Destiny Islands

Upon the Worlds being opened to each other, a new threat came. This threat was universal war. As imagined, this would be a devastating war.

So, the Worlds united unofficially. And, as a gesture of good will toward each other, hold annual parties where partyers from every World imaginable come to have fun. This is one of those parties.

This thread covers the entire Destiny Islands. Beach balls, volley ball nets, food, a bonfire, and other beach party things are all present here.

"Ah sweet, volleyball! I haven't played this game in ages!" In the midst of the party, Zerzen appeared. He was a venturous soul always looking for something new on the horizon. Upon hearing of the words "party" he flew his gummi ship over to the Destiny Islands in the blink of an eye. Back on his home planet he would go to the beach every day he could. That is until Civil War turned it into an utter wasteland, but he could not let that get to him on this day of celebration. This would be the last chance for a vacation he would get before going off to battle the new threat.

"Anyone up for a game? I got wicked skills so you best be prepared." Zerzen, patiently awaited for a few people to join the game. A few people from the crowd were already coming over. Zerzen, could tell it was going to be a good game.

The crunch of sand and shingle mingling sounded as the leather boot on Xanrokku' foot stepped out of his portal and onto what seemed to be a party. what the hell. He was here, why not have fun. Ever since he had regained his heart, he could finally express emotion. Xanrokku walked over to the man holding the volleyball. He removed his shirt and stripped down to his trousers, revealling a pretty muscular body, topped off with a six-pack.

"I'll play with you..."

Sandal prints could be seen in the sand as she made her way down the beach. She was dressed for the occasion in khaki shorts and a short-sleeved grey polo. The ends of her bikini top were evident from the back of her shirt and someone could easily tell she had been swimming. Wet, raven locks were pulled back to reveal her icy blue eyes. A smile crept across her pale features.

"Hey! Mind if I join?" she asked, smiling.

"Alright then, we almost ready to start!" The players began to form up after only a few minutes. The most notable being the muscular guy with a six-pack, and the cute girl with wonderful blue eyes. Zerzen, expected quite a game from Mr. Muscle, but he was curious as to how the girl would do. Of course' they still needed at least one more player to start the game so he couldn't judge their skills just yet. "So you guys want to introduce yourselves while we wait for a fourth player? My name's Zerzen, hailing all the way from Twilight Town if you've ever heard of it."

She glanced over at the guy with a six-pack. He would probably be a good partner for such a game, but that didn't mean she couldn't hold on her own. They still lacked one player, but it shouldn't be too long until they got one.

She smiled sweetly. "Name's Alexis, but my friends call me Lexi. And I'm from Shinzo, if you've ever heard of it," she said. "Pretty big world, in the Northern Quadrant."

Flying above the odd gathering was Caelum. He looked down at the fires,food, and other strange spheres with curiosity. What was everyone doing there? The celestial angled his body towards the ground in a steep dive. After a mighty flap of his wings to slow himself down as he landed besides a group of three. Near him was some form of net and one of the white spheres. It was net but quite unlike the ones he seldom saw that were used for fishing.

"Can you tell me what this is for?" he asked as he pointed at the net. Asking was the only way he would find anything out.

Before they could reply, Zerzen was suprised from a voice behind him. "Whoa, you scared the crap out of me. Well anyway this is a volleyball net. Its used to play a game where you toss the ball back and forth over the net. It's pretty easy to pick up you just have to remember to spike the ball with your wrist, and make sure the ball doesn't hit the ground on your side of the net. You can actually be our fourth player if you want. Then we can start the game."

Caelum stood there thinking about the explanation one of the three people had given him; trying to make sure he got it. So the net was actually used in a game along with the ball. It sounded simple enough and perhaps quite fun. He had even been invited to play. He didn't have a reason not to play so of course he would join.

"Sure, I'll try it. My name's Caelum." he said while he watched the others. Hopefully he would learn quickly.

"you guys playing volley ball?" Jib said running toward a group of people that seem to be picking team for a just such a game. "If you are then can I I play it is one of my favorite games."

As soon as Caelcum offered to join, another guy came running up towards them asking to play. "Well dang its uneven now. Perhaps one of us can be a referee to determine if the ball is safe or out of bounds. That would fix the problem. I guess I'll do it this game then someone else can be referee next game. So now we need teams. Mr. Muscle you can team up with the girl on the left side of the field. Caelcum, and the other guy can go to the right. If that's alright with everyone then we can start. Left side starts out with the ball first.

Xeon had been about to leave the Destiny Islands to search for something to do when he heard of the party. He had never been big on social gatherings, but decided that he might as well give it a chance. It wasn't as if he had anything better to do.

He made his way over to a palm tree by the volleyball net and leaned up against it. He scoped out the teams, seeing a man with a somewhat similar physique to his own on the same side as a girl, and on the other side noted a celestial and another boy. Xeon wondered again why he decided to come to the party in the first place, but decided that he would stay and watch the volleyball match nonetheless. If he didn't see anything else interesting after that, he'd go ahead and leave.

Sora smiled and sighed as the cool breeze washed over the beach. He had done his best to remain secluded, or at least, for the moment. While he loved meeting new people and playing with his friends, even he needed a break to relax and just be grateful to be home without a swarm of Heartless and Nobodies rushing at him.

Sitting on the sand, the warrior of light ran his hand through the sand and smiled as the setting sun cast an orange glow over it, him, and the entire ocean before him.

Pushing up and standing, Sora looked around before starting his trek towards the main party area. He grinned slightly as he wondered if anyone he knew, whether old or new friends, would be there. Deciding it didn’t matter either way, he grinned and started running along the sand.
