The figure of a man stood lonesomely from his vantage point on the city wall ramparts, overlooking a certain Magician's hut that was currently experiencing some rather extreme difficulties. Glowing red eyes behind a thin pair of glasses surveyed the fray, detached as if he were watching a rerun movie. It was a fight that had nothing to do with him.
He wore a simple attire of a white formal shirt and black dress pants. Black shoes and white gloves ensured complete coverage, and around his neck hung a red necktie that added color to the somber clothes. Over this, he wore an oak trench coat in which his left hand tucked in the pocket. His right, however, kept a firm grasp on a steel suitcase that was more fitting of the phrase 'more than what it seems' than one could imagine. A magician had his magical hat from which he pulled rabbits, a witch had her broom with which to fly; and this man had his suitcase with which to hide his weaknesses.
Standing an impasse, this flawed man regarded the recent events with the passivity of a merchant inspecting used goods. Such was his unintentional condescension. Still, he kept an eye on that little hut whose owners were struggling with the wave of invaders; why? Said intruders gave him a familiar feeling, an uncomfortable twitch down his spine that he had felt before. Theirs was diluted and weak in comparison, but nevertheless present.
"Jenova...?" He breathed in disbelief, his eyes narrowing as if already remembering an old enemy.

( Jenova? What's that? Nothing I've ever heard of Kingdom Hearts. =P )
"Hmph."
That one, condescending laugh that went beneath the teen's breath was all the answer Cid got for his demands. The Shell Aura appeared, but blocked nothing. Kadaj had not taken any attempt to strike the girl in her vulnerable position but remained where he was, looking at them both as if they were playthings.
But his time for games was coming to an end.
Suddenly the computer monitor seemed to.... concave inward. It looked as though it were melting back into the frame of the terminal display, but went much deeper than physically possible. It was practically forming a tunnel of static. The tunnel then pulsed black once in tandem with a flare in the boy's aura and a small, shining spark flew out of it. The spark flew to Kadaj's open hand, which closed tightly around it immediately. Simultaneous to this the black flames around the silver-haired swordsman's body dispersed and the computer screen returned to its natural state.
The child smiled deviously. His work here was done.

KASSOM As the first of Yazoo's bullets came shooting towards him, Kassom immediately dove for cover behind the desk. When Loz lifted it, however, a very different creature than the "helpless" thief appeared... one covered from head to toe in metal. In the few seconds that Kassom's dodge had given him Ilaelis had taken full control; now, with a three-foot shield on his left arm and a long, curved blade emerging from the other, the Kinzoku, rolled beneath the flying furniture and came up a mere three feet to Loz's right as arcs of crimson energy leapt across his blade. "Boom." Was all the iron-clad scout said as a Pulse Aura shot from his weapon. Given his proximity to Loz it wouldn't be an easy shot to dodge. Then again, neither were Yazoo's bullets. It was mere seconds before shots began crashing against Ilaelis' metal over-skin, bouncing off but still leaving him feeling as if he'd been punched several times. The demon, still crouched, brought his shield to bear, countering most of the steely thunder coming his way. Decently well protected for the moment, Ilaelis stabbed his blade straight down into the floor. Ah... just as he'd hoped! Beneath the carpet was metal -- not really a surprise, since virtually the entire castle seemed to be either stone or steel -- a fact he could use greatly to his advantage! The tip of the blade became liquid, fusing with the floor and sending three slivers of his own metal cache flowing along at a lightning pace. The first erupted as a three foot spike directly beneath where the trigger-happy punk stood, the second appeared in identical fashion right underneath one of the newly-formed monsters, and the third... the third tore through the carpet a foot in front of Cloud, coming up at an angle so as to catch and skewer the incoming desk. "Mortal weapons and puppy dogs, hah!" Ilaelis shouted, the dark metallic resonance in his voice distinguishing it from Kassom's. He pulled his blade from the floor, partially lowering the shield to give Yazoo a dirty look through metal-masked eyes. "Can't a demon get any respect around here?! And to think my host and I were going to let you two live..."-------------------------------------------------------------- MELANA "Whatever you've done here will not go unpunished." Melana decreed, stepping out from behind the Shell Aura's protection to point one saber threateningly at Kajad. Her expression was dead-set, both calm and focused all at once, her eyes glaring with righteous furvor. "I will not tolerate wicked actions such as yours! Surrender, or face judgment at the end of my blades!"

"A scattered dream that's like a far-off memory. A memory that's like a scattered dream. Within that moment, it all came back to this SOLDIER." Cloud's entrance onto the unusual scene certainly left the two brother's in a state of disdain. With First Tsurugi prepped upon entrance, he was already ready to go anytime. Yet it would be the black garbed men whom sprung into action first! Yazoo aiming his gun to shoot at both Strife and the creature whom they held up prior. Unfortunately for Yazoo, as quick as that bullet(s) came, First Tsurugi was angled and ready. Utilizing his finesse as a SOLDIER, the bullet(s) would be reflected away in the simple guard motion as the blade was angled horizontally infront of him. This quick action would serve to turn the tables on Yazoo but it was far from over. His new ally had chosen to seek refuge behind the desk. At least he'd be out of the way; yet as the fight picked up, a sharp sensation was prodding the back of his mind. It came in the form of a sharp whistle but he'd have to ignore it for now.
Loz meanwhile felt the need to lift this desk; revealing Cloud's new "ally" in a whole new light. Covered from head to toe in metal, the little guy was obviously ready to strike back (not that Cloud had time to comment much or build any solid conclusions). Why? For the brute in black decided to hurl the desk at him as if they were going to play Baseball. Unfortunately, Cloud Strife was up for bat and that meant Team Light was getting an instant home run. With the desk hurled at him and Yazoo hopefully distracted from his own bullets, things would take an interesting turn. Depending on if Cloud's quick reflection interupted Yazoo's plans (even a brief distraction before getting a chance to do his aerial shots would do), Cloud was ready for the desk (moreso than Kassom in this case). His form accelerated TOWARDS the desk in top sprint speed. His legs sliding across the castle's terrain as his sword sliced through the desk like a hot knife through butter.
Yet his Fast Thrust would not conclude with such a simple maneuver, already he prepared to connect his next thrust directly into Loz. There wouldn't be any time for him to get those shadows going, not after Cloud's impressive burst of speed and continued burst at that. Yes, just as he came to a close with his Fast Thrust, no sooner did he take off. His form glowing with a blue aura. Sparks of electricity were left in his wake, the prior position which Loz considered him to be at crackling. At this moment, no doubt Loz' shadows would attempt to snake the ground but by then he'd already be face to face with First Tsurugi. Cloud aimed directly for the center of the man's torso. His form seemingly flashing in and out as he attempted to juggle the stranger in a rapid combo.

The dark aura surrounding Kadaj ceased now as he snickered at the woman's words.
"Your attempt to uphold so-called justice is amusing, but I'm afraid our time together is up," Kadaj responded with superiority and a hint of glee. He really did find them amusing, after all. Pitiful babies, screeching at him without knowing the expanse of Mother's need or her love. Honestly, did they even have the slightest idea what exactly he had done, besides defend himself form their interference? They would pay for betraying her return with their ignorance. They all would.
In one swift movement the teenager lunged to his right and dived directly into the computer monitor. The screen turned into static again as he made contact and the silver-haired youth's entire body disappeared through the expanse without a hint of resistance as if it were an open window. Just as his toes vanished the static ceased and the monitor was back to normal.
The boy was gone, with no way to follow him.

CID
"NO!" Roaring, he ran forward, lowering his spear so that he wouldn't skewer his own poor computer. Cid couldn't believe what he saw though. It was sci-fi. It should stay in the books. Not here, where it can pester him and make things difficult like a second Yuffie. His hands touched the domed glass of the screen. Solid glass. Blue eyes and calloused fingers probed every inch of the glass, almost tentatively, as if he feared poking too hard else he be pulled in too like the youth.
Something significant had happened.
But Cid knew nothing. He slammed a fist against the screen. It didn't budge.
Frustration.
LOZ
It didn't take long to kick in. This strange little tremble in the back of the mind. Was it mental? Loz didn't care for it was spreading. As the blond moved, the tremor, like a seedling sapping sunlight, fed on the strange energy emitting from this blond, and it manifested on Loz in tendrils of darkness. It. Was. Strength.
He did not fear such power. In fact, it was as if the man was sharing with him. As Cloud sliced through the table, blazing blue, Loz's figure seemed to mirror the others. But this was nothing like Cloud's power. Whereas Cloud glowed, Loz erupted, from every part of him, blue light burst forth like a jet engine. Bright, violent, comet-like blue, toxic, and dangerous. Evil. Same, but different. This was Mother's Gift. A power given to no one but him, Loz.
Cloud's sword stabbed air.
He had never moved this fast. It was all thanks to this blond. Strong arms grabbed the SOLDIER by the chest, strapping his arms to his side with enough strength to crush a tree trunk and to prevent him from turning for more strikes or even to struggle without snapping his own arms in half.
Still bright blue--they were like neon crayons, reacting chemically and flaring with power--Loz leaned back violently. SLAM went Cloud's spikes and head into the ground, has hard and powerful as Loz's warp speed can go. One move; dodge. Two move; grab. Three move; slam. But oh, he can do so, so, SO much more.
Twisting back up, Loz round house kicked the SOLDIER before gravity can even pull him back down to ground. That should send Cloud flying straight towards Kassom...
Finally, the blue light enveloping Loz slowly darkened back into a shadowy aura, flickering about his buff figure. It was weaker than before, but nevertheless, there was still enough to keep him going forever. He stood on the spot, cracked his neck, and grinned. [/blockquote]

The silver-haired marksman stepped back in a battle stance as events flew about him. The flying desk, the bullets pummeling the metallic demonoid thing; the events of the battle were a river of information that flowed into and through him. He processed all of this, and within him, Yazoo sensed a gathering of power. It was like when he exhaled his nerves were sent outward, filling the very air around him. It was as if he could feel everything; in a sense, he could. His body emitted soft starbursts of purple light all over.
This flash of euphoria quickly boiled into the readiness that defined a soldier eager to use a new weapon. Yazoo took hold of this sensory ability, and was made aware. His mind processed the information. He could not help but hold back a smirk. The fluid ripples of movement beneath his feet were only equally matched by the speed of his synaptic lightning. His muscles moved with natural poise and extreme speed in response to the information, his evaluation perfectly timed.
Black rubber soles slipped an inch this way just as the point of the spike shut upwards, and then slipped back up as the point barely missed its target. Yazoo graciously allowed himself to be carried upward before gently pushing off. An idea sparked to life in the recesses of his mind. The ground accepted him neatly, but without a wasted moment Yazoo continued his unrelenting volley of bullets.
But Ilaelis's taunting elicited a tightened jaw and clenching teeth. Yazoo's eyes stared back in a rage. "Who could respect the one who keeps them from their mother?" He nearly barked, but had enough reserve to hold himself in check. But his hands spoke the truth. All the while, an unrelenting hail of bullets had kept up, and just less than half of them had missed their target by inches or by feet. Out of twenty five shots thus far only thirteen had been even remotely on target; of those, it was hardly likely that even one made contact with anything other than Ilaelis's shield. The sharp cracks of the offtarget shots careening off of walls brought a semblance of recognition to Yazoo's rage-filled mind.
It was sloppy. Terrible that such petty comments had driven Yazoo to this extent. Shameful even. He was acting like a child. He was acting like Loz.

KASSOM "Aw ****."These words Ilaelis muttered in the bare moments before the rapid blur that was Cloud slammed into him like a battering ram, sending the iron-clad Kinzoku slamming into the study's wall. Though it wasn't visible beneath his metal over-skin, a gush of blood came spewing out of Kassom's mouth; dropping to the ground Ilaelis willed open the facial metal and spat the coppery crimson out onto the carpet. That was IT. The demon of metal had tasted enough abuse from these two ruffians -- it was time for a lesson in the meaning of fear. He put his hand onto the wall behind him... and the metal opened wide, swallowing Ilaelis whole. At first it seemed that the feral scout had run away, abandoning Cloud to face these two on his own... "Your mother should have taught you not to play with strays." The voice seemed to come from every direction now, from the very walls of the room itself. That ominous warning was followed up by three metal spikes erupting simultaneously around Yazoo -- not an attack so much as a cage -- and seconds later the ground beneath the silver-haired gunman opened wide, a seven foot hole that took the spikes with it as the metal melted and the carpet caved in. If Yazoo fell through he would find a dark maze of pipes, wires, and conduits ringing the edges of a looooooong drop straight down... this was part of the castle's undercroft, a maintenance passage to be precise. There were plenty of things to grab onto and places to stand, but none of them especially safe... and virtually all of them metal. If he fell, he'd also see Ilaelis hanging upside-down on the underside of the floor, grinning at him from behind a thin mask of steel. And if he evaded the sudden drop... well, the Kinzoku still had a few tricks up his sleeve. (OOC: Optional change of scenery here. If you opt for it it'll let us go one-on-one. Your call.) --------------------------------------------------------------- MELANA She had seen some remarkable and bizarre things in her journeys... but a man doing that... well, needless to say that trick was new to her. At the instant she realized the silver-haired youth had escaped Melana wasn't sure whether to feel disgust at his arrogant, dishonorable methods or scorn at herself for not preventing it. Her wind sabers vanished, becoming nothing more than air, and she slowly approached Cid. "I... I'm sorry. I wasn't very much help." She muttered, looking down. For all her talk and posturing, in the end she hadn't accomplished anything... and after failing him like that she wasn't even sure Cid would want to be around her, much less help her in any way. There had to be something that could be done, surely...

"Just when you thought things couldn't get worse..." OOC: Before this post goes on, I'm lacking some details here. Yazoo...he didn't dodge or say he got hit by he reflected bullets. Otherwise the post wasn't clumsy at all. Pending on how that goes, my post shall go accordingly:
The brief reflection was just a small play in this little sporting event (should it have worked, the rain of bullets would momentarily subside and further distract Yazoo which helps to connect the spikes more, else we move on and still follow the events). Cloud had wasted his chance up at bat, unfortunately. Speeding into his Flash Thrust served to set him up as he couldn't react to Loz's faster speed-up. In a moment, First Tsurugi sliced through air only for his chest to be grabbed. Of course the grabbing motion could hardly register to Cloud. Certainly he was winded, which served to disable a reactions momentarily (more so out of shock than lack of ability, thanks to his SOLDIER skill). This allowed for Loz to effectively slam him into the ground (painful) followed by the quick round house kick (even more painful), and then tossed into his ally/charge.
At which point the SOLDIER and the metallic Kinzoku collided; their new momentum sending them into the walls of the study. Unfortunately for Cloud, the sudden actions and the speed were still on Cloud's mind, serving as a mental distraction. He was much slower on the uptake; getting to his knees after Ilaelis had already taken off. Shaking his head as if to get a better grip on the situation, cerulean orbs glance back and forth in order to check in on the feral scout. Unfortunately it appeared the little guy retreated. That meant Cloud would now be fighting these two opponents on his own.
Added to this (should the bullets be dodged), it would mean some of those bullets would hit a mark; a blond mark at that. Yes, this SOLDIER was damaged but he certainly wasn't out of the fight. Thanks to the ground opening up, it would serve as a new distraction and thus help Cloud to avoid some additional bullets (further added by the sloppy work by his own accord). Now Cloud would have to take care of the other brute present. He stared at the blond as he cracked his neck. This time, the muscle bounded stranger was up for bat, Cloud would be pitching.
"What was that burst of speed just now? I have to approach him but cautiously."
Cloud was no fool and pride didn't hinder his thoughts on the matter. However something else was tugging at his pride. A nagging sensation in the back of his head, these two men reminded him of something. N, someone. A source of darkness which had been haunting Cloud for as long as he could remember. Every move he made seemed to only strengthen the being of darkness, as if he lusted for more of Cloud's hatred. That being was Sephiroth and already Cloud's facial features felt tugged, distorting into a look of anger.
"Who are you and what do you want?"
Taking this moment to get up to his feet, he'd proceed to sprint toward Loz. Cloud's form weaved left to right in order to minimize himself as a target for a head on attack. Should he put on that burst of speed once more, Cloud would try his best to brace for such. In a way, Cloud would need to focus on minimizing damage and learning a strategy otherwise he could wide up out cold.

Beyond the now severely torn-up Study was a hidden room. In this room was a computer terminal of highly complex and advanced design. One part of this terminal was a large monitor screen that allowed Users to view the data they were inputting and retrieving. This monitor was currently turned off.
Regardless, it was suddenly filled with static.
Out of the frame like it were an open window dived the form of Kadaj, reappearing into the natural world from where only he, and possibly Tron, knew. Hands first as if diving into water the teenager's body slipped forward with an upward angle, tucked inward for a quick somersault, and then landed in a bent-knee crouch on the secret lab's floor. Slowly the youth's head would tilt back up to even viewing, his green eyes with with a satisfaction that might make others fearful. The boy in black stood up and turned partially toward the system from which he had emerged, smirking momentarily and then looking down at his closed right hand. Surely Mother would be pleased at this progress. Now he and his brothers just had to-
What was that!? It wasn't the sounds of battle that snapped Kadaj's neck and attention to the exit of the lab. It wasn't the gunfire that caused his face to turn deathly grim as he moved efficiently forward into the blue metal hallway that led to the currently-closed door to Ansem's Study. As he stood now, in front of that door and just barely separated from the conflict within it, it was something else that made Kadaj force himself to put on his confident face again.
The presence he had vaguely felt before. It was here now. It was in there. It was... very familliar.
Kadaj reached his right hand over and pressed it onto the wall, the door release switch which had no reason to be hidden on this side. The wall between him and four combatants on the other side flashed white and then slowly seemed to disassemble itself. Once it was gone Kadaj didn't even bother to step through the threshold. his brothers would know immediately that he was present. They would hear his voice no matter what distracted them. he had but one important message to send.
"It's time to go, brothers."

CID Cid glared at her. He wasn't mad at her. No, most of his negative fury was directed towards the blank screen of the computer right now. He hardly had the energy to direct that anger towards the woman.
"I didun expect you to take responsibility for any of this," he retorted, though trying to diffuse her upset, sounded a bit harsher than he had meant to be. "Dun blame yerself." Really though, the person he should be disgusted with is himself. And he dared call himself a member of the RGRC. He had done so very little to defend this place today. Shoving himself away from the computer, he stumbled over the mess he had made in Merlin's house, reaching a half ruined drawer where the RGRC had kept personal effects.
Cigarettes. It's been a long time since he had one. Unfortunately, he had no lighter. Forced to suck on the cigarette butt, Cid crunched back to the computer, hell bent on inspecting just what the youth had took. A disc? But he had a billion of those lying around. This is going to take awhile...
"Keep watch, will ye, Melana?"
LOZ
Loz wasn't there to greet the charging Cloud. The minute Kadaj's hand had touched the switch, Loz was on the move, heading towards the door that was about to disappear. the back of his neck prickled and he scratched slowly at it, wondering just what was going to happen with the wall. His brother was on the other side. Thanks to the blond warrior, his senses had been heightened to the max. No doubt it was the same for Yazoo.
"We'll have to play next time," Loz grinned malevolently at Cloud, excited by the prospect of setting up a play date with someone so capable of standing up to his roughhousing. Not to mention this strange power he was receiving from the male. It was like indulging the silver haired brother with boundless amounts of candy and praises from mother.
"Do you have it, Brother?" Loz turned his back on the SOLDIER, deeming him unworthy compared to the importance of what Kadaj might have in store for the two.

Yazoo let out a frustrated, yet entertained sigh and leaned his head slightly to the side. "Hmmmh." Loz was as clumsy as ever. A line of twelve shots, that had previously been on course to the back of the metal monstrosity's head, raced by him and blew a single fine bullet hole through the wall at his back. Yes, his rage had been a ruse, for one such as Ilaelis was incapable of upsetting him. Likely, the inferior peasant would've fallen for such a ruse too and his metal armor would've done nothing, had it not been for the blonde warrior smashing them both off course.
But this was battle. The simple fact that Yazoo entertained a mock sense of hurt pride was detail enough in showing how nonchalantly he truly felt amidst the chaos of the fight. The marksman watched in relaxed charm as Ilaelis was swallowed up whole in his sudden overreaction to the events that had transpired against him. An overreaction because any display of genuine emotion was an overreaction in comparison to one who was perpetually aloof.
The hole that opened beneath him just as the spikes surrounded him were certainly invitations to a duel; Yazoo seemed yet unimpressed. Was he truly as blank as his facade? Perhaps. Yet there was nothing else as truthful about him as his apathy. And as much as Yazoo may have wanted to accept the proposal Ilaelis proffered, the gunner of the three had no problem spinning away through a gap between the spikes, with a practical grace following at his heels. His new and enhanced senses fed him much information, but it was impossible to drown out the feeling of one of his brothers.
With indeterminable speed he was across the study and behind the door with Loz. But the look of a coward did not befit him. Rather, the one who had run out of spare time to play checkers, and was simply putting the game off to a later date. A meager wave, and the turn of his shoulders were all he left the combatants in the room behind. His long silver hair settled gently from his smooth turn, and just as Loz he turned his attention from the fight to delight. "Yes. Tell us brother." Yazoo added, a hand on one hip, and the other hanging loosely.

"The wounds of today bread the seeds of revenge for tomorrow." Cloud was decidedly pissed off and it showed. Loz wasn't in the position Cloud approximated as he swerved back and forth. His charge ended with a sliding slash at the spot Loz was last noted. Sliding to a halt, Cloud's lips distorted into a anger.
"Quit fooling around!"
The tone in Cloud's voice was serious but stoic. It had raised a bit in decibels but not by much. After all, there was no time for games. Now was the time for action. Cloud took off into quite the dash, one at the height of what being a SOLDIER meant. Considering the brother's had turned their backs on him and Kassom it was only best that they showed the brother's the result of their arrogance. The blond seemed to zip by. Not quite as fast as the accelerated movement abilities the brother's were so fond of, but definitely at a quick sprinting speed that surpassed the average Olympic sprinter.
His senses though confused, were recovering a bit thanks to the adrenaline surging across his internal network. He made quick feints, careful to avoid the spikes/pitfall of his partner's trap. It seemed that the only way to continue their Team match was to force their opponent's hands. Moving to make a horizontal slash, First Tsurugi would be slicing through the backside of both Yazoo and Loz. This of course depended on if they maintained their position but that was Cloud's aim.
Neither of them would be having a friendly meet-up with the voice on the other side. Not that easily anyway.

KASSOM "It's time to go, brothers."
"We'll have to play next time. Do you have it, Brother?"
"Yes. Tell us brother."
"Quit fooling around!" Just as Cloud charged the three silver-haired brothers Ilaelis launched himself up and through the hole he'd made in the carpet in much the same style as a trapeze artist landing on a platform post-performance. However, the metal-clad Kinzoku made no immediate aggressive moves; his stance, one hand on hip and the other curled into a fist, displayed anger more-so than battle fury. "Okay, what the heck!?" The demon's raspy metallic-sounding voice was filled with disdain. "You guys started this fight! You threatened, you attacked, and now you expect you can just walk away?! LIKE HECK YOU CAN!!"In a blink a pair of short tapered blades erupted into being from the metal on his forearms as Ilaelis threw his arms back, more for dramatic effect than any real necessity to move them. After that moment, however, the feral rogue became a swift blur of motion, moving forward with such intensity that even the brothers might be surprised by how fast he closed in on them. "FIGHT!" The demon of metal shouted, blades and body lashing out at whichever of the three was closest in a flurry of rapid slashes and kicks, a far cry from Ilaelis' earlier indirect tactics. (OOC: Unnatural Agility + Berserk Equip = Yeah I'm Bloody Freakin' Fast Right Now. Just FYI. )

Kadaj seemed honestly amused by the protests of the two combatants. Had they not the intelligence necessary to appreciate that he was actually sparing their lives? Loz and Yazoo must have been playing around enough to let them think there was actually a chance, he supposed. Believing that anyone out there could be a true opponent for Mother's chosen ones was not an option, of course.
With both moving at great speed Cloud and Ilaelis both easily made it to their back-turned opponents and landed heavy blows... or at least they would have, had those blows not passed right through the bodies of their targets as if the silver-haired youths had been mere ghosts all along. The very air around the reunited trio began to blur and ripple with a ghostly aura, in fact, as the bodies within became distorted like a TV or computer monitor with an image bug. The men within seemed to pay it as little mind as they were paying their attackers now. Outside in the hall and on the walkway to the Bailey the brothers' remaining two vehicles both experienced a similar phenomenon at the same time.
"Of course," Kadaj said to his attentive siblings with clear satisfaction even amidst the distortion of his face. "I have the key to finding exactly what Mother needs right now."
Those words were the last that the SOLDIER and the demon would bear witness two regarding the starngers' intentions as the auras around the brothers slowly but surely became taller and thinner, gradually erasing even their visible presence as it had their physical until each one would vanish altogether, gone from the world of Radiant Garden. Their mission was complete for now... but those who had insulted Mother such as this furry fool would not be forgotten... nor would the one who seemed to impact Loz and Yazoo the most.
Just before they fully vanished Kadaj's green eyes would swerve to lock onto Cloud's blue orbs, their expression changing from calm and satisfied to intense and excited though no face remained to complete the expression. During that contact, the briefest of seconds, Cloud would hear a strange static sound ripping through in his mind and then cut off completely once Kadaj was fully gone.
Whatever had happened, it would be safe to assume that this world had not seen the last of the brothers.
[Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo Exit]
