World : Christmas Town
Yntessa watched the elves move from one spot to the next. They carried presents of all sizes and all colors and all shapes into their shop where they managed to escape his view.
Yntessa was standing out in plain sight. However, the elves had transformed him into something else on the outside. He had stood so long in one spot that snow completely covered him. The elves noticed this clump of snow and sculpted it into a snowman, unknowing that Yntessa remained inside.
So, now Yntessa simply watched the elves as he remained out in the cold...as a snowman. How embarrassing.
He was sure not to move around much, lest the snow fall off and his camoflauge be ruined, but he managed to turn his head enough to look up at the brilliant winter sky. Only to have his singular red-eye covered in snow.

Wow... Mikami thought, such a blissful scene, Christmas Town was. From the snow filled hills to the area inhabited by elves, there was nothing here but cheer and figurative warmth. This somewhat pleased Mikami, but he was quite cold in his outfit, especially since the cotton around his shins were drenched with water from the snow.. not too pleasing to anyone. He went up ahead to get nearer to the elves, watching them from afar, admiring their hard work ethic and child-like playfulness.
He then noticed there was a snowman right beside him, as the snow began to cover his hair and hinder his vision. But it was quite obvious this snowman was relatively larger than most normal sized snowmen, but he just thought that was the work of the elves, doing things larger than the norm. He leaned against the snowman for a bit, attempting to lean yet not crush the snow with his figure, vandalizing the work of the elves. His shoulder hit something that seemed to be quite hard, which couldn't have been snow. This picked suspicion a little, so he stopped leaning against the snowman, and brushed off some snow in the same area his shoulder hit to reveal what the hard substance was. He saw a yellowish substance appear, that seemed to be quite bony, so to speak, but he did nothing further and simply said out loud, "Is someone there?"

Yntessa listened as someone approached. The snow was crushed under his feet as he came ever closer. The simple sound was a soothing sound, but Yntessa was no where near going to welcome it. This approaching person could be an enemy. However, Yntessa was by no means going to poof out of his snowman to confront him or her.
He couldn't even turn his head to look as something brushed up against him, compacting the snow and colliding with his exoskeleton. Rather than remain silent and have the man brush more away and reveal himself, "Gggggghhhhhhh," came out in the form of growl that only a puppy would fear.
Because now making puppy growls was less embarrassing than being encased in a snowman. This sure was an annoying case of events.

Hearing the small growl from the figure inside the snowman, Mikami didn't know what to do. "Wow, you sure are a strange one. I can assure you I mean you no harm, I just wish to talk to you since there isn't much else to do in such a land, well, other than talking to the elves, but I believe they're hard at work, so I'm not going to bother them. If you wish for me to leave you alone, a few words of confirmation is all it takes." Mikami said, in a soft voice only heard by the figure next to him, hoping to get at least a few words out of the figure.
He continued staring at the elves since he was drawing a few stares in his direction, and it was a little more than obvious that the figure next to him did not want to be seen by the elves, so he acted as if he was the only one there, once again admiring the small creatures high working caliber, and the blissful scene all around him.

Yntessa listened to this strange person speak. This guy simply wanted to talk out of boredom? What a weirdo. Though, it had been a long time since Yntessa had had a conversation. So...maybe this was welcome.
After all, ever since Yntessa had transformed into this monstrous form, he had avoided any contact with another being...other than the animals. The animals loved him anyway. It was the blasted humans with their rocks and torches and guns that worried him so. Them and their desire to hate anyone they didn't understand; how fearsome. They were the true monsters.
Yet...
The top orb of the snowman turned and a single red eye now peered down at the man. "Nnnnnnnnnnnn," he buzzed at Mikami before a claw came out from the thickness of the snow and gave a thumbs up, as to say that Yntessa accepted the conversation invitation.

Mikami was a little relieved to get the thumbs up from the figure, who had been making some very strange noises, not actually saying full words, which made Mikami chuckle a little in his mind. There was something strange about the figure though, he seemed human, but at the same time didn't, because what came out of the snowman was a claw rather than a hand.
This made Mikami a little suspicious of the figure, but it did not make him afraid. He didn't really much care if the figure was human or not, because he obviously understands what Mikami is saying, so a conversation is actually possible. Something that isn't human seems much more interesting than a regular old ningen these days, so Mikami accepted and welcomed the fact that the figure might not be human. In any case, he had to say something now.
"So what brings you to a place like Christmas Town? It doesn't seem like your the type who'd come to such a place, being so antisocial and whatnot. Maybe it's the cheerfulness of the elves, that's why I came here, to get away from everyday agitation and come go to a place where it's nice.. peaceful." he said, revealing a little true feeling with this conversation starter.

Yntessa could understand the craving for peace. In this universe of hussle and bussle, no day was quiet anymore. Heck, if it was closer to Christmas, this world would surely be much louder. But no, the faint clink and clack and toink and tonk of the elves working away was a nice, pleasant sound that was only faint enough that you could only really notice it when someone wasn't talking.
Yntessa turned his head, and thus the top snow ball, his red eye penetrating the snow and watching the elves. The same claw as before, like a bony guantlet, pushed through the torso of the snowman, pointing at the line of presents on a conveyor belt, seen through a very clean, but snowy, window.
Yntessa was here for a present. Which one? He didn't know. He just wanted a toy.

Mikami didn't quite understand what he meant by pointing his finger at the line of presents, or maybe he was just over thinking it. Did he want to just enjoy the fact that there are many presents for all the boys and girls in all the worlds? Did he want a present from the line for a loved one or possibly himself? What he wanted, Mikami did not know but he took a gander, and it was probably the latter of the two things he thought.
"I see. I'm guessing you want a present? Well I'll go talk to the elves and see how things work out big guy." he said, as he finally took note that the figure was extremely larger than him, if not much taller. He walked over to the workshop full of elves, and gave a friendly hello. It appeared as if the Elves were a little cautious of Mikami, due to his questionable clothing in an area like this, but they spoke to him nonetheless. After about half a minute of chatter, more like half a minute of lie creation, the elves prompted Mikami to choose any present he desired.
After a few seconds of thought, Mikami chose something he thought might mean a little something to the figure in the snowman. It was a crystal ball, and encased inside it was a living room type scene, with a family of three, parents and a child, opening gifts on Christmas day, with smiles on their faces. Before leaving the workshop, he asked the elves to wrap the gift, in a small box, which they did at an incredible speed, not too surprising since they do it 24/7.
He walked back to the snow covered figure and balanced the present on his head, then continued watching the elves at work, as to not raise any suspicion. "You can open it at any time once you leave this place, since I don't think you want the elves to see you. Or if you'd like, you could blow your cover, step out of the snow, finally reveal yourself to the wonderful elves, and open your present."

Yntessa watched the man leave with a mission. In amazing timing, he returned with a present. Was it that easy? Did Yntessa freeze outside for no reason? He would never know.
His red eye, much like a camera, focused in and out upon the present. It was legit. Before the weirdo man could change his mind and make-off with Yntessa's present, Yntessa's arm stretched out from the innards of the snowman. His clawed fingers wrapped around the top of the present before his entire arm retracted, pulling the present into the snowman cover.
He would open this lovely present when it was more appropriate. However, if he could wait for long would be something that he would find out.
Yntessa looked upon the man. Why had he retrieved a present for Yntessa? Yntessa was being rather rude, after all, to this man. Strange, strange.
"GhhtthhhhAAAAghks," he said, his speaking failing. The simple word of 'thanks' is totally lost upon Yntessa. Internally, Yntessa kicked himself for even trying to speak.

Mikami was literally amazed at how the giant of a man could maneuver about inside the parameters of the snowman. I guess the elves must have done a hell of a job then... he thought, continuously and rudely staring at the figure beside him. Although he didn't really show it, he hoped the figure beside him would like the present he got him. Family meant a lot to Mikami, especially with a past like his, and since family is so general, he thinks it would more likely than not mean something to the figure beside him as well.
He then heard another strange noise come from the figure beside him that he could just not make out. At the very least, he was trying to talk to him, which was good, but what he was saying, Mikami did not know. Maybe a wow since he opened the present? Maybe a thank you for the effort? Maybe even some slight cussing for not getting him a better present? It didn't really matter to Mikami, at least the figure was attempting to make contact. "So, are you going to give the present to anyone special?" Mikami asked.

Yntessa pet the present. It was like a cat that he had missed for years, or a rare gem that he had been searching his entire life for. His clawed fingers plucked at the tight ribbon, playing with it as mindlessly as you'd expect. It reminded him of his own Christmases. His Christmases with his family. "Kck, kck," was noised as he remembered his family, holding back any tears that could possibly come up. If Nobodies could cry, that was a mystery he'd never allow himself to find out the answer to.
After a moment of invisible mental gathering, Yntessa faced the man again. "Ni," he noised when he tried to say 'no.' "Kigfffft Yntessa. Myeeene." It was horrible English, but Yntessa was trying and that is what counted. If the man would be able to decipher it, that was the question, but in the end...it wasn't like this was an important conversation.

Well, once again, the figure beside him made some strange noises, but they were a little more clear than the ones he had made in the past. What he was saying seemed like "Kift Yntessa. Mine." It was somewhat clear what he was trying to say, the gift was for him, and it seemed like his name was Yntessa. Well it was nice to put a name to the.. wait, Mikami still didn't know what he looked like, but it didn't really matter, the name would suffice.
"Yntessa, eh? If that's your name, I like it, and I see that the gift is for you. Well, I hope you like it. Anyways, I think I should be going now, since I've had my fair share of peacefulness for today. It was nice to somewhat meet you Yntessa, and I hope I'll get to see what you look like before I die. Bye." Mikami said as he walked away from the snow covered man, then, his time in Christmas Town ended, and he teleported out of this world.
(Mikami, OUT!)
