This Temple sits in the very middle of the prairie of the Pride Lands. It, remarkably, is actually a giant tree with tunnels and rooms carved out of the living wood. The entryway to the Temple proper is in an arch between two of the large roots sinking deep into the ground. Large leaves will sometimes fall from the tree's branches, which are believed to be far too high for creatures to fly to.
Above the root-doorway, a large symbol is carved into the bark deeply, revealed against the dark bark with the white inner wood. It's the symbol of a closed eye. Inside the Temple, the monks live, sometimes carving out new rooms or tending to the tree.
((Note: The magic of the Pride Lands is cancelled within the boundaries of the Temple))

The queen of the Pride Lands had heard rumors about some kind of huge tree in the middle of the prairie of her land. She had never seen or heard of it before, but here she was standing in front of it. Her ocean blue eyes staring at the what seemed to be an eye. An arch formed a sort of doorway. Why had this tree suddenly appeared? She was here to find out. She would of sent Simba but he was out doing errands. More like adventuring around through the worlds while Nala was stuck here taking care of the land and the creatures in it. It was in her duty to see if the rumors were true.
It seemed they were.
Now it was in her duty to see why it was here, where exactly it had come from.
Drawing back the courage she needed to enter the cream colored lioness extended a paw forward, stepping into the arch way that formed a door. This doorway seemed much like the monkey's door into his tree where he lived. She raised her head high, not like any other lioness but as the Queen. Her tail twitched behind her as her body made its way into the tree. One paw after the other. One step at a time. She must not ascend too fast, she must be cautious anything could be lurking. Whether it be dangerous or helpful, or something in between.

A monk was walking down a cross-tunnel connected to the main tunnel that the lioness had entered. He walked out of the tunnel and bowed deeply, body in a nonthreatening position. He straightened up, his brown robes obscuring most of his body. He was bald. He spoke softly. "Greetings. I welcome you to the Temple of the Seal. Be aware that there is no violence permitted within these walls. Please tell me, how can I be of service to you?"

Nala was suddenly brought back at what appeared to be a weird hairless monkey. A-and was wearing some kind of cloth. And...it bowed to her. She stepped back some, being cautious. All of that time though her head was held high.
Greetings. I welcome you to the Temple of the Seal. Be aware that there is no violence permitted within these walls. Please tell me, how can I be of service to you?
Temple? So this place was a temple? A tree made into a temple? W-what was inside of the temple? The weird monkey thing had spoken to her, but every creature here she could understand. No violence? She wasn't much of one for violence, accept for when she went hunting. And when she protected her pride. Both prides.
"W-what is this place?" She asked, her voice faltered some at first but went strong after wards. She had only been caught off guard, of which would never happened again. To her her words could be heard, but to the monk they would of just been meows and cat noises.

Strangely enough, the monk seemed to understand precisely what had been said. The Temples specialized in honing different senses to unknown levels (See Agrabah thread), but they did not ignore the other senses. "This is the Temple of the Seal." The monk answered her question. He watched her curiously. "Tell me, you have never seen one of my kind, have you?" How peculiar. He thought to himself.

She forgot that answer had already been answered when the hairless monkey guy had introduced himself and welcomed her to the Temple of the Seal. The thing, lack for a better word, spoke to her again asking her if she had ever seen any of his kind. She remained where she was, deciding to sit down on her hind legs. Her sky blue eyes stared at the hairless beast. "No. I have never seen anything like you, your like a hairless monkey.." She said to him.

"The correct term would be humans, miss." The monk replied politely. "Most likely the reason you have never seen one of us is that you have never left your world. The species is quite scattered across many worlds, but this world changes most of those that land here into other species that would be more common on this world."

Humans? She had never heard of the likes of them before. So they were scattered across the worlds? Simba had said that he went to other worlds, had he encountered these humans? Surely he had? So now that the introductions had been accomplished it was in Nala's best interest for herself and for her Pride to know why this Temple was here.
"Might I ask why this Temple is here? How it simply 'appeared' here." She stood up on all four and looked at the human. She wanted answers.

"This Temple was originally built on this world, in this very spot." The monk looked around. "I suppose built isn't precisely the best word for it, actually. Anyways, due to circumstances, a great magic was worked that removed the Temple and its occupants from... well, I suppose it'll make sense more if I say that it was removed from this reality. It doesn't properly belong in this reality anymore, but we have reappeared here temporarily. You may have felt the slight distortion in reality when you entered the area the Temple now occupies, or you may not have." He shrugged.

"So its been here all along? But we've, I, have never been able to see it or sense it..." She said to him, making sure she understood him right. "Temporarily?" She questioned the monk, who in her mind was still a hairless monkey even though he had identified himself as a human.
"So now that we've, I, have established what this place is...." She said to him, moving towards him some.
She looked down the tunnel, examining it. It was just darkness. She walked around the monk, not quite going deeper. Her tail flicked and moved behind her. She was up to something. "What's inside?" She asked, moving closer to the monk. The side of her body moving against his robe, rubbing against him. A lioness on the prawl. She was behind him now and her head appeared from behind him to look up at the monk. "Hmmm?" She purred.
She was sure that there was some thing inside.

"More of us." The monk replied politely, seemingly not worried at all by the lioness. "More tunnels, and rooms, though there are some nice views from windows. And yes... temporarily. I predict we will not be here more than a month if all goes well. I would be honored to show you around if you wish, for I am currently free." He waited for a response.

So the temple didn't hold anything of real value, or was the human just hiding that fact from the Queen of the Pride Lands. She moved some more around him, now in front of him. She remained standing on all fours. Why were they here only a month? "So, there's nothing of real value here?" She asked him. Her questions were more getting so towards interrogation of the poor monk. She wanted to know everything about this place.
"A tour would be lovely." She said to him, that way she could have a look around and ask questions at the same time. She looked towards the tunnel and then raised her paw towards it motioning him to lead. "Show me the wonders of this place."

"It depends on how you define value, I suppose." The monk replied. "I believe our sister Temple in the Deep Jungle has a large diamond on its roof; that would be valuable to many people, but it isn't so much to us. I would have to know what you find valuable before I could answer that question. Now, if you'll follow me..." The monk turned, gestured, and walked down the main tunnel. He had an idea as to where to take the lioness first.

Nala wasn't sure what she would consider to be valuable in this place. She would have to have a look around first. Maybe valuable wasn't the right word. A treasure perhaps? Something that the human's here cherish? That is in the center of this temple. What the monk's look after. "Right..." She said, stepping forward. Following the monk. "Is..this temple protecting something that could be of 'value' to you or anyone else in this place? Perhaps...something that is being guarded..protect from evil?" She asked, musing her thoughts and questions to the monk. She wasn't sure at first how to put it, but she might of gotten to her point.

A man stood out of the temple, crossing his arms and staring out to the strange temple. Wearing a crimson and black suit, the masked marvel grinned beneath his mask and approached the strange structure. Each step was silent, walking up toward the entrance and slipping through the open crack that the lioness had left open. Hiding behind pillars with sheer subtlty, he looked over to the two beings and watched them walk along. The lioness would have no trouble picking him up probably, but even then...He was a hard one to find.
And if danger had come his way, he had plenty of doo-dads to get him out of a sticky situation. Swiftly, he hugged walls and structures that would hide his appearance. He was here on business for his faction, not for his own needs. Though that kitty was pretty cute, he felt like smothering it in beautiful cuddles. But he resisted and only followed jsut as he was told to. So he gathered information from this visitor to the strange monk, he looked like he needed a good 'ol bath to be honest.
