Character Personality: Nala is every bit as rambunctious as Simba, she is willing to go wherever he goes or whatever he does. She adores her mate, Simba and is always ready to defend them and the pride whenever it is needed. She is calm, mild-mannered and motherly, though she was once fierce, brave and young. She usually only shows her old self when she is alone with Simba, or in a battle. She worries about others, especially Simba because he always seems to worry too much about things. She takes on a motherly role with others, usually the younger lions. Nala is very responsible and she stands up for what is right and fair. She fights for what she believes in and is good at persuading others. She can fight with a burning passion, though she is not hot-tempered. She has a bright optimistic view on almost everything.
Character's Appearance: Nala is lioness, she has a creamy brown orange color to her fur. Her underbelly is a lighter shade, along with her muzzle. Around her eyes, her fur is a lighter and brighter hue of orange/brown. Her figure is still young looking, though she is an adult lion; heavier and large. Her eyes are blue, though in the forests they can seem green.

Nala was born to the lioness, Sarafina and a rogue lion, named Axel.(If my sources are correct) She was born approximately 2 weeks after Simba. She can never forget the day that she first met Simba. Her mother, Sarabi, and Mufasa all agreed that Simba and Nala would be married some day. Mufasa treated Nala as his own, since Nala didn’t know her own father. Simba and Nala played together almost every day after that, one day they went to the elephant graveyard and were attacked by hyenas. Mufasa came to their rescue, he was mad at Simba for disobeying him. Nala got a small scolding from her mother.
Nala always went everywhere with Simba, whenever she could tag along. Simba’s Uncle Scar, came one day to take him somewhere. Nala stayed with her mother, who taught her some hunting skills. Meanwhile, Scar engineers a wildebeest stampede that kills Mufasa. Scar causes Simba to believe that he was the reason for Mufasa's death, and tells the cub to run away. Simba does so and Scar assumes the throne. He rules tyrannically and mistreats the lionesses. Angered by this, Nala runs away from the Pride Lands to seek help. She spots a warthog, Pumbaa, and attempts to hunt and eat him, but an adult lion arrives and fights with her. The lion is no match for Nala and he pins him to the ground. The lion is Simba, and he instantly recognizes Nala. They are overjoyed to see each other again, and also begin to realize that their friendship has blossomed into love. Simba, secretly burdened with an agonizing misapprehension that he killed his father, refuses either to take his responsibility and go back to the Pride Lands with Nala or explain his reasons, believing it would cause Nala to hate him, which leads to a quarrel.
Fortunately, Simba decides to reclaim his rightful throne after Rafiki's guidance and an encounter with his father's ghost. Nala, Timon and Pumbaa join him as Simba confronts Scar. When the usurper forces Simba to reveal that he (to his knowledge) is responsible for his father's death, Nala is as stunned as the rest, but is quickly relieved when the young lion forces the villain to reveal the truth. An intense battle with the hyenas follows with Nala leading the lionesses' charge while Simba battles Scar. Simba is able to defeat the villain by throwing him from a cliff to a pack of angry hyenas below, as Scar had condemned them earlier. The Pride Lands are restored with Simba and Nala as the new king and queen, and they look on proudly as Rafiki presents their newborn cub to a gathering of animals at Pride Rock.
She is first seen running from two Living Bone Heartless, causing Sora to leap forward and defend her. After the battle she briefly explains the situation in the Pride Lands, asking Sora, Donald and Goofy to meet her at Pride Rock where Scar reigns as king. With approval from Pete (taking a lion form), Scar intended to have the main protagonists hunted and killed but Nala stops Scar in time and escapes with the party to the jungle. They later arrive at the oasis and encounter Simba, Timon and Pumbaa. The seven characters return to Pride Rock together to defeat Scar, Pete and the hyenas. During the second visit to the Pride Lands, Nala asks for Sora, Donald and Goofy's help in bringing back Simba's confidence in the face of Scar's "ghost", and also reveals herself to be pregnant.

A lioness walked out of a cave underneath the Pride Rock, where she and the other lions lived. She had woken up alone; curious to where her mate would of have gone so early in the morning she decided to walk around. She jumped up a bunch of rocks, to get to the ledge on the Pride Rock. She surveyed the sleeping plains of the Pride Lands. Every soul in site was asleep; there were a couple movements here and there as the lions moved in their sleep. But, nothing seemed to be stirring. She walked down off of the Pride Rock. Then she walked past lions, looking at them to make sure they were asleep. She would greet them if they were awake though. She found some cubs playing next to their mother. She looked at them sternly as she passed, they settled down. Then it seemed like she had eyes behind her head as she looked back at them right as one of them nipped the other. They settled down again, and this time most likely for good.
She continued down the plains, where the lions of Pride Rock were sleeping. She then reached the end, to where the passage to jungle, where she thought she would most likely find Simba. Her hunches always pointed her to the jungle, where in time of need she had found Simba when she had thought he was dead. She slowly walked through the canyon that led to the jungle. Slowly step by step, she came closer to green scenery. She stopped looking at the jungle. Now, where in here will you be Simba..? She thought to herself, and then continued on. She would first try the waterfall. It was a clam place to just think and rest. To just let the mind soar. She thought that that would be the most likely place she would find him.
She made her way to the waterfall; she walked down to the bottom where a bit pound of water rested awhile and then continued on flowing. She was hoping to find her mate’s body lying in the grass at the edge of the water, sitting there thinking. But it wasn’t. She looked down, disappointed and then started to think again. Where can you be, Simba? I know all your places, but this was the most likely place you would be. Have you left, gone on an adventure without me? Left the pride rock? She thought. She then shook her head. No, he wouldn’t just leave without telling her. ”Where are you…” She said out loud, whispering it to herself. Maybe, hopefully he would hear her. Maybe, even come to her.
She continued to search the jungle, with no luck. She retraced her steps, maybe she missed something. But there was still no trace of him. She made her way back to the plains; she looked towards the bone yard. Are you in there? She thought to herself. She then saw the sun was rising soon. The pack would need her, without their King, she was the only one they had to look up to. ”Please, return soon Simba...” She said, almost whispering it upon the wind. Hoping it would send it to him. She went back to Pride Rock, right as everyone was waking. She smiled at them, greeting them. She was worried about Simba, but she wouldn’t let it distract her from her tasks at hand. She just hoped he would return soon to sit besides her, to keep her heart warm. She was always happy with him besides her and right now, she missed him.
