"Oh, but I did, Roxas," Marluxia smiled, "I brought him here as a war hound," The vine around Sora's throat tightened and pulled him back, dragging the keyblade wielder back to where Marluxia stood across the marble floor.
With a sweep of his hands, from behind the Graceful Assassin appeared nine flower buds floating in mid-air, pointing threateningly at the members gathered, in particular Xaldin and Xigbar. This was no friendly announcement, this was an ultimatum that bordered on a war decree.
"Do not be mistaken. I am not like Xemnas, I am not a melodramatic fool and I am not as forgiving. My friends, together we are stronger than the sum of our parts," Marluxia's words resounded heavily in the hall, "Failure is not an option, we will work together and we will succeed together,"
"Any who cannot accept that...please step forward now,"

"Perhaps it was Fate...perhaps it was Destiny." It was almost like a knee-jerk action. Sora had kicked into fighter mode, driven by instincts and a desire to protect. In this case, protect himself cause he was at a huge disadvantage here. Thus the explosion equip was activated and it resulted in Xaldin's...injuries. Four explosive Orbs and a shot of Thunder? Added that he was sent sprawling across the ballroom? Yeah...one less threat for our hero. Which meant that he now needed to free himself from Marluxia's clutches. Now he could look towards his other half, his own Nobody.
He looked into Roxas' eyes, it was easy to see himself now that he remebered. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to feel about his other half. He'd been taught of their existence prior (Nobodies). He wasn't really human, he wasn't really there. Any emotions he portrayed were fake and yet...how could you vanquish yourself? This would be explained, courtesy of Roxas. This also sparked a secondary thought. Roxas wasn't really human...alone. However when he was with Sora, then he was complete. He was real, existing through him and vice versa. He remembered the promise he made.
"As long as he stays with Kairi, they'd be able to see each other again." Sora could only nod as he spoke and he was finally following the flow of things until Roxas mentioned Namine(curses I wish I could do the accent on the e). At that point Sora gave him a sly look, before the vine around his neck was tightened. Then it was pulled, seperating him from his other half.
He would now join Marluxia (unwillingly) where he stood. Of course Sora would shoot a glare at the Neo Superior, but it probably was ignored, for no sooner did Marluxia explain his stance. A proclamaition, nay; a war decree, one that would secure his 'throne'. He challenged anyone to step forward, no doubt they would be taken down by the Leader... or Sora. For more than likely, as he realized now; he'd be forced to take them out simply in his own defense. All the while he was trapped...a war hound. No this didn't sit well with Sora.
"You can't do this, let me go!"
Sora declared, keyblade still in hand. Yet Sora was finding it hard to breath, the leash of vines certainly held him. Thus he couldn't help but look to Roxas, his eyes pleading even.
"Roxas, you're me and I'm you...come back with me, to our friends. You don't need the Organization, remember... you left before--!" alas the grip of the vines around his neck was getting to him a bit.
"...Riku believed...in you...and so do I."
The keyblade was released, Sora's hands moving to grip the vines. He was clearly trying to remove his makeshift leash, but his struggle was for nought.
OOC: Had to do some stealth editing here, after going through the ending of KH2, I realize I was a bit out of character. So I'm tweaking my posts just a bit.

[Wow, I really need to pay more attention to the messages I get, huh?]
"Hope I'm not in too much trouble..."
Demyx muttered this, as he slipped quietly into the back of the crowd, trying not to draw attention to his extreme lateness. Hopefully, he'd be successful, but most likely not.
The Nobody had dressed for the occasion, wearing black slacks, a white long sleeved shirt with a black jacket over it, and a deep blue tie around his neck. He came dressed well, at least.
At the sight of Xaldin's K.O'ed body, he was slightly unnerved.
At the sight of Sora, he was extremely worried, or as close to it as a Nobody could get without a heart.
Maybe staying near the back and watching was the best course of action at the moment.
[Again, major apologies for the slowness.]
