Iatros was a bit surprised and off-put by the look the heartless gave him. For a second it almost looked like it had emotion before it charged him to attack again, the other one mimicking is strategy. Iatros let a grin slip onto his face as he waited for the two to charge him.
At the last second, jumped over the one he had hit with the fireball, doing a front flip and bringing his sword with him as he did, slashing at the shadow from above. When he land on his feet, he spun around and slashed horizontally, hoping to get either the one that he had leaped over from behind, or the other that had charged at him.

Luck was in Iatros' favor, as he managed to hit both of the Neoshadows with his horizontal strike. But he had forgotten about the third Neoshadow. It flew up and in its frenzy struck him three glancing blows before he could move out of the way. Re-righting itself, the Neoshadow seemed to stare maniacally at him, and it slowly edged towards him, claws twitching. The other two surrounded him on his other sides, leaving him with nowhere to go.
If he perhaps spun and struck all three, Iatros might be able to back them off enough to give him room to breathe.
[Reaction Commands are always optional, but they will usually deal extra damage or otherwise leave you in an advantageous situation. I will place them in bold for you to distinguish]

Iatros let out a small growl from the pain of his new wounds. He wasn't going to let it bring him down though. When he saw that he had been surrounded, he flipped his blade into reverse grip. He jumped a bit of the ground and started to spin in the air, bringing his sword around with him. When his feet touched the grounded, he spun around again thanks the momentum of the first spin. The effect was like a small tornado of slashes from his sword, aimed at all three shadows.

The slashing tornado hit all three of the Neoshadows and knocked them backwards. One of them appeared to be stunned, one phased into the ground, becoming a shadow on the floor, and the third was only knocked back for a moment before it charged forward again. He had two choices, dodge roll out of the way of the approaching Neoshadow, or leap over it. It was moving far too quickly to attack it back.
After moving out of the way in some way, shape, or form, the choices were near infinite. However, if he attacked the one that was stunned, he would likely be able to discern its weakness.

Iatros grinned at his small success at batting back the shadows. It was short lived though as one of the creatures immediately charged at him. He didn't have enough time to attack to he leapfrogged of it. When he landed, he noticed that one of the shadows was stunned. Without missing a beat he fired a bolt of blue magic at it, hoping to finally take on down.

The Neoshadow on the ground was nearly torn apart by the intensity of the Magick Missile. It turned into a pool of darkness, becoming a shadow like its other fellow had before.
The other Neoshadow that had formed into a shadow leapt at him, too quickly to dodge, and gashed him with its claws. Only one connected before he was able to dodge. But, behind him, the other Neoshadow attacked. He was trapped by two Neoshadows, with no way to dodge both. He was going to have to think of his own way out of this one.

Iatros winced at another wound he had gain from the shadow. He looked over his shoulder and saw the other two shadows in mid attack already. If he didn't do something fast they were going to take him down. In a panic, he quickly and fluidly back flipped over the two heartless, managing to dodge their attacks by mere inched. When he landed, he stood there in shock at what he had just done. 'What the hell?' he thought to himself 'How the hell was I able to dodge that? I can't move like that out side of Blitzball...can I?'
{Just to let you know, I'm rping the upgrade of one of Iatros' abilites, Blitzball reflexes.}

The three Heartless stared him down, then, suddenly, they turned into shadows and vanished. There was a rumbling further in the tomb, which then slowly ground to a halt. The room suddenly lit up, torches flaring simultaneously with blue fire...
Wait, blue fire? Wasn't that a bad sign? Oh, well... There was something shining off to the side...half-covered by a cloth robe. It looked valuable, however. Very, very valuable.
In Iatros' vision there was giant stone doors leading to the next chamber. An aura of darkness was emanating from the room, and an indescribable feeling of terror fell over him. There was something in there, and it was big. And angry >.<

Iatros watched as the shadows dispersed, then toward the large door that had bee previously hidden by the shadows. The shadows had fled because they were scared, and they weren’t scared of him. Whatever they ran from was behind that door. He could feel the darkness from it, and he wasn't all that keen on meeting whatever was beyond the door. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a shiny cloth cover object. Walking over to it he stared down at it for a second before lifting the cloth to see what he would find.

Underneath the cloth was a small figurine. It appeared to be a Heart made out of a silvery material, but, as it was brought into the light, it darkened severely and became a black, pulsating Heart.
A voice echoed from nowhere, "The Heart of the Heartless King...he doesn't need it now..." The voice fell to cackling until it faded away. A fell wind circled the room, and the doors to the next room creaked as if in impatience. The Heart quivered, as if also in fear of what lie in wait in the next room.

Iatros looked around for the source of the strange voice. When he found none, he shrugged his shoulders and Picked up the Black Heart. He turned it over examining it for a moment, ignoring the creaking coming from the giant door. Then, with a flick, he put the black heart inside his pocket dimension. With that it was now full.
With his new souvenir tucked away, he purposefully strode over to the doors. He stood in front of the doors, looking forward as if he was staring through them. Whatever was killing the workers here was behind this door. "Well, time to get this over with." Iatros muttered to him-self as he pushed open both doors easily thanks to his arcane strength.

Light filtered through windows, even though it was physically impossible for that to happen. Shadows from around the corners of the room gathered together on the balcony above, forming a shadow being of vaguely humanoid shape. Flickering in and out, the shadow being appeared to be in the middle of regenerating. "Why have you disturbed my slumber?" The voice echoed across the large chamber. Floating from its place above the area below, the creature of darkness lay its feet down on the ground. Solidifying, it gathered the darkness around it into the form of a sword, blackened by time and dark energy. "Prepare to meet your doom...for I am the King, Sharrd Ulrock, the Heartless King!"[/i] Quickly, Sharrd flew forward, slashing his sword at Iatros. Barriers surrounded the battlefield. The only way out was to win, or to get the opposition to flee. There was no other way to victory.

Iatros gave a small shudder at the amount of darkness coming off the shadow king. This was going to be no easy fight. As the King came at him with his sword, Iatros easily spun to the side, avoiding the sword swipe. He didn't know why his movements were so much better since the fight with the heartless before, but he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
From what he could guess, his magic was starting affect his reaction speed and reflexes like it did his strength. His little move had put him behind the shadow king. Not thinking twice, Iatros lunged forward with his sword, ready to stab the King in the back, his arcane strength adding to the power of the blow.

Sharrd, the Shadow King, roared in protest, spinning around and leaping into the air much faster than his opponent had, and much higher as well. In his hand gathered a ball of dark energy, red colored and raging. It was a Dark Magick Missile, a move so very similar to one of Iatros' own. The ball of energy shot down and blasted away a chunk of the stone near Iatros. "You interloper, daring to disturb my eternal slumber. For this, I shall raise my army of darkness and destroy this world. But first," he raised his hand, red-black energies swirling together and forming into a ball of energy, "I will be sure to crush you!"[/i] The ball shot downward, splitting apart into several other balls of energy which then rained down upon Iatros. The Shadow King landed on the balcony above and watched as his opponent was made mince meat of...or so he expected.

Iatros quickly shielded his face from the debris of the former chunk of stone. That attack looked a lot like his magic missile. How did this king know of arcane magic? Whatever the reason, Iatros had to destroy this shadow king, less he be killed himself. He looked up to find more magic bolts flying toward him. He muttered an " Aw crude..." before springing into action.
He batted the first to energy bolts away with his sword. He then performed various flips and spins to dodge the others, the last one managed to hit him in the left shoulder. Iatros grabbed his shoulder, blood poring out from the wound. If he didn't have his arcane aura, that could have been a lot worse.
When the bleeding slowed enough he let go of his shoulder and looked defiantly toward the kind. He lifted up his left and fired his own magic missile at Sharrd. Using he high jump, he followed the path of the bolt of magical energy. He landed on the balcony and quickly swung his sword, aiming o take off the king’s head.
