[ CLOSED SPEED RP FTW
SPECTATORS WELCOME ]
"SAIX!"
A blazing, cold fury emanated from behind the Luna Divider's back as Member Four of the Organization drew his weapon from midair, a swash of blurring blue light creasing the invisible precipitation in the air to create a shield of large and fine magnitude.
Training exercise was the name of the assigned mission, to be sure. But if the tight, gloved fists and faint retching of teeth against teeth was anything to consider, the Chilly Academic had no intention of treating this duel as such.
It was only when a glowing blue blade of ice that far surpassed Vexen in dimensions appeared, stretching the far distance from the scientist to Saix to gently rest a spare inch from the opposing Nobody's nose, that the battle seemed to get underway.
Disgust flooded the ice bearer's face.
"Prepare for a reputation of failure," he spat.
Bringing the Frozen Pride up to a defensive position, while keeping the solidified blade out and ready, Vexen stepped back... and waited cautiously for his opponent's first move.
===---===---=== -> Summoned forth secondary weapon Ice Blade -> Begins charging Strong Ability Glacial Torrent -> Brings out Strong Ability Data Collection Field -> It should be noted that Strong Ability Absolute Zero is passive, active, and will remain active unless otherwise noted |--> When within 20 feet of Vexen, (like now, for instance) Saix will operate with half as much Speed and Reaction Time |--> If Saix is still within 20 feet of Vexen in the next five turns, he will be frozen[/i]

(USING THIS THREAD FOR RP DISCOUNT. Details on what that entails, relative to what you find fair, will be included at the end. Btw, you don't waste any time summoning all your abilities xD) How dull.
The Academic's words and mannerisms were all so pathetic. His element of ice was formidable, yet most of the abilities under the command of the chilly scientist were used merely for incapacitation, and not to thoroughly destroy the opponent. Did the scientist honestly think he could defeat the berserker? At best, all he could hope for is a draw. This was such a pointless mission. Even if he were to lose, what would it prove? The object was not to fight to kill, but to train and grow stronger. Yet the scientist treated as though this was a duel to the death, and that his foolish 'pride' was on the line.
Turning around, the Luna Diviner was forced to stifle a yawn. If Saïx was one to pretend as though he had emotions, even at this moment he would only have a bored emotion. "Do not forget the parameters of this mission, IV. It'd be most regretful if I had to kill you for going too far," VII announced simply, extending a hand. Lunatic appeared in it, spikes brandished and aglow with a radiant blue color as it appeared, a glow that seemed to hang upon the blade. Odd, wasn't it? A glowing white moon also appeared from the berserker's vicinity, traveling upwards and out of the way of the fight to shine down upon the combatants. At the same time six dusks appeared 25 feet away from Vexen in a circle that loosely included Saïx.
Golden eyes stared down the scientist as the man decided to activate his abilities, evident by the cold now dominating the area around the scientist. "You had the opportunity to strike, yet you chose to wait. To defend. Have you learned nothing from your execution at the hands of VIII? You must strike quickly and viciously, before the opponent has time to do so to you," the berserker sighed, entering an attacking stance as he spoke.
"All shall be lost to you..."
With that, Saïx split his weapon into two and entered his berserker mode. VII spun the claymore in his left hand until it began hitting the ground, spewing shockwaves in a radius of five feet from the berserker each time it touched the ground. Claymore still aglow and with a mighty roar, the Luna Diviner sprang forward and slashed the glowing blade in his right hand at Vexen from his upper left to lower right.
The duel was on. --- -> Summoned The Hollow Moon and Six Dusks -> Lunatic's Rage active -> Moon's Shadow used, Extra claymore (one in left hand) will disappear at start of next post -> Effect of Eclipse halved -> Hunting Wolf in effect -> Berserk Assault and Berserker's Drive passive -> Lunar Barrage in usage Note: Striving for three RP bonus abilities. Weak speed boost (2x speed). I think .75x speed would be fair factoring in absolute zero and me not having it. 1.5x outside of absolute. Strong Endurance boost (9x). I think 2x or 3x would be fair for this thread. One other ability that requires activation. Will be noted when I plan to use it. If you think they should be augmented for this thread, please tell me. Note2: To save us both some time and effort, I call for, unless I say otherwise, to assume I shall be using the equip guard break any time that it is applicable (cooldowns, usages, you blocking, fact that I need to be using claymore up close and personal, etc.). If not okay, please tell me. Note3: Don't plan on telling you why I'm glowing unless what I want to occur occurs. Bleh xP

[ Alrighty then! Just don't forget that Guard Break only has 6 uses, and a cooldown of three rounds. Starting now. ;D ]Using Berserk at such an early stage was foolish of Saix. That, or overconfident. Berserk made the man senseless, opening him fully to attack from even the simplest of attacks.
For instance... Vexen's blood was pumping at a much higher rate, adrenaline streaming energy into the Chilly Academic's mind and body. His feet light, his mind sharp, he entered the field of battle as he knew best... ...second. Without warning, Vexen's shield left its master's hand and flew forward at a rate unparrallel for an inanimate object of it's size 1, for Saix. It was traveling at over 30 MPH, and in combination with Saix's blind rage and slowed speed due to the harsh nipping of a magical frost that threatened to freeze the currently mindless Nobody if he deigned to remain, it would make for a very painful experience for the charging Luna Divider, and effectively deter his attack. Now, for the necessaries. A cold breeze undertook the room. Wind threatened the loose items, and frost began to latch onto the fringes of many a pointy object. And then it blasted. An eruption of cold 2 shot out from Vexen, quickly followed by a storm of hail as the view grew dim. Within moments, the half of the room closest to IV was taken from the cool weather and given to the nightmarish glacial torrent that now dominated it and poured down on most all occupants of the room 3. In it's wake, no creature of little fate would keep its hold on existence 4. Visibility dwindled at best, limiting the visible range to a measly ten feet. As if in accordance with this, Vexen vanished from sight among the thoroughly darkened room with a surprisingly fast bout of speed 5. But he was very clearly grinning with great pride as he enjoyed the benefits of the storm. The shield sped back away following the lunge to it's master. Now very light on his feet 6, the blond Nobody even allowed himself a small chuckle as he heard a faint beep from an undisclosed location 7. And yet, much remained to be done. ===---===---=== 1Aegis Unleashed, Strong Weapon Ability; telekinesis of Frozen Pride 2Glacial Torrent, Strong Ability, now active; Moderate damage dealt to all in a 50 foot diameter 3Like, say, the big floating moon. 4 The Dusks are C Rank and weak to Magic. The storm deals Moderate damage. You do the math. ;D 5Sonic Thrust Equip; Strong level speeds for 10 feet with no cooldown; 3 uses remain 6Skimming, Weak Ability; double speed, and a few inches off the ground; passive 7Data Collection Field is a whopping 30-ish feet wide, and you've been standing in it for two turns now. :3 Additional note: Saix, having moved for Vexen, yet remains in Absolute Zero's limits. 3 turns remain before being Frozen.

How naive. Did the scientist really think he could escape the berserker's wrath?
The shield was an unexpected complication, VII admitted that. It was clever alright, but wholly ineffective. Even with the scientist's cold aura slowing him down, Saïx had enough time to put one shoulder forward into his now unstoppable charge against the shield. With a blow that could have felled an adult elephant, berserker met shield, and berserker won. The shield skidded off into the darkness where the scientist once stood. The only thing that saved him from a shield to the face was his sudden burst of speed away from the scene of battle.
Then Saïx was alone. The swirling hailstorm may have delivered some damage to him, but considering the benefits his berserk status gave him, they were negligible at best, and even then the berserker could feel no pain. The only current problem was that the berserker could not see his opponent. Or rather, it would have been a problem, if Saïx was not the beast that he was. Vexen may have moved ten meters away, but he was still within range of the berserker's nose.
As the false claymore faded, the berserker turned to face the direction he smelled Vexen's scent coming from. Bringing his softly glowing claymore back, the Luna Diviner took aim and flung his massive weapon at the scientist. Now, this was no ordinary throwing of the weapon. The weapon would not only arc after the scientist should he try to run, but given the berserker's MASSIVE strength, the claymore would be flying through the air at a speed akin to a bullet from a gun. Could the scientist even hope to dodge such a thing?
At the same time, the moon that had come under attack by the accursed hailstorm also concocted a plan. The Dusks were useless, given their weakness of the magical hail fluttering down, but the moon was strong. The moon would live on. The moon flashed a dark blue color momentarily before firing off a beam of energy at Vexen. Much like the berserker's claymore, the energy beam would arc to follow the scientist should he try to run, but unlike the claymore it lacked the overwhelming speed. Its attack fired, the moon began floating away from the duel, likely to escape the hail very quickly unless Vexen deemed to follow it.
His claymore flung, the berserker charged in closer, aiming to close the gap between Vexen and himself with the utmost speed. Absolute Zero was slowing him down, but he was pushing himself as hard as he could. He needed to be faster in order to keep up in this accursed snowstorm. He needed to be fast in order to destroy Vexen.
He WOULD be fast. Count on it. --- -> Hunting Wolf in usage for tracking Vexen -> 1 usage of Strike Raid, 5 remaining -> The strength of Berserk Assault and Lunatic's Rage powering the claymore. Absolute Zero would not effect the blade, considering it isn't a being. -> Berserker's Drive and Lunatic's Rage reducing damage taken from snowstorm -> Hollow Moon's 'The Moon's Wrath' ability used from approximately Saïx's location, 10 meters away -> Hollow Moon will escape hailstorm at the end of my next post unless followed -> Slight increased speed. WORKING ON SPEED FOR GREAT JUSTICE!
