Where Nothing Gathers......
Twelve tall white thrones all arranged in a circle surrounded a small blond haired youth who seemed nervous. Suddenly multiple corridors of darkness began to appear one by one each of them filling in the empty seats. As the dark shadows vanished they leave behind dark cloaked individuals their faces shrouded in mystery behind their black hoods. They sat there gazing at the young man in complete silence. They then turned their attention towards the remaining empty throne, which was stood the tallest of them all, indicating superiority over them.
A corridor of darkness emerged onto the seat and as it began to slowly fade away a man with dark brown skin and long gray hair was seated on the throne. He seemed very serious as he sat there examining the young man from head to toe. His yellow eyes were empty of emotion but were fierce nonetheless. He radiated supremacy over all the others. He was definetly this organizations number I. The boy was to become a new member of his organization. Xemnas already knew the moment he saw him that this boy was a special Nobody unlike the others especially since his "somebody" was a Keyblade wielder.
"Bring him forward." He commanded, in a low authoritative voice. He wished to see if the boy was like his somebody. If he still carried the same qualities as "He" did such as his courage and strong will.
The boy stepped forward seemingly nervous at being called forward.
Xemnas then interrupted the boy motioning him to stop by holding his hand forward. He then began to speak to him but as he talked he would drag some of his words to give them more feeling since he could not speak with any real emotion.
"Tell me...do you feel fear boy? If not then why do you act as if you do, are you not a Nobody like the rest of us? We have no feelings such as fear, we have no emotions at all."
The Superior could sense that the young Nobody was still clinging on to his heart, which unlike the others still existed. He was most definitely a special Nobody, which, for lack of a better word intrigued Xemnas. If Xemnas was right about his assumption the young one would most definitely make a great addition to the organization. But he needed to make sure that the blond youth wouldn't end up becoming too attached to his heart since he would play an important role in his plan.
"You have to be aware of this fact boy. Don't try to cling onto something that no longer exists within you. Accept your new existence and become a member of our Order."
The young Nobody stood there taking in his deep words. A small dark corridor appeared in front of him and a pair of black pants, black leather boots, and a black leather cloak was placed in front of him. He looked up at the Superior who had a grin on his face in an attempt to appear welcoming to the young Nobody and ease his stress. Xemnas was good at manipulating others in order to get what he desired. He knew that the boy would join since he had nowhere else to go, no one who would take someone like him in. Xemnas simply nodded his head already knowing what the boy was probably thinking. The blond haired youth changed into his new attire and looked back up towards Xemnas.
“Welcome to the Organization, Number XIII Roxas. You will be our Key of Destiny.” Xemnas said clenching his fist in front of him then slowly opening his hand to give a more dramatic affect to his empty words. If Xemnas had any emotions then he would probably be very pleased with obtaining a special Nobody such as Roxas into his ranks. But sadly Xemnas no longer harbored these types of emotions nor could he even remember what they were like. His empty soul could only guess from past experiences and descriptions as to what kind of emotion one would feel and go with that. To him having no heart gave him a better understanding of it and appreciated it more.
And so, Xemnas slowly raised both of his arms into the air and a rumbling could be heard. Behind Roxas a throne much like the ones the other members were seated in emerged from the ground rising up. As soon as it stopped Roxas turned back to the Superior who had a fiendish smile.
“Axel, you will be his partner is that understood?”
He then turned his attention to one of the cloaked members who seemed a bit displeased with his new orders.
“Your first mission will be to head down to Twilight Town to extinguish some Heartless, but let Roxas take them down himself you will be there only to supervise.”
“Aww why do I have to baby-sit?” Axel groaned. Xemnas looked at him with an irritated look.
“Axel, do not fail this mission.” Xemnas said raising his voice and giving a cold tone with it sounding very annoyed by Axels attitude towards his orders. He would not put up with Axels whining and complaining. He needed to make sure their new member would not be harmed at all costs he was much too important to their cause for him to just die.
“Yeah yeah I know. Come on kid lets go. The two of them then entered a Corridor of Darkness and left the room.
“Gee, and I was hoping that we could throw a party and get to know the little tyke some more.” Spoke one of the members. Xemnas simply ignored the smart-ass comment since that was expected from Xigbar. While it gave him a sense of personality it seemed more or less annoying than anything. But Xemnas wasn’t too bothered by it since it was something that made Xigbar who he was.
“He is here only to serve his purpose to the org and nothing more.” Another replied.
“But, we need to make sure that he is unaware of his purpose and is comfortable here so he wont try to leave.” Said Xemnas. “He is too important to our cause.”
“And what about the other boy?” One of the members asked.
“They mustn’t encounter each other at any time. We need to occupy him someplace else so as to not get in our way. Take him to Castle Oblivion.”
Xemnas knew that there was a chance Sora could encounter with Roxas and possibly reunite with each other. This was something that he wouldn’t allow. But he knew that killing Sora would only mess everything up as well. No, he needed to just cage him up so he wouldn’t be a bother to the organization.
“Vexen, you Zexion and Lexaeus will go to Castle Oblivion to keep an eye on things while you await your guest.” Xemnas decided to send these three since they were not only senior members but also they were the most loyal of the organizations members and had Xemnas utmost trust.
The others complied with his orders and left for Castle Oblivion.
“I don’t think we will need them to watch over just one boy Superior.”
“Do you question my orders Marluxia?” Xemnas slowly turned towards Marluxia giving him a distrustful glare. Ever since he joined the organization Xemnas questioned Marluxia’s loyalty towards him but never made a big deal about it. He was not strong enough to take on someone like the Superior. But if he were to plan on using Sora against him he needed to make sure that the more loyal members were there to make sure it didn’t happen. Like always the Superior was two steps ahead of the game.
“No sir.” Marluxia muttered.
“Good.” Xemnas replied with a sly smirk. “You may go now.”
He and Larxene soon left the room as well.
“As for the rest of you. You all know your orders.”
