The creature's simple minds could not comprehend their environment. It was simply dark. Over time, though, their advanced eyes had adjusted, so that they may be able to see through the darkness wherever they are. Their noses had become keen to other creatures. Their ears had- Their ears were picking up a new sound. As such, they turned their eyes up to above them. When they looked up, they were blinded by the white light that blasted them. They turned away and closed their eyes, awaiting for their sensitive eyes to adjust to this new light. After a short time, they reoppened them and turned their heads up again to see above them. A small hole, in the shape of a white glyph, in the air was what rested above them, floating. Inside the hole, they could see a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. Surrounding that, they saw white walls. Some of them reached up and placed their claws on the edge of the hole, awaiting the chance to be given the order. Then, they saw the huge man that towered even over them. His voice was booming, demanding their attention with every fiber of their being. "Ya'll are lookin' mighty perty," is what he said. But, this didn't really register with these monsters. It wasn't an order, so it didn't make sense. "Play, destroy, have fun! Just don't get in my way." THAT was an order they could understand. That was the order they were awaiting. The monsters, using their muscular bodies, shot out from their hole and into this bright, new world that they were ordered to destroy. The second each monster was out in the open, it didn't hesitate to tear apart the shaped hedges and leave deep gashes in the castle walls. Once this area was done, they would move out to another area to destroy. And so, the Husks were on their much desired rampage. ====================================

(Beh, gonna be rushed. >_< High on the top of Disney Castle, a lone figure could be seen standing amongst all the other sights in the sky. Golden locks of hair could be seen blowing in the wind, rubbing gently against a fair-skinned face. Golden eyes looked out upon the courtyard of Disney Castle, trying to see if anyone was there. When nothing could be seen, a blue gloved hand swept across the golden hair, brushing it off to the side. The blue armor glinted off of the golden sunlight in the sky, betraying his position on the top of the castle. A blue cape could be seen, hanging off of his back, billowing gently in the breeze. The blue gloved hands removed themselves from the golden head, and laid to rest at their sides. Finiero was searching for his desire... Kingdom Hearts was what he was seeking, and he had finally found a way there. But, that stupid little pyro, Zero, refused to give him the key to accessing it. So instead, he found himself standing atop Disney Castle, looking for a way to blow off steam. The emotionless golden eyes took another scan over the courtyard, trying to find any sort of being which he could question for...whatever reason he could. Suddenly, something caught his eye. A large hole had formed from absolutely nowhere, and strange, white...beasts were pouring out from it, wreaking destruction everywhere they went. Raising one of his blond eyebrows, Finiero watched the little menaces do their work. Hm...this can't be good for the Castle...I suppose I should help the mouse and his servants with this...With a slightly annoyed sigh, Finiero spread his brilliantly white wings, letting the wing blow at the feathers for a moment or two. Making a motion as if he was unsheathing a sword, a white flash of light radiated through the air, being replaced by the white sword, Divine Light. Not wasting any more time, Finiero leapt into the air, letting his wings carry him through the air. His sword was held flat at his side, and he didn't move a muscle. Instead, he kept his golden eyes trained on one of the creatures, waiting for the right moment. When he was within a couple feet of the creature, he relaesed his sword in an upward arc, slashing at the creature. The creature instantly broke into two pieces, falling to the ground. Finiero, flapping his wings a couple more times, landed gently at the ground, folded his wings, and pointed his sword at the next nearest creature. The mercenary was actually helping. "How bright do you think the light truly is?"(I could've made that so much longer...I just got home from work, and I'm heading to the movies.)

((Yay, another event! I would fight with the warriors, but I don't want to risk Hayai dying. Also, if I may ask, how powerful are these husks? Because I wouldn't want to god mod and have my character auto-killed.))
Hayai was walked with a bounce in his step down the castle courtyard, whistling a delightful tune. It was his first time here, and he really enjoyed the delightful scenery. "It must of took some skilled hands to shape some of these hedges." The young man spoke, still in awe at how intricate a few of the hedges were. As he was walking up the steps, a strange noise peirced the peaceful silence
Crouching down behind the stone railing of the steps, Hayai peered over. Confused, he scanned the area, hoping to find the source of the noise. Hmm... it all looked the same, except that bright hole in the shape of an odd symbol. "What is that? Is there a party or something?" Still lying low, his eyes widened as a beast beast shot through. Then a second one appeared, "what are these things? Are they heartless? Are they related to that scary woman with the shield?"
A picture of a woman clothed in a black robe, holding a four-pointed blue shield appeared in the vast emptiness of his mind. Then, the creatures he saw before him stood next to her. Hayai didn't see any comparisons, so they must not be related, right? By the time Hayai was back to reality, he witnessed the creatures rip and shred the once radiant scenery. Soon afterward, he saw a man with white wings appear and slash one of them into two.
"An angel?" Hayai turned to the husks, "so those must be demons; and by the way they are acting, I take they are not too friendly." At this realization, Hayai marched down the few steps, and turned to the beasts,
The young man's sights were aimed on the creature that hasn't been eliminated. Hayai ran forward, pulling left arm back with him. At arm's distance, he threw the same arm forward, punching the beast in what he thought was the gut. Hayai's punch sent the creature tumbling backward, falling on it's back. Upon closer inspection, he saw that the beast was only in pain; but not dead.
"Well, I guess that punch was a bit to weak." He now stood still, waiting for how the beast would respond.
((I hope this post doesn't have too many mistakes in grammer.))

(*AIRPOKE* HowpowerularetheseHusks?)
Hxestera walked through the castle's courtyard, looking as if she killed. It was so beautiful here...and it was her first time at Disney Castle and she was happy..for once. When a portal opened out of nowhere, Hxestera let out a snarl. HOW DARE THESE THING RUIN HER MOOD! Her sword appeared with a burst of darkness and light. She pointed her large sword at one of the creatures, her eyes narrowed. She looked around, seeing the other two fighting. The first one she saw was the one with wings. "...An Angel...?" she mumbled. She turned to the second one. "....Wha-" Hxestera flinched and whipped around. "Naughty little creatures are you...?" Her voice was cold and emotionless. She raised her sword, slamming it down on the nearest husk. "Well now you're A pancake" she hissed, raising it. "Which now makes me hungery..." She sneered as she saw that the husk was not dead, but in pain. "Persistent fellow aren't you!?" She waited for the beast to reaspond, her cold emotionless Brown eyes narrowed. Why was she fighting?! Hxestera didn't want to risk her non-existant life...She had a better shot of getting a heart then living. "Guess my attack was a bit too weak..." The killer sneered.
(This coulda been longer.....)

(I would be fighting the warriors/Husks in Hollow Bastion but the slots were all taken....)
Back here again, what was it that drew him to this place? He couldn't fathom why he just kept coming here even when this place was as boring as a snooze convention in the middle of nowhere. Oh well, no time to prattle on about why he was here. He was here and that was that, no ifs ands or buts. He strolled the corridors of the castle briskly, weaving through the halls and narrowly avoiding oncoming broom men. He used his left hand to brush away a few strands of his snow white hair from his face back down to his shoulders. The wild mane refused to listen to his unvoiced command, so he just left it there where if wanted to stay.
He turned a corner and was tripped up by two small creatures. He stumbled but kept his balance. He was lucky not to step on them. He tried to pick them up but they just screamed loudly and yelled "They're heartless here too. There with those creatures!!" with that the two ran away and disappeared into a crack in the wall. They were lucky he couldn't follow them or he would have given them the beating of their lives for associating him with those inferior puddles of slime that most people encountered.
Realizing that he was starting to get mad, he relaxed and counted to ten slowly. After reaching six something burst down the corridor at him. It had come from the direction of the gardens. Moving quickly Sorant transformed his amulet into a large hammer and swung it, baseball style, at the thing coming at him. He succeeded in smashing it through the wall back to the gardens on the other side. He looked through the hole and assesed the situation.
Apparently some angel dude, a chick, and some boy were already fighting the creatures. Now he was able to see the creatures as a whole instead of the blur he saw before. They had white-ish skin so he gussed they might be with the Nobodies, that is until he saw the symbol. This he did not recognize so he assumed a newer group had come to start fighting in this multi-world war. Sorant transformed his hammer into a Swallow, a double bladed sword with black blades and a red heartless hilt. The blades resembled frozen flames.
He hopped through the hole and held his weapon in one hand. He walked through the chaos of the garden without being noticed very much. A few beasts tried to attack him but were cut down by his weapon's quick and deadly movements. He made it near the angelic person and watched as he fought. Then he turned his attention over to the girl and boy. They seemed to be having some problems so he decided to help out a bit. Rasing his weapon in a hand he threw it at an angle. The swallow span like a destructo disk and sliced the the middles of the beasts in its path. It knocked away a few that were attacking the female and it decapitated the beast that the boy was fighting. Just as his weapon was spinning back towards him it was deflected by a piece of a statue that was broken by the creatures.
"Crap. Now i've gotta go get it." he said aloud as he jummped into the air. He hopped off of the head of any creatures that were in his way and gained ground towards his fallen swallow. It had reverted back to its orginal amulet form and to make it even more difficult it was in the hands of one of the greatures. Just my luck.
(What if no one else replies what then??)

Wraith walked through the gardens in the courtyard of Disney Castle, quite disappointed with it's inhabitants. He had come, of course, because he had heard that it was the home to a king, and thought that he might've been able to find some work. Alas, the king was nowhere to be found, apparently attacked by a strange warrior, and all of the rest of the inhabitants had no use, or at least the desire to use, a mercenary. On top of that, they were all animals, and none of them looked particularly strong, so sparring to pass the time wasn't even an option. Walking through the garden was supposed to calm his mind, but it wasn't doing a very good job of it. The annoyance was so strong that his wings sent him the actual emotion, and it was times like these that he wondered why he had gotten his heart back at all, and whether he really did want to be complete.
That's when an opportunity came to alleviate his boredom.
Wraith heard fighting suddenly erupt throughout the castle, and looked up to see several warriors fighting with many strange looking creatures that he'd never encountered before. Moving toward one of the creatures to get a good look at it, he saw that they were definitely not winning any prizes in a beauty contest, although they did look dangerous. The creature turned and attacked him, indeed proving that they were hostile, but also certainly not the smartest plan. Wraith snapped his fingers for a theatric effect, and created a barrier of white energy off which the leaping monster bounced. The second after his attacker had landed on it's feet the barrier disintegrated, and in a smooth motion, Wraith drew one of his 9mm's from his shoulder holster and fired two shots. One through the creatures head, and one in the center of it's chest where the heart should be, magic light surrounding the bullets for the millisecond it took them to reach their target.
"Tch" If these creatures were going to attack him, then Wraith was most certainly going to take the initiative. Usually he would find a way to get a contract for payment before fighting a battle, but it was obvious that these peace loving animals weren't going to give him one, so he'd do it for free, just this once. Besides, it wasn't like these ugly monsters were just going to leave him alone, so he'd end up fighting anyway. Wraith sighed, and wondered why he had even bothered coming to the castle. This was going to be nothing but trouble.
Holstering his pistol, he hopped up onto an elevated stone crop on the edge of the castle, just high enough to get him a vantage point, and pulled the sniper rifle off of his back. He probably wouldn't waste a shot unless he found a really good opportunity, but the scope gave him a great view of the area. Soldier 101, if confronted with a vast force of enemies, see if you can find a leader. That's what he was trying to do, but he somehow doubted that these rampaging creatures really were being lead at the moment. They just seemed to attack and destroy things with no real purpose.
Scoping out the area, Wraith awaited an opportunity for a shot that would make a difference....

He'd just arrived back on this world.
Last time he'd been here, there had been a huge party, where so many others had appeared. That hadn't been too successful on his part, as everyone had seemed to be chasing after one another or having tense staring matches. Perhaps he'd just been late. He had a tendency to do that.
The gardens were are brilliant and green as ever, the topiary still neatly trimmed and contrasting against the brilliant white walls of the Castle quite nicely. Khaiden strolled out of the hangar, whistling a little song, yet any vulnerability or innocence which might have seemed part of his appearance would have been taken away by the mere fact that his hand was gripping his weapon, as if something would jump up from behind a hedge and start attacking. The chances were slim, yes, but you could never be too cautious! Besides, no one had stopped him yet for bringing arms upon the world.
Goodness, it is a little quiet around here... where is everyone?
It was like the immense silence which preceded a giant battle... with bright blue skies and fluffy white clouds, and the topiary playing music at him, it all seemed too perfect. The back of his neck began to prickle, and the boy's whistling ceased. This wasn't right...
"WHOA!" Khaiden swung around, raising his weapon and deftly notching a bolt to click into the mechanics of the machine, flicking the switch and releasing it into the air. With several quick flashes, he saw that he hadn't been as alone as he had thought: something with wings had burst down, almost shrouding his immediate view, cleaving a strange white creature in two and going to face another one. Four others joined the fray, and Khaiden found himself swept up in the strange battle with the even stranger creatures. He had not seen them emerge, and he had no idea exactly what they were, but there he was. The smooth surface of his weapon glinted harshly in the tainted sunlight, and the grip began to turn slick with sweat from his exertion. I bet I'm not actually doing anything, or I'm hallucinating and I'm just doing some strange dance in the middle of the garden by myself, he thought gravely, but if he was actually sane and there were really white monsters tearing the world apart, then he might as well. He could always hop away before anyone noticed him, right?
Sending several bolts through a single creature, he made his way through the battle towards some of the others, and stood near them. "Where on Earth did these come from?" Khaiden's shout hardly rung over the roar and clash of the battle, but he hoped someone would hear it anyway and at least try to answer. He had to admit, he didn't really like fighting things which he knew nothing about. Were they immune to magic? He wasn't the most skilled warrior, and he should've been worried about his state, but there wasn't much time to think about it.

[We are debating on abilities/HP/etc of the Husks. But, the Husks will probably just continue using physical attacks and can be destroyed in a shot/slash or two. However, the Husks controlled by this account are to be treated as if they were regular characters (meaning if your attacks actually work on them and if they die is not up to you).
Scrii, yes, magic works on them...just in case that was a hidden question, that is.
And another thing, always keep in mind that there are still NPC Husks running around. If you divert your attention to the Husks I'm controlling for too long, you may face problems.
And, finally, I'm saying screw the posting order. Just everyone post once when you can and then I'll post and etc.]
A knight in royal armor (which is a random NPC here for drama purposes) brought back his long sword, ready to smash the blade upon his enemy. But, many claws instantly grappled onto the blade. As the knight turned his head to see the Husks that had surrounded him, he was knocked to the ground. The Husks didn't leave any room to see what was happening. But, as the man let out a horrible scream that sounded like that of a matured crow dying, you knew he was gone. With a few sparks here and there, the Husks tore open their 'canned food' with ease. And, upon the Husks dispersing, all that was left was the misconstrued armor of the knight that had lost.
Ten heads popped up on their versatile necks to look at the small group that had formed to dispose of the Husks. Each of them let out an audible growl, more drool spilling out from their jaws, as each eventually made its way toward the group. Some of them ran on all-fours, some ran hunched over much like a raptor, but they all made it over rather quickly.
The group of five was huddled together close enough now to make this simple on the Husks. The Husks didn't run circles around the group; they weren't smart enough for that. Instead, they simply went in for the kill.
3 Husks leapt into the air. The center one had its feet down, wanting to stomp someone into the ground. The other 2 had their claws and necks stretched, ready to tear their food apart upon landing.
The remaining 7 Husks converged on the group head-first in an attempt to tackle them and send them flying...maybe even bite them along the way.
A short distance away from the attack on the group, a scent caught one Husk's nose and it followed it to a wall. Upon further investigation, this curious and hungry Husk could see and smell the man above, perched and ready to attack. Taking the example of the first Husk, others eventually caught the smell too. It took the Husks a few seconds to come up with a way to attain their meal, but one of them got it. With its claws, the Husk penetrated the wall. By using its claws in accordance with its feet, the Husk began to climb. It was a slow process and it wouldn't get there fast enough for the sniper to worry about yet. But, the other Husks were following the example. A small group of 4 Husks were slowly making their way up to attain their sniper-wielding meal.

Wraith's bright blue eyes caught movement in the large group of monsters in several directions, but the only enemies he needed to worry about were the ones comeing at him. Breaking off from his search for their leader, he decided that something needed to be done about these monsters closing in on him. They weren't moveing very fast, but that didn't make much of a difference to him, an enemy was a threat no matter how slow they were. He thought rapidly about a plan to dispose of them, and came up with a good one. With a smile on his face, Wraith removed his coat, revealing his black sleevless shirt and strong arm muscles, as well as his most impressive feature. His brilliant white wings.
Spreading his wings, Wraith lifted directly up into the air, then spun around and drifted backwards, holding his position in the sky without moving his wings. Moveing quickly so as to not give the creatures climbing the walls any time to react, he held one hand in front of him that quickly gathered blinding white light into an orb floating a centimeter away from it. Launching the attack from his fairly low altitude, he aimed directly for the wall, putting as many monsters as he could in the circular six foot blast radious that would result on contact with it. Without waiting to see the result, he immediatly turned to another group of these demons. His eyes revealed to him their energy, which was something that he'd never seen before. It was vaguely like a human's energy, but only in the sense that it was twisted, and almost opposite to it.
His wings sending him another burst of annoyance, he immediatly turned to another cluster of the monsters and let off a second blast attack, once again aiming so that the most of them that he could get were in the blast radious. To avoid being made an easy target after his assualt, he quickly folded his wings and dropped to the ground, backing himself into one of the stone corners of the courtyard wall so that his enemies could only attack him from the front. His eyes glowing brightly, he used his power to see through the obsticles, once again trying to locate the leader, but also ready to fend off another attack. After all, he hadn't waited for the smoke to clear from the explosions, so he didn't even know whether that type of attack killed them or not.
Filtering through the auras of his enemies, Wraith knew that it was going to be a long day...

((Awesome, thanks. I wasn't really expecting it to be answered, but it's good to know anyway.))
They seemed to be everywhere! Were there more coming, or were they just invincible to what the assembled party was doing? Through the chaos of the battle, he barely had time to wonder what he was doing, fighting alongside complete strangers in a world he had visited only once.
Pausing for a brief moment to assess whatever strategy the creatures were using, Khaiden cast a quick eye over them, feeling quite sticky and bothersome already as he regained his head. My, they're rather disgusting things, he noted, seeing the saliva dripping out of their gaping maws as they rushed back towards him and the rest of the party. The boy could see four of the monsters clambering up the Castle walls towards one of their party: the one who seemed to be wielding a sniper of some sort, but that one seemed to have it under control for now.
Besides, Khaiden had to worry about the ones which would tear him to pieces if he didn't act fast. Lowering himself into a neutral, ready stance, he tightened the grip on his weapon, and quickly jammed down the switch with an audible click as he loaded a heavier bolt. Quick, quick... Desperate thoughts clamoured his head as he waited for the power-up to complete, then with a loud releasing click and a smooth whoosh, he released the switch and sent the metal head flying viciously in a spiralling motion as the weapon began to shudder in his hand. The bolt shot right through the left side chest of one of the monsters not in the main group, and Khaiden immediately pushed off the ground, leaping to face the creature head-on, who was still moving forward. With a violent slash, the blade of his crossbow severed the lower jaw of the creature clean off, and the momentum managed to swing him out of the way just in time as well.
His assailant, and victim, was fallen, but not yet dead. As Khaiden regained footing upon the ground, he swung back around to where the monster lay in a temporary mound on the ground, and, holding the weapon upright, drove it deep into the base of the neck. Hastily looking around, he could see the others. All of them seemed older, and far more experienced in both physical and magical attacks. He'd managed to overpower one, but how many more were there? He moved swiftly back to the rest of the group, bracing himself for another encounter with those hideous things.

Still pointing Divine Light at the Husk which was nearest to him, Finiero listened as more people decided to join the fight. He was hoping he wouldn't have to deal with any other incompetent fools...but in Disney Castle, what else could he expect? The place was crawling with idiots who thought they were completely safe from the darkness...but were completely wrong. The cornerstone of light might've been the perfect defense, but it made all the inhabitants too weak to the darkness. The experiences in the dark which Finiero had were shining in his golden eyes, as he stared straight into the strange face of the Husk. There was some weird sort of...hate in the Husk, almost as if it knew nothing but fighting, pain, and destruction. It seems as if these...things are nothing more than mindless drones. I can not see any hint of...anything intelligent in their eyes. Perhaps this fight will be a short one.
The angel-like creature might've been slightly arrogant in his thoughts, but could he really be blamed? His entire life, he had been raised on fighting through strategy and careful planning, rather than fighting based on instinct. It had never failed him once in the past, and he really wasn't expecting it to fail him now. Keeping his emotionless gaze on the Husk, he watched started to randomly drool, almost as if it couldn't keep the drool in its mouth. Raising an eyebrow out of interest, Finiero watched as the Husk moved around in a strange way. He knew that there was absolutely nothing going on in its small mind other than death and blood.
Savages...
Then, suddenly, the Husk took a great leap toward Finiero, teeth and claws bared to rip him to shreads. Of course, the angel-like creature did nothing but watch as the white...creature lunged idiotically at him. When it was only about a foot away from Finiero, he quickly stepped to the side and brought Divine Light down in a flash of white light. The movement was almost too fast to be seen, and for a second, the Husk remained motionless on the ground. Then, after only a moment, the head of the Husk fell down on the ground, causing a pool of blood to form on the grass. Wiping the blood off of his blade with his gloved hand, Finiero stepped over the dead Husk, about to walk toward another Husk, when seven of them had suddenly surrounded him. Hmph...I was half expecting them to just randomly attack. Perhaps they have some sort of thought process after all.
It didn't take long for the seven Husks to converge on Finiero's current position. He had walked himself into a trap with the other five members that had come. Looking around with his emotionless, golden eyes, he tried to analyze all of his 'allies' in this fight. None of them really seemed particularily strong. Then, he noticed the other person in the air, with white wings quite like his own. White wings...perhaps Finiero would talk to him when he got the chance? He might know something of Finiero's past...as farfetched as it might've sounded. Finiero didn't have the time to think about it, considering the fact that three of the Husks had come in from above. Pity...I thought I was in for a real fight.[/color]
Spreading his white wings as far as he could, he watched the Husks coming down from above with that same emotionless glance. His wings were being surrounded in a white light, almost blinding anyone who looked into it. Then, just as one of the Husks was about to make contact with his golden-haired head, he disappeared. He had taken off with his white wings, using the power of white light to guide him. Reappearing a couple of yards away from the circle, he seemed to disappear once more, leaving nothing more than a white flash aimed at the backs of three of the seven Husks. He had slashed at them with Divine Light, but didn't even waste the time to see if the attack had hit.
He wanted to talk to that other man...
Feeling the light fading away from his wings, he raced over to the corner where the other man stood, making it there in about a second. Landing gracefully next to the fellow winged man, Finiero folded his wings at his back, feeling the white light completely disappear. Brushing the golden locks of hair out of his eyes, he held Divine Light firmly in his hand, raising it to the eye level of one of the Husks. His golden gaze looked over to his side at the other winged man, trying to see if there was anything strange about him. He could tell the man was fighting the Husks as well, but he still didn't trust him. He'd have to keep a close watch on him while fighting... "It looks as if you could use some help. Whether you want it or not, it does not concern me. What concerns me is the similarities between us. Tell me...by what power do you have those wings?"
Perhaps it wasn't the best place to talk about that, but...Finiero needed to know.

((Okay, so seven husks are pretty much charging at the group of fighters?))
"These things are giving demons a bad name. Not all of us are like that, well, maybe my grandmother. But then again I- hey wait a minute; this isn't the place to be talking about this!" Hayai shook his head from side to side, but looked up just in time to see a single husk looming over him. Wow, it was hideous, and didn't exactly smell like flowers. The beast jabbed it's massive claw(?) at the young man. Hayai reacted quickly, and bent backward, planting his hands on the grassy floor as he brought his right leg up, and smacked the beast's arm over it's own head. He pushed off from the ground with both hands, and used the momentum gained from said push to send a strong punch. The attack struck the beast in the neck, and Hayai regained his balance soon after.
It sounded like it was going to die, but still had some fight left in it. The husk lunged at Hayai, hoping to get one last bite in. "Reflect!" The boy shouted, and in an instant flash of light, a barrier surrounded the fighter. This barrier reflected the beast's attack and sent it backward once more. This time, it actually stayed down; leaving Hayai with a few seconds to catch his breath.
Though, it looks as though there isn't going to be a break. Turning his head to the right, Hayai caught sight of several of the white creatures charging straight at them. Man, this was a lot freakier then fighting heartless and nobodies; these things were much more vicious! So, Hayai did the only thing he could think of at that moment. He extended his left arm to the side, and focused. A cream-colored sphere formed in the palm; and Hayai brought it back over his head. Treating it as if it were a baseball, Hayai gave it a strong toss at the far left of the wave of husks. A trail of sparks followed the sphere as it traveled toward it's target; the husk to the far left of the charging wave. An explosion soon followed as the sphere unleashed the thundara-strength blast.
"I hope magic works, getting too close to them doesn't seem like the smartest idea..." Knees bent, Hayai shifted his weight to the balls of his feet, with heels hovering above the grass. He was ready to roll to the left or right if need be.

Simply put, all the Husks that had attacked just then were dead. Some of these Husks let out a cry of help of sorts through a series of insectoid clicking.
But, then, at the sound of the clicking, each Husk slowly stopped what they were doing, silence over-taking the area. Their lifeless eyes shifted from whatever they were doing and to the small group. Drool drained from their mouths. It was dead silent in the area. Until one of them broke the silence; "KRRRUGGAAAL!"
And, monkey see, monkey do. Following, they all let out something of the same call. It was a battle call...a strategy call.
Some Husks drove their claws into the ground in which they stood. Some Husks drove their claws into the castle walls. Some even had their arms stretch out over 30 feet to get a better grasp of whatever it was they had ahold of. It wasn't much longer until each Husk started swinging their arms, thus sending large chunks of earth and concrete flying and falling upon the group.
[Blegh, short post.
And skipping Shrew and Cheese. But, if they don't post, they're dead...unless one of you all wanna protect them.]

Wraith was surprised by the wing man's assistance, as well as by his greeting. However he was more surprised by the question about his wings. No-one else had ever asked him about them, they'd just made there own assumptions and stared at him. This man however, seemed genuinely curious about their nature. However Wraith didn't know enough about that himself, and he didn't really appreciated the demanding tone that this man had used, however he wasn't the one that was bothered the most.
[glow=red,2,300]"None of your business."[/glow] Wraith said involuntarily, as pain shot through his body. This had never happened before, but he believed he knew what was going on.
Azer was trying to take control of his body.
Instead of fighting however, Wraith simply yielded, allowing Azer to have control. He wasn't particularly interested in this fight anyway, and it seemed that his alter-ego had a thing or two to say to this winged man. As soon as the mental defense was let down, the world seemed a dream to Wraith, and his hair and eyes both changed to a shining red color, and his pure white wings became black as pitch. The fallen angel was now the one in control of the body. [Note, the emotions, actions and thoughts from here until another change occurs are Azer's, Wraith is simply observing in a dreamlike state]
Azer was surprised at Wraith's willingness to yield the body. Had he put up any resistance, he was sure that Wraith could have repelled him, since he didn't have any emotions to interfere with a mental barrier. However it seemed that his partner was willing to give him his chance to talk to this Angel, for that's what he was, at least in part. Being a fallen angel himself, he could easily recognize the pattern of energy that was clearly visible around this man by making use of Wraith's powerful eyes. The only thing that he liked less than part angels like this one, were full angels, so this conversation wouldn't go well for the part-breed. It was at this time however, that the monsters decided that it would be a good Idea to make lots of noise and throw stone and earth at them.
This would be an effective strategy against someone with no defensive magic. However all that Azer needed to do to protect himself was solidify a barrier of pitch black energy in front of him, and move it in front of the projectiles by tracking them with his eyes. Glaring at the part-angel next to him, he decided that there conversation could wait. These monsters were the priority at the moment. If he didn't do at least some of what Wraith wanted to accomplish, then the mercenary might take control of the body, and he wouldn't be able to shout at the part-breed at all.
Snapping his fingers, Azer ignited a purple flame in his hand that seemed to not quite be fire or darkness, but something in between. Waving his hand in a cutting motion, the flame formed a blade that arced through the air toward one of the monsters, cutting the stones it impacted with in half on the way. Quickly moving his hand back behind the barrier, he examined the area again for a leader-like figure.

Looking at the strange angelic man standing next to him out of the corner of his eye, Finiero couldn't help but wonder exactly what he was. He could tell just by looking at the strange man that he wasn't an angel, but then why did he have those white wings attatched to his back? Finiero knew that he was part angel, which accounted for his wings, but...this man standing next to him wasn't even that. What other races were there that had white angelic wings like his? Running a blue-gloved hand through his golden locks of hair, Finiero took his mind off of the subject and focused on the monsters that had formed in front of him. They really were ugly creatures that had to be taken out...
And fast.
Watching each of the creatures that were standing around him, Finiero could do nothing but wait for one of them to make a move. The second one of them so much as twitched in his general direction, Divine Light instantly made its way through the creature's mouth, moving down toward the ground. The strange, white creature didn't even have a chance to react before the white sword cut it in half, leaving its two halves only attatched at the top of the head, not enough to go on living. Pushing the useless corpse aside, Finiero shuffled his wings folded at his back, eagerly awaiting the next of them to rush him. His face remained emotionless the entire time, as he heard the response from the winged man beside him. "Hmph...typical savages..."
Suddenly, Finiero heard a great roar come from somewhere near the center of the giant mass of creatures. The curiosity it aroused in the angel-creature was enough to make him raise an eyebrow. Then, before he could react any more, every one of the creatures was starting to howl for no real reason. All that Finiero could do was stand there with Divine light in his hand, waiting for them to make their move. His golden eyes raced back and forth, searching the strange creatures for any change in movement or behaviour. When their hands started to grasp at the earth, stones, and anything else they could pick up, Finiero simply kept his gaze trained directly in front of him.
It was too easy.
Making a sheathing motion with Divine Light, the white sword disappeared in a small flash of light. It didn't take long for his right hand to become enveloped in a bright, white light. He knew exactly what he could do to stop this very pathetic attack from harming him at all. While he couldn't say if it'd help those who were in the center, he knew it'd keep him safe, and that was what truly mattered. Catching a glimpse of the winged man beside him, he could see that his hair, eyes, and even his wings had changed. Suddenly, Finiero's eyes widened slightly. Showing emotion for once, the part-angel looked at the man for a moment, completely astonished. While he could tell he wasn't an angel before...
Now he wasn't so sure...
Bringing his attention back to the creatures throwing things, and scolding himself for losing attention for a moment, he raised his right hand in front of his face, pointing the palm out to the side. Five individual lights appeared on his hand, glowing with an intense light. Finiero didn't even wait for the creatures to react to release his power upon them. His hand moved across his body in a sweeping motion, releasing the five lights upon the creatures. They instantly grew into large slashes of light, racing toward the creatures and the debris they threw. All of the large objects that were thrown were instantly destroyed, leaving nothing that could harm Finiero coming toward him. The rays of light continued to fly in the air, now heading for the creatures. And, since the attack had been suppressed for the time being...
He could question the 'angel' next to him. "Interesting wing color you have grown. Exactly what type of angel flies on those monstrous...things?"
