Angelous creid out in pain. Blood came out when he coughed. He knew he was dead. He knew it, no one could help him, they were in just as much trouble as he was. He began to scream, He had to do what he did earlier. He yelled as loud as he could, and then it happened. They went flying everywhere, he did it again. Or so he thought. He really just struck them with his blade and sent them flying as they spun him around. He knew this was the end, he was going to die. He opened his eyes, and then closed them. His body fell, and became limp. He moved no more, he was gone, dead. With his last breath he said, "Good-bye."

Someone really had it in for, Zoreaster today. Beasts from beyond the darkness were swarming the town. Four of them did a little dance on his body, and ripped a few pounds of flesh out while they were at it, and of course everyone around him had suffered nearly the same fate. Then just when the valiant and powerful fighters thought they had won more of the little devils had appeared. In fact two of them were completely focused on eliminating, Zoreaster altogether.
The attack came unexpectedly while, Zoreaster was resting for a few brief minutes. The powerful attack he used had drained a great deal of his energy, and the creatures bit a chunk of flesh out of his side. Zoreaster, needed all the rest he could get. Of course, the minions of the dark thought it was fine to try and make yet another quick and desperate attack on him.
After the two creatures were done fighting over who would get the first bite, one of them tackled, Zoreaster to the ground yet again. Being that he was suprised by the sudden attack, there was no time for him to react. Using Zoreaster's suprise to its advantage the beast bit down on his shoulder. The surge of pain the he was feeling right now woke him from his daze.
His eyes now bulging from the pain, Zoreaster gripped his sword tightly, and with a shove, pushed the beast off his body. Knowing an attack was imminent he stood up albeit a bit shakily. As he looked in front of him he noticed the other creature who had been fighting with its "brother" was not two seconds away from ripping half of Zoreaster's neck off. Its own neck had extended quite a few feet from its body. With this in mind the creature didn't have much control while he was trying to make a kill. Not even thinking a moment longer, Zoreaster charged at it with his sword held directly in front of his chest. With a powerful thrust he threw the sword as far out in front of him as he could. The resulting strike had pierced the neck of the beast. Zoreaster, withdrew the blade quikly and turned around to focus his next attack on the other creature.
"You're dead you ugly bastard!", said Zoreaster spitting another saliva-blood concoction on the ground. With a bit of effort he lifted his sword up in front of him. He wasted no time fiercely slashing two times in the air. A bright and blazing white "X" had come from the seemingly pointless attack. After lifting his sword high up in the air, Zoreaster brought it down hard upon the white "X". In no time it flew off directly towards the remaining beast.
"Agh, got..ta find..house." With the blood from his wounds not stopping, Zoreaster now had to find a place of refuge. There was a small house on his right that would do for the time being. All he needed was a place to be safe and rest for a short while. Once he stopped the bleeding, and regained a small amount of energy the fight would continue.
As Zoreaster, sluggishly made his way towards the house he picked up the familiar fragrance of blood. He looked behind him while he ran only to find that one of the fellow fighters had been killed. With a sigh and a brief hint of compassion he moved on. Nothing could be for him at the moment. Zoreaster, would need a revive to bring him back, and to his knowledge he wasn't carrying any at the time. Perhaps one of the others might have one. He could only hope.
His fingers soon found the doorknob. Suprisingly there was no lock on it which meant the people staying there had ran in the recent confusion. As he went inside he was reminded of the other fighters. They would surely be killed if they stood out there for long. Those demons seemed to be nearly infinite in numbers. "Everyone else who is alive come toward this house! There isn't much time!" ((Sorry for sounding really cheesy right here. Can't think of anything else to say.XD)) Hopefully the fighters would catch the message. Zoreaster, could only hold the door open for so long. Eventually he would have to worry about his own needs to stay alive.

Before Auron could reply to the request for help, more creatures attacked him. Despite the injury in his chest he dodged their attacks with ease though fatigue and now began to show on his face and his movements were slowing.
Three creatures stood in front of him, each easily reaching heights of several feet. All three lunged, more determined than ever to add him to their collection of corpses that now littered the town. Auron attempted to leap out of the way but knew he had reacted a few seconds slower than had been needed as one large claw cut across his left leg.
Fortunately, this was the only injury he sustained from that attack. The other fighters seemed to also be losing to their enemies, the man who had moments ago asked Auron for help lay dead on the floor.
"Everyone else who is alive come toward this house! There isn't much time!"
Auron saw both sense and foolery in the demand. If the warriors were gathered in one place they would be able to repel the monsters attacks much easier. On the other hand, with all of them gathered the attack would be focused on one area unless of course, the monsters decided they were not worth the troubles.
On his own Auron stood little chance against the hordes that now plagued the town, so, he began to limp as fast as his bleeding leg and chest would allow him. Thankfully, the unsent part of both his body and soul allowed him to persevere despite the pain.
Only one problem remained, the creatures that now pursued him were approaching fast, and he knew that could easily catch him. As one managed to grasp his cloak between it's claws, tearing at the fabric but thankfully, not his skin, Auron swung back his sword before swinging it back round, allowing the flat end to collide with the creatures chest. It flew through the air, and, had hopefully created a large enough gap between them for him to reach the house.
Fortunately, he reached the door and turned to check if the monsters had ceased the chase. They still approached but were apprehensive at first, obviously not wanting to feel the cold steel of Auron's blade again.

Another wince was seen coming from her face again, the pain was slowly but surely claiming her arm. The blood never ceasing and which got her to wonder why she was so easily taken down. Or was she? Yet she did not want to give in, no matter how much of her power was drained yet. Then again, if she could get help maybe she would have yet to worry about dieing. Maybe just yet.
Ume had found her way thanks to her master's wishes. The puppet's attire was slightly torn and more wood seeped from the wound, quite similar to Chiharu's own injury. The irony of that. Her left hand twitched ever so, giving Ume a small twitching of her arm. As long as her arm didn't give in yet, the puppet itself wouldn't give in.
A wave of pain seeped through her arm again. A whimper forced back thanks to it, but even so - should she give in? The answer was no. This was a battle, and if you were to die do it with honor. With pride. With no..she laughed, no sign of pain. Ha, good luck on that one. But in the end, she'd try to do so.
Another had found its way toward her form. Smaller then the rest, easy to take out - right? Wrong. Its speed was far beyond she had already witnessed in the battle before hand. Oh, her joys of life.
Her right hand moved quick, sending Sakura to help make the attack to slow itself. A gasp was escaped from the puppet master's parted lips when she realized she had moved to late. The Husk had already by passed Sakura's defensives, and was on a collision course toward her. Oxygen was quickly taken from her form when the ram was completed. A small, tiny form was flung into the air. It was soon followed by two other figures, only being forced along thanks to their master's strings.
Rolling on the cold, hard, land came next. She had found herself tumbling about three times. The wooden figures soon followed. Chiharu found herself limp, face facing down unto the ground. Then she felt it, the steady vibrations of a much larger creature coming. Another swift jerk of her hands, a kunai and a razor sharp petal was thrown at both creatures. Finally, she gained some more time. Thank goodness they seemed to be fascinated into the very smell from the sakura before them.
"Everyone else who is alive come toward this house! There isn't much time!"
Oh, what a heroic thing to say. Normally Chiharu may have mocked the man, but this was not the time. Heck, this is what she was praying for. Her chocolate orbs gazed over. Already another warrior had found himself heading toward the same building. She forced herself up, a small whimper escaping her lips. Gazing down, both legs were scraped, along with her right hand. Great...not.
She twitched her hands, both puppets seemed to be working alright. A quick force, she felt herself taking off toward the building itself. Her puppets keeping to her sides, only sending out small blossoms to distract any upcoming Husks. Another harsh inhale, the man before her had those beasts too, and they had stopped not yet attacking him once he reached the house.
"Clear the road!" she hissed, both puppets sending out more razor sharp blossoms. Automatically the beasts found themselves moving from her, allowing her a quick entrance into the door. Both puppets returned to her side as well, and she felt her knees give in once in the supposed 'safety' of the building.

Millery still stood fighting off the monsters one by one, and somtimes groups. Even in her current mood she was slightly irritated by the monsterous beasts as they flooded the streets. However, she still seemed to retain a smile across her face as the blood boiled with excitement in her.
Upon killing off several more beasts she was attacked from above, the beast landed upon her back causing her to fall face forward. Reaching both guns up behind her she began firing several times upon the creature. Until she was able to at least crouch upwards towards the creature. From this crouched position she manage to thrust the barrel of her pistol into what appeared to be one of the creatures eyes, and by pulling the trigger the creature bellowed aloud in what appeared to be blinding agony. It wondered away from her, scratching at its eye. She fired upon the creature once more causing its body to ripple with every bullet fired upon it.
The creature was dead. She proceeded to turn around to find one of the others who had been fighting the beasts, dead. She placed a gun against his hand to see if he was truly dead. Nudging him she then stood up and spoke softly, "...Pathetic...." She was, and had been, a ruthless person and didn't care for anyone else. She then turned her attention to two more beasts that had fallen from ubove, like fallen angels. She carefully aimed her pistols at the creatures. However, as the creatures came along her pistols couldn't stop them. Their mouths, fangs, and claws were thrusted into the skin of her arms. She couldn't feel much pain, because she was in fact already dead in the first place.
The Coffin on her back began to move and radiate, it's eyes began to glow. Useing her own teeth she bit into the skin of one of the beasts and ripped flesh from it. The beast, for some reason, let go of her. As it did, she then pulled up a pistol to the other beast and pulled the trigger. the beast she had bitten stood there for a moment before attacking again. However, the beast was striken before it could even move. Millery had swung her Coffin around and knocked the beast out cold. Out of htred towards them she lifted the coffin up and placed the base of it, smashing intot he beasts skull. A large explosion came from the coffin. Her face, arms, and shoulders were now covered in a mixture of the beasts blood and of her own.
Another voice managed to enter her head as it screamed to go to the house. Which house? Follow the voice. She thought to her self. Running at a fast rate, she searched for the one who called. It appeared to be an old man limping along. She decided to not join the figures running in the house, She had had enough fun. And with that she ran off towards the entrance of this world.

Samuel had rested for a few minutes before continuing out to the streets. As soon as he had left the door, though he heard a growl behind him and ducked under the attacking monster. Realizing that he was being attacked, chains shot from his back and ripped the beast's underbelly apart, showering Samuel with fresh blood that soaked his already bloody clothes and hair. He heard another beast come up behind him as it pounced and Samuel ducked and did the same thing again, reveling in the rain of blood, even opening his mouth and tasting it. The remaining two monsters dove for his legs and Samuel jumped back, avoiding one of them, but the other managed to hamstring his right leg, making him fall down in pain. As the monsters returned in order to feast on his still living flesh with a bloodlust matching his own, a large amount of chains shot out from his body and into the beasts as they were almost on top of him, quickly working the same method as before to liquefy their insides, causing a red juice to leak out of the entry wounds and over Samuel. He could only hope that it was blood. Most of it, anyway.
As Samuel tried to stand up, he screamed in pain when he tried to move his leg. Lying still for a while to allow it to regenerate, Samuel tried again. The pain had lessened, but he was in no condition to fight. Various chains extended out from his body and lifted him into the air as they formed eight, spider-like legs that lifted him a few meters into the air. Climbing up to the rooftops, Samuel proceeded to search for remaining beasts. He could not fight in this condition but if he could hold the high ground he could attack from a distance until he got to his Gummi Ship. After 'walking' for a while he heard someone shout for the survivors to come to the house he was currently in. Surprised by the short-sightedness of this plan, Samuel headed for the voice. The sound had been very weak, but for the man to be able to shout at this volume meant that he was either a professional singer or powerful.
He estimated that he was at least halfway there when he saw a woman being attacked by one of those monsters. She wasn't very powerful, wielding only a sharp, jagged piece of glass wrapped in cloth as she tried in vain to hold off the thing. Raising his hand towards her, a chain shot out from his palm, going through the woman and impaling the beast. She would have died anyway. Samuel continued on until he estimated that he was on the roof of the house where the voice had originated. And, indeed, he managed to catch a glimpse of a young girl run into the house followed by two things that appeared to be... puppets?
Using his chains to smash a hole in the roof, it gave away with a crash as Samuel fell down into what seemed to be like a bedroom. Still walking with his chains, he used them to pull himself through the door and down the staircase, where the other fighters were waiting. So far, no ordinary human had arrived, probably due to the monsters that were surrounding the entrance. As he reached the bottom of the staircase he lowered himself a bit and spoke loudly enough for them to hear. "I am Samuel Samash. Remember the name."
Heading into the kitchen, he opened every cabinet and drawer as he searched through them all at once. He had left a thing trail of blood across the floor. Most of it was the blood of those things that had attacked him, but some of it was his own, showing that the wound was still not healed. Quickly finding a medical box, there was always one in most homes he went to, he sat down gently on a chair as the chains retracted into his skin and he pulled out some bandages. Examining the wound on the back of his leg, he took off his boots and ripped off the leg of his pants at the knee before bandaging it. No time to clean it. When he was finished, he got back on his chain 'legs' and headed for the hole he had made in the roof, stopping only at the top of the staircase to address the people in the building. "Just a word to the wise, friends, kill the monsters outside to allow the remaining survivors to get through. When you have a chance, arm them and help them barricade this house. You are supposed to be protecting Radiant Garden, not a single house. There are still many people out there that might become monster-food without you. Whether you take my advice or not is up to you, but first and foremost you should protect the people." Ripping a lamp off the wall, the nearest iron he could see, it quickly morphed in his hands and turned into a sharp dagger as the glass shattered, cutting into his hand and oil leaked out. It hurt like hell, but he threw the finished dagger down to the floor at his feet, leaving it there, vibrating as it left.
Two beasts had found their way up on the roof and had decided to ambush him instead of heading inside and leaped for his shoulders with beastly cries. One of them was impaled through the head and the other managed to claw a deep furrow into his arm before two chains wrapped around its middle and squeezed, breaking it's spine. They advanced upwards, breaking it's ribcage. They advance even further, coving the terrified, screaming head before crushing it completely, bringing yet another spray of blood. Leaving a last parting gift, Samuel extended a barbed chain from his palm and sewed the hole shut, leaving a web of sharp metal waiting for any monster that tried to enter. Samuel then made good progress towards the hangar where he kept his Gummi Ship, entering through the window and rushing towards the big, dark shadow that was Keito, his ship.
Samuel Samash left Radiant Garden and headed to a very special world. Healing could come later. There were some people who he urgently needed to talk to.

As the majority of the Husks that attacked the few survivors left standing after the enslaught were destroyed, those people seeked refuge in a nearby home offered by Zoreaster. Most of them had been wounded pretty badly, and a couple of them had chosen the more cowardly path of flight, of retreat and abandonment of a place that many called home. How pathetic.
As they all ran into the home across the stone street, the Husks looked up with an eager expression on their faces. At the sound of Zoreaster's voice, they charged toward him, aiming to get through the open door, but they were too far away, and by the time that the thirty of them had reached the front of the building to get inside, the door had already been locked shut. There were two windows on either side of the door, and they had obviously been blocked off by dressers by the true owners of the home until they had fled the world.
The Husks did not hesitate in the least bit, ramming the door and walls with their thick skulls as soon as they reached the place of refuge. Three Husks took turns ramming the door as each one would charge it with their cranium and fall back from the impact, over and over as the locked and blocked door creaked, showering tiny splinters in all directions.
The four Husks that were on the left hand window smashed it with its face, contacting the wooden dresser in front of the window with great force and roaring in pleasure at the meals that would be soon to come. It's two brothers behind it helped the process of breaking through the dresser by repeatedly slamming him into the opening of the window.
The right hand window had been punched open by the first of four Husks. That Husk simply leaned back and continuously rammed the dresser blocking entrance, protruding the spikes on his shoulder with each blow. It was tearing apart the dresser and slowly but surely creating an opening.
Ten Husks had jumped immediately after reaching a close range to the home. They all landed and instantly began the process of jumping up and down with all their might, ripping apart the roof tiles, and punching away holes in the roof so that they could be the first ones to get to the fresh meat below.
After only about a minute of bashing and breaking, of the harsh sounds of destruction, the most of the Husks had broken open many entrances that were about half of the size that was needed to get their whole body through. As desperate as they were, about ten of them, six on the roof and two at each window, had stuck their torso halves into the half-completed entrances. They extended many limbs and protruded the spikes from their shoulders as their appendages zoomed toward each member of the room.
Almost time to feast.

OoC: Apparently no one wants to post. If this isn't posted in by Monday, I'll be editing my post so Auron can leave.
Only one other had reached the house, a woman accompanied by what seemed to be a pair of dolls. As tempted as he was to question the warriors choice in weapon, the time for such thing was surely not now.
As soon as the door had been closed to the streets, the monster had began to move once again. Within moments the house was surrounded and the crude barricades were beginning to quickly crumble away. The monsters were tearing through them with ease, a combination of both tooth and claw proving to be deadly against the flimsy wooden defenses.
Much to Auron's displeasure, many of the creatures had begun to display an ability that could prove fatal to the three remaining warriors. Limbs extended from each of their bodies and once again, the threat of impalement was on them all.
Despite his injuries, Auron began his attack once more, swiping and slashing at claws as he reached them. He no longer cared whether the blows were proving effective or not, his only objective at the moment was not to sustain another injury.
"We must create an opening!" he called, hoping the others would hear over the sound of destruction. Inside this building they would surely meet their deaths, unless someone had an idea.

:*: ^^ Boy, sorry for the late response. Edited my post to support Famfrit's And I hope this post is alright...:*: Upon stabling herself to her feet, Chiharu did feel orbs scanning her down. Needless to say, she wasn't yet going to mouth at the person to stop it. For now, it wasn't the time. The bleeding from her arm was beginning to slow it's pace, and she began to take note of the numbness coming from it. A grumble escaped her lips. Not only for her arm, not for being almost tempted to give in, but the fact that she may have been getting close to her limit on her puppet's weapons. And that would end up driving her mad if she began going severely low on weaponry. She went to speak up anything to the other warriors, but soon her words grew silenced with their movements. Great...not. Her lips formed a frown, and she just realized the pain from her newly scrapped knees. The first place her chocolate orbs went too was none-other then the windows. Those glass plates would be easy to break through. Sure enough, four Husks were on both the right and left windows. Her orbs traveled down wards, fallowing the glance movements as they entered into the house. She felt herself take one step back, preparing both puppets. Clearly, her mind was in thought...and Sakura was the faster puppet by default. So, it was settled then... As one warrior already began his fighting, clearly not to prevent anymore injuries from him, Chiharu continued to get ready. Of course, these things were coming toward this puny house and getting close to turn it into splinters. "We must create an opening!"The man's words rang through her skull. "Alright!" she responded, Sakura moving by the commands of her fingers. With a twitch of an index finger, Sakura was sent streaming forward toward the broken glass of the windows. These Husks looked like the slower kind, so Sakura would easily be able to avoid any one of their attacks..or so Chiharu hoped. Within moments the puppet had gathered several sharp, large, pieces of the shattered glass. Alright, one part down. Now this would be the hard part, it had to hit with complete accuracy. Her lips grew dry, she could not afford to screw up on this move..since it wouldn't help them at all. Shinning pieces flew into the very air, and with another small twitch Umi was sent to attack the pieces into the air. Coming in contact with three shuriken made the glass shatter into extremely small pieces. Sakura found her speed useful, sending the small particles flying toward the Husks themselves (since she was gathering all the 'dust' particles from the shattering glass). Merely the pieces were to go for anything that made them back off, since what was left of Sakura's blossoms were sent to make the Husks really back off. After this, Sakura would have no weapons left to her dismay...but, as long as the opening was made, it was all she could do. They, themselves, responding by moving back. Alright...a window was opened, but they had to cover that and fast to keep it open.

OoC: Once again, this topic had been neglected. It's been going on far to long, as I've said earlier, if there's no posts in the next day or two I will be pulling out. If, for some reason, you're not able to post can you atleast post something about it here? Being unaware of an absence and trying to wait patiently for a post isn't fun. ¬_¬

"I can honestly say that was the second worst decision I've ever made", said Zoreaster mumbling to himself. Not even thirty seconds had passed before these creatures, these abominations attacked the wooden shelter. Obviously rest wasn't going to come easily for the former scientist, nor the two others who had followed along with this foolish idea of his. However, Zoreaster wasn't about to let them all die for his faults.
Slowly, Zoreaster got up from where he was currently slumped over. The wounds and scratches all over his body had taken their toll on him, but at least the bleeding had slowed down considerably. Of course he wasn't really worried about that at all right now. What the three of them trapped inside of the house needed was an opening as stated by the other man moments prior. Getting an opening would be easy enough, but anything after that was going to be tricky as the Husks were undoubtedly good at tracking and hunting.
However, just before, Zoreaster could think up a foolproof plan a "puppet master" of sorts had already cleared an opening. "Well that certainly makes things easier", he said. With huge strides he walked over to where the girl had cleared the window. Those creatures wouldn't be phased for long so the three of them, five if you counted the puppets, needed a bigger distraction. They would need a person or something that looked like it.
"Girl!", said Zoreaster touching the puppet master's shoulder with his long, skeleton-like hand. "I need you..." he said now taking his body armor and cloak off "...to use your skills and animate these so that they'll move like a person. You'll need to make sure the cloak is closed and the hood is down at all times. These creatures are purely animalistic and won't be able to recognize it's a hoax until they attack it. When they attack it we get the hell out of here. If you can manage this we just might be able to get everyone out safely. For now...."
With everything said, Zoreaster fired a charged shot that he had built up inside his blade towards the ground beneath the group of beasts kept at bay by the puppet master's previous distraction. The resulting force of the blast would at the very least send a cloud of debris in the air that would temporarily blind the beasts. This would hopefully give the girl enough time to make up her mind, and Auron enough time to get down to where they were at. "Well that was my last attack. You need to decide what to do soon girl, or we're done for."

The creatures screamed and howled loudly, flailing their arms wildly, kicking, screaming, scratching, slashing, grasping, hundreds of different attempts to attack the survivors who were so close, yet so far. Yet their screams were different, louder, deeper, roaring in what could only be described as pain, shrilling through the air, even those who were not under attack by the warriors within. Atop the roof, the Husks screamed loudly, roaring with all their might as they suddenly collapsed, falling off the side and landing with a hard crash onto the hard ground. Those crawling within the walls scrambled madly for their victims, wanting their blood, their flesh, their hearts, their energy! But to no avail, every movement caused the next to come slower and slower… Finally the noise began to die down, the strange monsters moving barely at all, only their eyes weaving back and forth, their silvery bodies stopping, their eyes dulling, dimming, until slowly they faded into black. The last creature moving, red blood fresh on its body, screamed one last cry and thrust out its arm, extending it to the closest fighter, but before it could reach their throat, the arm detached itself, falling to the ground and clattering. Its scream rang into the air, but only lasted a brief second before it too ended… All around Radiant Garden the beasts had stopped, some of them broken into pieces, some simply laying upon the ground, all motionless. As people moved to the monsters, checking to see if they were truly safe, their hopes were confirmed. Upon touching them, the beasts broke apart easily, dry and crisp, easily snapped with minimal pressure. The raid had ended, the Husks had finally been defeated. But how? This thread will be locked October 17th.

OoC: This isn't my last post. unless it has to be. Once both others have posted I will post either an exit post or a further discussion on the event. Scrap that, I'll just leave and allow this to finish.
IC:Shrill cries filled the air, and Auron was relieved to find out what they meant. The remaining attackers limbs became limp, some of which hung loosely through gaps in the ceiling and walls. In that moment, everything seemed to remain perfectly silent and still, the only sounds to be heard were the breath of the three remaining warriors which were now returning to a steady pace.
Through the gap created where a window once stood, Auron crept, slightly skeptic of whether the monsters sudden death was genuine or just another trick. Though it seemed that it had not just been the group that had assaulted the house that had been effected by the mass culling of monsters, Auron could not be to sure. He raised his blade, and swung it down towards a creatures exposed neck. Thankfully, it evaporated into air rather than rise up and attack
Looking around, he saw many people repeating such things and it seemed that a single touch would suffice. The people of Hallow Bastion were safe, or atleast most of them. Some of the bodies spread among the streets were human and despite knowing this was not his fault, Auron couldn't help but feel a small amount of guilt.
He turned, and with a slight nod of the head and a grunt, beckoned for the other two to come outside.
"It's safe," he said, "Or atleast I think so." Now all that remained to do was ponder what exactly had happened. The beasts appearance had been surprise enough but their sudden death and been even more bewildering. Perhaps Leon would know something. After all it had been him that had warned Auron about a new threat rising. He turned away from the other warriors and began to walk, eventually fading away into a mass of pyre flies and heading for his next destination.

She had tensed, indeed, to one skeleton like hand on her shoulder. Maroon hair flew as her head was darted to face the man who had laid his hand down upon her covered flesh. Orbs sparked with wonder or with uncertainty, questioning whether or not to trust. Though, she didn't finish her musings..one couldn't in a battle field after all.
Her right hand twitched, Sakura becoming limp after loosing contact with her hand. A scroll was raised, Sakura soon disappearing into the text itself. Once inside, the scroll was hiding within her ruffled, silk cloak. Her hand returned out of the clothe, and Ume was switched over to her right hand. The left hand was prepared to take on the man's request, though she did not how well it would work...
...but, they didn't have anytime to test that with the shrills. One eye closed, as she were displaying pain to the shrieks. With the shrieks came next utter silence...
...the smaller framed girl shivered with the sudden silence. Slowly, she stood after the other warrior took another attack, before the silence even dared to peak. Confusion plastered on her face, she sifted her gaze to the other man. Red attire, slick hair, and a dead aura was what she could only read.
With his motion, she soon followed after allowing Ume to retreat into her own scroll-like-structure. Her eyes clasped shut, stinging with seeing the outside light at full potential. Focusing on the bodies that lay before them, her lips dared not to show any signs of emotions.
"Depends if you can call anything safe," she merely murmured, not expecting the men to hear her. Slowly her right hand traveled up her injured arm, that seemed to be numb, not feeling the pain. What was left of her sleeve on her cloak, she shredded off. Orbs dancing over the damaged flesh, taking in on how bad the wound was. Her lips gave off a sigh.
Watching the other warrior already make his exit, Chiharu mused ever so. This would make her defiantly change her mind on any jokes...or wait, was she even one to joke? Whatever the case, Chiharu turned to face the other warrior that had yet to leave.
"Well, we survived," she forced a smile, though it would appear distant to one at the moment."But now, we make our depart."
Still grasping the shredded clothe in her hand, she began making her own departure. Though she moved slowly, allowing her body to rest when needed, one could tell she would not give in easily anymore...
