Notes: Advent is a holy land between Heaven and Hades. It is also a technological wonder with its skyscrapers, fast-flying floating cars, computer-controlled city defense system and party clubs. Even with all this technology, it has not lost its touch with nature.

In the north, mountains sit and in the south, a warm, sandy beach. In the west is a wasteland and in the east are plains upon plains and forests.

Advent has many species besides just angels and demons. It also contains vampires, humans, werewolves and hybrids of all the different creatures.

Appearance:

Physical Features: The most noticeable thing about Tori is her shortness. She stands at 5'2, something she isn't proud of, but accepts. Along with this height, she is also very petite with slight muscle from training with her father. Her skin is an alabaster white in color which contrasts with the inky blackness of her hair. Her hair is long and straight, but can be seen in array of styles. She also has the ability to pull out two wings: an angel wing and a demon wing.

Facial Features: Her skin is clear and translucent. The color of her eyes rang from a pale baby blue to an stormy gray. Her face is heart-shaped with a small forehead which is covered by a fringe of bangs and two longer bangs at the sides. Her nose is also small and her lips are thin and curvy with a faint pink tone to them. Behind these lips are fairly sharp teeth with two sharper k-9's on the top and bottom.

Clothing: Tori's outfit consists of a regular school girl outfit. A simple white button up with a red tie and black-and-red plaid skirt that ends about two inches above her knees. Well-worn sneakers that she considers the best for running adorn her feet.

Miscellaneous Items/Articles: She also keeps an old leather jacket of her dad's and a messenger bag to carry her stuff in. A single black ponytail holder is wrapped around her tiny wrist. She also has a small locket on a chain of her father's with a picture of her mother on the right side and a picture of her father on the left side.

Personality:

Resolve: Being a half-breed mix of demon and angel, Tori is very confused about her path in life. She is torn between her heritage. Light and dark. She is searching for the light of Heaven, but is being pulled back by the darkness of Hades.

Pursuit: She craves power. At least her demon side does. She longs to grow stronger and show other people that just because of her half-angel blood mix, she is as strong as her father, the Demon King. She is also searching for her mother, who is a full-blooded angel, in hopes of getting answer of her past. She is also searching for her because she wishes for a mother.

Fears: Tori seems like a brave kid, but she has many fears and insecurities as a pre-teen. Her darkest fear is actually one of her silliest. Crickets. Just their chirping will send chills down her spine. But on to more serious fears, she fears being swallowed by the darkness of her demon abilities, but wishes for more power from it. She is also afraid of being different, but wants to make a difference. So all in all, she is very contradicting.

Hopes: Even though she does crave power and strength, her number one hope is to find her mother or at least some answers.

Hobbies: Tori loves to train. She loves running and any physical activity. She runs for the track team of her school. But on the other hand, she is quiet the artist. She love writing poetry and taking pictures.

Public Personality: Since the majority of people she hangs out with are demons, she puts on a tough facade. She appears to be rough and menacing and ready to attack anyone that dares stand in her way. She also acts very prideful for the sake of her royal blood.

Private Personality: In private, she is calmer, but still quite hot-headed. She is nicer to people and actually appears genuinely happy.

Weapon Name: Hell's Gateway

Weapon Description: A massive broadsword with a curved hand guard at the bottom, representing demon horns. Blood stains the weapon from its many centuries of battle.

Unique Notes: It is the heirloom of the Demon King family. It was inherited to her from her father. It is held on her back by a leather strap that criss-crosses with her messenger bag strap.

Sub Abilities:

• Strength- Although it appears that small girl has hardly any muscle, underneath her skin and tendons, the demon blood that runs through her body gives her a kind of strength that humans do not possess. But because of her other blood, she isn't as strong as other demons, but still quite strong from training with her father's heavy broadsword.
  
• Speed- Tori loves to run and most of her muscles are in her legs. Combined with training and demon attributes, her speed can easily be considered her forte. This does not mean Tori is so quick she can disappear and reappear somewhere, but she is quite fast.
  
• Senses- Just like her strength and speed, her senses are also enhanced. A joke in her family is that they possesses forty-forty vision. She also has enhanced smell, taste, hearing and touch.

History:

In The Beginning

Tori's history starts with two opposing forces. Heaven and Hell. Light and Darkness. Angel and Demon. Alexis and Damon.

Damon was the Demon Prince and Alexis was the last full angel to be born in Heaven. So soon after Tori was born, Alexis disappeared and Damon returned to his family with the demon-angel child.

Damon lied to his father about Tori's angel blood and said she was half-human, half-demon instead. The Demon King was simply appalled at his youngest son's actions and ashamed of his granddaughter, but nonetheless took her in along with his own grandchildren.

Early Life

Throughout the next few years, Tori grew up in Advent in an apartment with her father, who worked as a mechanic. Being teased and criticized by the full-blooded members of her family (excluding her father), she trained and worked, pushing herself. She went through elementary to middle school, excelling in sports such as track and soccer. These were seen as ways to vent her anger towards other demons but it soon got out of control.

Tori soon began to become aggressive and hateful, pushing herself away from her father and her friends at school. She began to lash out in anger at the littlest thing that would set her off. She continued training more and more, testing herself against the toughest of full-blooded demons and getting beat down just because she thought it would make her stronger.

Turning Away

One day proved fatal as she pushed herself too far and ended up in the hospital. Although she recovered soon, her father saw it was time to confess to her. Damon told Tori of her mother and who she was.

When Tori found out of her angel heritage, she saw this as a weakness and ran away. Blindly and angrily, she confronted Marcus, Damon's older brother, and challenged him. After being beaten and bruised by Marcus, Damon showed up and ended the fight quickly.

Breaking Away

By the time Damon was finished with Marcus, Tori was beaten very badly, resulting in another trip to the hospital. A few days later, Tori awoke and the anger came back. When she returned home, everything blew up between the young demon hybrid and the Demon Prince.

"I hate you!"

These are the last three words she spoke to her father before rushing out of the two-bedroom apartment and into the massive city of Advent. As night fell, she found refuge in the church that stands in the center of the city, falling asleep on one of the benches.

The next morning, awoken by the church bell, she set out to the gummi-port with nothing but her messenger bag and the school clothes she had worn the other day. When she arrived, Tori was flabbergasted to find her father there. He presented her with three things: the Levine family broadsword, a locket with both his and her mother's pictures in it, and his own leather jacket.

The next thing she knew, she was peering out the window at him, tears streaming out of the sapphire orbs that resembled her mother's so much and on her way to find out answers to her past.

Anything else you want to say about yourself or your character?

(I know it is considered cliche to give your character wings and it is probably considered even more cliche to have one demon wing and one angel wing, but they do have an important significance. Of course, her angel wing symbolizes her angel blood just like her demon wing symbolizes her demon blood.

But together, they also symbolize her struggle between her heritage and the light and dark in her heart. So, I hope that's okay.)

You'll need to change your abilities as well because they are basically stat buffs and those aren't allowed.

This character is down right too mary-sure to accept. I'd suggest that you do some massive reconstruction or make a new character completely.
