Audition post (400 words):
"Just another damn day wasting the minutes away." A cloaked figure in black began to speak to himself seemingly at random. This man was bored to say the least. You couldn't tell by looking at his face since that was obviously hidden in darkness. It was simply the way he carried himself. His actions defined his frame of mind. This particular person, however, couldn't actually feel boredom. It was more like there was just something missing. So he mixed his memories of boredom with his actions to achieve that exact desired effect.
The man's name was, Xigbar. Like the other members in the former Organization, he had a cute little nickname to go along with his new Nobody name. He was called the Freeshooter, aptly named for his excellent marksmanship. Of course marksmanship didn't come in handy when there was no one to use that skill against. Thanks to a few heroic fools the organization, Organization XIII had been virtually destroyed. As far as, Xigbar could tell everyone, but himself had been vanquished. Still, he knew that quite a few of the former members were quite tenacious. There was bound to be at least one other one who survived the extermination.
Currently he had been hiding out for the last couple of months in a somewhat featureless building in The World That Never Was. Well maybe not hiding out. It was fairly easy to tell someone was occupying the building from the outside. Xigbar, neglected to do something about this fact as few people would come look for him now. Hell, everyone but himself didn't even know he was still alive. The Keybearer was responsible for almost putting an end to his fun. Only a sliver of energy remained in the Freeshooter at that time, to feign his death, and warp out of the Castle.
Under normal circumstances he would go back to the castle and wait awhile for any surviving Organization members to show up. After all their company filled the part in him, which was missing. Well, one of the parts at least. He lacked a heart, but, his will of annoyance lived on as a shadow of the former emotion. Vexen and Zexion were his two main targets most of the time. He had his fun with the other members, but they were two priceless to pass up. Zexion, especially, being the youngest one of the orginal founders.
Other than reflecting on those past memories, his real reason for not going back to the Castle was the obvious overflow of Heartless, which invaded soon after his apparent death. Sure, the majority of them were only lowly shadow, but their sheer numbers made it impossible for, Xigbar to clean out the place on his own. As he recalled a lock was kept on his room after he left to go fight the Keybearer. Hopefully the lock had held. Xigbar had left a few important items in there for safekeeping. It would be a great burden if the little devils ransacked the place and destroyed everything.
"Oh well I'll just have to keep waiting". Already it had been four hours simply reflecting on these past memories. Reminiscing for long periods of time really wore, Xigbar out. Exactly how that was, left him clueless. Nevertheless, drowsiness overcame him and he dozed off into a long and deep sleep. A momentary routine until the eventual rebirth of the Organization. At the thought of this a smirk found its way on, Xigbar's face during his slumber.
