A burst of sound blasted out of the cave, hitting Magus head on and inadvertently protecting the others nearby. Magus, however, took the full force of the blast and flew backwards into the snow, which collapsed underneath him, sliding him helplessly off the mountain before he could respond.

((Note: He's NOT dead, just knocked out of the battle.))

[Homac]

"Magus!"

Thomas shouted his companion's name as he fell off the mountain. However, he was too late to do anything to help him.

Growling under his breath, he turned to his other companions. "We need to take this thing out fast, and go look for Magus. Let's go!"

With that, he drew Nanashi with a practiced flourish, and moved cautiously towards the cave. No use getting knocked off as well.

Stitch found himself landing in the faded slush of cold, harsh snow in the stead of Magus' shoulder.

Speaking of the shadowmage, there he goes down the mountain!

Stitch's eyes widened as his mouth gaped. "Magus!"

Mora, who had barely nodded at the guy, first and immediately acknowledged from her military get-go of a mindset that a very powerful ally had just been lost.

Second, Gravira.

Multiple curses ran through the mind under the orange mop of hair as Mora realized she could've gotten the guy back up here.

Now thoroughly annoyed, Mora Vadnais gripped her fists.

Okay. Mistakes. Been there, done that. Playing it smart now.

So, as Aly jumped to her worried feet only to be stopped from going after Magus by Cwen, Mora looked up at the offending cave.

Big Heartless baddie, huh?

Mora looked sideways at the other guy. Started with a T.

"You-- guy! What the heck is up there?"

((Of course, Rocket! Just like everyone else, EVERY UPGRADE AND UPDATE is allowed onto the character in the threads.

Simply because these guys are SUPPOSED to be powerful enough that you'll need all the help you can get. Now, because of Homac's trouble, he's getting knocked out as well. If he gets OUT of trouble before the plot is finished, he can come back in depending on the circumstances.))

CRACK!

The loud sound destroyed any possibility that Thomas or Mora could've heard each other. That, and the ground underneath Thomas.

In a flash, a gaping chasm opened up, dropping Thomas into the darkness. There was no sound of any type of landing at all. The hole was filled with the same fog-like shadow that crowded the cave entrance. They were dropping like flies.
