Half listening to what Cado was prattling on about, the blonde man cocked an eyebrow in response. The kid was showing some sort of maturity to the whole monster statement from previous which gave Clovis some new insight to him. Nodding his head slightly in a positive manner, he couldn't help but wonder if he had misjudged this kid right from the get-go. Folding his arms, his guard was let down a little bit. Often one to be distracted with ease, the synthesis hunter turned around to face Cado. "You know...your not half as bad as I thought" he said with a little laughter towards the end of his comment before turning away from him once again.
What he had said concerning the Heartless seemed to be true. Well according to the MAD at least but they're were no signs of them yet. The only other time the reading had been this high and no heartless were around was when a Bulky Vendor was lurking the shadows. Clovis got a huge payout for that which paid off the rest of his loan for that ring for Sierra. "I hope it is a Bulky Vendor" he thought to himself with his left hand touching his in a thinking manner.
Unfortunately the fates were going to be cruel today and issue a more harsh scenario. Without a moments hesitation there were several swirls of purple darkness in perfectly spherical manner. From these voids were none other than the local variety of Wight Knights and Trick Ghosts. Second nature to the hunter his right hand extended down and hard towards the floor. A flash of light steel blue occured in which the shimmering dual ended blade of Grosserfluss appeared in his hands. Swirling the weapon around in a stylish manner, one of the blades rested on his right shoulder. Those shadows had completely surrounded the two of them and outnumbered them.
Perhaps they would have a little trouble with them. Clovis assured himself he would be fine. A cocky smirk appeared on his pale face as his opponents taunted him with waves of they're long arms and fidgeting of their eyes. "You'd better be handy with that steel..." he said to Cado in a more serious tone than the sentence would lead one to believe. "Don't want to be dragging your heart-less body back to your mother now..." he continued with a little chuckle at the end. "Heartless. I kill myself sometimes" he mentally remarked. The bout was about to begin. Clovis and Cado versus the Heartless Scum.
[ There are five Wight Knights and four Trick Ghosts. Click there names to see pictures if you don't remember what they look like. Feel free to control the heartless and lets try to keep this skirmish short so we don't get bored xD]

Cado laughed. It would appear that Clovis was something of a joker himself. Sword now ready for action, he let out a loud roar as he charged at the nearest Heartless.
"Back to Oblivion!"
He swung his sword twice, and it dispersed. He turned to another one and charged at it, and after two or three seconds of running, he impaled it on his weapon, making it disperse. He then ran at a third, but halfway to it his fighting style changed. In fact, it was almost what one would call demonic.
(I'm just going to say he took one of each out for reference, and sorry about the wait, I woulda posted earlier than now, but I've been busy.)

Almost simultaneously, the pair of them shot away from one another to engage the Heartless. With a quick leap forward, he readied his dual ended blade, Grosserfluss by mounting it on his right shoulder with one hand. A few steps of running he was in ample distance to deliver a swift strike. Barely jumping into the air, he brought the blade down with two hands delivering a hard blow to the shoulder of a Wight Knight. Upon landing the hunter brought the blade back around this time slamming the lower blade into the right side of the heartless before finishing with a clockwise spin building momentum for a powerful cleave.
To his own expectation the Heartless was felled with ease. Clovis quickly initiated his defensive stance once more as a Trick Ghost launched at him, bathed in a eerie purple light. It was trying to rob him of his energy. "Time for some pain..." he muttered to himself readying Grosserfluss by mounting the blade on his shoulder once more. Identical to what he had done previously, the blade was brought down diagonally with only one hand this time. Grabbing the handle with both hands after breaking the Ghosts attack, he thrust upward perfectly vertical launching the ghost high into the air.
Before it hit the ground it had dispersed from this world. Clovis was a little out of the fray for the moment. Most of them appeared to be centering themselves around Cado. Probably thought he was weaker due to his size. Without a moments hesitation in his ice coloured eyes, the blonde hunter focused his magic into his left palm. A red light began to shine from within the closed fist and upon opening his fingers slowly, a small ball of flame loitered in his hand. Concentrating he drew his hand backward whilst catching his breath. Without any notice he thrust his palm forward, now fully extended as the flames gave birth to several larger spheres of flame. At the same time Clovis shouted the words "Fire Bolt!" in which the flames shot directly for a Wight Knight lurking behind Cado. Chances were it would not survive.

Clovis' fire attack did defeat another Heartless. That left four. He smiled quickly at Clovis, and turned back to his target. He had just jumped into the air, and had begun flipping. As he did he drew his gun and fired off two shots, defeating a Trick Ghost. He landed on his feet, and threw his sword as if it was a spear at a Wight Knight. It had jumped to the right as he had hoped, and the moment it did, he had fired three rounds into it, making it disperse.
"Take the other two."

As if he needed queues from the kid to kick some darkness up the backside. With a rather graceful five combination, alternating between the two heartless that were left for his blade, they soon were dealt swift annihilation. With a satisfied smile on his face, he released his grip on Grosserfluss. As expected the blade dispersed with a flash of cerulean light leaving the hunter time to pick up his rewards. Casually swanning over to the large curled hill, he scooped low in his stride to pick up a red capsule. Leaving it in his left hand he approached the second one, different in shape and colour to a more edged design and a light shade of green.
Holding the two of them in his left hand via balancing them on his finger tips, Clovis rummaged in his pocket. Pulling out his MAD he pressed a few buttons with the same hand he was holding it with. Hovering the materials over the screen, a swirl of yellow light encased in numbers and letter in a circular pattern enveloped the object effectively digitizing them within the device. Seconds later the machine beeped confirming what he had gained. Exactly what he needed, bar the light shard of course. The other green container had contained a Serenity Gem. Naturally these were quite high priced but they were just a little under the Bright Shards at the moment. For some reason no heartless appeared to be dropping any in the last few weeks so the prices had skyrocketed.
Shoving it away he turned around the speak to Cado. "Well thats me nearly wrapped up here..." he said with an almost hesitant tone apparent in his voice. Taking a few steps toward Cado just so he could hear him better. "Hey. I'm gonna head into those woods, see if I can get my hands on some Bright Shards. Those things are like gold dust at the minute. You doing much for the rest of the day?" he asked in a friendly manner. This was an obvious hint to the kid as he could clearly handle his own. Clovis even thought he could trust the kid to cover his back. Plus with that obscurely large heartless reading from earlier and that pitiful skirmish before was hardly worth a level 6 reading. Something was up and Clovis knew it.

OC: Sorry about taking so long to reply, but unfortunately I've no muse for Cado right now. I may get rid of the guy soon, or I may just try to tough it out. So...
IC: As much as Cado wanted to help this guy out, he shook his head no. He'd had enough of this world for the time being, and well, his brother wasn't here.
"Sorry, but I've got other places to go." He frowned, and left.
