Riku was about to reply to the others, but then a firm hand was placed on his shoulder. The beautiful, feminine fingers that once were on the waitress now slowly changed into fingers covered in something like black snake skin.
And then the feeling hit Riku. His stomach churned, his head ached, and his Heart began to burn. Instantly, he slapped away the hand on his shoulder and stepped away from its owner.
He watched as the beautiful waitress now turned into this thing. A black coat was draped over her body. Her body seemed frail beneath all of it, and her clothes had all these weights on cords that balanced out other weights to keep her clothes on. Her face wasn't visible, covered in a yellow, porcelain mask without any features on it. Her hair was raven black, and her eyes glowed a dim yellow through the only holes in the mask.
"Who are you?" Riku asked her, ready to summon his KeyBlade.
"Stop asking! Kids always ask questions!" she replied.
Riku wasn't quite sure how to take that, but he remained cautious. That feeling she had sent through him...it wasn't normal. It wasn't anything the likes of him had ever felt before. His hands were tight beside him. "Answer!"
"Stop your whining. You only speed the process by getting riled up."
This sent warning alarms off in every fiber of Riku's being. "Tell me what you mean by 'process'!"
"Teenage boys! So demanding! Bagh, men. What a waste of time..."
"Tell me!" Riku, getting frustrated at how stubborn this lady was, summoned his KeyBlade. In a small flash in his hand, it appeared there and ready to slice-and-dice this poor woman up. He pointed his KeyBlade at the woman, using this to emphasize his point.
"Go rot. Men are so demanding. Your friends were less verbal."
And that was the string of keywords that Riku needed. With those words, he realized that this woman was far beyond normal, and far beyond safe. "What'd you do with them?!" he cried as he moved forward and slammed his KeyBlade down.
His KeyBlade clashed against a hard surface that appeared out of no where. Sparks shout outward and then rained down upon the old woman. "Sparks are so ugly." The shield mounted on her arm held back Riku's KeyBlade with ease. It was diamond shaped with each leg of the angle curving inward. Its blue shine reflected back blue hued light upon Riku.
Riku, upon seeing this shield, pushed off and in doing so, leapt away. But, the second his feet hit the ground, his legs gave way and he collapsed. "For a Dawn, you're not very cautious. Teenagers...feh. If you had been a bit more wary, you wouldn't have been poisoned so easily."
Forcing himself to get to his feet, he stared at the woman...monster...whatever it was. His vision was giving way. "Poison...?!"
"That disgusting punch. It was even more disgusting once I added my poison. Fate is stupid. It gave you all the powers of the Dawn. I can't fight worth my life."
"Got that right!" Riku shouted as several orbs, shrouded in something like a blue fire, converged upon the woman.
The woman was caught off guard-by this attack. Trying to block it, the woman tossed her arms up to protect her head. She was slammed into the ground, her clothes slowly being burnt away. An agonizing scream was let out from her seared spot on the Traverse Town ground.
Riku shook his head at himself. He had gone and just disposed of his way of attaining an antidote for this poison inside of him. "You were right about one thing," he said to the woman on the ground, "I should have been more cautious." His strength was gone and he fell to the ground.
"Idiot boy," came a voice. The woman slowly got to her feet, patting out the flames on her clothes. "I blocked most of that attack with my LockShield. Pay attention next time!" she barked at the unconscious Riku. Quickly, she darted over to Riku, so that she could berid of him before he woke up. "But, then again, idiot partner in Dawn, you're done for."
Her shield came off her arm and floated against the boy's chest. There was an unlocking noise that emitted from the shield, and then Riku's body slowly began to fade into black, as if he was a 3D shadow. Briefly, there was a cracking sound. Like glass, Riku's body shattered. The pieces that were once Riku flashed yellow and then began to dissolve. The dissolved particles floated upward and were absorbed into the shield.
The woman stared at her shield for a brief second before turning to the others in the area. "Stop staring. You all are idiots too." And then she faded out.
[Sorry if this collides with anything with your characters.]

"Well, probably those with odd clothes are a good starting point, after all, every place has different standards- "
It took awhile for Selia to nice the turmoil actually, also because the scene unraveled at some distance from the spot they were standing. Suddenly however, people's gasps and surprise cries filled the air and the crown seemed to start moving in an odd way. Even the dancer's performance seemed to slow down and stop. Not to mention the sudden bursts of light that started to come out from somewhere at her right.
She knew what it was: magic. Though she wasn't powerful at all, the feeling of the energy flooding was very clear, powerful and thus quite scary.
She turned in that direction and did her best to see what in the world was going on. She wasn't able to witness the scene clearly, but she could make out someone disappearing (the kind of 'puff in thin air' disappearance, that left her slight wide-mouthed), after yelling at them.
After a few second to re-absorb the stupor, the young woman looked at Bailee again.
"You know, I think she surely has answers, but I'm not sure she'll likelyto give them to us..."

Gemini was stunned as it seemed his enemy was just killed by someone else! "What in the world...DAMMIT! GET BACK HERE!" he yelled. He unsheathed his sword and slashed at the already faded woman. "That was MY KILL dammit! MY KILL!" Gemini looked at everyone else. "What the hell just happened!?" he yelled. He didn't care if people thought he was an idiot. He wanted answers, now.

Hayai witnessed the whole thing, mainly because he was in the front of the terrified crowd. People were looking away, the younger ones crying. It was terrible at what just happened. What made him feel even worse was that he could do nothing to help.
With his sorrowful gaze fixed on the ground, he slowly stepped forward. "It is hard to believe these eyes of mine, but I think that a cloaked woman with a yellow mask just killed someone with an odd shield. What did she call it? A Lockshield? She must of been a heartless, and a powerful one at that."
He turned his head to look back at the crowd, then back over to Gemini. "Well whatever that weapon was, we shouldn't blindly charge at that woman. That boy looked powerful, but was still no match for her. What this proves is that we need to train and build ourselves up for when she comes back again." Hayai rubbed his forehead, trying to absorb all that had just happened was beginning to give him a migraine.

Focused on what Selia was saying, Bailee failed to notice the fight taking place on the other side of the crowd. In all honesty, when she did notice, she believed it was some kind of main event. There were, after all, flashing lights and sparks, and she couldn’t see very clearly what was going on through the crowd. The crowed itself had stopped their partying activities, even the dancers, and turned to watch as if it was a show. It took her until the boy with the silver hair burst into yellow shards and was absorbed by the mysterious woman in black, for the reality hit her. Bailee had never seen magic before, most everyone on her home world didn’t believe it existed. However she knew that this wasn’t an act. This thought was punctuated by the mysterious shield woman (she couldn’t believe she was seeing this) fade out of the space she had been occupying. Before Bailee finished grasping her head around what she had seen, Selia turned back towards her (though in truth she had never noticed her turning away in the first place).
"You know, I think she surely has answers, but I'm not sure she'll likely to give them to us..."
The serious of what had just happened had fortunately not yet set in Bailee’s brain, so when what Selia had just said struck her as funny (in a morbid way, really) it was enough of a cushion for the blow the shock brought to prevented her from freezing up, or worse, breaking down.
She took a deep breath “Well…the party is officially over now, I think, so everyone should be in a leaving mood. I suppose now would be the time to ask for...a ride?” Not knowing how people traveled between worlds, this was the best word she could come up with. It seemed so abnormally normal a word for the situation; getting a ride home from a party where people get absorbed into shields on another world. Most of the crowd was still distracted by what had just happened, though some murmured talking had broken out. Bailee looked to Selia, hoping she would take the lead. Bailee, as per her nature, was no natural leader.

Selia was still dumbfounded at that show, but unaware of the killing that had just took place. Though she had perceived the ongoing fight, the teenager who had been know as Riku by some of the participants to the party had been already gone before she could notice him. And it was kind of a lucky occurrence, since she would have probably gone in a panic fit if she had known, not for the dead stranger, but because, well, knowing a psycho could just pop behind her from nowhere and put an end to you misery was... unsettling to spoke an understandement.
It wasn't a surprise then, that she kept a kind of calm demeanor in that situation. She tilted her head to Bailee's proposal, her eyes staring warily at one man that had started to throw a tantrum the second the woman had disappeared. Now it seemed some other guy was trying to calm him down, but those people ticked her quite a bit: they looked more angry than surprised at the sudden show...
"I'm may be saying an idiocy." she quietly begun "But don't you think those people there look 'suspicious'? Like they know what's going on. Do we try to approach them?"
Selia wasn't much of a leader either, she didn't posses the calmness and cold thinking needed to guide people. She had however, the confidence of someone who grew up in a wealthy family, and was more restless and impatient than timid, so she was used to quick decisions, good or bad as they could be. It in this case, however, the guy looked, well, kind of dangerous, so a double check with her companion as she cautiously advance toward the guy looked really as a good idea...
Note: If I haven't the time to post again before the thread is closed consider me as a silent tag-along of Bailee

Bailee looked over in the same direction as Selia, following her line of sight over to the two guys where were being louder than most of the rest of the crowd. The yelling angry one was brandishing a sword…he was immediately out of the question. Angry people with weapons did not seem in any way to be a good idea for help. The other one, however, though she couldn’t hear what he was saying looked more like he was trying to get the crowd’s attention and maybe take charge. She pointed out the one attempting to take charge to Selia.
“That one with the orange and black hair, lets ask him.” Remembering her resolve to be braver when meeting new people, Bailee took a deep breath (she seemed to be doing that a lot lately) and then apprehensively began to slowly move forward a bit. It was her hope that Selia would agree with her and go with her through the crowd, hopefully initiating the conversation with orangey-black guy.
She didn’t know anything about whether those two knew what was going on, though she had to admit, they were taking it better than most of the people in the crowd were. But they looked like they came from other worlds, which meant that they might know how to travel away from this place. All the same, the event with the woman with the shield and the boy had put her back on her nervous track. She was still slowly getting used to odd things happening either to her or around her, and in her mind this ranked right up near suddenly finding herself in another world. She still felt distant from the new reality of her life that she found herself in, and so the idea that she might someday be in terrible danger like the silver haired boy had not dawned on her. She had never had anything horrible happen to her before, so her mind was not used to jumping to the possibility.
((If the thread closes before where Selia and I end up is decided, assume we end up together on another world by accident...hey, its happened before))

The young maybe-sorceress nodded, that one looked less like he could chop them on a rage fit, so for a sort of friendly approach he was more suited that his companion.
She signaled to Bailee to follow a bit slowly, having the rabid man mistake them for attackers was a bad idea, so better point all on a 'I'm helpless and harmless' approach. At least even if they turned them down, they would still save their neck, right?
When the distance between them closed up, she cautiously outstretched an arm to lightly tap the guy's right arm and have his attention. He was kind pf funny, with those bicoloured hairs, but that was thing she wasn't going to say, for the sake of her own well being.
"Excuse me? We are here because of... some unfortunate circumstances, and well, we are wondering if you know how to get out of this place. Maybe also an explanation on this happenings would be great, but, if you are... well... busy don't bother, we are only in need of a way out."
Wow, wonderful speech... she didn't work well under stress, it seemed...

What the heck is going on Craze asked? Craze thought about the boy that man showed his sword to in rough way. Holly crap you didn't kill that teen did you Craze asked in a freaked out tone?
Then Craze saw Hayai. Hayai then said something about a lockshield. What the heck is a lockshield Craze asked?

Relieved Selia had taken to her suggestion (she didn’t know what she would have done if she hadn’t) she followed her carefully through the crowd. Bailee didn’t do well in the middle of crowds, as they made her slightly claustrophobic, so she did her best to slip past people without disturbing them in the slightest. Besides, they were jittery from recent events already.
She kept her eyes trained on Selia, who had maneuvered in front of her, and so she immediately got the message to move slowly and was more than happy to comply. Finally, they reached the area where the fight had finished and stood next to their target.
To her further relief, Selia was the one to grab the multi-colored haired boy and explain what they wanted. She positioned herself a bit behind Selia; close enough so that when she said ‘we’ it was apparent who she was referring to, but far enough away so that Selia could take a step back if needed. With baited breath, she stared at the boy and hoped for a favorable response.

Gemini just simply humphed and turned away from the crowd that was leaving. Purple mist flowed in around town and Gemini joined it as he turned into that mist. It then moved away from the town and Gemini was gone. Gemini was not to be afraid of this, for it didn't affect him. He had many other things to worry about, like an old friend of his.....

Unless I find the time to post before the thread is closed: The EndThe half rabid man wasn't in such good relation ship with their interlocutor, seeing he hadn't a second though before leaving, nor a word for the person that was speaking to him... Not that people like him were expected to have many relationships. His way of leaving, though, was so similar to the woman's one that the young woman couldn't avoid to shiver slighlty with relief. His departure wasn't a sad event for her, on the contrary. Eve a a quick tip on how to do such a thing would have really been appreciated. Hopefully now, with his 'companion' gone, the curiously-coloured haired guy would finally pay some attention to them. The EndBailee can take over for me if she wants

Hayai was still looking to the ground, but felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to notice Selia.
"Excuse me? We are here because of... some unfortunate circumstances, and well, we are wondering if you know how to get out of this place. Maybe also an explanation on this happenings would be great, but, if you are... well... busy don't bother, we are only in need of a way out."
The boy's expression brightened a bit, he couldn't help people if he was mopey all the time right?
"Unfortunate circumstances eh? Well, I don't really know how to get around. If I wanted to get to a new destination... I.... I don't really know how I do it." He began to scratch his head. Hayai had never even noticed how he traveled before.
"Well, to travel from world to world. You would either need a gummi ship, or a magical spell to create portals of some sort. A gummi ship can be quite expensive, and you fly through space in them. While magic is cost effective and much quicker. Also, I guess a heartless or something attacked a boy. She used what she called, a 'Lockshield'. Apparently it has magical properties. I could answer any questions for you guys if you like. Maybe you can even come with me on a heartless raid." He shrugged.

While her initial feeling was relief (a feeling that seemed to happen to her a lot lately) that the young man with spiky hair was willing to help them get off the world, some of the words he had used began to catch up with her. He had referred to….Heartless? Magic? A LockShield? Bailee knew she didn’t know much about her new situation (but then again, neither did Selia), but this new understanding of how much she didn’t know made her stomach queasy. As they said, ignorance was bliss: and until she had began to find herself on new worlds, Bailee had been blissfully ignorant indeed.
The questions inside her pushed past her shyness without a second glance and awkwardly presented themselves. “Wha…Wait. What do you….a heartless?”
The word itself seemed gruesome. Heartless. It sounded terrifying. That woman with the shield had done some terrifying things as well. She couldn’t even begin to wrap her mind around the idea of a LockShield, she was still stuck on that other word, magic.
“And magic? But magic can’t…I mean it isn’t really real…is it?” Compared to all of these new ideas, the idea o a gummy ship and portals sounded very tame.
Bailee could only manage to stand there behind Selia with a very confused and peculiar look on her face.
((Sorry or the ignorant char, at least Selia knows what magic is. Also, if she doesn't show up to post I'm just to assume she goes wherever I go. ))

Hayai raised an eyebrow and closely examined Bailee. "You must not be around here. Maybe from an under-developed world or something. Anyways, magic is real. Almost everyone who actually fights knows it, and anyone could learn it. For example," Hayai closed his eyes and focused. Immediately a barrier surrounded him, before disappearing in a brilliant flash.
"That spell was called 'Reflect', it blocks enemy attacks and sends it back at them. Then back to the topic at hand, heartless." His voice changed to a more serious tone.
"Heartless are beings without a heart. When a heartless steals someone's heart, or someone yields into the darkness of their heart, they become heartless as well. These creatures cannot think or plot, and act solely on instinct. The most common breed are the shadows, small and somewhat cute. But they come in all forms and sizes. From a floating ball to a giant dragon. Also, when someone with a strong heart becomes a heartless, their body and soul become what is called a 'Nobody'. But I don't have much information on them yet."
After the explanation Hayai took a seat on the cobblestone ground. "Does that answer your questions? Also, one of you must have a gummi ship or portal ability. The only other explanation that you two are here in Traverse Town would be that your worlds have been destroyed by the heartless."
