History: It started with a heart. One of the strongest hearts ever, in fact. A boy named Sora stabbed himself with a dark keyblade that took his heart and turned him into a Heartless. At that moment, another creature was created. A certain Nobody. The Nobody appeared in the world between light and darkness and was soon thrown into a world known as Twilight Town. This confused Nobody wondered until he was picked up by a group of Nobodies. The Nobodies called themselves a type of “Organization” and they said that with him they would be complete.
They named the Nobody Roxas. He didn’t know why, he didn’t care why. It was his new name, and that’s all that mattered. They took him in, raised him like their own. Xemnas knew that Roxas would be able to wield a keyblade. Roxas, at first, was not able to hold one. He didn’t even know they existed until one day….
It was during one of his usual training sessions. Roxas was fighting using his abilities when suddenly, an attack came from a training dusk. He had no means of blocking it, but still would do anything to try. That’s when it appeared. Twilight Oathkeeper. He didn’t know why to call it that, he just knew that it was needed to be called that. He remembered the look on the Organization members as they watched him. The look of amazement when they saw the second key blade appear. Twilight Oblivion. Roxas spun them and made the shape of an “x”, immediately running after his enemies and killing them all instantly.
He was told that he was ready. Ready to become a true Nobody. He was told that of his final initiation mission. The death or capture of the one known as “Riku.” The name struck Roxas hard. He didn’t know why, cause he never met anyone with the name, but for some reason it hurt him to know that he had to fight this “Riku.” So Roxas went on his search. It actually didn’t take long. He had some kind of attraction to where this boy was and soon found him. Roxas fought him without difficulty and defeated him. However, he was saved, and escaped the ordeal.
But the organization decided to let it go considering there was a witness to this encounter and they saw Roxas defeat him. Roxas became a full-fledged member of Organization XIII. The organization was now complete. However, Roxas began wondering. There were others with keyblades, so how come this keyblade chose him over anyone else? Was there reasoning to it or was it random? Roxas did nothing but ponder over this. The organization told him not to worry. That he was a Nobody and that nothing ever had a purpose, but Roxas disagreed….
Roxas had made his decision and told his only “friend,” Axel about the decision. He was leaving. He remembered how much Axel protested, but Roxas didn’t give in. He left a day after telling Axel. Before Axel was even close to having a chance to tell Xemnas. Roxas needed to know why the keyblade chose him. He suspected that it had something to do with his Somebody, and he knew that he needed to find him. However, Roxas never had a chance….
He encountered Riku again. Roxas tried to explain at first, but Riku had the first words. He told him about Sora, and he defeated Roxas. But not without Roxas coming back at Riku again. He wounded Riku only to be met by something more frightening. It was Riku’s…heartless form. That’s what Roxas thought of it as. He was immediately defeated and taken away….
When Roxas awoke, he didn’t remember anything. He was a normal boy that lived in Twilight Town. He had three best friends: Hayner, Pence, and Olette. He lived a normal life until one day….
He always seemed to have the same dream. A dream about a boy named Sora. One day, he awoke and went to hang out with his friends. They found out that their local rival, Seifer, is blaming them for stealing everything. When Roxas makes the decision to find the real thieves, Pence goes to get something, but when he does, it’s gone. Not only that, but the word is gone. The pictures. When challenged to a fight by Seifer, Roxas accepts. When he wins, Pence takes a picture, only to get the camera stolen by a strange looking creature. Roxas chases it into the forest outside of town. He chases it to the gates of the old Haunted House when it says something. “We have come for you, my liege.” Roxas is confused, especially when the creature attacks him. Realizing there’s no use fighting it with a struggle stick, he almost gives up, when a strange, key like object appears. The Keyblade. Roxas doesn’t know this, though. He just knows it can be used to kill the creature. He defeats it and gets the pictures back.
On the second day, Roxas has dreams of the keyblade and of Sora once again. Him and his friends make the decision to go to the beach. They all get some part time jobs and eventually save up enough munny to go to the beach. They all meet outside the train station. When they go in, Roxas runs into a man with a black cloak. They go to buy the tickets and the munny is gone, and Roxas thinks the man in the cloak stole it. Yet, he’s told that there wasn’t anyone there. Glum about what happened, him and his friends sit on top of the clock tower, they try to cheer him up, but to no avail.
The third day starts out strange immediately. He’s walking to meet his friends when everything freezes. He runs into a blonde haired girl that says she wanted to meet him. She was unfrozen, while everything else stayed frozen. Then she walks away, and everything goes on like normal. He follows her to the Haunted Mansion. Suddenly, in the forest, a portal opens and the same creature that stole the photos jumps out. A bunch of them chase him back into town. When the creatures surround Seifer’s gang, everything freezes once again except the monsters and Roxas. He hears the blonde girl yell for him to use the keyblade. When the creature attacks him, he holds his hands up and closes his eyes…. And then he’s on a blue platform in the dark. He receives the keyblade again and then defeats the creatures. Then Roxas walks through a door only to be confronted by a giant version of the same monster. Once defeated, Roxas begins falling through a portal of darkness, only to be saved by the same blonde girl. She tries to tell him something about his true name, but the pickpocket man in the black cloak stops her and sends Roxas through a portal back to Twilight Town. Roxas awakes by Seifer’s gang talking about the monsters. That’s when his friends stumble upon their meeting and think that Roxas was hanging out with Seifer and not them.
The fourth day of Twilight Town may be the most interesting. It is the day of the Struggle tournament. Roxas faces Hayner in the semi-finals and beats him. When Seifer loses to Vivi, he tells Roxas that it’s not really Vivi. Roxas gets into the ring and time stops again. Vivi turns into a white monster once again and Roxas is surrounded by the same creatures. The keyblade reappears in his hand and he defeats the monsters only to meet Axel once again. Axel says he’s taking Roxas back, but Roxas fights him. Then a man in red appears and tells Roxas not to believe anything Axel says. Time restarts and Vivi is looking confused, wondering how he got there. He gets up and walks away, leaving Roxas as to fight Setzer, the champion.
Roxas defeats Setzer and wins the trophy. When with his friends on top of the clock tower, he takes off the crystals on the trophy and gives one crystal to each of his friends. Then he keeps the blue one for himself. Roxas stands up to stretch when he is startled and falls. As he is falling he hears a girl. He calls out thinking it’s Namine, but learns that it’s a girl named Kairi. She is looking for someone. Someone whose name starts with an “S”….
The fifth day comes. Roxas and his friends have to do a paper for school. The decide to do it on the seven wonders of Twilight Town, different, spooky rumors about the town. They investigate them all and most were bogus. When they got to the sixth, the Haunted Train, Roxas saw it…yet no one else did. When they decided to just drop the subject and go back, Roxas demanded to know the seventh wonder. Pence told him that it was the Haunted House in the forest. A girl supposedly appeared at the second floor window even though no one’s lived there for ages.
When Roxas looks into the window, he is suddenly with Namine. He learns that he is actually half of Sora. Roxas also learns that he was never really supposed to exist. He learns the story of how Sora had lost all of his memories and that Namine was recreating them. Then he is pulled out of his vision and he’s back with Pence. Pence becomes convinced that the girl is just a curtain flapping even though Roxas can see her in the window. He doesn’t bother fighting, but goes back with Pence to see Olette. The paper was finished, so they all went to meet Hayner at the clock tower.
The final day, Roxas wakes up immediately feeling strange. He begins remembering a lot more of his past. Then when he goes to greet his friends, they ignore him. He thought for a second, then tried to grab Hayner. Roxas’s hand went right through him and then they all ran away. When looking at a picture, Roxas wasn’t there. He had been wiped away. When leaving the hideout, Roxas runs into another group of white creatures and Axel. Axel says that if Roxas doesn’t come with him, he has to destroy him. Roxas decides to fight, but is stopped by Axel freezing and the voice of the man in red telling him to get to the mansion.
Once there, Roxas finds he has been locked out, but recalls what Sora used to do with the Keyblade. He does the same thing and unlocks the door. Once inside, he remembers the time he left the Organization. He remembers everything. Roxas sees Namine and tries to ask her, but they are interrupted by the man in red, followed by the black cloaked man. When he asks what a Nobody is, Namine tell him that he won’t disappear, and they will meet again. Roxas is confused by this, but the man in red takes Namine away.
Roxas continues his exploration of the mansion and finds a type of symbol drawn on a table. When he completes the drawing, a new pathway opens. He follows it to a room where his head begins to hurt again and remembers more things. The battle with Riku, the escape from the Organization, everything! Then when he snaps out of it, he takes his keyblade and smashes everything in the computer room. He then enters a new room where he sees Axel again, this time, remembering everything. Axel isn’t too happy that it took him this long and they fight once again. Roxas summons Twilight Oathkeeper and Twilight Oblivion and prepares for battle. Once Axel is defeated, Roxas realizes that he shouldn’t have left Axel so long ago, but now there was nothing he could do. Axel leaves, and Roxas moves onto the next room. As he walks, he sees Donald and Goofy in their memory chambers. Then he enters a huge room where the man in red is standing in front of a giant bulb. The man taunts Roxas and causes him to attack, only to learn that it’s all just a data based projection. Roxas loses his temper and continues to attack the illusion until it disappears. It is at that moment that Roxas realizes there’s no choice. He merges with Sora and becomes whole….
Roxas stayed hidden after that. There wasn't really anything he could do inside Sora's mind. Nothing he wanted to do. Even though he merged with Sora, he wasn't fully accepting of it. Yet he saw no reason to do anything.... That is, until Axel died. Axel's death caused Roxas to become emotional because he was within Sora again. He began to wonder if it was all worth it? If Sora was worth it? Why doesn't Roxas just jump out there and do it himself. So he decided to test him. Roxas attacked Sora within his mind. Roxas was much stronger physically, but that's when he realized something. Sora carried the most important part, the heart. He knew that Sora knew what he was doing, and that it WAS all worth it.
Then at the final stretch. The final battle with Xemnas, Roxas left Sora's body to be with Namine one last time before both of them merged with their Somebodies. They knew it was the right thing to do. They said their goodbyes, but realized that if Sora and Kairi were together so were Roxas and Namine. They merged and Kairi and Namine went through the portal back to Destiny Islands. Sora promised to come back.
Sora had defeated Xemnas, as he promised and went back to the islands. The islands where for 6 months, Sora and Kairi spent their time together which meant Roxas and Namine spent their time together. Being with Sora, Roxas began to develop certain...feelings for Namine. He began to like her. However, now, Roxas is beginning to miss his old friends, and he wants to be independent. He wants to be able to be with Namine without Sora and Kairi. Maybe there would be no feelings, but there'd be memories!
Little did he know that his wish may come true...a little too soon....

Name: XIII. Roxas "The Key of Destiny"
Alias: Roxas
Age: About 16 years old
Gender: Male
Race: Nobody
Alignment: Neutral
Origin: Twilight Town
-----------------------
.characteristic.depth.
-----------------------
Appearance
Physical Features: Roxas is a short boy. Short and slender. His muscles aren't blatantly obvious, but he is quite strong. His hair is blonde and spiked. He is quite tan from living in Twilight Town for most of his life. He has a proud aura around him, always seen standing tall. Yet he is always seen with a sad look on him. Maybe not sad, but apathetic would be a better word. His arms and legs seem like all bone except for a little tone around them, yet, like said earlier, he is quite strong.
Facial Features: Roxas’s face has some of his most distinguishing features. Specifically his eyes. His bright blue eyes give Roxas the look of a young boy, but when looked at closely, reveal a sad and angry young man. His head is an oval shape, not counting his large blonde spiked hair. His smile, though it is rarely seen, is one that lights up the world. However, now if he does smile, it’s a smile of deception or sadness. A lot of his spiked hair falls into Roxas’s face.
Clothing: Roxas is usually found wearing the simple usual Organization XIII cloak nowadays. He used to wear a white and red outfit, but after he left Twilight Town and lost all of his friends, he decided that his old outfit was a symbol of his past, and he needed to be rid of it. Now, even though he isn’t fully with Organization XIII anymore, he thinks of the cloak as a symbol of his quest for answers and justice.
Miscellaneous Items/Articles: One item that Roxas always has with him, even though it’s not visible, is a blue bead that he had gotten off of his Struggle trophy. He gave one bead to each of his friends. When he merged with Sora, Sora ended up getting it, but no matter what, Roxas always has one also.
Personality
Resolve: Roxas has many plans for the future. One is to find his friends and get them to remember him. This is actually one of his most important tasks. However, he also has a task to find Namine. He believes that if she is caught by the organization, she will be powerless to stop them. Even if they don’t want her, Roxas knows his duty, like Sora to Kairi, is to protect Namine.
Pursuit: Roxas’s first step is to separate from Sora. He doesn’t know how he will do it, but he knows it must be done. After that, he will begin his search for Namine seeing as she may be vulnerable. He knows he should find Kairi to find Namine. Once he’s able to find a way to get his body back, he’ll search. If it means sacrificing emotions again…then he must do so.
Fears: Because he is a Nobody he really doesn’t have any fears because he can’t feel anything. Or maybe, that’s his biggest fear of all, not feeling anything. Or maybe going back to forgetting everything.
Hopes: Roxas, like every Nobody, wishes to become whole. He wishes to have a body and a heart with emotions. He wishes to have his own memories without having to share with Sora.
Hobbies: Roxas normally just wanders. He likes Struggle, but is hardly ever in a world where he can play considering he doesn’t go back to Twilight Town very much. Otherwise, Roxas likes to Portal hop from world to world.
Public Personality/Private Personality:
Public: Roxas isn‘t a very talkative kind of guy. He‘s usually quite quiet and if he does talk, it‘s usually simple yes or no answers. He almost always wears his hood up in public to prevent from being seen. Sure, it may attract a little more attention, but as long as no one could see his face, he felt safe. You never know who you might run into in public areas. He walks tall and proud. Proud to be a free Nobody.
Private: In actuality, Roxas isn‘t proud to be a Nobody. He hates it. He wants nothing but to have memories. He isn‘t very smart, but he sure is strong. When in the presence of people he knows, or by himself, Roxas has his hood down, revealing his spiked blonde hair and blue eyes. If there is such thing about caring, he cares about his friends: Hayner, Olette, and Pence. He also cares about Namine. He talks more around people he knows, but still not as much as before. His voice now has this monotone style to it whenever talking to people. It’s as if he just doesn’t care whether he lives or dies anymore. Occasionally, Roxas shows some emotion. He shows anger most often, but also at some points hope and happiness. He is not the same as other Nobodies.
One person that sees Roxas's true side is his best friend, Axel...if there is such a thing as a Nobody having "friends." When Roxas was part of the Organization, he would always tell Axel everything no matter what. He was the first one that Roxas told when he left the Organization, and he was the one that he always spent time with. They were inseparable and most of the Organization was was disgusted by this.

Weapons
Weapon Name: Twilight Oathkeeper and Twilight Oblivion
Weapon Description: These are two keyblades. Twilight Oathkeeper looks exactly like Sora’s Oathkeeper. It is a key blade comprised of many bright colors of white, blue, purple, and yellow. It has wings on the handle and the blade is two blades going up to curve and form a star on the end. The key chain is a bright yellow star which is the lucky charm that Kairi had given Sora. Oblivion is an all black keyblade. It has a spiked, circular shape as the handle. The blade is straight with a slight white design on it until it hit’s the key part where it is in a strange, crumpled crown shape. The key chain is a black kingdom crown.
Unique Notes: Both are keyblades, but do not have the full strength of their abilities yet. Both are able to be summoned from nothing, so they are not carried on him.
Abilities
Base Ability: Light
Sub Abilities
- Nobody Beams: White beams of light that have the Nobody Symbol on top of them. They appear in a group and are controlled by Roxas. Roxas is vulnerable during this attack because he is controlling the beams, but they usually protect him. Each set of beams only lasts one round.
- Flash Cycle: Roxas does a slash with both keyblades all the way around him. A large white flash of energy flies out in about a ten feet radius from him and damages anyone in the vicinity.
- Bright Aura: A large circle of the white beams once again surround Roxas. He raises into the air and two large balls of light appear. They cause the illusion to make people think they are standing on a platform in a world of twilight. The balls of light then begin to shoot smaller, darker balls of light at the opponent. A larger proximity is needed for this attack.

Yet he saw no reason to do anything.... That is, until Axel died. Axel's death caused Roxas to become emotional because he was within Sora again. He began to wonder if it was all worth it?
