"A New Beginning..." He'd been here before, back when this town, this world...was dubbed Hallow Bastion. With help from Tron, they got a chance to glimpse the world as it once was; Radiant Garden. Since then things were steadily changing, but Sora wouldn't be there to see it. He had his own world to get back to, a world where he had plenty of homework! Those were the days, oh those short lived days. Moments in time that were taken from him. There was no explanation for the mysterious forces that connected the worlds. As far as Sora was concerned, he was looking for an excuse as to why he didn't finish his math homework...
Yet here he was, wandering around Radiant Garden. Talk about a great excuse? "No ma'am, I couldn't complete my homework...I was...saving the world?"
...
Even Sora knew that excuse wasn't exactly going to "cut" it.
"How in the world did I get back here...?"
Clearly the boy had lost control over his travel plans. A beacon of light kept summoning him to worlds. Was it possible that the gang from Radiant Garden needed his help? Looking around frantically, Sora soon called out for the crew.
"Leon, Yuffie, Cid, Aerith, Merlin...!"
He sighed in defeat when no response came to him. The Hero of the Keyblade was confused and with good reason. Thus he began to explore, after all...nobody stays in one place (the smart thing to do), when lost! Who knew where his adventures were going to lead him, all that counted was that he wasn't alone!

"Hey! You looking for the bosses, bud?" asked a young man who looked roughly Sora's age, albeit taller with long legs. He was dashing across the marketplace carrying to large burlap sacks filled to the brim with what looked like nuts and bolts. Definitely heavy. The red headband-wearing youth started jogging in place as he heard the names of the RGRC's founding members sounded off by some spiky-haired stranger. "I think I saw Cid out by the Gummi Ship docks."
Well, he may have had a lot to do, and his arms may have felt like falling off, but Guy tried to be helpful when he could. What else was a hero-in-training to do? Besides, he'd been doing this all day. Maybe his arm muscles weren't quite as hyper-advanced as his leg ones from 16 straight years of physical and supernatural conditioning, but what was a few more seconds of effort?
'Worth it. That's what,' he thought, reciting one of his pre-prepared "Hero Lines". 'I really need to find a chance to use these out loud some day.'

"Encounters came in innovative ways...?" Sora gave this...young man, this...teen; a strange look. Not that he wanted to be rude, no far from it. Rather, the usual quick look over had thrown a lot of curve balls his way. Let's talk about introductions, they make a significant impact upon those whom you introduce yourself to. First impressions ladies and gentleman, this one was quite the feat.
"Are you okay, you look like you could use some help?"
The curious, perhaps perplexed, neigh; PUZZLED expression left as quickly as it came. Replaced by a confident smirk, one befitting a hero. A REAL hero, which Sora even extended out his hand. Yes, Sora was here to assist, after all the mysterious light clearly had a plan for him. In no way was this plan guided by a certain voice in the back of Sora's mind. His actions were guided by his heart, one which sought to open up to this stranger. Despite the er...predicament he was in, Sora wanted to get to know this guy, help him out.
As a bonus, this young man also knew where a member of the Restoration Committee was. Sora took mental note of that, etched to the forefront of his cerebral. He'd need to quickly ask more about Cid and how he came upon this knowledge. In fact, he would surely ask after the young man's response...if there wasn't a giant barrel falling from the sky. Yes, the shadow of a falling object soon consumed the keyblade wielder's own shadow, yet Sora was nigh aware of it. He just kept up that confident hero expression, complete with trademark grin. Sora was definitely a star, yep...totally!

Hey, this guy was solid. What do heroes get for their efforts? They get to have people in their hearts, that's what! What could enrich the life of a person more than that? What Guy saw in Sora's response was a heart seeking to add another to its chain. Now that was good! That was the way to live! Definitely a boy with a good head on his shoulders. A nice, healthy, uncrushed head. Yep. That was definitely what it was.
"Thanks for the offer, partner, but I'm on my last trip for the steel workers today. Nothing's going to slow me down now so you may as well find Mr. Highwind before he shuffles off to yell at another working group for slacking off again," Guy answered with a laugh at the end, tilting his head slightly back as he did so. Upon opening his emerald eyes after his little chuckle however a rather daunting image came into view. One that threatened the very uncrushed nature of his new acquaintances's head. Why, that was one of its best qualities! No way a hero could allow such an inevitable horror to pass! Time to change destiny! Time to be a hero!
'Time to stop with the narrating!'
With literally no time to lose(After losing SOME time to his lack of mental-to-physical transition speed) Guy released both of his sacks and suddenly flashe dup into the air above Sora in a flaying leap that barely took any leg movement at all. The tiniest of unbending acts was enough for Guy's knees to generate the power to fly... well, a few feet up anyway. But that was all he needed to meet the descending offender! In an act of graceful perfection Guy's right leg rose up and became perfectly straight as it knocked seemingly lightly into the side of the barrel falling down at Sora. This gentle tap, however, instantly canceled the downward momentum of the object and sent it flying over the edge of the marketplace wall, down the cliff.
"Aha!" guy said triumphantly as he landed behind Sora, crouching for dramatic effect. "No accidents will occur in the city while I'm around to stop theoh man oh man did I just send that thing down toward the residential district!?"
He had, of course.
"Ah, see you later bud! Gotta barrel to catch! Have fun with Cid!" he mutter at insane speed befor zipping over the top of the wall his prey had disappeared beyond. No way he could catch it with them them both falling. He'd just have to run down the wall to catch up.
And so Guy departed the market, leaving two bags spewing countless buts and bolts all over the stone floor in his wake. Those wouldn't be fun to pick up.

"Encounters tend to spawn more encounters..." Guy's response felt similar somehow, it reminded him of -- "Tidus.". He couldn't help but move his arms behind his head. A soft laugh was let out as Guy laughed as well. Clearly Sora was oblivious to this falling barrel. More importantly, perhaps both would-be heroes were oblivious to the presence of another. Perched ontop of this barrel was a mysterious young lady. An orange book was held within her left hand, held by the binding.
Perhaps Young Guy's mental narration, as well as slower translation to physical action, was enough time for Oriana to flip a page from her book.
"Encounters tend to confuse those who don't expect them..."
Guy quickly took to the sky, it was as if he could fly...which was impossible. His leap to the air was dully noted by Oriana whom flashed him a confused look before hopping off. It was within that slow motion exchange, one that felt like it took forever, yet happened in an instant...that the observer took note of the boy's prowress. Thus when Guy landed to the ground, Oriana landed some distance away from Sora, yet to the opposite side.
A picture moment.
Changing gears now, Sora looked confused for a moment. "How did that barrel...how did he react so quickly..." Sora mused but that didn't mean he missed the exchange above. He looked to the stranger, then turned to Guy. Of course, Guy was talking about his feats, which he soon realized was a grave error. He didn't prevent an accident per say, instead he escalated the level of threat. Thus he zipped off before Sora could even remind him about the bags he left behind.
"What now...? Cid probably needs those bags, I guess I should get them to--"
Sora had turned around, ready to confront the stranger, whom had picked up the bags in question.
"The Restoration Committee needs all the capable hands it can get. I'll take care of these, you should go see him."
The air of finality in her voice was one Sora couldn't argue with. Instead he nodded, then turned on his heel to run to where he hoped Cid was. Now then, about the stranger whom was left behind, with two bags of nuts and bolts...

"Quite a state of disarray those young men have created," said a strongly accented voice. The accent was more greatly influenced by the inhuman vocal chords that generated it than the speaker's background, however. Clad in unkempt garb and a large cape-like cloak stood a short human-shaped frog, his right hand rubbing his head. The incident before him had been shown plain as day. As a knight it was his duty to help, and so an impossibly long and sticky tongue had been deployed to catch the falling object. From his vantage point the girl riding the object had also been plain to see, so a quick reaction to ensure her safety would have been necessary as well, should she have ever looked remotely in danger. Luckily another defender of life was closer to the scene and the amphibian's extension could be recalled prematurely."But I wonder how such a thing could have occurred at all?"
After his last lien the stranger looked up from the many pieces of metal still spilled all over the square and directly at the girl whom had taken the now only quarter-full pouches upon herself. His gaze was not condemning, though it did seem to observe her with an open mind. Whatever was said in subtext the "man" spoke only with politeness in his tone.
"'Tis an unusual place to perch for enjoying a good book, young lady. Might I inquire as to how you came upon such a series of events?"
A sheathed sword of great power lay at the knighted one's waist. His hands made no move to be near it at all, yet somehow its presence was amplified, as if it was ready to defend its master at the slightest chance danger may appear here.

"Encounters tend to be random (in RPG's)" Oriana was much more aware than Sora and his companion. Despite her perched position, she too had good access to view the surroundings. Having taken into account the stranger, seeing the premature action pass, he was no longer considered a threat. The new threat, albeit unintentional was of course from Guy. His swift kick could have injured her, yet quick action had allowed for her to evade. Thus she was supposedly left alone with the bags, well in Sora's mind perhaps.
Now was the time for a new 'stranger' to come forth. A new challenger was approaching Oriana, to which she turned to face them. She portrayed a look of uncertainty, one which was foreign to her usual features. The more she observed humans, the more human she became. Yet the person she was looking at was not human at all.
"It's not a coincidence, though it did occur due to human error..."
Oriana had answered the frog's musings prior to his formal approach. Well, at least provided the basis for an answer. The frog would require more detail than that, to which Oriana could recall them with ease.
"The barrel was perched atop a wooden plank. This plank was elevated in the same manor as a see-saw. A man garbed in a black cloak ran past my position, followed by an older man garbed in black, but not of the same attire. He leaped in order to catch the cloaked stranger, only to fall atop the elevated plank. This launched the barrel, as well as myself into the air."
Was it an unlikely story? Not when one considered the work that needed to be done in these parts. However what was that about a cloaked stranger? Oriana did not pursue that train of thought for she was engrossed in her reading. This book contained her research notes, valuable information which would help her people to better understand the users.
Unfortunately the amount of foreigners to Radiant Garden had peaked the program's coding. Were they a threat to her world? If so, she'd have to investigate them more seriously.
"You're...not from this world, where do you hail from?"
Despite how hostile that may have sounded, the innocence in her voice would no doubt perplex any man whom was not expecting it. The look in her eyes, perhaps added to this unusual nature.

The Frog seemed to try and "Hmph" in amusement at the girl's retelling of events as it turned its head down and closed its eyes while smiling. The noise, however, was but a low-toned croak and the true interpretation would have to be up to the observers. She may have reported the truth or she may not have. regardless, her own special nature was more interesting than the course off ate that revealed it. Glenn would not bring himself to question a young lady so boldly however, so his true curiosity would remain unspoken for. A shame, really, but with what wonders existed beyond his home's borders the knight could not waste time musing too long on every event that defied the ordinary as he knew it.
"You seem to be quite sure of yourself," he answered, though without any intent of confrontation. "Though you are indeed correct. This place does seem to be more... aware of the existence of other worlds than any of the others I have visited. Do you hail from this land yourself?"
As Glenn asked this he approached closely to the girl, holding out one of his hands as an offering to take one of her burdens.

"A moment of silence." Her explanations were rather quick, though not blunt; they were certainly direct. As she spoke, her hands busied themselves with the various nuts and bults. She was in fact collecting the strays, filling the bags carefully. Once all of them were gathered, she would pause for a moment. It's not like the frog asked an unusual question. Nor was his statements too aggressive, yet her eyes reflected...a sense of loss.
She blinked a few times, raising up the bags in each hand. His friendly offer to take one of the bags from her was noted. Thus she was about to offer one bag to him, that is...if someone else hadn't snatched it from out of her hand.
Enter The White Knight!
An armoured clad hero charged through the marketplace. They appeared to be perched atop a noble steed. It too was clad in the finest armour, completely fitting a knight of extreme wealth and standing! Reaching out with it's right hand, it would easily snatch the bag of nuts and bolts, proceeding to leap over the wall top and down below, heading off in a similar direction to that of Guy and the barrel from earlier.
"I must retrieve that item for the Restoration Committee, please excuse me." was the result of Oriana's speech to the stranger. This mission had a fair bit of priority, instead of engaging a suspect. At least for the moment, perhaps it was because the frog knight displayed no real hostility. Whatever the case, something needed to be retrieved and Oriana was on the case.
The unusual state of events would no doubt leave the Market Place barren. Well, that was assuming the frog would give chase behind the girl. In the meanwhile, the Dark Corridor would open up a safe distance behind the Frog. Emerging from this pool of darkness was a cloaked stranger. Funny, where was this cloaked strange mentioned before? Regardless, they said nothing. Simply looking to be fairly complacent. No doubt they were out of danger for now.
"This mission has...gone astray. I didn't expect to be detected by my enemy so soon."

Sir Glenn had but moments to make a decision regarding the theft of the bag. he had seen for himself there was nothing special about them or hidden in the sacks buried beneath the items. They were just a bunch of steel bindings, useless on their own. Was one dishonouring the mantle of a white knight and committing acts of small terrorism upon the world's hopeful reconstruction efforts? Giving chase alongside the girl seemed like the appropriate thing to do.
Yet he hesitated, and stayed his hand over the Masamune's hilt. While not exactly chivalrous to leave the danger to the young girl(The wall she and the horse-mounted one ahd just leaped over went into a several story fall all the way down a cliff face toward the residential district below, after all, she had already proven herself capable. That and Frog's own past adventures had taught him to properly see women as equal partners even on the field of battle and danger while still respecting his duty to protect them. For now perhaps his time was better spent elsewhere.
'If what she said was true, then the men in black may be allied with the mounted one just now. Could there be people out to undo the efforts of these noble, hard-working souls?'
The knighted amphibian stroked the green flesh of his chin, thinking of whether he should postpone his own search of information just to make sure there were no nefarious acts going on in town. It was a difficult decision to make and he had yet not noticed any new appearance behind him. Instead he knelt down and began to gather up what metal pieces remained scattered here.

"Caution lead to the prevention of encounters..." Taking a moment to assess the situation at hand, it was clear that his initial impressions were inaccurate. He wasn't out of the woods just yet, for the frog warrior had remained. It certainly didn't seem like a chivalrous act, allowing the girl to go after the knight on her own. Unfortunately, this ruined his plans at manipulating the situation. His task was to observe the acts of the Restoration Committee and test their defences.
He even found an unlikely ally or rather, manipulated an unlikely ally. Portraying the girl he saw from earlier as a villain was critical to his plans. This would ensure that any off-worlders whom meddled, would go after her instead. The cloaked stranger had caused quite a commotion thus far, whilst mostly remaining in the shadows. It was fortunate that he was able to lose his pursuer in the process. The blonde was...persistent, to say the least. It wasn't time for him to truly take action against the SOLDIER either. He needed more data, data that he could only acquire by staying low.
Right now he'd need to apply that principal. Cautiously moving to take cover behind a crate, he could then spy on the frog from afar. His senses were heading into red alert, keen on staying out of sight from locals. Unfortunately the marketplace didn't make for the most stealthy location. In fact, it was quite easy to detect the garbed individual here. A gloved hand moved within the dark depths of the hood. In actuality, it was simply to press the palm against the forehead.
"Now, what shall be my next move...?"
Stealth missions were normally no problem for this enigma, he'd been trained to do them. Yet the new elements of 'magic' and 'abilities' were catching the man off guard. For now he was just an ally, yet he had responsibilities to those whom he allied with. A vision of Xaldin had flashed through his head at the thought.
"I must not let the Organization down, there is still more they can help me with..."

"Well now, aren't we something special?"
This was different. Different from what, one might ask? Different from anything Mitch might have ever experienced before, for one thing. This was not stealth. This was not the corridors of darkness used by the Agent and his new allies. This was not even teleportation or superhuman speed, two possibilities in the insane limits of potential the universe offered up to its inhabitants. No, this was not any of these things.
This was different.
"It seems that you do not wish to be noticed by the freak," came the young yet unmistakably cruel voice again. It was hushed severely so that only the Nobody could hear. They were, after all, mere centimeters apart. The new silver-haired man had seemingly popping straight into existence right there without any prior warning on any level. That... was different. "Perhaps I can be of assistance, if you are willing to return the favour?"
Whoever the stranger was he made no effort to hide his menacing intentions. Those green eyes even seemed to suggest to anyone looking into them that refusal was a foolish and lethal choice. Still, the two-bladed sword in the teenager's grip stayed on his left, the side opposite of Mitch as they two cowered as best they could behind some obstruction, each one's body facing the opposite direction of the other.
"He won't be distracted by those for long. You may want to simply agree. My fee can always wait until later."
He smiled.
It was unpleasant.

"Encounters lead to unlikely allies..." His appearance was sudden, yet Mitch was already on Red Alert. Thus he did well to mask any surprise he had, his hood serving to aid in this event. Mr. Gavin proceeded to observe the frog whilst listening to the stranger's proposal. It was easy to detect the cruelty in his voice. The stranger's intentions were...not the best, that was for sure. While he had not experienced such an unusual...appearance or technique; he had experienced men of his...persona.
Thus his body did not twist nor turn, his gaze still focused. "I trust we'll have time to negotiate your 'fees' in private. For now, we must evade sight. Your terms at the moment seem reasonable..."
Mitch's voice trailed off, yet now for the first time he had turned his 'gaze' to look to this teen. He was cocky, this much he observed, yet so too was the Secret Agent. An unusual partnership had just formed, how would this benefit Mr. Gavin? Did this teen know anything about The Organization? Best to not disclose such details unless necessary.
"I seek answers, there is a man here whom has...killed me. A SOLDIER, if you will. His weapon was that of a Nodachi class Katana...How familiar are you with this territory?"
He kept his voice down to that of a whisper. Best not to have additional ears overhear their dark conversation. Once he stated his business, he'd once more take up his previous position. He had to observe the Frog as much as possible. Twas true he would not be distracted by his actions forever. Unfortunately, it would have been better if he decided to play Hero instead of remain in the market place.
Perhaps Mitch could...fix this dilemma?

"I've never tried one myself," Kadaj answered, emphasizing the presence of his own unique blade as he did so. "Maybe I can keep an eye out for you, if your first payment is acceptable."
With this line Kadaj turned his head entirely to face Mitch's gaze as well. The two looked into each others eyes for but a moment. For the Secret Agent, however, the moment lasted an eternity. He was taken away by the sight, into a deep memory. He could not see the killer any clearer than he had, only the weapon which had done him in. Still, one thing became as clear as crystal. Those eyes looking down at him... the eyes of his assassin.
"The city has such strange creatures cleaning up its messes," came the loud, taunting voice of the teenager, shattering the Nobody's altered mental state. Had the boy done it on purpose? Impossible to tell. All of Mitch's training would tell him that Kadaj's casual comment about never using a nodachi seemed entirely true at face value. Now the boy had move don into the realm beyond Mitch's current reach: the open.
The frog knight responded, predictably questioning if Kadaj was one of two men in black responsible for the falling hazard just now due to his dark bodysuit. Kadaj did not answer truly, but merely taunted the fellow swordsman while drawing his attention to the other side of the area. For now the agent's cover would seem safe. This was apparently what Kadaj was offering in exchange for payment at a later date.
'Play whatever games you want for now, but I will return for you some day... brother.'
With this malicious thought Kadaj drew his own sword into full view, promptly Glenn to do the same. he ran and the knight gave chase, the two disappearing off towards another side of the upper wall's districts.
Mitch had met Kadaj for about as little a time was possible for such things... yet it was a meeting the Nobody would have to carry with him now, until his matters were settled.

"It only took a moment for Allies to become...enemies." It was but a harmless gaze, a confirmation between two businessmen. The sign that they were ready to ink a deal. Such were the actions known to a trained agent. However when their eyes met, despite the shadow of his hood; Kadaj would be able to see Mr. Gavin's eyes quite well. It was easy for him to see the Bloodlust at that point, a side that the composed agent rarely showed. It was sparked by seeing the eyes of an assassin, eyes that...while hazy in his memory, were crystal clear at current.
His own hand moved instinctively to where his heart had been. His lips curling to a frown, no sooner was his hood adjusted. The darkness which masked his face prior, took over and did it's job effectively. Before any killer intent could be done, the altered state was shattered. The words mentioned, at first glance related directly to the frog wandering the market place.
Yet as a Secret Agent, Mitch easily looked past it. The words etched into the forefront of his mind. The teen knew something about his past. Knew something about his memories and he'd seek answers from him. Whatever payment he was looking for, he'd best hope to be alive to receive it. To be placed on the Hit list of a Secret Agent was not a good idea. He best be aware, The Organization had no time to play games, neither did he.
Still, given the 'aid' that he received, he was in debt to the silver haired teen. Thus the Dark Corridor was opened, he had enough information for now. It was best that he RTCed, though he still had one final act to perform before he did. He needed to see him, just once more before he went.
---------------------------
Running up the stairs towards the top of the Market, the SOLDIER looked around as best he could. Surely his senses weren't wrong, he could feel Sephiroth close by...that is, he felt the remnants of his dark half. It was strange, this shouldn't have been possible. More importantly, his own heart kept leading him to follow something, something that he couldn't quite place. He noticed it when he first spotted the cloaked individual. Yet Nobodies didn't have hearts, surely?
It laid the question "Was it really a Nobody, not even the Organization would be so bold...". Alas, the blonde had more questions than he had answers. He leaned back against a wall and began to contemplate his next move. It may have been best to meet up with Leon to discuss the matter further. Yet knowing the RGRC's leader; he was probably organizing clean up efforts around town.
"So, what now...?"
