Note: This is a type of bidding. It is by no means the only way you can bid.
A bidding system that is a true gamble is called pot betting. In this betting system, several betters can throw in their bets into a pot and the winning side receives all of the winnings (from the losing side) divided among all of the winning betters. While it can be less rewarding if your enemies bet low, it can also be incredibly rewarding if they bet high.
RULE CHANGE: To keep you from betting too low just to save yourself some cash, a bet of 50 munny is the minimum for a pot. If you don't have 50, bet all you have. If you bet lower than 50 before this rule change, you don't need to change it.
It works like this:
The bid starter makes a thread based on a match. Said match has two combatants and those are who you bet on. The betters will then post saying like "100 on Saix" or "50 on Sora". Since this betting is just like a pot where you throw in money, you don't have to match bets, though it would be polite to try.
Note: there has to be someone on each side of the Pot for it to work.
