Yeah, so I was talking to someone about my most recent post in the "The Attack" thread, and they brought up something that I don't think any of us really thought of. It may have been implied, but still, it was never directly stated. Since the Keyblade directly applies the ultimate attack and grants skill, doesn't the LockShield directly apply the ultimate defense and grant...endurance and immunity to normal things and such?
Like, without the Keyblade, Sora probably wouldn't have learned the Glide ability/be able to do so many skills and such. Shouldn't this go to say something like...if the Warriors didn't have their Lockshields they wouldn't be able to...withstand a cut from a sword as much as they could while with it. Like maybe a little cut from a sword WITH the LockShield would be like trying to cut metal. WITHOUT the LockShield, the cut would actually yield pain and blood. Ya know what I'm getting at now? It's basically more in-depth than the obvious traits of the LockShield.
I will admit, in the IM session, I made it seem like the LockShield idea was totally mine and original, despite it not being so, even if that "idea" is only what already existed as an idea with a little more flavor added to it. The next idea, however ironic it may seem, was something that IS, infact, an original idea that I've been thinking of for some while. I haven't said anything about it to anyone, basically because no-one has ever asked...o.o
The person who I was talking to brought up the question when we were discussing my newest post in the "The Attack" thread. The question basically asked, "What is the mist?". Trusting this guy with information was a mistake on my part, because he taunted me with it after I told him, threatening to tell staff and members and stuff. He was joking around, but I didn't like it at all because I knew that you guys probably wouldn't be happy at the fact that I was telling someone something about the LockShields and about Shadow, despite how little the details I revealed are. xD Anyway, he miraculously guessed what my idea was, miraculously guessed that Shadow was made of the green matter and that the green matter is the matter that Kingdom Hearts is composed of. I had been thinking along these lines for a while(Roughly a week) after asking myself, "Where exactly will this Mist have come from, and how exactly is it limitless in source?" I thought of many things that included:
1.) Shadow's birth from the green matter in the realm of Kingdom Hearts at roughly the same time as King Mickey's birth in the world of Light (Disney Castle, earlier known as Timeless River),
2.) The green matter being the matter that composes all of the doors and gates and the actual "world" of Kingdom Hearts in physical form,
3.) And in one case, the matter, usually being the source of death, births a being that is composed mainly of it: Shadow. Meanwhile, Mickey is born in the Realm of Light and world of Light a second BEFORE the time that Shadow is born. Mickey's birth influenced the inversion of the death matter by causing it to birth a being rather than kill one. Since Mickey's opposite would have to be just that, the opposite of Mickey, his birth forced the green matter to birth Shadow.
4.) As for WHY the Dark Realm's Kingdom Hearts would be composed of the green death matter, that is very simple. Usually, I associate "Light" (the substabce that is usually seen composing the Realm of Light's Kingdom Hearts and its doors, gates, etc.) with life. THUS, the green matter would be the opposing substance, the OPPOSITE of Light, not the absence of it. The opposite of the "Light" matter would be the "Green" matter. The opposite of Life is Death. See what I'm saying? It would be death, and would cause death, just like the Realm of Light's Kingdom Hearts is made of "birth substance" (Light) and causes birth (Keyblade Wielders). This is all assuming that there is a Kingdom Hearts in both the Warrior's universe and Sora's universe...if not, my EVERYTHING is destroyed... :/
XD
5.)If you're thinking, "Wait, since Mickey's birth influenced the inversion of the green death matter and caused Shadow's birth, shouldn't the same have been done to Mickey, causing it to kill him?" The answer: no. Mickey was born FIRST, and HE is the one who influenced the green matter to unwillingly birth Shadow. Shadow didn't birth Mickey, seeing as Antiforms have no influence whatsoever with the being who create them.
Both of the two original ideas stated at the beginning of this post would offer very good reasons as to why Shadow is immune to his Green matter and would be a great reason as to WHY he is almost entirely made of the mist and what exactly the mist is. Now, I know that all of that is WAYYYYY confusing, but yeah, I just needed to post it and get opinions. If you're confused, just ask me whatever you need to ask...o.o
(Also, sorry for "revealing information" about Shadow and his green matter and "revealing information" about something that everyone by now has probably guessed/assumed was fact. <--(The LockShield thing) )
Yeah...that's all, I think. o.o
