The lionesses stared down Kassom, growls growing in their throats as they grew closer. They hadn't seen any 'new' people for awhile, and frankly he was not a lion. What was he doing here at Pride Rock? One lioness stood out among the pack of lionesses and stepped forward, 'Passing through, eh?' She asked, stalking around the lynx 'Gatherin' your bearings?' She echoed his words. She stopped in front of him. Normally, the lionesses of pride rock would be very kind, but these days with the darkness settling upon the Pride Lands, the lionesses had hardened a little. 'Who might you be, stranger?' She asked, quite nastily.

Back, down in the grasses of the Pride Lands, Elsa watched as the small meerkat came to.
Sorry about that, I guess just seeing you two scared me there. Um... I've seem to have gotten lost so uh... do you two know where I am?
"It's okay!" Elsa said rather happily, she was glad the meerkat was okay, even if she had noticed that he might be pretending to be dead. She..was bigger than him after all. "You're at Pride Rock, silly." She said to him, neither of these two seemed to know where they were. She should invite them back to Pride Rock! Everyone could use the company, lessen the tension that had gathered around them. She couldn't help but be excited. She had just met two new acquantances. Even if she only knew Thomas's name. "Oh, and I'm Elsa by the way." She said to them.

Thomas waited politely as Elsa talked with the small animal. As she finished, he joined the conversation quietly.
"And I'm Thomas. It's nice to meet you. I don't believe we know your name though. Nonetheless, we should probably help each other. I don't remember anything, you're lost, and Elsa knows this place. It'd be good for us if she helped."
Then, he turned to Elsa, "Well? Please?"

Marcus... And yes I think that would nice. The tension did seem to lessen a little bit. But Marcus's animal instincts were telling him otherwise.
