Plot Rough

This is just something I slapped together. It shows what we've come up with so far and what we need to work on.

Remiel and Mickey were both tutored under Yen Sid. Each were the first KeyBlade Wielders. Remiel had the KB of Darkness, and Mickey the KB of Light. Remiel and Mickey were rivals, struggling for dominance as the top dog. Each time they battled, the universe was impacted; depending on which side won, the universe would either grow more filled with Light or swallowed in Darkness.

While Mickey fought to keep the universe predominately Light, Remiel fought for his own selfish desires. He desired Mickey's KeyBlade. If he gained Mickey's KeyBlade, he'd be the most powerful, and he could twist and turn the universe with as much Light and Darkness as he wanted.

The final battle came. Remiel lost. Remiel was banished to eternal sleep in Dive into the Heart. However, his powers were still within the Dark KeyBlade. To prevent anyone from gaining Remiel's power, the Dark KB was locked away in the only place no one would ever find it; Kingdom Hearts. However, the side effect no one saw. The Light filled Kingdom Hearts now was surrounded in a shell of Darkness from the mere aura of the Dark KeyBlade.

The result was chaos. Kingdom Hearts, encased in Darkness, spawned Heartless and Nobodies of insane power. The future looked bleak. That is, until Mickey figured out how to balance it out again. Sacrificing the Light KeyBlade to regain the balance of Light and Dark, it returned to its original form; the Cornerstone of Light. Instantly, the Light pushed back the Darkness enough to keep it from the utter chaos that it had been causing.

20(?) years later, after the defeat of Organization 13, Maleficient remained in the shadows. She was planning on where to go from there. She, like everyone, knew if she got rid of the Cornerstone of Light, she'd be unstoppable. To find out how to take it, she attacked another enemy of her's, Yen Sid. After a relatively long battle, she got Yen Sid out of the way, and Mal made her way into his library. There, she learned about the history of the Cornerstone of Light, and thus the history of Remiel.

Mal, somehow, gets Remiel out of Dive into the Heart. Also, somehow, wakes him up.

Mal and Remiel---for some reason yet decided---go and attack worlds with their Gang of Bad Guys. Each Gang member owns a Fake KeyBlade that unlocks the Soul, like Riku's Fake KB unlocked Hearts. With these Fake KBs, they gain an army of Wraiths.

By injecting pure Darkness into the Soul, the Soul's strength is amplified and grows larger, extending out from the skin. As the Soul extends outward out of the body, the Heart and Body are too imbued with Darkness and partially eaten away. The end result is a ghost-like entity with a skeleton (representing the Body) within it and a Heart with holes corroded through it. These are the Wraith. Through the help of Hades summoning pure Souls, the army gains Generals, which will probably replace the Gang members wielding the Fake KBs. Being only a Soul, they're stronger than regular Wraiths.

Remiel, realizing that Yen Sid had been the wrong teacher, becomes apprentice to Mal. They overtake the Cornerstone of Light together, and thus Remiel gets the KB of Light. Remiel loses interest in taking orders from Mal soon afterwards, and kills her.

And then Remiel---now the leader of the Wraith Army---somehow finds Kingdom Hearts, only to find the Dark KeyBlade gone (Mickey owns it).

He probably goes on a rampage and kills some more.

Eventually, he finds Mickey and sees that Mickey owns his Dark KeyBlade now. Remiel defeats or kills Mickey and regains the Dark KeyBlade. Both KeyBlades, now owned by the same owner, either morph together to form the ultimate KeyBLade or morph individually into 2 really strong KeyBlades.

Then he does some stuff. We need to figure out what. In other words, we need to give Remiel REAL goals.

1. Remiel needs a LOT of depth.

2. Are we having Mal awaken Remiel during the plot? Because that was the impression I had.

3. I think Mickey and Remiel should've been friends then fight as enemies later.

4. I'm still in favor of the 'good villain' idea.

So like, in a cutscene in one of the Kingdom Hearts games, there is a story about how there was a time where there existed no Darkness. Instead, only Light existed. Yet, they fought over the Light.

So, in our own little twist on things: Light was the primary existance in the universe. The Light made people's lives great. But, some people got greedy and wanted their lives to be better, so they started hoarding the Light. Eventually, war broke out over the Light. From this greed and violence, Darkness (and Sin, the power that feeds Remiel) grew supreme.

The side that wanted for everyone to have equal Light remained pure, while the greedy soon fell into Darkness.

From this war, the KeyBlade of Light and the KeyBlade of Darkness appeared for the first time and chose their masters: Remiel and Mickey, thus giving the two a real reason to combat each other.

Now, this would give Remiel the top goal of diminishing Darkness and restoring Light. In simpler terms, using Darkness, he wants to restore Light, so that he can take all the Light for himself and make him the happiest/whatever in the universe. Since he would have all the Light, the result would be good or evil, everyone else would be dissolved into despair and chaotic and Dark-filled lives.

This was another plot idea from Larxy. Just for concideration for our plot to add more depth or something.

Anyways, I was thinking about that sad attempt at a plot idea I gave you last time... What do you think of making the door actually a series of doors/rooms that can only be unlocked by certain elements? Example: They open the First door with three keyblades and find... dun dun dun... another door (The Second) that only opens to someone with the ability to use ice? This person would then be drained of all their powers, given the choice to die or just be knocked unconscious and left very tired for later threads, and then the door would open to... another door/room that needed a light elemental character... and so on...

I doesn't sound too difficult for mods to pull off, and it's up to the members to go out and find/make characters of that element willing to join the cause... but at a small price. The characters that sacrifice themselves will have to have some trusted allies to ensure that they are kept safe from what ever characters are following the ones trying to open the doors. (They should also get a small prize/pay for being involved in the plot and making themselves so vulnerable, but they don't need to know that. It can be a surprise.) The mods could make a new sub-board for every door and put in a clue as to what element is needed and a short description of the door/room. Pretty simple, ne?

I kinda like this plot in a sense that it will hopefully force the darkness and nothing to team up against the light. In a sense, it will be the silly light side who is the bad guy in this story, as they mean to unlock the sealed doors that are holding back a monster... Of course, this is only because the lackeys of said monster spread false rumors to ensure that someday their master might be released.

As for the monster... I'm torn. Should we make it something that is only against Light? Or something that wants to devour everything? (I like either way.)

Also, should we make the monster primitive in thought? Or intelligent? (I think primitive would be the better choice. It won't be rock dumb, but it's made up of a lot of cruel instinct and survival skills.)

I was thinking it would be cliche, but kinda cool if it were like a cross between a badass FF dragon and a heartless... ghostly in appearance... like a big shadow.

We should think of a name for this beast... We should also think of an interesting way to either beat it, or seal it away again... Or perhaps, it could swallow everything and turn the Universe into a tainted mess that needs to be cleaned up? Like for instance, an increase/release of hordes of heartless/nobodies that were not around before. That way, mods don't have to fight players like last time. (Unless they want to for kicks and for special prizes to be given out.) Players can host their own battles against their own made npc heartless or other players.

Hmm... perhaps we could have a thing so that when everything gets infected, so do we... Our characters could suffer from loss of power, instability in body and mind, and other weird side effects.

I'll have to think more about that later. I've got to get back to work soon or risk getting caught. ><;

One more thing though... how do you guys plan on feeding this story and yours to the masses? Are you going to try to cram it down people's throats like last time? Or might you try making it more of a side story thing that might only update when things on the board get slow?

This idea sounds somewhat...odd to me. I mean, it's a cool concept, but there's something about the whole 'open this door, then that door, then the next door' and so on and so forth. Then the giant monster that is somewhat cliche, as she said, being based off of no instint. It's not a bad idea, but I don't think there's a whole lot of room for depth. It kinda reminds me of KH1. Do a lot of trivial chores, then fight a giant baddie.

Cool concept, but...hard to execute effectively.

Well, we don't have to use these exact ideas. They can be modded around in different contexts of the plot to be more original and effective. Its the concept we can use to make our plot fuller.
