly. Arriving there and feeling as if I fit in, as I wasn’t the only monster there. Of course, my retainers tried to help me -- tried to remind me that I wasn’t a monster, no matter what I had done. But I couldn’t agree. I had committed such atrocities, I doubted I would ever feel human again.”
“That changed.”
“About a week after I arrived in Halloween Town, I fought the Heartless for the first time. I’m not sure why, but whenever I defeated one of them, I felt… I felt good. It was as though the darkness in my heart faded whenever I destroyed the disgusting beings. There, I made a decision. While I hadn’t exactly gotten over what I had done, I realized that destroying the Heartless made things better. So I vowed to defeat them. Wherever they were. But I also vowed that I would regain control of a kingdom of some sort, even if it was not my own. Why? Well I just wouldn’t feel right if the line of rulers died with me. And as long as I live, I will fight to ensure that line continues.” [/blockquote]

Rocket here! Just wanted to point out a few small things-- Bilby once said you couldn't have multiple abilities for the same thing, immediately after doing so himself. (Immediately excused away as the abilities in question were Hercules' strength, and because it left Herc with less ability slots to do more damage. xD) I'd assume such policy would apply in a fashion you wouldn't much like Ryu, to you having two abilities that're identical. On the same note-- when Madam Mim was getting the heck beaten into her profile, I got nagged with the itty bitty rule of thumb stating "an ability cannot copy more AP then it has". So, if a Strong ability has 6 AP, it can only copy up to 6 AP worth of abilities. Otherwise, it's a two-for-one sale on abilities, which'd be exploitation of less AP for more power blah blha baaaaalh. Second, for shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. Using Org resources to buy abilities for Axel, and then transfering more than the same amount's worth over to another character. In another faction. Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. XD I'd hold it against you, if it weren't for the agreement made! Get on that! Regardless, such a transgression calls for revision! Expect a revision in Organization Munny Pool policy soon, you sneaky person you! *cough* Okay, I'm done. Shopkeeper, take it away!
