Okay, this thread is for all ideas about the Underworld.
Right now, as it stands, the Underworld works very simply.
2 dead characters fight against each other, the loser is gone forever, the winner is resurrected.
If there's only one dead character, then they are able to fight against a Greek Beast, such as the Hydra, the Cerberus, the Minotaur, etc, etc.
Now, an idea that Thaed had, is that we allow people to have the chance to be revived even if they didn't win.
His idea was simple, if a person has enough damage inflicted on them, they are allowed to be resurrected.
Now, this sounds like a pretty easy way to beat the system, but really, it isn't. A person getting beaten is one thing, but someone willingly allowing hits to connect on them, taking some serious damage? That would show a good RPer who knows how to not godmod.

I like the idea. Not only would it prevent overflow, but the most worthy, win or lose, get out sooner.
Of course, you aren't going to tell them this little fact, are you? x3
It'd be much better to let them try to figure it out.

A good RPer would also just beat the opponent. >>
I see nothing wrong with this, I guess.

Alright, so to prevent other people from finding out the secret to Hades' riddle, I say we PM his dialogue to the participants of the Underworld battles. We can warn them that giving away the secret is something that we can find out if they did, so they should not reveal the contents of the PM we send them or they'll suffer a punishment or something. Of course, they won't be told the secret of Hades' riddle if they don't figure it out. To start out, they'll just be told to not reveal anything in the PMs. If they figure it out, then we tell them not to tell the secret. That's all, really. Sound good?

<.<
Okay, what we do is:
We PM them Hades talking to them.
They fight.
We tell them they are released if they did a good job.
We do NOT tell them there is a riddle or a secret or anything...
Basically, they will think its just us randomly PMing them a message from Hades. If they are smart, on their own, they will get curious and wonder if there is a hidden riddle. Whether realize its a riddle or not, whether they figure it out or not, we still grade them on damage recieved.
The reason is simple, if we tell them its a riddle, then their odds of figuring out the riddle is much higher...
As far as what we do after the fight, yeah, I guess asking them not to will work.
Maybe we could figure out a way to switch it up?
Like maybe one fight its the amount of blood they spill, another fight its the amount of energy they expel (Using Abilities), etc etc?

Alright, sounds good to me. So what, do we just start doing this during the upcoming Underworld battle and from there on?

*Shrugs* Sounds right to me lol
If there are any current matches, don't worry about them. We'll just do it for the new ones.

Alrighty, just make sure to let everyone know if you have taken care of the PMs, that way they don't get multiples of the same one. xD

OH, idea.
Just mention at the bottom of the Hades PM that they should never tell anyone they recieved this PM.
Gets it out of the way and it makes it only a little more suspicious.
