Interacting With Other Characters
Now, with battiling, an essential part of role-playing is intereacting with other characters. Such as making friends, rivals, or possibly even enemies. It all depends on how your character should react, which is what this guide is totally about.
Step 1 - Knowing Your Character
Now, of course, you made your character. Every aspect you designed to fit what you thought was best. Well, of course, this is unless you are playing a canon character; where everything is already set out for you. Now, you may think 'Well, I know my character, no biggy', well, just so you know, you probably dont if you just said that. Knowing your character is basically saying you can stick to the characters personality and other traits without fail. Not even the best roleplayers can do this sometimes. To help with this little problem, make sure you have a detailed personality. Here, on KHRPFFM, we have a Save Point board in which you can make changes to your character. So, if you need to redo the personality, go ahead. You might want to do this so you have a good set of 'guidelines' to stick to.
Step 2 - Putting it into Play
Well, if your reading this that must mean you think you know your characters personality quite nicely. Thats good. Well, here comes the hard part, sticking to it. Now, lets put you in a scenario. Your character is an upbeat, and lets-go guy. So, he is in a battle, and the villain lays a trap. Now, it'd be really strange if this character stopped to think about this. They should realistically charge on and see what happens. That is what this is about. You need to know how the character will react. Cloud for example, would not at first trust me right off the bat. But, maybe if I stuck around for awhile, he might. You need to know how your character should react in most situations, so you can implement this into other ones. Now, I wont lie, this is hard for alot of people. But realize that you made this character, and they should have a unique way of responding to most things. Alot of your feelow rolepayers will see this as impressive and it will earn you respect. Now that uo have got this down, you will find a list below showing a few simple tips and tricks to interaction:

- When talking, dont make an excessively long speech to make a long post. Now, I wont point to anyone, but, doing stuff like this makes you seem like a total noob/newb to Role-Playing.
- Describing your characters thoughts/feelings can be very helpful. Especially when your trying to do a long post.
- If your not in a mood similar to your chracters, dont try to reply with a really long post. They will crappy unless you are somehow amazingly good at this kind of stuff.
- Your character will never know everything and how to react. So, dont do it. Redneck Jimmy wont know how to make a Gummi Ship.
- Actions can say alot in role-playing, just like in real life. So, every once in awhile try to implement them into your posts. Eventually you will get better and it will become a natrual thing for you.
- Godmodding is not Battle Only. Think of a person's thought or somehow knowing where they are can count as it to. Try to catch yourself on this by reading over your posts.
- Practice! Practice! Practice! This is the only real way you will get better at these kind of threads.
- Know who your RPing with. Looking over another character profile can be helpful in threads. Though, dont abuse this insight.
