As Xaldin and Roxas neared each other, Roxas became surrounded by a sparkling aura. He was now temporarily invincible. He then slashed his Keyblade twice, sending out two visible arcs of energy at Xaldin. Roxas doubted that this would be enough, but he wasn't finished yet.
Now Roxas was no traitor, but Namine was his objective. Marluxia had explicitly said as much. Roxas had no intention of letting Xaldin gain any distance between the two however, and would keep up as best as he could.
He slashed once more, and well, if Xaldin couldn't get away, he would be in some serious trouble. This attack was unblockable, and the fact that Roxas was using his ability to make his Keyblade float as he did so added up to twenty feet.
"Sure you're ready for this Xaldin. You couldn't even beat my other."
Action Recap
Invulnerable- Invincible for three posts. Won't take any damage and is immune to status effects as well. Arc Wave 6/8 remaining Invincible- Attack that is five times greater than normal. Can't be blocked by anything, but can be dodged. Nothing's Reach- Roxas' Keyblades now float around him. Increase in range (20 feet away from him).

[Unfortunately, Hito has dropped out. Just assume that Repliku went *poof.* Or wasn't there at all, and was just an illusion. Whatever floats your boat.]
Namine, as the two Org. members began to fight, she knew she needed to stay away from the close combat, as that would never be good for her.
Backing up, she pointed her finger at Xaldin and said, "Gravity!" As the dark orb descended on the dragoon, she prepared herself to use her Explosion equip if Xaldin rushed her.

Something fizzled. And then popped - like a bottle of champagne opened in reverse. Xaldin blinked as the replica disappeared from his senses. Not through a portal or corridor but simply gone. Vanished. His moment of distraction was costly - the first of the waves hammered into his shield - while not an extraordinary attack in any meaning of the word, and suitably dampened by his aero, it still wasn't an attack he should have taken.
Still. What?
He arrested the momentum of his lances aimed towards the where the replica had once stood and the girl now did stand - while the girl was reportedly not one to be underestimated, there were few with the manual dexterity to fend off attacks from four separate locations simultaneously. And he was pretty sure she wasn't the purely defensive type like Vexen was.
Roxas... sparkled. It was apparently some sort of ultimate defense. Joy.
Hopping backwards, he narrowly dodged the next wave. The piping voice shouting 'gravity' was rather unexpected but then again, she shouldn't have had access to the laser attack either. Someone had been learning how to fight rather quickly. Another hop took him forty feet away down the street. Pedestrians shrieked and ran.
Good as he was, Xaldin wasn't going to be able to compete with a keyblade wielder and another round of Ragnorak. He ignored Roxas' taunt - clearly the child still believed that Nobodies could have emotions if he thought Xaldin would miscalculate due to some silly attempt at slander.
Xaldin's spears - their momentum only temporarily arrested - suddenly darted towards Namine.

"Namine!" He ran as fast as he could to take the blows from Xaldin's spears, and just barely made it in time. His Keyblades spun wildly as they deflected them, and then he gripped them once more. And then two Keyblades that looked as if they'd been made purely out of light appeared. And with that, he pointed his Keyblades forward. He then charged forward, and as he did, six large Nobody symbols formed around Xaldin, and slammed together.
"Xaldin stop this! I have orders from Marluxia himself!" He stopped mid charge, and after dispersing Oathkeeper, he put a hand over his mouth, as if he didn't mean to say what he just did. He looked at Namine, frowning.
"Sorry Namine, but I've got orders to take you to Marluxia intact. And Xaldin here was threatening the success of my mission. And your safety." He sighed. He hated having to do this to his friend, but he didn't have much of a choice. If he didn't, there was a good chance she'd get hurt if someone else tried to take her back. That and he wasn't sure how well he should trust Marluxia anyway, at least if he's the one to take her in he could make Marluxia keep his promise.
"Don't worry, he's assured me of your safety, and..." He paused, as if not sure what to say next. "And he said you'd be free to go as soon as you were done doing what he wanted you to." Cue Xaldin calling him out on this.
(And yes this is true, Akito and I discussed using this thread as the beginning of Xion's recreation. Note that Namine is free to run, but Roxas will track her down and bring her back eventually.)

Namine's "heart" sank as she heard Roxas' words.
'So he was just here to take me back...'
She was barely keeping herself from crying as she said to Roxas, "I'm sorry, but I don't want anything to do with the Organization, even if it means having nothing to do with you! Roxas, as long as you're with the Organization, I hate you!"
The small Nobdoy couldn't think of a way to say anything else, and so decided to go on the offensive.
She touched an item in her pocket and said quickly, "River of time, I command you: Stop!"
A field expanded out from it, covering Roxas and stopping him from moving. As that happened, Namine turned and ran away from both the Organization members, darting down an alley to try and ditch them.

"You don't lie very well," Xaldin tut-tutted as he hopped towards the frozen Roxas. "First it's 'I won't bring Namine to Marluxia'... now it's 'I'll bring Namine to Marluxia but only for a little while, really! Trust me on this!'... Do you even realize what you're saying anymore, Key?"
Xaldin shook his head. It'd be so easy to finish it here...
But no. Only someone as pure as a Princess could have possibly overridden the Key-bearer's defense. She hadn't even *thought* of hurting him, merely protecting herself. Such standard had allowed her to bypass thirteen's ultimate shield. If Xaldin attacked, it'd be back to square one.
Xaldin jumped. He landed behind Namine, still a good distance away but still within easy earshot.
"You can't run, Namine."
"You never could."

Unfortunately for Namine and Xaldin, Roxas' delay in movement was due to what Namine had said, not because he was frozen. The moment Xaldin had jumped into the air Roxas had sprinted for Namine. By this time, his ultimate defense was just about used up, so he didn't want to have to risk fighting Namine. As he ran he snapped his fingers, and six Dusks appeared, three of which surrounded Namine, whilst the other three did so to Xaldin.
"For the last time Xaldin, stand down! Or do I need to tell Marluxia of your inability to follow orders?" By this time he had managed to catch up to Namine, and reached out to grab her hand. But she couldn't attack him, as he was nowhere to be seen.

As Xaldin blocked off one end of the alleyway, and the Dusks blocked the other, Namine knew that she was sunk. Yes, she could keep running, but she would tire out before her pursuers did. She'd have to make a stand, however short, here.
"No! I'm not going back to the Organization! Not ever!"
As she shouted this, she activated two equips.
The first, Ragnarok again, took up the alley way as it flew towards Xaldin, hopefully taking him down.
The second was the more dangerous one, Explosion. Right as Roxas and the Dusks closed in on her, the four explosive spheres appeared around her, and one touched Roxas' hand, causing it to detonate. However, the equip was one that required at least some training to use properly, training that Namine didn't have. So, she lost control of the others, which slammed her into a nearby wall, knocking her out.
So ends her last stand. And so begins her second tenure with the Organization.

Roxas was sent flying backward because of the explosion. Somewhat delirious, he shook his head. He slowly stood up and looked around. Namine had been hurt by her own attack. And in the process knocked out. He had hoped that she wouldn't have gotten hurt, and he felt extremely bad that she had, but since it was her own attack, the pain he felt was more from what she had said, and tried to do, just to keep her freedom.
"I'm sorry..." He paused, frowning as he looked down at her unconscious body. "Namine." He picked her up, and held her in his arms.
"Time to go, Xaldin." He opened a corridor of darkness, and stepped within its depths. He had done his part. Marluxia had better do the same.

Xaldin blinked.
And then chuckled. Soon it turned into a full-fledged roar of laughter that shook the fragile silence that had established itself after the fighting had ended - the entire town holding its breath to see just what would happen. Eyes peeked out behind shades before turning away, the spectacle of the cloaked and bloodied man being just a bit too strange and odd for easy observation. Finally, he stopped, his mirth dying down and out.
"How interesting," Xaldin whispered. He created his own corridor of darkness and stepped through. "How interesting."
