Emi hesitantly took the drink offered to her. Distrust borne of years of back-stabbing told her not to drink it, that it was poisoned. She squished the feeling flat trying to remind herself that not everyone was out to get her.
So they're dolls... magic dolls? Okay, I can handle that, she thought. She took a sip of her coconut beverage. It was quite tasty. She bit her lip and pondered Sera's question. What about her? What was there to tell? She shifted self-consciously, attempting to hide her bare arms. She never cared about it until she got around people. She hoped Sera, Eva and Elizabeth hadn't noticed, although she doubted it.
"Well... I'm Emi DesCoteaux. I'm seventeen years old, almost eighteen. Originally from Radiant Garden but more recently from Twilight Town. I like butterflies and playing the drums and I'm travelling the worlds looking for...home, I guess," she said. No need to tell the whole story. No need to drag it out past the basics.

Sera just cocked her eyebrow. She took a sip from her coconut and looked at Emi.
Looking around worlds for a home? I wish I could do that, but that's not going to happen.
Seeing as those black things took it from you.
Sera bobbed Elizabeth backwards on her back.
Well I intended to rebuild. But that's beside the point, in business a shop can go so far on it's own. For it to expand and survive sometimes it needs to merger and make partnerships. You do know where I'm going with this right?

"What, are you some kind of con artist now? Want me to invest my last munny in some scheme?" Emi snapped. Involuntary cynicism. She scolded herself. It probably wasn't anything like that. She was just jumping to conclusions.
She made a visible effort to restrain herself from saying anything else hurtful and then said, through gritted teeth "What is it exactly you want me to do?"

Sera almost had to smile at herself.
You know if I was a con artist, I would have gotten you by now. But as you can see I didn't.
Which would've been awesome.
What I'm just offering is that we have a partnership. Something to keep us in contact. See like I said, I'm trying to rebuild what I lost. I looking for a good place to start. Maybe you could give me information on some places.

"Just information though, right? I could do that," Emi said. She sipped her drink and sat down in the sand. If I play my cards right I could maybe squeeze some 'compensation' out of this woman.

Yes that is all I'm asking for. As the saying goes 'Location, Location, Location'. I first thought of here but as I made my observations there were a few problems. For starters, the size of this island isn't exactly much. Then there's also the natural food supply here too. This is a fine location and all but I feel it would be too risky right now.
Eva stood up, took the tray with the drinks and left again off somewhere of unknown origin. Sera pulled Elizabeth upright and took a sip.
So anyways I'm just curious, have you been to a few worlds that may look promising?
((And so we come back to where the title begins... Don't worry we have some fun...soon or later, depends.))

Sera spoke like a true business woman. Emi watched Eva go and wondered what it must be like to have someone do stuff for you like that. Must be nice. Sera grew up a totally different way than Emi had. She hoped this wouldn't become a problem between them.
"Interesting, you say? I've come across plenty of those. None of them really suitable for setting up a shop. This would probably be your best bet unless you wanted to do business out in a jungle with some gorillas. Twilight Town might be good too, though. My homeworld would've been a great place... I don't know what kind of condition its in now, though. And if you found it before I did, I might get a little upset."
She sighed and then chuckled.

Sera smirk as Eva returned with a tray in one arm, a parasol in the other and a duffel bag slung over her shoulder. She placed the tray down, on it were coconuts. Then she grabbed the parasol in both of her hands and stabbed it into the sand. She positioned it so that the shade covered both Sera and Emi. Then going back to the coconuts, she did a 'karate chop' splitting the coconuts. She backed off after chopping the coconuts, and opened the duffel bag. She pulled a cloth rolled up then unraffled it. On it are items that would be used to clean metals and sharpening them. Then she reached into the duffel bag again, and pulled out, in this order, katars, a chef's knife, a rapier, and then she grabbed Sera's derringer and went to work cleaning the items in front of her.
Well if I wanted to have some excitement I'll be sure to keep the jungle in mind. Twilight Town... hmm, that maybe promising. Now I know I may be pushing here what can you tell about your home?
Eva grabbed the chef's knife and Elizabeth who for the time was quiet announced to Eva what she wanted.
Make sure you sharpen to a clean cut Eva. Yes Big Sister.

Emi watched Eva clean and sharpen knives. She answered, hesitantly and absent-mindedly "I don't remember much of anything...um...okay, I have to ask... what up with the knife-sharpening there?"

Sera took one of the coconuts and ate some of the coconut flesh. Well it's to keep the blades sharp. You know I have to say it's pretty hot today. Eva.
And with that Eva stopped what she was doing and and reached into the bag and pulled out a narrow item. Sera took and *floosh* she opened it to reveal that it was a fan. Which she started using to fan herself.
Big Sister the blade is sharpened to what you asked. I'll be the judge of that, Sera if you please. You ask more than I do. Eva the knife please.
Eva placed the handle in Sera's hand and with a wave of Sera's fan Elizabeth's joints began to move. Sera handed the blade to Elizabeth. Then she grabbed a coconut and tossed it into the air. Elizabeth jumped into the air and sliced the coconut in half. Elizabeth looked at it then threw straight at Eva.
It's not sharp enough. I want to be able make a clean cut all the way.
Eva nodded her head in agreement and went to sharpening it even more.
I know it seem that I've talked alot, I guess you may have many questions even right now. So grab yourself a coconut and ask away 'partner'.

Emi looked on with a blank look.
"No... no questions...wait, what are you sharpening knives for? Expecting a battle soon or something?.
She honestly couldn't think of anything else to say. She watched Elizabeth (who she previously thought hadn't been able to move) slice the coconut in half and jumped back, startled.

Well to be honest, it's always good to keep your weapons in good condition. After all you may never know when that battle will arise.
No sooner had she spoke those word, three gigantic Shadows appeared from a distance, and slowly made their way over to their direction.
Much like that... Eva.
Without much more said Eva had already attached her katars behind her back and had straped on Sera's rapier. She handed Sera the derringer as Sera slowly fanned herself.
Finally some action. Lets have a challenge, first one to knock down these guys win. Ready Amazon?
((Did say there would be action sooner or later... Lol 'Amazon' see it's funny because Elizabeth said it... Lol.))

Emi narrowed her eyes at Elizabeth. Was that an insult? No matter. This was a crowded beach and people were panicking and running and screaming and making a fool of themselves. Of course, no one noticed when the doll started jumping around with a sword but when giant black monsters appear, people go crazy. Emi didn't blame them. She probably would've done the same thing, minus the girlish screams.
Emi stumbled over to her beach bag, flinging sand everywhere. She pulled out her sticks and spun them around a bit. New sticks. Not used to them. No matter. She wasn't going to say she was better than Elizabeth, she'd witnessed what could be done...but...
"Don't get sand in your joints!" she laughed as she raced past the little doll girl.

Sera gave Eva a quick glance, signaling her to go with their newfound partner. Off Eva dashed to catch up, as Sera just causally walked towards the upcoming fight with a motionless Elizabeth now in her arms.
You know I actually like that girl. Yes she is an interesting person, not much can be said about her though. I just like her because of the addittude... and the tattoo. Tattoo? The one on her arm, but beside the point next time we come here could I at least have a swimsuit? You can't do much. I can tan. Fair enough. Ready? Always.
Sera flipped her fan open again doing little flicks here and there bring Elizabeth's joints back to motion. As Sera dropped Elizabeth she pulled out her derringer and fired three shots, each one going to the three shadows. The shadows felt these shots turned and saw one 'meal' and an object running straight at them. Slowly they crawled as one of them did a jump attack towards Emi. The other two going for the object.

Yeah, when you see a big honkin' Heartless coming at you, you move. Emi sprinted out of the way and using the momentum from the dash, spun around and flung Duskywing at the massive Shadow.
